Indeed. No manager will stay forever, someday he must leave the team. When a new coach/manager comes, he must have some challenges. He needs to adapt with the players and the atmosphere of the competition. Sometimes it takes for more than 1 season to adapt well and manage the team in the right way. Choosing the right strategy/tactics must know the players first, it won't be easy and won't be in a short time. Even a coach is an experienced person, it won't be an instant process to adapt with a new team.

It's true, of course there will be no coach who will last forever. There will definitely be a time when a coach who has stopped will definitely leave. Of course, when a new coach comes, it requires adaptation, moreover, each coach definitely has their own tastes, so they have to be able to adapt themselves to their environment and get used to being able to blend in and that certainly doesn't take a short time, it definitely takes quite a long time to be able to adapt and find the best between each other, especially when a change of coach occurs there will definitely be changes, even if they are said to be small.

as has happened with several teams that have just recruited new coaches, I think they need time to adapt. Even though previously they had a good and strong performance, it is unlikely that the new coach will carry out what has happened, of course the new coach will make changes according to his wishes. I hope that all teams that recruit new coaches can adapt well so that they can find the best point in their team's performance and be ready to compete in the upcoming matches.

Arne slot will of course try to bring back the glory of Liverpool because indeed so far Klopp has left a lot of glory and also achievements in Liverpool during his training, if talking about the English League, maybe Arne Slot will not be difficult to adapt because it is true that he is still maintaining the team framework that has been formed by Klopp so far, but competing in the Champions League will certainly be a new challenge in his career because so far I have seen If Arne Slot has no experience in the Champions League so far.
That's right, Arne Slot seems to be getting a test this time and of course it won't be easy to compete with other strong teams in the Champions League. Rather than pursuing the target, what is more important now is how to get Liverpool through the group stage because if they fail then Liverpool will have to go down to the European league and that will make them experience the same situation as last season.

On the other hand, we cannot ignore that Liverpool, who will be in the Champions League next season, will still be a team to be reckoned with and the rest we can only hope is that Arne Slot's strategy will change his style of play so that the opposing team will find it difficult to read his strategy.

yes but you are only talking about Spanish teams, remember that Europe is big and that the big teams are not always the best or win the most, there are many teams that are growing in Europe, think that Leverkusen or Atalanta are not they can reach the champion's quarterfinals, well the answer for me is definitely yes considering that even teams like Bologna can do really badly I would be very careful about Italy this year too, we'll see some good ones that's for sure

The Spanish team is still dominating the UCL. Europe is not a major deal for the Spanish squad ; if not, Real Madrid would not have won 15 UCL trophies. Many clubs are growing together; nonetheless, Real Madrid continues to dominate the UCL. I believe Real Madrid can still maintain its dominance.
After signing Mbappe as a new attacker, Madrid now lacks a worthy opponent in UCL;as a result, real madrid will still dominate UCL, it has biggest probability to defend UCL trophy they won last season.

It's definitely true, atalanta and leverkusen can reach quarter final; However, the competition is getting tougher with the implementation of the new format of UCL. In fact, competing in UCL is far tougher compared to the europa league, and these clubs(atalanta/leverkusen) will have tougher opponents. Ultimately, to reach the quarter final, they shall have worked even harder.

That's the point, maybe @Sg4j1n3ll0 lost focus a bit. I will not rule out Atalanta and Leverkusen but the fact is that for these two teams it is too early to easily conquer the UCL next season as a whole. I'm not underestimating this team, but when we talk about UCL, everyone knows that mentality and experience are the keys for every team to be able to survive in the biggest competition. Real Madrid is a reflection of 2 important factors and like it or not, 15 trophies make other clubs admit that nothing can surpass Madrid's UCL trophy for the next 10 years or even more.

I also like Leverkusen especially after their unbeaten record this season has proven that they are worthy. However, being faced with Atalanta indicates that Leverkusen still needs to learn a lot. At UCL, holding an unbeaten record is not enough, there are many factors that must be had, at least long flying experience that can be used as the main capital.

I agree with you that Champions League will be more competitive next season. The Leverkusen team is very strong despite not having many star players. On the other hand, Manchester City will try to strengthen their squad next season. Reigning champions Real Madrid have already managed to strengthen their squad by adding Mbappe to the squad.
Bayer Leverkusen will make sure they're having their top prime in UCL next season because the concluded season, they fought with fierce strength and Xabi Alonso was there to make sure they're having a long run. You're absolutely saying the truth, from next season we will experience the most challenging UCL tournament and none of these teams will relent with actions and performance. Every other elite club will make moved to strengthen their club and we totally understand how the matches will go.

Manchester City win  Wink
Oh, wait, there is king madrid in front of city!
Real Madrid are favorites ahead of Manchester City, they are like the king of the champions league, they have turned the league to their own. City are top contenders but Madrid have higher winning percentage.

They haven't had much luck this season. But they will win the next one without any problems.  Roll Eyes
I'd rather favor madrid to win UCL next season without doubt, but I were a fan of both city and madrid, then it's hard to choose.  Cool
I’m not a fan of both teams but if they will have to face to each other in the final then it will be a tough game and will be difficult to predict a winner. With the latest signing Madrid have done they will be more difficult to beat and even Manchester City may find it difficult to beat them. With Mbappe Madrid are still the favorites to win the title.

They have a great team with a great coach. They have no equal  Kiss
It might be right if you said madrid has no equal in UCL. I'm sorry, the city's still below madrid's level when it comes to the UCL.
Yes i agree, Manchester City are still below and winning them just once doesn’t make the equals in the champions league. I also think they have no equal in the Champions League.

May Manchester United fans forgive me. Cry
Don't worry, united fans aren't here.
Grin I don’t see what relates Manchester United to this discussion, are you guys trying to make fun of them. Hahaha

Just by looking out the clubs we have already gotten an insight of how next season champions League will look like and the clubs that has a very higher chance of winning  and also in the case of Liverpool I would say that they should just focus on the premier League for now because with what they did on this finished season I don't think they will survive on the champions League and also they are still going to go through a little declining in performance as there coach Klopp will no longer be with them next season, so getting use to the new coach will certainly take some time and also Arsenal on the other hand should also focus on the premier League more because that's were they have the higher chance on, however in terms of real Madrid they have already equipped themselves and they are ready for the champions League.

As for me, I view the next season's Champions League as a tough one. For now, I can't fully say which team will not do well in the Champions League because the season has not yet started. Even if we should predict it, it will be best that the competition starts first.

Let’s know that there are some teams that will did well this season but will not perform well next season, and there will be teams that may experience poor performance this season but do well next season because of some factors. So, predicting that Liverpool will not perform well in next season's Champions League may be wrong. This season’s performance can’t fully judge their next season.

As for Arsenal, they can focus on all competitions and may likely do well. If Arsenal can sign some quality players to strengthen their squad, I believe Arsenal may do well in all competitions, just like Liverpool.

Liverpool didn't fire Jurgen Klopp because Klopp decided to retire himself so I think Liverpool still has a good relationship with Klopp. In my opinion, there is a possibility that Arne Slot will be selected because of Klopp's suggestion. For the first stage, Liverpool cannot hope to achieve good results in the UCL and EPL. Arne Slot also requires tactical adaptation to each Liverpool player. Every coach has a different way even though they have the same philosophy. In modern football I don't think big names make much of an impact. A coach must be able to adapt to various variations of tactics and watch replays of each opponent's game. I think a flexible coach is the coach Liverpool needs right now.
Yes that's right. Jurgen Klopp was not fired but resigned. Maybe the right decision was to resign to look for a new challenge at another club, and it is true that the news circulating about Liverpool's new coach Arne Slot was also one of Jurgen Klopp's suggestions.

Arne Slot, although not very well known and beyond many people's predictions to become Liverpool coach, Arne Slot's performance as a coach was also very good, he was able to bring Feyenoord to become champions of the Dutch League and runners up in the Conference League. This is of course a consideration for Liverpool to make him a replacement for Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

Of course, a new coach will bring new philosophies and tactics that the players will eventually have to adapt to. So don't expect too much from Arne Slot in the first season, especially to compete in the UCL league, but just look at the development. Everything is in process, Jurgn Klopp was also in process when he first came to Liverpool. We just hope that the progress and process is good at Liverpool, at least they can stay in the top four next season, that's good.

I don’t know why you think Liverpool will not be able to compete in the upcoming Champions League competition. Is it that you underrate them that much or what? They were trying their possible best to compete with all those big clubs, although they later went down and their performances started declining. But that doesn't mean they will not do more in the Champions League. Liverpool are also good enough to compete, so let’s watch and see how they will come through this season.
Liverpool has entered a new era with a new coach, so it is very natural that many people still doubt that Liverpool will be able to compete in the Champions League next season, Liverpool this season has experienced a pretty drastic decline in performance when towards the end of this season, Klopp decision to withdraw of course surprised many people so I think it has a great impact on Liverpool current performance, this season Liverpool failed to win a single trophy so we can indeed say that if Liverpool is in a slump at the moment, the arrival of Arne Slot certainly gives hope for Liverpool fans but I think not a few are still doubtful if Liverpool will be able to rise in the hands of Arne Slot next season.

For Liverpool, don't be underestimated because the new coach is not as high as the popularity that Kloop has, some people think too much to underestimate Arne Slot without knowing what he might do with Liverpool in the current season, maybe they will dominate even more and close the mouths that think he doesn't deserve to be at Liverpool, it might happen because we know that next season will be good for all teams.

Lots of teams recruit new coaches but quite a few of them underestimate them because maybe they have few achievements so people don't really like them from their point of view, I also don't know much about Arne Slot but it seems he doesn't come from a team that can be said to be strong, but with several players currently in the main squad, of course Arne Slot can use that to show his quality as the new coach at Liverpool, since Klopp left, Liverpool may experience a slight decline in performance.

I think in the new season Liverpool will experience many changes from the unusual style of play when Klopp was there, but here the challenge is that Arne Slot must be able to approach all players and also recruit new players to fill the main squad, this is of course it is done so that Liverpool performs better than last season, at least Arne Slot must be able to bring Liverpool to get any trophy next season, even though it is difficult to hunt for the UCL trophy and only get the EPL, that will not be a problem because they clearly have the opportunity to compete with Arsenal and Manchester City next season.
For a decrease in work maybe it could be true because it is necessary to adjust between the coach and the player and it takes time, sometimes even how to read the strategy so that it is easier to digest someone needs a close emotional bond to be able to arrive at what is intended, a decrease in work maybe but it will not be long and too low in my opinion.

Not to underestimate and we support what Arne Slot will do at Liverpool, we also have to be rispect even though he is not from a land as high as Kloop's achievements, we know that like at the beginning Kloop was also a nobody but he could develop well and Liverpool became one of the places he prioritized the most until he came out, EPL or UCL we can't be sure yet we need to see how Liverpool with his new strategy in the hands of Arne Slot.

Usually there will be an impact after a change of coach at a club, Arne Slot inherited an established squad from Jurgen Klopp, he has a big responsibility to manage Liverpool like Jurgen Klopp once did. I didn't expect much from Arne Slot first season with Liverpool, he needed time to develop a strategy and get the players used to the tactics he used.
Liverpool who will appear in the UCL, will have a busy schedule, Arne Slot must be able to make Liverpool perform optimally in different competitions to get support and attention from club management for their performance. Arne Slot's experience with the previous team means he doesn't need too much time to improve Liverpool quality, he just needs to maintain Liverpool quality to provide competition in the EPL trophy hunt and reach the UCL semifinals in his first season.

Yes, of course Liverpool supporters are starting to lose confidence in the change of coach that Liverpool is currently making, but a change of coach must always be done because there is no other choice and Liverpool supporters must believe that Arne Slot will be able to give his best even though he doesn't have much experience in the field. Champions League.
A coach who have won Dutch Manager of the Year two times,  Eredivisie,  KNVB Cup, and got to the UEFA Conference League final is not mediocre. He doesn't need to have championship league experience to make an impact. After all most young coaches who are doing exploits in football have no or little experience. What is the basis for the loss of confidence in Arne Slot when matches have not started?

Quote
Liverpool may see their performance decline slightly when they appear in the Champions League when they have to face other big clubs and also having to maintain their position in the Premier League will be a very big challenge for the new coach but we have to remember that Liverpool has reliable players who have great experience big so it can be relied on.
There is no reason to believe that Liverpool's performance will decline in the Champions League. The coach should be allowed to show his worth before we make conclusions. Yes, the premier league is very tough but the new coach has the quality to move Liverpool forward. I guess Jurgen Klopp might have recommended Arne Slot to the club.

Quote
In my opinion, Liverpool doesn't need to chase the title in the Champions League too much, but just get new experiences with Arne Slot, who also needs this experience to use as motivation in the future.
Liverpool have some of the best players in the world. I don't see any reason why they shouldn't compete for the UCL. My view is that they should get some new players and pursue are the trophies.

Jurgen Klopp reach mutual contract with Liverpool and his decision retired awhile as manager, seems Jurgen Klopp had contribution behind appointing Arne Slot become new Liverpool manager for next season and bring back get good achievement in Champion League after success winning one UCL trophy under Jurgen Klopp era and twice moment lead to final season 2021/22 before beating by Real Madrid.

Liverpool with new manager next season I believe although had recommended from jurgen Klopp but Arne Slot has own tactician and more difference with Jurgen Klopp tactician, next season looking the opportunity some regular player under Jurgen Klopp era will loss their regular position because each manage has their own tactician and favorite players will get regular position every match. I won't to see Liverpool under Dutch manager era get the same with Manchester United when appointing Erik ten Hag got failure their performance in Champion League, as fans huge expected to see Liverpool after missing one season appearance in Champion League can reach higher round for next season exactly until final round.

Any great coach also needs time to make a club successful, Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho, Thomas Tuchel, Jurgen Kloop. They are great coaches and they need several seasons to make the club they coach win a title whether domestic or international and clubs also have to be more patient in dealing with the process because it is not easy to build a club, especially building a big club, it requires focus and consistency so that the club can perform well. There is no coach who gives instant results. If there really is one, I think his hands are magical.

It even took Xabi Alonso 2 seasons to improve Leverkusen's performance to become an unbeatable club even though Leverkusen is not an elite club, but when the management is patient and enjoys the process, finally Leverkusen can enjoy good results this season and win the title, so if the club wants success they should Don't change coaches in a short time because that will make it difficult for the players to adapt to the new coach and make their performance unstable because they have to deal with different coaches who have different strategies.

This season Liverpool is no longer managed by Jurgen Klopp. I think we can understand why some people are not confident with Liverpool anymore. Moreover, the new coach of Liverpool has no experience in UCL. He even never managed a big team in Europe, Liverpool is his first big team to manage by him. Instead of thinking to win UCL title, Liverpool must try to keep their good performance in EPL. However, Liverpool still can compete with other teams in UCL even if they are no longer as one of the favorite teams now. If there is no big change in their squad, I think it is not impossible to see them until the quarter-final or even semi-final. As long as they won't face Real Madrid or Man City in the early of knock-out round.

Diego Simeone has been managing Athletico Madrid for nearly 700 or so games if I am not wrong, which is quite a lot and something we do not see that often anymore, because most teams just change their managers like they are changing a sock so we do not get to see this many teams with the same manager all that often.
A coach staying very long in a team is good  but there ought to be a limit that will based on the achievements of the coach and the progress they gave made as well. To me a good coach should be able to prove himself within a period of five years. Diego Semeone is a good coach no doubt, but the results he has achieved in Atletico Madrid, in my opinion, is less than expectations and the name of Atletico Madrid. I remember he has lost Champions league final about twice which is 2014 and 2016. This to me is not a good one and if I were to be the management of the club, I would have tried another coach.

If a new manager is appointed in a club and he is removed from the team in the next season, then we say that the manager should be given more time because a manager cannot fully apply his skills in one season.

Changing managers in clubs is normal for them, it takes time for a person to manage the team properly. But experienced matches and experienced team managers are definitely experienced people. Because you would not have been given the job as a manager of a club without experience, you look at other clubs changing managers.

But if a manager takes charge of the same team for five consecutive seasons and cannot bring significant changes in the performance of that team, then the club should exclude that manager and plan anew. A manager who has not done well for the team in five years will not do well in the future. We may have forgotten the last time Atlético Madrid performed to our liking. They are not seen to perform significantly in either the Champions League or La Liga. I would definitely support a change of manager if their club's performance changes by changing the manager.

Of course a manager has been given five seasons to run a club, you see where that person will end up if he is properly experienced and fails to manage the team? Huh. So no matter what we say, a manager with experience must manage the team right from the start. And will try to make the most of his experience and apply the experience to the players.
If a person manages a club for a long time then he must be able to manage based on experience, not opportunity but experience.

A big dogs in football especially in the UEFA Champions League but you will never underestimate the power and enthusiasm of the Liverpool team and their fans LFC can strike back anytime and when they strike back its impact is very hard.
Striking back anytime is something I believe Liverpool can comfortably do during the times they had klop as their coach, but in present times, I don't know how well that will be applicable because they may not be able to have that kind of form and mentality they had with klop, Liverpool under klop had a stable form and the strong and firm mentality klop had was such that he could possibly get to make his boys deliver even at points where they may have lost faith in their own ability, I believe they are at this point going to be able to see how well they can build up again capitalizing on the legacy of klop with their new coach.

In that champions league, much shouldn't be really expected of Liverpool this season as they may not be able except if they probably get along with their new coach quick enough such that his patterns and tactics are similar to that of their former coach getting them to be able to adapt to the new strategies without much stress or having to even stress much enough before they are able to really get to play well enough. But I still believe that since they have been able to maintain their depth, they may literally not find it too hard to be able to get through the season with their form and performance aswell.

It's just that by looking at the situation that occurs for the internal next season I think we have to see first some policies and transitions made. Next season Liverpool have certainly lost Klopp and the future of several players such as Salah and Alisson is still unclear so this is still complicated for Liverpool.
By looking at this situation, of course there is a doubt, especially since we still haven't seen what the slot will be like so for now I don't want to expect too much in advance for Liverrpool before actually seeing them in the early season matches later.

You're just being reasonable and there's nothing wrong with keeping expectations low for Liverpool now that there's been a very major change in the management so until the first few games under Arne slot to assess his performance with Liverpool, we can't say for sure if the team will do very in the UCL. Although my opinion is biased, I personally think that a Slot transition will be a breeze especially as Klopp tried to make the team, fans and players to welcome him as much as possible and work with him. It would be an interesting couple of weeks to watch out for when the season kicks off.
