Napoli are not playing as well as last season. So the fact that Real Madrid beat them should not deceive us. Real Madrid may have played well, but Napoli played badly. Real Madrid is always the favorite in the Champions League. They showed us this many times.

Real Madrid manages to win most of its matches with its experience. They also won many matches in the Champions League by using their experience. They have a big deficiency this season. There is no star striker in the team. If Mbappe joins the Real Madrid team, I think the biggest favorite will be Real Madrid again.

Napoli's Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen has suffered a hamstring injury on international duty, the club said on Monday.
https://www.reuters.com/sports/napoli-striker-osimhen-suffers-hamstring-injury-2023-10-16/

Napoli has left from competition to finish at the second spot since osimhen is injury right now. I see no points to support napoli in this case. I would rather than pick different club instead of napoli to win the second spot. Osimhen is facing injury and no eta when he will able to recover from his injury.

It's a good news for its opponent caused by missing osimhen will make napoli performed differently compared when osimhen was playing in the club. Unexpected news has come for us and yeah that's good to see napoli lost him at this moment.

Im not even expecting osimhen to get injury but it was fucking good for another club. Real madrid has not competitor again and the club can win the group easily.

I can imagine when napoli must face real madrid without him. it will be so good as madrid will able to destroy napoli once again. Napoli is almost coming to its end. Playing without osimhen made the gameplay of the club being so different.

I would have expected Milan to be the leader in Group F. Because I really liked their game against Newcastle in the first match. They could have just been better at finishing. I expected them to improve this side against Dortmund however that match also ended in a 0-0 draw. Milan are just in 3rd place with 0 goals scored and conceded.  Grin

Newcastle's show against PSG was really too much. Technically their squad quality is way below PSG but team performance changes everything. If Newcastle collect at least 4 points from Dortmund then they can even finish the group as the leader.

@Davian144 when you’re a big club like Manchester City you need to have player’s who can step up and at City it seems that their player’s are not stepping up because these are opportunities for others to secure a starting 11 spot for themselves. Lastly I believe Pep would have done solid analysis by now and will come up with a better tactical plan hence it’s unwise to underestimate City even in the absence of De Bruyne.
Manchester City until now played without De Bruyne and they can still achieve 3rd position in Premier League and won 2 matches in Champions League. They're already been great so far, even though De Bruyne is currently a Manchester City's heart.

De Bruyne will also get older, it's just a part of regeneration and Manchester City seems quite success since they're still in good form.
It is not yet clear when Kevin De Bruyne will be able to return to Manchester City in each of their matches because the injury he suffered is quite fatal and can even be claimed as an injury with a long period of recovery and this has had physical and on Kevin De Bruyne who is one of the important players for Manchester City besides Haaland.
Apart from several players being absent, Pep has now changed his strategy for the better without the two players in the midfield position and in the future it can still be confirmed that Manchester City can return to first place in the EPL and also qualify for the next for the UCL with the top position in group G.

It is true that Kevin De Bruyne is now 32 years old and as he gets older he can experience phase of decline in performance but Pep still believes in De Bruyne that he will remain Manchester City mainstay midfielder besides Rodri.
Kevin De Bruyne has suffered a major injury, which is why Manchester City has not been able to get him into the team since the beginning of the season, but he will join Manchester City's training camp from December and may be seen on the field again in Manchester City's jersey from December. If we call Kevin De Bruyne one of the most important players of Manchester City, it would not be wrong but without having one of the most important players, Manchester City is doing quite well with the rest of the players. Not only is Kevin De Bruyne no longer with the club, but they have also let go of two of their club's best midfielders this season. Despite injuries and some players leaving the club, Pep has built a beautiful squad with the rest of Manchester City's players. We are waiting for those who are injured because Manchester City are more dangerous when they are.

If you mean that Union Berlin couldn't challenge Real Madrid in regards to the number of chances both teams produced, then you are correct. But it was still very close for Real Madrid to drop 2 points against Union Berlin. These smaller teams aren't without chances to at least keep a point in those games against Real Madrid and Napoli, but for Madrid the most important game was the one against Napoli in Italy. That game was like tossing a coin as Napoli could have won it as well. They were equally performing the whole game and Madrid had a bit more luck. It may have some consequences for Napoli if they make a mistake against one of the weaker teams.

In fact, Real Madrid really struggled to win the match against Union Berlin, in fact they had to wait for 90+4 to score 1 goal. The match against Napoli was certainly tougher, but Real Madrid also struggled to win the match. They still have 4 games and I don't think Real Madrid will be able to win them all without mistakes. But whatever it is, Real Madrid is the favorite to qualify for the round of 16.

This week Real Madrid will visit the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium for a La Liga match. Then Madrid will visit the Municipal de Braga Stadium for the 3rd match of the Champions League group stage. The players will of course lack rest time, especially as several players are also called up to the national team for EURO qualifiers or other competitions. I think it will have an impact on the team's performance because of fatigue.

The group stage is going to go on very comfortably for Real Madrid. We must have all understood it from their winning against Napoli away recently. That was technically the toughest match of the group. But even Napoli couldn't stop them in Naples. I can already be confident that Real Madrid will finish as group leader.

Napoli lose to Real Madrid at Clement Turpin Stadium after winning Sporting Braga away from home in the group stage's first match, and they are the strong opponents that can stop Real Madrid from topping the group because Union Berlin and Sporting Braga did not come close to challenging Real Madrid because of their Champion's League experience.
As it stands, Real Madrid will top the group if they keep consistency, because I know that they can beat Napoli at Santiago, and winning the remaining two home and away is not a problem for them.

Hmm, this is just your imagination, and you centered it only on the teams you think can win the title, not considering teams like Arsenal that are in form and have the ability to defeat any team this season because of the talented young players in their squad. Nevertheless, it's your prediction, but remember that there are teams like Barcelona, Inter Milan, and others that are also capable of winning this league.

I think all clubs have their own strengths and weaknesses, and Real Madrid is no different. The best opportunity that Madrid management can use is the January 2024 transfer market, to recruit a number of new players to increase the club strength to make it more promising. Ancelotti is very ambitious about ending his tenure with various trophies before coaching the Brazilian National Team. With the depth of the squad he currently has, I think he can realize his ambition, even though they sometimes have difficulty winning, but what is clear is that they have handled it well so far.

At the top of the La Liga standings and Group C of the Champions League, it is a fact that Madrid deserves to be the favorite, because on the other hand, Man City, Bayern Munchen, Barcelona and Inter Milan are having difficulty topping two standings at the same time, I mean this list of clubs. Each also has its weak sides.
Even though many people continue to talk about Real Madrid's weaknesses this season, the fact is that all of this is still refuted by the good performance of their players. Real Madrid is leading La Liga at the moment and they are also leading the standings in the Champions League. I'm not sure what there is to doubt if the players are able to maintain consistency of form, unless they are really bad and fail to win many games.

Apart from Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Inter and several other teams, I will always say Real Madrid is the favorite. Real Madrid has a great history in this competition and the strength of the team and its experience cannot be doubted, but failure may come when other teams can play more effectively than Real Madrid.

This season I don't expect Real Madrid to add to their collection of Champions League titles. Real Madrid can certainly qualify for the round of 16, but I'm not so sure they can reach the final if they face tough opponents in the knockout round. Real Madrid could barely win the game against Napoli, they even had difficulty winning the game against Union Berlin. Imagine if in the knockout rounds Real Madrid had a better opponent, I think they would have failed.

But I agree that anything can happen. Real Madrid is the king of the Champions League with its collection of titles, but the doubts are always there this season because Real Madrid seems to have lost their attacking power without their best striker. Bellingham can certainly be relied on, but he can't always be the hero in every crucial match.

What Real Madrid needs now is an Mbappe. Simply put, Bellingham can't do it alone. I mean, coming in from the midfield might be a brilliant display, but nothing beats a running goal scorer or a striker like Ronaldo. I know Real Madrid really miss him and until they can get a phenomenon like him, Ancelotti will keep sourcing for the right striker until resignation or retirement.

I also think it would be tough for Real Madrid to win this UCL because other teams have done better and not until the finals would anyone be able to properly ascertain their spot to the title.

I think it is a given that Real Madrid is going to move to the next round and they are doing it on first place, however their recent performances do open the debate about whether or not they can win the whole thing, as there are teams that are showing a performance that is superior to what we are seeing Real Madrid deliver, still due to their history and economic power we cannot disregard that Real Madrid could do something to turn things around and improve significantly over the next months.

This is quite an early call you are making here Smiley Real Madrid has lots of potential and I wouldn't get too distracted by some weaker performances. They have everything it needs to raise their performance level. Because simultaneously Manchester City isn't doing that great either. If we consider both Real Madrid and Manchester City, I don't think one team can be considered much better than the other. Maybe Arsenal will be among the biggest favorites and maybe Barcelona can as well increase their game quality over the coming months. Last season I was quite sure that Manchester City would win it as they have been so dominant most of the time, but it's different this season. It is much harder to give it a guess, but saying that Real Madrid is probably not one of the favorites doesn't quite right to me.
I guess doubting Real Madrid's chances of winning the title this season isn't an insult to them. I have watched almost every match in all competitions, maybe even more than the fans themselves, so I know where this team's weaknesses are so I doubt it.

Real Madrid's strength this season comes from Bellingham's good performance. I can imagine that if a team was able to stop Bellingham and Vinicius' movements, then Real Madrid would really have a hard time winning the match. Their midfielders could help find goals, but Ancelotti's strategic approach this season has tended to be easier for his opponents to know. If you doubt what I said, please review the derby match between Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid and find out where Bellingham is.

We agree. It's just that if we try to see what Pep planned and did, there were changes made when De Bruyne suffered a long injury. Several times I tried to examine what Pep did with his team, as well as the system he implemented. In fact, based on my personal point of view, Pep is trying to make several rotations and look for the best composition with the ideal pattern for the available players. In the end, in several matches, Pep implemented his 3-2-4-1 pattern again. Even though his team did not play optimally, they still played well and won the match, especially against Leipzig on the second matchday of the Champions League.

The problem is different when City meets a tougher team, as proven against Arsenal, Pep chose to apply the same 4-3-3 pattern. that means, I assume that even though City continued to play the match well, the needs and performance of the team's squad were not completely what he expected. therefore, Guardiola tried several times to rotate his players. In fact, Grealish is often left on the bench. However, I think the coach is preparing something else for his team due to several players leaving and De Bruyne's injury. Well, we'll see what happens next.
On Matchday three, their opponents will be Young Boys. Most likely, Guardiola will rotate some of his players again.
By the way, so far City have not experienced any problems in this competition and I remain confident that they will continue to play their best in this competition.

Real Madrid are favorites to reach crucial phases in UEFA Champions League competition this current season. Carlo Ancelotti have solid longterm plans for Los Blancos and he's using this medium to arrange every basic thing in the club. He's not holding back, he's determined to take the team to another levels without hesitation. Napoli are not among the top contenders because they couldn't match up the exact same energy portrayed by Real Madrid. The Naples could possibly settle for lesser results in UCL and improved better when it comes to Seria A games.

Even before several of their players were injured and underperforming, Manchester United's previous performance cannot be compared to that of Bayern Munich, and they are far superior to them and will finish ahead of them in the group stage. Manchester United still has a chance to finish second in the group because they have four more matches to play, but I doubt they can beat Bayern Munich in their second leg clash. If they lose or draw a point with Bayern Munich, they will be disqualified from finishing first, and Bayern Munich will almost certainly win their remaining four matches.
I think MU's chances of finishing in second place in the group will be very difficult, because Manchester United's performance itself is unstable or inconsistent. I prefer Galatasaray, in the domestic league they are quite impressive with the 8 matches they have played, the 7 wins they have achieved and so far they have never lost. On the 24th Galatasaray will play against Bayern Munich with full support from the crowd, I am sure Galatasaray will get points at home to maintain the points position in the group

SC Braga, who in their next match in Group C will face Real Madrid, will likely have a little difficulty winning even though the match will be played at the Estadio Municipal de Braga.
Braga at home might also make it difficult for Real Madrid to get full points, although in terms of quality and experience Real Madrid is much better, but Braga is not bad either. In my personal opinion, this match is actually difficult to predict, although also I actually support Real Madrid to win, but anyway Braga is not an easy opponent to beat. Especially, Braga will face a big team at home, that will motivate them to show their best performance.

Wow is it a surprise that there are still people who doubt the quality of Real Madrid, despite the fact that Real Madrid are on fire at the moment. I don't know, on what basis you doubt Real Madrid because after all, Real Madrid are unbeaten in the two matches that have been played in this group phase. While about Braga, the truth is that Braga only got one win and one loss. Also, last season Scudetto winner Napoli was beaten by Real Madrid at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. So yeah, it's funny if you think Braga has the ability to beat Real Madrid or draw.

Braga is just a small team to real Madrid, so I believe that if Braga defeats them, it will be due to a mistake made elsewhere. Real Madrid's performance this season has been excellent in every league they have competed in, and you can even see that some of their injured players will soon be able to play again. Even if Braga may put on a strong show, I don't believe they can defeat real Madrid. If we look at Real Madrid's game against Napoli, we can see that Real Madrid can defeat any team in the Champions League this season.

Real Madrid's defence is very tight, and even in the first half of the game, real Madrid could even score two goals against Braga because I know  the type of attack all real Madrid players possess. All real Madrid players are players who can attack their opponents, and we also know that real Madrid is a team that has the mentality to win the champion league every season.

De Bruyne is a key player obviusly but i think Manchester City can sub him very well, in fact i really think this injury helped Manchester City thinking in the future of the team. Now they know they can play very good without him, so we can some news in the next summer transfers window.
Kevin has high-level game intelligence. Maybe Manchester City can replace him, but I don't know if they can be as productive as him. I think Manchester City should keep Kevin in their squad for a longer time. They can still benefit from it.
Bruyne has long term contract with manchester city. The club is really need him at this moment yet his injury is the problem now. There is currently no estimated time of arrival for his return from injury, and we eagerly await the opportunity to see him playing alongside Manchester City again.
There is a large number of individuals eagerly anticipating his return, however, even medical professionals are unable to provide a definite timeline for Kevin De Bruyne's comeback from his injury. Bruyne is not only producing a lot of goals but he was making a lot of assists as well.
Manchester city probably has a plan to extend his contract in the club. Bellingham, who is currently playing for Real Madrid, was being reminded to me by De Bruyne.
Bruyne is also having an instinct to play as good as striker in scoring the goals as well.
I've been keeping a careful eye on Manchester City, and there's no denying that the team's chemistry has been greatly affected by Kevin De Bruyne's injury. Even while some rumors said he might be gone for four months or so, its difficult to tell without a firm date. Its clear how the gameplay has changed since he left. Manchester City appeared more fluid and had a better creativity index while De Bruyne was on the field. They've made an effort to adjust, but I've noticed a discernible decline in their inventiveness. Even if Dani Olmo shows up after the winter transfer, I dont think he can fully replace what De Bruyne offers. He must step into enormous shoes. Regarding Rodri, if the Nottingham Forest game is any guide, the team may need to reconsider its plan till their star players return.
