Bodo/Glimt managed to defeat Red Star at home. Disappointed by the performance displayed by Galatasaray today. Defeat and also a red card. I know it is only the first leg and they are not out of the game yet but the chances of them getting out are pretty real. After their match against Konyaspor where their performance was mediocre, I knew they would be facing some problems against Young Boys. But I did not think they would lose though. I told at that time that they would be suffering if they kept up their mediocre performance that they did against Konyaspor.

The 2nd leg still remains and so does my opinion. If they keep up their mediocre performance like today’s they are going to be out of the Uefa Champions League. Galatasaray is a big sporting team and I don’t think they should be having problems conceding early. They need to have the fighting back mentality like Real Madrid, which they clearly lacked. Although they were able to come back into the game, they were defeated.

Mitchy Batshuayi was few minutes away from becoming the hero of his club's UEFA Champions League qualifying game against Swiss club Young Boys after coming on in the second half to score of the game to score two goals before he was denied by Ugrinic's late penalty. Young Boys is a team that often plays in the Champions League. Last season they failed in the group stage. One season later, namely the 2022/23 season, they were absent but in the 2021/22 season they also appeared in the Champions League although they also failed because they were only able to finish bottom of group f.

If they manage to beat Galasataray in Switzerland, their chances of qualifying for the 2024/25 Champions League season are not 100% yet as Young Boys need to visit Galasataray's home ground on August 28. Playing in Istanbul is a tough challenge for them as the winning score in Switzerland is very narrow.

The red card contributed to the loss, and it was a well-deserved victory for the Young Boys, they made their fans proud by winning that match in the last minutes of the game against a hyped team Galatasaray. Jose Mourinho's side will likely miss out on the Champions League next season because I don't see them having good results when Young Boys visit them at home they even struggled to level the score before the last goal, and the red card will also contribute.

Galatasaray will play better in the return match. The crowd support takes Galatasaray to a higher level. Galatasaray needs to be well prepared for the match in Istanbul to show its potential. Normally, Young Boys is one technical team from the Switzerland league that I admire so much and their winning against Galatasaray didn't came as a surprise to me because they were basically playing at their home ground so if they can't defend at home how can they play while at away so the only opportunity they have was to try and win at their home. I like the way Young Boys managed the first half after scoring two goals but they were a bit lazy in the second half which made Galatasaray to equalize the two goals Young Boys scored in the first half but in the second half Galatasaray was super stronger just that the red card they got in the 84th minute affected the team that was why the Young Boys got the opportunity to score in the 86th minutes and won.
Young Boys needs to prepare very well in the second leg because Galatasaray may retaliate this defeat when Young Boys meet them at their own ground.

An interesting match from both teams but one goal was able to make the difference between the two team and we saw how Young boys performed brilliantly and tirelessly to make sure that they get all three points. I never expect such performance from them.

Galaxatary played their best but it was not enough to give them a draw in the match because Young boys were not after drawing the match but to win it and their dreams was achieved. I hope to see a better performance from Galaxatary in their second leg.

it took me a while to post here because I was still trying to come to terms with the mistake I made when I bet on Midtjylland. I'm really mad at Midtjylland. I bet on them accidentally and I'm pissed because I didn't cancel the bet and went back to betting without placing Midtjylland. Midtjylland was seen as the favorite to win the game against SK Slovan Bratislava. The odds weren't that great either. I had placed the 4 games from yesterday, but I wanted to remove Midtjylland. It turns out that I went out for a while and left the computer on. When I came back, I just clicked on bet. Only after I had placed the bet and the game had already finished halfway did I realize that I hadn't removed Midtjylland. Unfortunately, Midtjylland ruined my bet with this draw.

Turkish teams have not been doing well in European competitions, which is why I have avoided betting on Turkish teams when they are games outside of Turkey. I have doubts that Galatasaray will be able to win the 2nd leg, but I will not bet on the 2nd leg games because there have been many more surprises compared to the 1st leg games.

I think so many people placed a bet on both teams to score for the Dynamo Kiev - Salzburg match. Because it looked really obvious but the result was very unexpected. Not scoring even a goal in a home match? It is terrible considering how productive they have been so far. Sad
