Bellingham was the top scorer of Madrid's squad last season. Bellingham is not in good form this season. He has only scored 4 goals and 3 assists in 11 matches. In addition, Vini is now facing injury again. Mbappe is not getting the expected good performance. Even Madrid has lost points in several matches due to Mbappe's bad performance. It is not possible to say for sure whether Madrid will be able to play well in the upcoming matches of the Champions League.

I think Bellingham decline has to be caused by Mbappe coming to the club, he doesn't have time on the ball anymore as he gets to create chances for Mbappe and others to score. We are the one making it look like Bellingham isn't playing well as he's no longer scoring. We forget that Bellingham is a midfielder and not a striker. The goal scoring are just extra benefits he used to bring to the club but his primary goals is to create chances and balance the midfield. I was disappointed with Mbappe in the last Real Madrid game for missing another penalty. It looks like he'll allowing the pressure to get to him at Real Madrid. He needs to relax himself and step up more often.

Real Madrid are a really special team... Let's take the last season as an example. They weren't in their best shape right? But what happened? They still managed to win the Champions League title.  Grin

This wasn't because of luck. You can't go all that way to the end only thanks to being lucky. We are talking about one of the biggest European tournaments. This season they are going even worse here. Seeing them at the 24th position can make people think whether they will say goodbye early. But I don't think so. They have been struggling with injuries too. I believe we will still see the same competitive Real Madrid sooner or later.
Yeah they were struggling from the group stage.

Few match ended dramatic because they won by comeback in the last minutes, they even an underdog in final match, really crazy to follow how Real Madrid can become a champion.

I think Ancelotti will take a big move, which is put Mbappe on bench.
Having Mbappe means that you do not put him on the bench, even if he plays badly. The real talent a coach could have is to make sure he fixes whatever is the problem and then end up getting him to play better. Not like he has been a bad player ever, he has been a great player ever since he started and that is why we should be considering this to be not an issue that has been around for a long time, he is a great player and just having a bad season so far and they need to find whatever is the issue.

On the long run, putting him on the bench doesn't really solve anything, it would just hurt them. Not like this is the first time he is playing with another great left wing, he played with Neymar before and he was left wing too, so this isn't the first time he is facing this issue. They need to also remember that they still have a chance to win both la liga and UCL this season, not saying they will, but mathematically it's possible for them to win both of those so far.
High expectations on player do contribute to players poor performance when they first got into any team, and that's definitely the case here with Mbappe, if you could recall when the transfer deal was sealed,  Mbappe was still in his best form until he got to Madrid now, he isn't the real Mbappe that we used to know,  sometimes could be how manager is featuring the player or maybe the player trying to gain confidence in his new team that results to a player having a bad season.

But sorry, Real Madrid has a good plan in regenerating the squad, in fact Real Madrid also still has many young players with great potential in the squad. Not only that, even some senior players are still  in the Real Madrid squad and thus, even if Real Madrid the player you mentioned is injured but I still think Real Madrid is still fine. Last season, Belingham made a huge contribution to Real Madrid's success in winning the trophy but this season, after suffering an injury, it seems that Bellingham has also decreased. So, in the not-so-good results for Real Madrid so far, I don't think it's because of Mbappe but yes, because it seems like the other key players that Real Madrid have  also experienced a decline in performance this season.

Madrid will play against Atalanta in the next match of the Champions League. Atalanta team is very strong this season. So if Madrid players do not perform well, Madrid has no chance of getting points against Atalanta. I consider Atalanta team as favorite in this match.

I don't even expect good performance from Girona in this ongoing Champions League because of the level of their players. All their players are still average with less experience in the Champions League. So, I don't expect them to even qualify for the next round. With their next three matches, it’s really clear they will not qualify because they will find it difficult to win against the three teams you mentioned Arsenal, Liverpool, and AC Milan. At best, they might manage a draw against one of these teams based on their current form. These three teams are seriously in good form. But let's see, as football is full of surprises. Maybe they’ll get lucky and win one or two matches, but I’m not entirely sure it will happen.

Seriously Girona had a fantastic season last season but just like you I didn’t expect them to actually do anything spectacular this season because after their fairy tale season last season most of the players moved away from the club in the summer and that has put the club in bad shape, players like Savinho and Artem Dovbyk were instrumental for the club last season and they will definitely have had an impact if they had stayed beyond last season but to me it was a good decision to go to a much bigger club when they want you.

Right now Girona qualification is all but done to me too because this three matches are matches against clubs that will want to take all three points home in fact except Liverpool who are comfortable the remaining Arsenal and Milan need this point to finish at a better position.

Real Madrid currently have 6 injured players that are their main players.
-Militao
-Alaba
-Carvajal
-Tchouaméni
-Camavinga
-Vinicius

These are important players so Real Madrid's performance has declined so it is natural that they often experience defeat and Mbappe is not entirely to blame, but he always fails to convert opportunities into goals, especially Mbappe's ego is still there where he always dribbles without seeing players who are in the right position to pass the ball.

But sorry, Real Madrid has a good plan in regenerating the squad, in fact Real Madrid also still has many young players with great potential in the squad. Girona was initially doing well earlier last season but ever since they lost form, and Real Madrid won the title, their winning spirit declined drastically, and they have been struggling since then. Girona is still a developing club so nothing much is expected from them in the Champions league so let them just play all their matches and return home with pride because it is not easy to have a Champions league experience for the first time in the club's history. The only game among the three teams you mentioned that they can perform well a bit will be against AC Milan but for Arsenal and Liverpool, they can't really compete with both teams because the two teams are far stronger than Girona in every angle.
Milan is actually a team that is full of experience in the Champions League compared to Arsenal, even if Milan's performance is very erratic. Milan has only performed worse than Liverpool and Arsenal this season in the Champions League, while Milan has performed better than Real Madrid in the same competition.

To be honest, I don't expect Girona to win any points from the next 3 matches in the Champions League, that's because I believe the quality of the players between the teams is very different. Girona have changed and their performance is very bad, but in La Liga they have a pretty good performance. Meanwhile, Girona is just an ordinary team in the Champions League compared to Liverpool, Arsenal and Milan.

As @Palakka said, it doesn't matter if Girona has a bad performance this season because this is the first time Girona has competed in the UCL. Certainly Girona does not have the experience to manage the team as well as possible to perform consistently in several competitions.
And previously I also said last season that Girona good performance last season was just luck when the top teams were busy competing in more prestigious competitions and Girona was able to take advantage of the opportunity well. I also said that this season Girona will definitely have difficulties because the top teams are trying to improve their performance and Girona will not be able to compete like last season.
So there is no need to expect more from Girona to have the same level as Aston Villa.
They are having bad results at La Liga this season, which is the problem they have, I do not think that we should see that as good enough, that's not good enough at all. I understand them not having the greatest time at UCL, because it's their first time, and I believe every team would face hard time if it's their first time at UCL, but their "first" could be their "last" for a very long time if they keep getting worse every season.

They need to do better and they need to make sure they can at least join another European competition. Ideally, they would join UCL every season, become the fourth biggest team of Spain after Real Madrid, Barcelona and Athletico Madrid, that would be their goal, but even Europa would be good, and if nothing else, at least conference league, but right now they have none of those.

We were very surprised by Girona's performance last season. Girona had been able to perform consistently well since the beginning of the season. And Girona had been at the top of the La Liga table for a long time. But the team could not maintain consistency until the end. Girona was in third place in La Liga at the end of the season.

Girona's performance has been weak since the beginning of this season. Girona is in eighth place in the points table. Girona has won only 6 matches out of 15 matches. At the same time, Girona has lost four matches in the Champions League. Girona's overall performance is very weak. With such a weak performance, it is impossible to get points against Liverpool.

Hmmm, that's true but unfortunately this season they are not doing anything good like previous years. Injuries  toes put them in a serious trouble. All of their crucial players are tussling with injuries suspect. So looking at these things makes me feel like it sucks that they will not be able to win something else. Killyan Mbappe is not in good form he is just disgusting. All the fan are mad at him due to the poor performance status. Even though he missed twice on a penalty at once in a week despite real Madrid really being in a bit of a sleepy mode. I mean they are not getting away with their bad form.

So that's why I don't think that they will be able to lift the UEFA champions league trophy one more time. Or even La Liga title...

~~

I think Ancelotti will take a big move, which is put Mbappe on bench.
Grin Hahaha, that looks funny. I mean Killyan Mbappe on the bench...
It's just really battered for such kind of players. There was a time when people believed that Killian Mbappe would surpass L. Messi and C. Ronaldo. But now he is showing such a poor performance that Real Madrid has plans to bench him.

Girona is 30th in the standings with 3 games left to play and clearly has a chance of less than 5% to enter the play off round. For that reason Girona can only play as hard as possible without taking risks, because the clubs above them will also compete to win the play-off zone. But if Dovbyk is still there, maybe Girona performance will be a little better in the UCL.

Girona has a Champions League remaining against quite tough teams. The 3 teams are Liverpool, Milan, and Arsenal. It will certainly be quite difficult for Girona to at least qualify even through the playoffs.
Girona's performance has declined this season. They performed better last season, but this season they are having problems. 5 matches with 3 points collected, it will be very difficult to be able to fight when seeing their opponents are strong teams.

This will be a very difficult game for Girona. I don't think they'll be able to win against any of the tough clubs they're playing with. They can battle Ac Milla and draw, but if it's Liverpool and Arsenal, I don't think they'll have a chance to defeat or draw the game. With what I'm seeing, I don't think Girona can advance to the next round because the three tough clubs remaining for them are not easy. If it is last season, I believe they can win because they performed well last season, even challenging Barcelona in the tournament and having the possibility to defeat them back to back. However, Liverpool has won everything there in the ucl group, I think Liverpool coach will try to rest some key players in the match and make Girona achieve point with them. But even they rest all live players are very good and Girona this season was bad for them, I don't think they can achieve point against Liverpool.

I don't think Girona is a tough opponent for a big team like Liverpool. First of all, Girona is not an experienced enough team for the Champions League platform. This team is far behind. Moreover, this team is not in good form this season. Girona is not able to perform well in La Liga. This team's performance in the Champions League is also very weak. Girona has lost four out of 5 matches and won one. Girona is in 30th position in the points table.

On the other hand, Liverpool is a very strong team this season. We have seen Liverpool win all 5 matches in the Champions League. And the top spot in the table is occupied by Liverpool. Liverpool is the only team in the Champions League who has not lost a point in any match yet.

Unless there is a major accident, the chances of Liverpool losing points against a team like Girona are very low. Although Liverpool failed to win against Newcastle in the last match of the Premier League. However, I don't think Liverpool players will make the same mistake against Girona.
I completely agree with your opinion about the comparison between the two teams, but personally I don't dare guarantee Liverpool's victory in that match. Anything can still happen because this is football, but what is clear is that Liverpool's chances of winning tend to be higher than Girona. Liverpool is experienced in the Champions League and they also have stronger squad depth, while Girona has nothing.

So far Liverpool have taken all the points from the 5 Champions League matches they have played, so they will of course try to keep this record safe and win the match. The probability of winning is certainly very high and many gamblers will probably consider the odds offered even though they are quite low.

Real Madrid has often come from behind but they cannot afford to take it lightly this time as this is the first time the new format has been introduced, so if they don't take it seriously then they might just get knocked out. I agree that Ancelotti should have started thinking about benching Mbappe because besides being an option, it might make Mbappe better. There are times when a player can be better when he is left on the bench because he will reflect and try to improve himself to become a starter again.
When you say that, it's as if Mbappe has been the one making Real Madrid's game unusual and I don't think it's wise to make such an assessment. I don't think there's anything wrong with Mbappe, it's just that he still needs time to adapt.
Also remember the team's game as a whole, their problem is not just in the front line, but it's the whole thing. They have problems in defense and they still have problems in midfield, that's what makes Real Madrid's game messy so it's very difficult for them to get a win. So I disagree with what you said.

Even though Girona's strength this season has dropped drastically, Girona must still be considered a competitor who could potentially hurt Liverpool. Of course Girona are not favorites in the Champions League against any team, so their chances of winning are really low and most people clearly consider Liverpool to be the favorites. This is not a dangerous match for Liverpool, but Girona cannot be underestimated.

Girona still has a chance of qualifying for the playoffs if they win their next 3 games in the Champions League, but it is reasonable to say that is an almost impossible mission considering Liverpool, Milan and Arsenal are the potential opponents. Girona will have to fight and do as best they can, even if their chances are really low.

It's hard to bench a striker when you have an injured attacker, Real played this game without Vinicius, if Ancelotti had to play without Mbappe I think it would have been even more difficult. Of course Mbappe is to blame for taking responsibility for this penalty and letting the team down, but the problem is not only him, Real has problems in defense and I think this is the main problem for Real now. I think that Real is capable of reaching the playoffs, they have games left with not the most difficult opponents and they must gain points in these matches.

Yes, this match will definitely be interesting. Although Dortmund has lost to Real Madrid in its last few matches and in the domestic league Real Madrid lost to Barcelona, it does not mean that Dortmund will be easily defeated by Barcelona. Dortmund this season in the UCL league has performed impressively, they have only lost once, this is the same as Barcelona who only lost once and both teams have collected 12 points.
The UCL match on December 12 will not be easy for any team. Maybe in this match football fans will enjoy a tough and exciting match. Barcelona have consistently beaten the opposition in recent times, which is why many would consider Barcelona as favorites in UCL matches. Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund have lost just one match this season in the UEFA Champions League. In this regard, the performance and strength of these two teams are almost the same.
Quote
Dortmund in this match certainly will not repeat the same mistake as when they lost to Real Madrid, they do not want to lose a second time when facing the Spanish representative team. Moreover, this match is played in front of their own supporters, this will be an opportunity for Dortmund to get perfect points.
Borussia Dortmund lost by a wide margin against Real Madrid, they had a very poor performance in that match. Since Real Madrid was beaten by Barcelona, this match might be more difficult for Borussia Dortmund.
Quote
I myself will predict that this match will be won by Dortmund and another possibility is that this match will end in a draw.
You can't say for sure which team will win, this match between Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund has the highest probability of a draw.
