Liverpool seriously have lots on their hands to worry about because if we look at the players currently running out of contract I think they need to start considering strongly some replacements, players like Arnold, Van Dijk and Sallah who are all leaders are looking more like to leave with the Saga surrounding their future right now.

For Sallah the Saudi pro proposal is definitely looking juicy for him and considering his age he might want to actually look towards there, for most players it is usually the lifestyle there that hinders their move but that wouldn’t be a big problem for Sallah as his faith definitely fits him there. The likes of Van Dijk is he would be using his age to make his own decisions too and considering that he himself has won virtually every trophy then it wouldn’t surprise to see him too leave.

Arnold on the hand is the one I don’t likely see moving because he is a Liverpool kid Abi a potential captain if this two above leave, but considering that it is Madrid coming for his signature I wouldn’t be surprised to also see him jump the ship also. As for Luiz Diaz I don’t see him getting sold, he was on the market this summer due to Liverpool looking to raise money and him having a bad start to his career their but his season so far might be the reason he is looked upon to the future more

Sooner or later they have to look for alternatives to replace Salah but until now it cannot be denied that Salah still plays a very big role for Liverpool so I think there is no harm in trying to open talks for a shorter-term contract because his strength is still needed.

Unless indeed Livrepool wants to make another gamble just like when they recruited Slot as coach this season then indeed releasing him at the end of the season can still be done even though there will definitely be a lot of pros and cons about this.
Salah's age is 32 years old but his performance at Liverpool is still very vital especially for the problem of scoring goals so in this case there will be a lot of considerations like for Liverpool because after all everything that is done has a risk but I personally feel that they will still try to secure the services of this player at least for the next 1 or 2 seasons.

If Liverpool still hopes Salah to stay and offer a good contract extension, I think Salah will continue to stay in Liverpool. Even if Saudi teams try to sign salah and offer him with huge salary, I think Salah still wants to focus on playing in the top league in the world (EPL). It will be good for his career if he stays to play in the most competitive league.

I still don't see a rumor that Diaz will leave Liverpool? He still has a long contract, it is until June 30, 2027. I think Diaz will stay in Liverpool as long as he can play regularly. Diaz becomes an important player for Liverpool, he often contributed well. I think there is no reason that Liverpool will put him on the transfer list, too. Arne Slot has done great jobs so far, he also cares with the players. I never heard bad rumors about the relationship of the players with Arne Slots.

I think Liverpool may still wants Salah to remain with them next season, though they will be considering his replacement now and hope such player can really be consistent and be able to contribute for a long time on the team success like he has been doing. Luis Diaz has been among their best player this season and currently the main key in their attack, I hope he continue with his form for long.

In the aspect of Manchester City and Liverpool, City has been doing more better than Liverpool, especially these past two seasons where Liverpool has failed to be consistent notably last season where they're like the best team to win the EPL and possibly get the Europa league also but shockingly fell off in both, I don't know what this season in the Champions league holds for them, they make it to the quarter or semi  finals, depending how consistent they are and how severe the injury crisis they may suffer this season.

Yes, it is partly due to what we always see in any team, but the work that Klopp did is very big, he left a very well-armed team, minor problems are easy to solve, they already have a good base, and that is fundamental in a team, there are teams that have not been able to reach that balance, for example Chelsea, for me it is a team that lacks a lot, I don't know if players, coach, but honestly there are things that are difficult to see what is missing, that is why Liverpool has that great advantage and that Slot did not arrive with that arrogant attitude that does what he says and forget the work they did with Klopp.

While this is a great achievement for them at Bundesliga, this doesn't mean they are going to be great at UCL neither, we are not going to see similar stories in both competitions. I also think Leipzig isn't looking great at Bundesliga neither if you ask me, they had a good start but we do not know how they will continue, they could have a great future, or they could have a terrible one, we have no idea and we are not going to know until very late neither.

I believe they are not a good enough squad for UCL, they are looking like they are going to have some trouble in the future and because of this we are going to end up with a lot of issues as well. We know what we are going to face with, and because of this we are going to end up with some troubles as well. I believe the best thing to do right now would be making sure Leipzig betting stays strictly between them and lower level teams, then we can know they are going to probably win those games.

Salah stayed for this season luckily. However Liverpool wouldn't get this lucky next time. There have already been Saudi clubs going after him. You know how much one of them got close last summer. 

Not only Salah though. They might lose Diaz too as he was also speculated in the same transfer window. I mean there isn't such thing as they can't find anyone to replace them. But these players are literally the main goal sources. Liverpool will need to work hard surely. But for now, they don't need to worry. Arne Slot has started impressive. I hope to see his club being determined in the PL and CL both this season.

These two teams are not at the level to be in the Champions League at this time, but it is still a matter of pride for both Girona and Bologna to compete in the Champions League. Although it will be very difficult to qualify in the group stage, they will still play their matches to the maximum. Unlike Leverkusen, they have Alonso as a very competent coach. Plus, the players are quite qualified. However, Leverkusen also has a strong opposing team, Leverkusen has matches against Liverpool, Leipzig, Inter and ATM. The rest of the opposing teams seem to be able to be handled theoretically. Well, whether it's Girona, Bologna, or even Leverkusen, it doesn't guarantee that they will qualify for the Champions League play-off round. Because after all, if the final match brings together top team v top team or seeded team v seeded team, then any result is still possible, because the teams have equally good quality or have above average quality. So, even though at this moment there is a non-seeded team that managed to make good results, they still cannot guarantee to be able to maintain their position, because over time of course there will be a revival that is successfully  carried out by the seeded teams.

Yes, it is a fact that Salah is going to be substituted, but based on what we see we take into great consideration the things that are established with the team, for me he is still performing, I know that for next season they can renew the team, however many believe that City will make the difference again, but Liverpool are playing a lot, and I also see that Lucho Diaz is doing very well, he is playing very motivated and that helps the team a lot, I think that Klopp left the foundations well established for them, for me it is very difficult that if they play with a lot of order another team can beat them.

Real Madrid has a strong record in the Champions League, so they are among the favorites to win it this season. With Liverpool's current players, I don't think they'll perform well throughout the season, they managed to beat AC Milan and Bologna, but their performance against Bologna was poor. Bologna has been out of this competition for a while, and their performance is still poor, so I expected Liverpool to score three or four goals but they won with two goals against an opponent who has won just a single league game this season.

Furthermore, winning against Real Madrid doesn't mean that a team can win the Champions League. Since Real Madrid hasn't been playing well this season, does their loss to Lille in their last match mean that Lille can win the Champions League this season as well? Lille defeated Real Madrid, but they are not one of the teams that can win the Champions League this season. The match between Real Madrid and Liverpool is always difficult, and both teams will give it everything they have.

No team can be underestimated in the Champions League, but the favorite team can always be the favorite.
Favorite teams benefit from many factors, including squad depth and experience. The favored team can beat the favorite team, but this happens very rarely and only occasionally.

The underdog team could qualify for the round of 16 or the quarter-finals, but it takes more hard work to reach the semifinals and above. Favorite teams are more likely to be in the final than all underdog teams, in fact most of them will only end up in the playoffs or the last 16. But like you said, we'll see.

I would say Leverkusen shouldn't be compared to teams like Feyenoord and Girona. Feyenoord team is relatively weak. Girona's squad, on the other hand, was strong last season. But Girona's squad is not strong this season. And this is why we are seeing erratic and poor performances from Girona. Girona's performance in La Liga is also not strong. At the same time, Girona lost both of their Champions League matches.

Leverkusen have continued their excellent performance in Champions League matches so far. In the first match of the Champions League, the Leverkusen team managed to win against Feyenoord with a big margin of 4-0. In the second match, Leverkusen faced an experienced team like AC Milan. Leverkusen won this match 1-0. Leverkusen is expected to win easily against Brest in the next match.

Bologna and Girona performed very well last season. But these two teams are not that strong this season. Girona's squad was strong last season. But Girona have sold some of the best players in their squad. Had Artem Dovbyk been in Girona's squad, we might have seen a better performance from Girona this season. But this season the condition of this team is not good.

On the other hand, Leverkusen's performance may be a bit erratic, but this team is still strong enough. I would even say that Leverkusen have the ability to score points against big teams. Leverkusen have a number of talented players in their squad. Also Leverkusen's coach Xabi Alonso is an excellent coach. Leverkusen dominated the Bundesliga last season thanks to Alonso's excellent match tactics.

Bayer Leverkusen is quite better than Girona and feyenoord put together in terms of performance and results this season, Girona are first timers in the champions league and are not used to playing in this kind of competition whereas Feyenoord have not been frequent in the competition as a result of their shortcomings due to their failure to qualify for the tournament, though Bayer Leverkusen also had similar issues but not until they contracted the Spanish coach who came in turned things around and now they have reclaimed back their status as one of Europe's elite club and haven't really disappointed the fans yet on their quest to conquer Europe just as they did in the German bundesliga and I won't be surprised if that happens because in football a lot of miracles do happen.

Newcomer clubs cannot be underestimated, that's true but most of them are no more than memecoins that just follow the hype. I don't believe in them as underdog teams because every season there will be one of the many clubs competing. If Atalanta is used as an example, maybe this season there will be a team name that will be an underdog like Brest. This club from France got a total of 6 points because they were able to win against two teams by scoring 6 goals.

Apart from Brest, there are still other teams that are not considered that might be able to follow the teams that were once underdogs in the following seasons. Rather than guessing, it's better to just follow who they are with the new format.

We are seeing a very good game from Liverpool after a while now. Maintaining the first position on the league standings and also showing that big performance in the champions league has been a while we witnessed such from them. Liverpool use to be a big team in the champions league and they’ve for long now not being able to show that big performance again ever since they won the champions league trophy some years back. With the new coach on board now, he has proven to be someone they can reckon on to go far and make some success in the team. He has not been showing that negative energy of not being able to make the team go far, so he should be seen as a potential vice that will bring trophies to the team this season. It won’t be an easy work for him but I think he can do well with the team and bring good records back to the team even though he won’t win it this first season.

It is somehoe complicated for most clubs, if not all of them in UCL due to the new format, but that will only be a problem to these clubs in the group stage, after this stage the qualifers will be able to use whatever strategy they plan using to win their opponents in the round of 16 and so on, because the rest match will be played home and away. This is why you are seeing a big club been defeated by a mediocre club, and you should expect such in group stage. Girona will not survive the group stage, and if they do, round of 16 will be the end for them because they don't have the morale and players to go far.

This season, Bologna is better because the way we expected Girona to perform both in the Champions League and the Laliga is a bit higher than the performance we are seeing from them, they now completely unpredictable due to their inconsistent performance even in the Laliga and Girona is yet to get a single point in the champions leagues so far. Bologna was able to play a draw against Shakhtar to get one point, but I don’t think any of them is going far because I am expecting them to be dropped from this group stage.

Yes, despite Leverkusen’s inconsistency in all competitions, they can make it to the next round of the competition, but we should stop expecting much from them because they can disappoint, unless if they sign more players to get squad depth if not, injuries will also affect them before the end of the season.

Maybe Girona looks more favored than Bologna, but in terms of tactics and defensive game patterns, it can be questioned. Bologna can provide a surprise, but it all depends on how Girona considers this match important or not, because in terms of quality, both clubs are equally strong. We know that Bologna is a new challenger in the Champions League this season, but do not underestimate your opponent because only on the field determines the final result of the match, Bologna is a club that is able to defeat opponents with dangerous play, so you have to be aware of some of the players that Bologna has, even though they are no longer handled by Thiago Motta, but their strength is still there until now.
