I think any team that tries to underestimate Atalanta will be disappointed because they are full of surprises, Atalanta is the current champions of Europa League last season after defeating the team that was seen as the favorite to win the competition and this season Atalanta is among the SeriaA teams playing in the champions league. They may not have started very well in their domestic league but you can not compare their performance in the champions League competition and that of their league because they wouldn't want to disappoint their fans by not performing well in the group stages.

Atalanta may not be seen as the favourite in the champions league competition but it takes a good performance for the chances of the team to win the league to be increased so if Atalanta shows good performance in the league it won't take time for their chances of winning the champions League be increased.

As expected, after a pretty bad start of the season, the odds makers don't have faith in Milan being able to defeat Liverpool even considering home advantage.
But who knows, maybe it's a good betting opportunity. For a double-chance bet (1X) you can now get x1.83.
It's worth to remind that AC Milan has a new manager, Paulo Fonseca, and maybe the poor start is just due to the time it take for the team to adjust to new style etc.
Milan is playing a potentially easy game against Venezia on Saturday. If they win it easily, their confidence might grow and the odds will probably get adjusted, so maybe it's worth to take the risk and place a bet before the weekend.

Well I remember the last time they actually came to the champions league they really performed poorly resulting to their poor exit and I don't think they can make any positive effect for now because their game play hasn't improved that much and just like you said the teams in the champions league are no joke I mean these guys aren't actually playing and they are in it for the competition and I don't see Atlanta going that far.

Liverpool have good record on AC Milan in the past and currently, they’re still in a good position to win them even when they meet head to head. The champions league is a very competitive competition and a mediocre team does not always survive in the long run except those that have that resilience and will to fight back at all cost. AC Milan won’t be a problem to Liverpool even though they’re not a mediocre team, they can’t stand a chance against Arne Slot’s Liverpool.
