The hype on Turkey teams is real right ? I mean , the way Turkey played at Euro it's no coincidence that people and bettors started to realize that teams from Turkey championship have real potential to actually make a great impression in European competitions. It's also been a while since we had Turk teams playing at the highest stage in Europe and this year both Fener and Galata have a real chance to qualify either in UCL or Europa League.  Cool
The quality of football in a the league of any football nation most times manifest in the performance of the national team so I'm not surprised that Turkey did had a great performance in the recently concluded European Championship because football in the country's league have significantly improved. Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray failed to win or at least secure a draw in the UEFA Champions League qualifying game against Swiss club Young Boys but I think they have all it takes to turn the tie around and find a way to progress to the finals of the competition when they host Young Boys in the second leg next season

Football is growing where there are many players who are starting to become the center of attention. Turkey has progressed in football and their national team has managed to steal the world's attention in the Euro competition. Clubs in Turkey such as Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are indeed regulars in the Champions League and their strength can also be said to be very good because they are able to compete with other European clubs. Although in the end they failed to advance to the next round after entering the round of 16

Both teams will remain regulars in the Champions League because both are representatives of clubs there. It remains to be seen how they recruit some foreign players for the needs of the team so that the competition when facing the Champions League will be stronger and more solid.

LOSC's victory in the first leg of the play-off round will make it easier for them to advance to the Champions League to fill the vacant place. They only need to get a draw or if they lose, as long as it is not more than 1 goal they will still qualify.
However, they must be careful with Slavia Prague because I am sure they will appear aggressive in the match in the second leg later. LOSC can apply a defensive strategy, but that is also quite risky if their concentration is not created very well. I myself predict that LOSC will be one of the representatives of Ligue 1 in the Champions League this season.
Lille have one foot in the Champions League now and are only one step away from qualifying for the Champions League if in the second leg they are still able to maintain their aggregate advantage over Slavia Prague, Lille who in the first leg managed to dominate the match, was able to prevent them from concedind although Slavia actually Prague is also able to create a lot of pressure on Lille's defense, even though currently Lille has a 2-0 aggregate lead over Slavia Prague, Lille should not try to maintain this victory by staying at Slavia home later, because after all this will allow Slavia Prague to created lots of opportunities to score goals in the second leg, and I think Lille must continue to play impressively by continuing to attack to at least get a goal in the match for their can secure victory.

Galatasaray definitely disappointed me a lot, I lost a parlay because of them, looked like it was an easy win for them on paper, definitely not something I expected at all, sad to see this.

In the end, it is champions league and getting in isn't easy, all of these teams look to get in. Remember Young Boys have been doing TERRIBLE all season long but it's been like maybe a month or so since it started, whereas they have been champions last season, which means that they are normally not a bad team, they are a great team that had just a bad period that's it.

This is why I honestly expect them to be a good team, it's just that they are not on a momentum and I believe that we are going to see them play worse at Galatasaray.

I think it wasn't that easy of a win for them on paper. It was the first leg of the match, and it was a home match for Young Boys. They are not the best team out there for sure, but you can't really write them off just like that. Galatasaray have good players for sure, but no game in football is certain. The funny thing is, the game finished with a controversial penalty. And if Galatasaray puts a solid performance in the home match in the second leg, things may turn around for their benefit.

If not for Ugrinic's controversial penalty, the game would have ended in a 2-2 draw, and things wouldn't seem as bad as it seems now. A lot to find out in the return fixture.

The second leg match will be a deciding match for both teams, for the young boys the second leg journey will be very difficult considering that they only won with a very small aggregate of goals so like it or not they have to be able to at least score a goal at home to Galatasaray even though it will be very difficult, Galatasaray is is a big team in Turkey and is famous for its awesomeness when opposing teams play at their home ground, so that is why it is very important for young boys to prepare themselves mentally well before visiting Galatasaray home, trailing by a score of 2-3 is not something that makes Galatasaray lose their chance to qualify for the champions league, because after all they only need two goals without conceding to ensure galatasaray qualify for the champions league this season and represent Turkey in European competitions.
I think Galatasary might be able to turn things around from the fact that the first leg was away at Young boys home ground and also possibly because of the late red card.

M. Batshuayi getting 2 goals coming from the bench would have been a momentum for them to get a winning goal or at least draw if not for the red card, I'm impressed by his performance and I hope he can replicate same form in the second leg.
I expect  much more from Galatasaray in their home ground  and so I think they will still qualify for the champions league.
Galatasaray would not be losing if it were getting good refereeing. They performed equally against Young Boys. The problem is, the referee was awful, especially for giving Young Boys a penalty at the end of the game. It's really unacceptable to see how the referee was ruining our chance to get an advantage in an away game.

The penalty made Batshuayi's goals useless. We're down by 1 goal for the second leg, but still, that's unacceptable. Lastly, I hope for a better referee. Also, minor changes in our forwards and defenders will help us qualify for the UCL.

Young Boys managed to capitalize on their home game with a win, a result that is very good for them to start the match in the second leg. Young Boys players played a bit less well in the second half, Galatasaray managed to equalize before the home team managed to secure victory after the referee awarded them a penalty. Galatasaray still have a chance to turn things around when Young Boys visit their home base, they just need to step up their attack to get a goal in the first half. The defensive area needs to be tightly closed because Young Boys also wants to steal a goal at their home base, but if the Young Boys players are able to keep the score level, then they are entitled to advance to the next phase.
Galatasaray will definitely try to turn things around in the second leg which will take place at their home base although it might not be easy enough for Galatasaray. However, there is no other choice for Galatasaray other than to beat Young Boys with a better aggregate because I am also quite sure that Young Boys themselves will definitely try to score another goal at Galatasaray's headquarters because now Young Boys only have one aggregate lead based on the score in the first leg when Young Boys played at their home.

Galatasaray's defeat against Young Boys was by no means expected. I thought that since it was Galatasray's away match, the match was likely to be a draw. But Galatasaray lost the match 3-2. Luck was not with galatasray. This is why the team lost the match 3-2. In fact, the performance of Galatasaray players was very good in the whole match. Galatasaray's players also attacked more than Young Boys. Galatasaray made a total of 21 shots, 8 of which were on target.

The next match against Young Boys is Galatasaray's home match. There is no doubt that Galatasaray is stronger at home. However, since Galatasaray lost the first match, winning by more than 2 goals in the second leg will not be easy. Young BOys will want to draw the match. And in the last match we saw that Young Boys defense is strong enough. So if Young Boys play completely defensively in the second leg, Galatasaray's road to Champions League qualification is going to be more difficult.

It seems that our expectations were too high for Dynamo Kyiv and in the end Salzburg embarrassed them in front of their fans. Although this is still the first leg, it is very difficult to imagine how Dynamo Kyiv can make a comeback in the second leg which will be held at Salzburg's home ground and maybe we can't put high hopes on the Ukrainian team.

In fact, at first we were very impressed when Dynamo Kyiv managed to eliminate Rangers in the previous round and maybe they were too confident when they were favored. On the other hand, Salzburg doesn't need to work hard because a draw or a narrow win is enough to get them through to the next round and that is a definite guarantee as long as they don't make small mistakes.

Young boys prove they are young and have got that young strength indeed, lol. The scorelines shows there was a battle and both teams literally tried to get a victory in game but one other team got lucky over the other. I was hoping at some point that Galatasaray was going to get a draw but it turned out they lost tho they tried their best and they really did performed brilliantly, I have always  been of the opinion that untill the game is over never conclude about the result already while they are playing because Galatasaray was looking like they were going to get better.

Galatasaray lost 3-2 to Young Boys, who are bottom of the league and winless, and left the round at home.Galatasaray conceded a goal in the opening minutes and closed the first half 2-0 down with a goal in the dying minutes. In the second half, Batshuayi scored 2 goals in 6 minutes immediately after entering the game and tied the match. In the last minutes, Young Boys managed to win with a penalty goal.Galatasaray made the round a little difficult, but the potential to defeat their opponent at home is high.
It's very disappointing how Galatasaray was ruined by the ref for the penalty which is hitting the leg first. And i think this time the handball decision is based on the vibes now. I hope they're removing this trash rule as soon as possible. This is because it gave no certainty to the clearance of handball.

Also, the decision to give a second yellow was really shocking to me, too. Any decision in this game makes no sense to me at all.

I feel like Galatasaray with home court advantage and real grass, will have a much better chance and the results will definitely be much better for them without a doubt, they have the talent and the squad to destroy young boys, but if they fail then that would be because their individual talents are greater but their team chemistry isn't. All game long we saw the difference between talented players vs being a team, and being a team managed to beat the talented players 3-2.

A draining match and we can see that Galatasaray can be defeated by Young Boys with a dramatic victory. The goal chase was inevitable, especially in the second half, all players played so intensely to excel, but it felt like the host this time was still too strong to be defeated. Some important notes where both teams were almost balanced in all statistics made it very difficult for anyone to predict the outcome.

Galatasaray's hopes of at least holding a draw were dashed in this first leg after Ugrinic scored the winning goal in the 86th minute and this gave Young Boys more capital to be confident to play the second leg at Galatasaray's home later. I didn't bet on this match considering that I was still quite upset with what happened, but seeing Galatasaray fall was the right decision not to bet on them. Smiley
Young Boys shocked Galatasaray right out of the gate. Early on, falling 2-0? That is not an easy thing to accept. But hey, credit to Galatasaray for fighting back. Though its not perfect, 2-3 is far better than being blasted away. Now, lets talk strategy. Though I admire Okan , benching Batshuayi bothers me. That had me scratching my head. You have Icardi's deadly instinct and Batshuayi's intensity. Why not start them straight forwardly? Could have fundamentally altered the game's complexion.

Still, look; its not over yet. Istanbul awaits. That crowd is gonna be LOUD. In soccer, home field advantage is really significant; Galatasaray must make use of every bit of it. Thus, start with your best XI. Batshuayi, Icardi, lets go. This tie ends only when it ends. Remember in soccer that decisions taken off the field define the game more than just the players on it.

In my opinion, defeat in the first leg does not necessarily mean that Galatasaray chances of qualifying for the Champions League are destroyed, because after all they still have a second leg to avenge their defeat at home later, I personally am quite confident that Galatasaray in the second leg will be able to beat the young boys and qualify as the only team from Turkey playing in the Champions League this season.
A defeat with a score like that can still be said to have a chance because Galatasaray will definitely use all their abilities at home to be able to qualify for the Champions League this season because Galatasaray did not lose much in aggregate so they can still try in the second leg later. However, it should also be noted that every team will definitely use all their abilities when they play to be able to qualify for the Champions League and Galatasaray must not make fatal mistakes when playing at home in the second leg.

Let’s watch and see them because I wasn’t expecting them to be this poor. I expected something more than this from them, although the young boys were really doing well. I thought Galatasaray were going to be strong. However, let's wait and watch out their second leg match. We can’t conclude now since there is a second leg. Furthermore, you are right when you say they will be stronger when they know that will be their last chance, and if they do not use it well, they won’t qualify for the Champions League, which means by all means they will do everything in their power to see that they win.
On paper, Galatasaray certainly has a great chance to turn things around in the second leg, I think being 1 goal behind is not too difficult to catch up, especially if playing in front of their own supporters. In essence, the 3-2 defeat to Young Boys was a surprise, and it seems to have made many bettors suffer losses on the result. If you look at the match statistics, Galatasaray looks more dominant in many aspects, and in short, Young Boys was quite lucky because they got a penalty at the end of the second half.

On the other hand, Galatasaray is considered to have a more complete mentality and attributes to make a turnaround in performance, we can see their reputation last season which managed to trouble Man United. So far, Galatasaray has played well at the domestic level, and we hope they can also appear more consistent in the future in the Champions League. Okan Buruk must be more observant in determining his starting XI in the future, by fielding more experienced players from the start, I think Hakim Ziyech should have been played from the first half.

“Young Boys” just turned out to be much more experienced than Galatasaray in qualifying for the Euro Cup and Galatasaray was still lucky that Batshuayi was able to score 2 goals in the end and leave Galatasaray in the game and the difference in 1 goal Galatasaray is quite able to win back, the main thing is not to play as in defense as in the first match and then the chances of getting out of the playoffs will be.
Both teams play attacking soccer and watching their games is quite enjoyable, so I think the return match will be very interesting.
With the squad they have, Galatasaray should have been able to win this match, but they made a lot of mistakes, especially after their player got a red card which allowed Young Boys to take advantage of this opportunity. Galatasaray with a team like that, losing to a team like Young Boys is certainly very sad.

There are several weaknesses of Galatasaray that I think need to be fixed, namely the position of the defenders because they are very easy to pass by the opponent, and the midfielders must be more creative in building attacks. If this can be fixed in the near future, I am sure Galatasaray will win in Istanbul. Because when Galatasaray plays in front of their own supporters, the opponent will not be able to beat them easily in Istanbul. So I think they can definitely make a comeback.
This game me lose some cash because I don't know something just played in my head that Galatasaray would win that game looking at how young boys have being struggling in their league and even their form but that was all changed after the game yesterday although I won't lie that Galatasaray really played with so much error but on a general I think the victory was well deserved but it's now going to be test for them because they would play with all focus when they travel to turkey to seal the deal.
