A heavy defeat at home to the Bundesliga representatives is one of the signs that Feyenoord is having problems, 4-0 is not good for a team of the Eredivisie class. I don't expect much from the Dutch League representatives in the UCL this season, their performance is too bad.

Barcelona really played outside their plan. Because they were forced to face Monaco by relying on only 10 players. Hansi Flick really cannot be blamed for Barcelona's defeat in that match. We have a problem when it comes to trusting all this clubs just because any can happen in any game take example of what happened yesterday during the game im fact Monaco scored first followed by Barcelona and they even got a red card then I already knew that Barcelona have lost this game their is nothing they would have been able to do, because of the red card and people thought that flick might be able to come up with a better way to play during the second half and their is no magic that would have been able to perform, even Barcelona did not believe what happened, I was not happy when Erick was flagged red card because Monaco is not a kind of club that Barcelona would have been able to control during the game but what they did is not still bad at least they tried just that they could not stop them.

And they were driving by their previous goals but even how far that Barcelona have gone is a good game, they keep getting results, despite the ongoing situation and now they will have that feel of playing more careful next time because it is tough, and everyone is just waiting for real Madrid and that is when the real game will actually start because of Madrid play and this alone will even make the la Liga and the Champions League more interesting to watch just because of how they become when both of them are in form.

Frankly, Arsenal would have been defeated like Barcelona. Atalanta was last year's European league champion and they look dangerous this year as well.

Barcelona defeat certainly surprised all of us at the moment because they were the favorite team in the match, actually Barcelona started the match well but I think, lose one player in a match of course it would make their game unstable, losing Garcia at the beginning of the match was obviously the main factor in Barcelona defeat in that match because I saw that even though Barcelona played with 10 players, they were still able to keep up with Monaco game throughout the match, it was actually quite lucky for Monaco to be able to maintain their victory if you look at the intensity of Barcelona's attack that increased towards the end of the match, to be honest, although Monaco may has known the weaknesses that Barcelona have, but if Barcelona had played with a full squad in the match then we might have seen a different result in end of the match,But despite all the reasons that exist, of course, the result of the match must make Barcelona even better in their next match in champions league.  

Opponents are the next thing to be worried about in the UEFA Champions League. Bayer Leverkusen is elite club and they will know their roots in epic form. No doubt their current schedule is good for them which will give them good time for having some good adjustment which will be helpful for them to have their chances for going into top spots even I am sure they are having not good chances for going into top eight clubs but still things will be good for them to stay into better position with their quality and consistency.

In practice, that is a good strategy to apply when a coach realizes that the opponent's strength is better than the strength of his own team. But I always hope that big matches feature open play with several goals scored by both teams, but this didn't really happen in the Manchester City vs Inter match.  Manchester City dominated possession of the ball by being dominant in building attacks, but they were less fortunate in exploiting opportunities even though they had 22 shots throughout the match.

I also have the same thought. Personally, I don't see Monaco as an average club because they are in the champions league. An average club will not qualify to UCL, for you to know that they are good was the tactics that they used to overpower Barcelona with one man down.

If Barcelona were deperate to win this match Gracia will not make an expensive mistake which cost them losing the match. Monaco deserves the victory because Barcelona started with 11 players but due to careless decisions by Gracia made them 10 men.

I was expecting that Manchester City  football team will win by 2-0 but we saw a different match and match was ended with no result and both teams got 1,1 point. But I didn't impressed by that kind of match and I want more goals and more shots but we watched very less shots and we saw very less shots on target. Man City team could not do single goal in this match due to best defenders of Inter Milan team and they focused on only to stop the ball. The shots of Manchester City were 22 and their shots on target were 5 and in comparison, the Inter Milan team shorts were less and their passes were also less but they became successful to draw this match because he decided to draw this match. If Inter Milan team would try to win this match, they could lose this match.

We have seen Barcelona do well in every match in La Liga but whenever they come up against teams that are relatively easier than them in the Champions League, they do poorly. Monaco is not a stronger team than Barcelona at all and Barcelona should have won against this opponent. When it comes to the Champions League, Barcelona are usually seen on the opposite side of Real Madrid.  

Like Real Madrid always do well in Champions League matches and even if they don't have quality players in their squad, they perform well in Champions League but not so with Barcelona. While Barcelona performed well in La Liga, they did poorly in the Champions League against weaker opponents. They had a poor performance in the opening match of the Champions League, maybe this is how they will end their Champions League journey.

The expected entertaining match ended up being one-sided after the referee sent off Eric Garcia with a red card. The game is clearly no longer balanced when one team plays with an incomplete squad, but Barcelona still managed to give their best despite having to accept defeat from Monaco. Playing at home really made Monaco perform well, they were really good and this victory was worth celebrating. So in the end Barcelona had to accept their first defeat which ruined Hansi Flick's good record with 5 consecutive wins.

This defeat started from Eric Garcia's careless mistake in fouling Takumi Minamino and therefore Monaco appeared more aggressive with the advantage in number of players. Hansi Flick's strategy change after Garcia's red card was initially good because Barcelona was also able to score an equalizer through Lamine Yamal's goal, but again Barcelona had to concede a goal due to a mistake in the back line when George Ilenikhena escaped the offside trap. There must be an improvement in the next match, of course Barcelona cannot lose 2 times in a row if they want to secure a ticket to the last 16.

It was a real surprise. I am not underestimating Monaco but Barcelona is a team on a level above Monaco. Almost everyone thought Barcelona would be able to win this match. Or if Barca played badly they would get a draw. The match was going well and Barcelona were dominating the match. But the red card received by Eric Garcia in the 10th minute changed the match significantly. Playing with 11 vs 10 made Monaco play aggressively using the man advantage. And Monaco managed to play well and won the match 2-1. This is not a good result for Barcelona. But there are still a few more matches and I am sure they will get a win soon.

Barcelona couldn't do well because of the red card given to Garcia in the early minutes of the match; if not for the red card, you and I know that Barcelona wouldn't have suffered their first defeat under the watch of Hansi Flick as Barcelona managed.
The 2-1 yesterday defeat of Barcelona by Monaco was quite surprising. The defeat was unexpected based on how the Barcelona team has built the formation of their team since the start of the season without losing any single match in Laliga. Nevertheless, it's a well-deserved victory for Monaco; let them be this lucky to have an away win match against Dinamo Zegra as they have to face them next, while Barcelona will do their best to make sure they win young boys in their next Champions League match on October 1.  

I totally disagree with you for calling Monaco a normal team. we have many great talents. we have known for producing top footballers.

In fact, Monaco beat Barcelona. we successfully exposed Barcelona (flickball) main weakness. they were using high-lane defense due to their aggressive tactics. And they ran into problems against fast-paced offensive players owned by us.

Also, they should have played 10 vs 11 after Eric got a red card. Playing with fewer players is always hard against a full team.

It showed how a club like Monaco can't be underrated.

Barcelona were strong enough to have win in this game with Monaco is another mediocre club from French Ligue 1 which is not capable of having any challenge for them, but early red card to Eric Garcia completely change the match even we have good performance from the Yamal and Barcelona but in second half we have nothing special from them which let them down and out of the match which is huge upset for their fans.

New format is surely going to be interesting with things are still favourable for Barcelona to recover from this defeat and having better results in coming matches but now as we have to watch them in coming games how they will be handled this and having better results for going through into top 8 because in other case they have to go for the qualification which is also not challenge for them, but they have to learn from their mistakes.
