The situations faced by Manchester City and PSG are both difficult. because these two teams really have to get full points in the last two matches in the current phase. If not, they will potentially not qualify for the Play-Offs. I don't know what happened to these two teams in the UCL. In fact, usually Manchester City and PSG can always go further quite easily without any significant difficulties. Even though PSG sometimes struggles, it's not as bad as this season. The new format really makes it difficult for these big teams.

If Manchester city fails in the UCL this season then perhaps Pep will remain safe. Because he also just made a contract extension for two seasons. And I'm sure one bad season won't get Pep fired. But consideration of firing him may be there but the possibility is small. But perhaps the current PSG coach, Luis Enrique, is in a difficult position. Compared to Manchester City i think PSG a bit better because at their domestic league PSG still consistent this because in Ligue 1 PSG is still dominate this league without get decent contender for race title but Manchester City a bit worse because in Premier league they have to hard struggle to reach top 4 even Manchester City is not strong contender anymore for the title but in Champion league their performance probably is equal and to qualified to the next round probably top 24 is the reasonable position for them

Speaking about Guardiola i don't think Manchester City owner will sack him if he failed to bring this team to the next round but it would be very embarrassing because at the beginning of season they were one of the favourites the same goes for Luis Enrique because i think his position as manager will remain secure in PSG and this match is so important for both teams because if one of them lost then most likely they will not be qualified

I initially thought Man City's performance will get better by the new year but I don't think much has changed. They have managed a couple of wins but we all saw how they allowed a 2 goal lead slip yesterday. That is not the performance of a team that is getting back in form. They are preparing a couple of signings and if they're lucky the players can mix well with the team quickly because they need to improve their performance if they want to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League and make it to the top 4 of the league.

PSG too is not any better. They've not lost a game this year, but they have not won any game comfortably so far. They always struggle. I believe Man City has a chance of winning that game but PSG are at home and that could be an advantage for them. Other than that, I think Man City will win despite their poor form.

Manchester City certainly needs better improvement in the Champions League match and visiting the Parc des Princes stadium is a big challenge for the Manchester City squad to show their best strength. Previously, both teams will first focus their energy on the domestic league before their meeting in the 7th round. Now that clubs are no longer afraid of them, they'll not have that exceptional performance anymore this season be it in English Premier league or in the Champions League.

For the fixture with PSG, I am not expecting much from Manchester city and in the same vein, the days when we expect PSG to pull surprises in the champions league are gone.

Next week's ucl match between Manchester City and PSG will be a tough one because no one wants to lose because anyone who loses will be in danger of being disqualified from the Champions League and not being able to advance to the next round. Guadiola is facing serious issues and they most get some fresh blood players in the team. because with out getting new players that is how they will be losing and drawing games this season. PSG is performing better in the league than Manchester City, but the competition is different, and the Premier League is stronger than the League One, so I will not compare them. I can't forecast their game because neither of them is in good shape, and anything can happen. We'll see how the game goes and who gets the three points.
