Expectations are high for Mbappe. I am sure he will experience a lot of goal celebrations in La Liga. There are many players in the back who will feed him. I think Mbappe can finish the season with close to 30 goals after these players feed him well. I congratulate President Perez for crowning the great squad in Real Madrid with the best. Mbappe will play exceptionally in this team.

From yesterday's game I don't think their is anything to doubt about Mbappé  performance the boy did a great job yesterday aside the attempts he also scored next season Theit is going to be a lot of show, Mbappé came prepared  playing for Real Madrid he wants to build his name. And he is already doing it, Mbappé is already clear a lot of people and even me whether he will perform well or not but yesterdays game was already convincing, he has Vinicius junior that is not a selfish player that will always give good assistance also, Mbappé might even do more than we think because from the look of things that boy is ready to work. Am beginning to love him now he was looking all calm even when he scored. He also as a lot of young players to also support him when ever their is a game, that is what young players need they need good support when they are playing, so that they will not get overwhelmed by to much pressure.
The best decision of Mbappe's career is to leave PSG and join Real Madrid. This one right decision will take his career to a different level. Mbappé has been at PSG for a long time and he has scored more goals than PSG so far but he has not won the Ballon d'Or and he has not had any notable achievements but as soon as he came to Real Madrid he played in the finals of a major tournament, scored goals and won trophies. Real Madrid have enough experienced players to support him so his job will be to finish only which he can do very well. The two major competitions in Europe are the Champions League and the Europa League, and the popular teams in these two leagues are Real Madrid and Manchester United.

It was certainly an excellent decision for him to leave Paris. San German was an unstimulating environment and for him I think it was also a little toxic. Let's say that if he would have gone to Real Madrid first he would certainly have already won some Champions League and also a Ballon d'Or.
If Mbappe had arrived at Real Madrid two or three seasons from now, he would have already had a Ballon d'our to his name by now, but he didn't, but he's definitely made a good decision for his career, even if it's late. There is still a long way to go and if he can play well then he can paint his career very well. There are few players like Mbappe in Europe now, so Mbappe will have the best chance of winning the Ballon d'Or alone in the coming seasons.

Real Madrid's players are leading the race to win the Ballon d'Or this season and we will see a repeat of the same in the coming seasons. Real Madrid have had their best times behind them and even better times await them. Now with the team they have built, they will single-handedly dominate Europe.

I've already stick to an elite club, Real Madrid, they won the UEFA Champions title previous season, this season is no exception for them. They're the best club although they shared points on their first matchday with Mallorca. This is mere setback and they will get over it with appropriate time. Carlo Ancelotti and the rest of his squad will make crucial planning for the steady improvement of the club. Patiently waiting for the draw in the UEFA Champions League which will be very tough.

Starting the season with a point shared doesn’t mean that they won’t go well in that season. After all, football is a game of luck and experience, sometimes one of them work for you and sometimes both of them do, the end goal is that you shouldn’t lose the match or get eliminated from the competition. Real Madrid is still the best team in the La Liga and still stand the best chance to win the La Liga trophy and also the champions league. This is not even a set back to me because we are still in the first week and the point differences won’t be that large until we get to mid seasons before we begin to see the best teams for the season.

I don't even believe the final result of the Mallorca vs Real Madrid match because if you compare the strength of the two teams, of course Real Madrid is very strong but they failed to secure full points in today's match. I saw the struggle of Ancelotti's men in this match because they managed to play quite well because they were able to dominate 67% of ball possession and shoot 13 times.

However, this did not make them successful in stealing points in the away match because the hosts were able to play well in the second half. One red card also decorated this match because Mendy had to leave the field in the final minutes of the match. I saw the look on Mbappe's face who was so frustrated in this match because he failed to show his best quality to score a goal in his first match this season.

That red card came at the close of the game — 90 +7 minutes iirc. Everybody had high hopes for this real Madrid team after their strong 2-0 super cup victory over Atalanta last week. I was hoping they will build on that win and get a win on opening game seeing that Barcelona already won their game. Well, my point is that, if a team like Mallorca can hold off Madrid's attack, there's a pretty good chance that teams in the UCL will be able to do so especially in the upcoming league phase that starts in the next couple of weeks.

Looks like it's not all sunshine and rainbows as we all expected. I'll be here for it.

I just saw Real Madrid's "elite" team get held to a 1-1 draw in their first La Liga game. A few weeks ago, everyone was so sure that this Madrid team will destroy any and all teams that go against them especially in the champions league but here we have a tier 3 team giving them a run for their money. If Mallorca can give them some heat, I'm pretty sure teams in the UCL will do much more. Let's hope it's not a case of Deja vu remembering that Messi + Mbappe + Neymar couldn't shake teams the way we expected them to. We'll know in the next few weeks.

When a new season starts and when different teams play a few matches in the beginning we get an idea about different teams and accordingly predict a team that this team can reach this level this season but everything can be said about Real Madrid. It's not just that Real Madrid have strengthened their squad this season, they always focus on strengthening their squad in all aspects. And the most important thing is that Real Madrid has consistency and each player has a good understanding with each player which is why they are successful in almost every match and they will be successful in the next season.

Let us not get too carried away by those odds, it is basically what the book makers have predicted but it doesn’t mean it will turn out to be so at the end of the season. The defending champions are suppose the be on top of the rating before subsequent teams but seeing them coming second makes a lot of people ponder about this rating. Manchester City is very good and may be placed at the same level with Real Madrid but that’s doesn’t still mean they should be placed above the current record holder. When the new season begins, a lot of things will unfold which I believe we will get to know if the prediction of the book makers is actually how the season is going to end or they’ll be a slight change in the position of each team.

I will not be surprised if anyone continues to say that Real Madrid has better and more perfect players without worrying about the lack of players.
Although previously strengthened by Toni Kross and now he has retired, Mbappe has become a very reliable player assisted by other professional players such as Vinicius JR and Rodrygo who are ready to contribute together to be able to bring home the UCL title again this season.
I can't imagine what it would be like if Kross had not retired, Real Madrid would definitely be stronger.
As long as Ancelotti can still maintain the club's consistent performance, Madrid never feels difficult if no one is injured.
Ancelotti's job is also to maintain the current players' physical condition to avoid injury to the main players.

I was actually very convinced that Real Madrid were the top favourites and would definitely win the Champions League, but after the last game between Real and Atalanta I'm not so sure anymore. They have very strong individual players but as a team they don't yet harmonise as a CL winner should. Maybe Ancelotti will manage to get the team to play better together. Otherwise it doesn't look so good if the team plays like it did against Atalanta.
There are still some things that need to be improved, especially in terms of possession for Madrid. It's not wrong to see them as the current leaders but if you look at Atalanta's match against Madrid a few days ago, I actually realize that there are some things that Madrid must improve, such as when there are some players who still take too long to hold the ball and try to show off their individual skills or some conditions that occur when they lose the ball quite easily even though they can get it back.

With the complexity of the current squad and the above-average skills of Madrid's young players, there are bound to be situations where egos can become much bigger and Ancelotti still needs to work on eroding them into a unified whole. Last season they managed to do it where Ancelotti managed to restrain the egos of their young players but this season it will certainly be a little more difficult because there will certainly be the assumption that they want to highlight their performance as individuals not as a team.

Definitely it won't be a thing of surprise that a team with the least expectation eventually gets to win Madrid in cause of the game fixtures in rhw champions league but one thing I know for sure is that such a team will not be able to stop Madrid from winning thw champions League, they are definitely not going to be the reason Madrid shouldn't lift the trophy, this isn't a prediction anyways but it's just a high probability taught I believe Madrid will be able to pull literally. Manchester City is another big shot too in the champions league I've got big focus on these big two as to what they can achieve.
It makes sense in my opinion that many users place Real Madrid as the main favorite in the Champions League compared to other contestants. Manchester City is always the favorite every season, but their performance is not as stable as expected so so far Manchester City has only been able to win 1 title.

Real Madrid's quality of play has been tested, their mentality is also strong, it is very different from other teams. Sometimes Real Madrid is also unlucky in some matches, but when they advance to the higher stages, Real Madrid will be very difficult to beat. What I say is evident from the number of finals they have won to date.

The hype for the Real Madrid team is there and as they signed Mbappe, the hype goes up because he is a special player that really have something special to add to their squad and he will also gain from the team because he wasn’t able to win any European competitions and with just one match he has won the UEFA Super Cup.

Their performance was not impressive that day because I wasn’t expecting Madrid to end up with such result, but when I gave it a second thought, I remember how final is always tough and no team should be underrated because a slice mistake can cost you the title.

Talking about Madrid been the favorites, yes they have the quality to maintain the favorites but I think the manager needs to put extra effort towards achieving that because the Champions League will be very tough this time.

Madrid been the favorite team to win the Laliga title have started their first Laliga match, and so far, they are playing a 1-1 draw against Mallorca; I hope they will be able to win the match because conceding a goal is not good for them.

We can not tell who will emerge as the Champions League winner this time around, but odds keep resting on Manchester City with Madrid being the strongest opposer. Just as other leagues are kicking off we get to see more from various teams, on how they perform then can we grade their chances accordingly. Madrid are definitely going to loose some of their games, it might be that team less likely the favourite to defeat Madrid, football has been a game of professionalism and luck involved.

I don't understand what you didn't like - a dry 2-0 victory in a game for which there was no special preparation (since no one will sacrifice the season for the Super Cup). The fact that players show themselves individually is, on the contrary, an indicator of how well the coach works - for example, compare Bellingham's performance in the national team and in Real Madrid. They are two different people  Grin

If you think Real Madrid's squad lacked harmony in the UEFA Super Cup final against Atalanta, but in reality Real Madrid won anyway, right? So, you can't imagine, when Real Madrid are not harmonious, but they can still win with clean sheets and then, what if Real Madrid have good harmony, then of course the result will be better. I don't think that's a problem because, if you realize that Real Madrid have always had great individual players in their squad,  but in reality Real Madrid have always managed to suppress their egos and still produce good results for Real Madrid.

At least I'm surprised, because the fact that there are still people who doubt Real Madrid and the reason is just about harmony, because the fact has long been that Real Madrid has always had many star players in the squad but they are fine. But indeed, getting trophies isn't going to be easy at all  but when it comes to Real Madrid, they always have a chance of getting trophies.

It's clear that Real Madrid should be the most likely to defend their trophy. But, as you said, it's weird they got second, not first. Prob Pep's factor is the reason why we're still seeing City at the first place. Also, the funny thing is that Arsenal is more favored. They have smaller odds than Munich, which beat them last season. But the only acceptable reason is probably due to the new coach of Bayern Munich. Still, this looks so strange.
All of that can still change when the season starts because for me it is also not right to put Real Madrid in second place after what Real Madrid achieved last season and also with the current Real Madrid squad. If it is because Pep is still coaching Manchester City, I think it is also not wrong if we consider Ancelotti as a good coach for Real Madrid so that every Real Madrid player is able to play the way he gives. We can see an example when Real Madrid beat Atalanta where in the first half Real Madrid did not play well enough, but in the second half everything changed and Madrid became a team that was able to win.
When a new season starts and when different teams play a few matches in the beginning we get an idea about different teams and accordingly predict a team that this team can reach this level this season but everything can be said about Real Madrid. Real Madrid is the world's best team, hands down. Their method is genius: they develop a powerful squad season after season and dominate La Liga and the Champions League. Its amazing to watch. Some may mention Manchester City or Arsenal, which are good teams. There are moments in their domestic leagues. The Champions League, the enormous platform, is too much for them. They break

Real Madrid differs there. They're distinguished by their mental toughness and killing instinct. They're usually favourites since they can adapt and surpass any challenge. Any club can benefit from a good group stage draw, but Real Madrid goes further. They're establishing a winning mindset and a team. To catch up, other clubs must learn that

I don't know if there would ever be a time where I would be so confident and so assured of a team winning almost every game just as the way you are citing it to be. Real Madrid are very good and will mostly likely win their games but not all the games and that's something am certain of but the problem now is you can't actually tell that time that the fuck up will come which is why luck is still tied to this.
It’s not possible for a team to win all their matches, no matter how strong the team is, they are going to lose or draw some matches. We know Real Madrid has a strong squad currently, and it’s going to be difficult for any club to defeat them currently, but just the way you said it, any fuckup can happen, an error can happen, which might make them lose the chances of winning the champions league next season. But if I am to predict who will be the  winner of the champions league for next season, then it should be between Manchester City and Real Madrid, because both of them has equal chances of winning it.

If anyone asks which team has the most perfect squad currently in the Champions League, of course Real Madrid is the only answer that is most appropriate in my opinion, but even so, of course we can't say they will be unbeatable this season both in La Liga and also the champions league, so far madrid has everything it takes for them to win the match but there will be unexpected factors which might later cause them to experience defeat, it cannot be denied that maybe luck and bad luck will be one of the factors that causes this defeat to occur, however In this case, the player  and the coach strategy mistakes will probably be the biggest reason for the defeat they might get.
Madrid will go through the season with high motivation after they won the UEFA Super Trophy, and actually I hope there will be another team that this season can provide tough resistance for against Madrid in the La Liga and Champions League.

It is pretty much the same for me - except Dinamo Zagreb.  Wink  I expect a surprise to happen. Qarabag look very determined. Dinamo Zagreb are of course a team with much bigger CL experience. But there is never a guaranteed result in football or any sports.

I look forward to my team's game 4 days later. We are playing away against Young Boys. I hope we will win in the 1st leg already. But considering the way Turkish teams start their CL journey, maybe we might see a draw first. But I expect no other result than eliminating them. By the way our big win at Old Trafford last season is still in my mind.  Roll Eyes

I agree with Qarabag. They have a realistic chance to tell the truth. Actually I doubt Lille as well although I said they would advance. I didn't like them against Fenerbahçe at all. Especially in the second leg they performed really poorly. But they were lucky that Fenerbahçe wasted those valuable chances. Slavia Prague are also a quite much experienced team in the Champions League. Maybe an upset could be seen.

A significant part of the teams we are talking about in playoff stage is likely to say an early goodbye in league phase. But they will still earn quite much money just for even participating in the phase which would be great for their finances.  Smiley

These are the 14 clubs that are in the final round to compete for the 7 remaining places in the Champions League. They will play 2 legs of the match which they must maximize very well if they want to be one of the competitors in the Champions League this season. They will also feel the transition from the old format to the new format applied in the Champions League. This must be tiring for them, because they have to continue to compete for the 7 remaining tickets.

It is also quite difficult to determine which clubs will succeed in advancing, because each club that will face each other can also be said to be balanced. Also, several matches bring together clubs that are used to being in the Champions League. In your opinion, which clubs will succeed in winning this match?
Maybe the headline of this qualifier is Zagreb vs Qarabag but seeing Young Boys vs Galatassaray is not something to be taken lightly. I think there are a lot of good teams here but the ones that catch my attention the most are those two games. I would have preferred to see Qarabag qualify but Zagreb will not let that happen. Moreover, as the host, Zagreb must secure a win in the first leg before playing the second leg at Qarabag's home.

Well, for Galatassaray it seems they will have no problem in the first leg and maybe if they find it difficult to win then they can aim for a draw first before going all out at home. I think Young Boys are still a strong opponent and regardless of the result I am looking forward to betting on this match and will fully support Galatassaray to steal the aggregate lead.

And the most important thing is that Real Madrid has consistency and each player has a good understanding with each player which is why they are successful in almost every match and they will be successful in the next season.
The description of the form of play is not only seen in the Champions League because there may be other factors such as consistency of play in the domestic league. Although sometimes that is not a guarantee for them to play well in the Champions League or vice versa for many teams. For example, Dortmund played not very consistently in the Bundesliga, but they managed to advance to the final round where they were ultimately defeated by Real Madrid. Likewise, Arsenal and Man City played quite consistently in the Premier League, but they failed in the Champions League.

There are many factors that make a team play more consistently, especially in the Champions League because the competition in that league is quite tight. Experience, mentality and players and coaches really determine how they are able to reach the end of the final as champions
I personally use the domestic league as the basis for considering whether a team can play well in the Champions League or not, at least their performance in the domestic league gives a little picture of how their game is, whether it is solid enough or not. Although there are many other factors that will greatly influence when they play in the Champions League, such as mentality. Because the pressure they will get in the Champions League will be much stronger than the domestic league they play in. We also often see a team struggling in the Champions League, even though they play well in the domestic league. There are also teams that play well in the Champions League even though they don't play that well in the domestic league. Sometimes the luck factor also has a big influence, not only in the game but also in the draw when they meet a strong team or not. Usually teams also hope that they will meet a team that is not strong enough to meet them in the first phase which we previously called the group stage.
