 I like how Liverpool are still maintaining the same control they had over the game in the first half in the second half as well and that's why they were able to get a goal. Admittedly, Timo courtois was a real sensation in the first half but I guess the number of times he has had to deliver his side has worn him down a bit for Liverpool to take advantage of
 It's okay to state that Arne Slot is a good replacement for Jurgen klopp because the man has made sure that Liverpool continues in the path that will ensure they win trophies and initially, I thought this game won't see them scoring goals because of their game to Man City on Sunday but it's not so. I see this game either end in a draw or Liverpool will win by a goal or two.

The match is not over yet and Liverpool are doing well at home, so far they have a 1-0 advantage over Real Madrid. Mac Allister scored Liverpool's first goal in the 52nd minute. There are also missed penalties in return, both teams are trying to renew the score, but Liverpool deserves this match more when we look at the remaining time. Real Madrid is less effective on the field than Liverpool.

No one will watch the match yesterday and won’t be surprise with the result of the match, Manchester city scored two goals at the beginning of second half, I was even expecting more goals from Manchester city before the match ended, but to my surprise, Manchester City conceded three goals in the second half of the match, am just kind of surprise, because Manchester city didn’t even play against strong team, so I don’t know how that happened. Pep Guardiola really needs to fix something’s in the club, Manchester City’s performance is getting worst.

I don’t know how Manchester city will play against Liverpool, but it’s going to be very difficult for them to even get a draw in the match, the match should be a easy win for Liverpool, with the way Liverpool is playing, I have confidence in them.

What a technical finish from Mac Allister on the 52nd minutes to take the lead in the first minutes of thr first half. Liverpool is becoming more deadly and attacking with confidence as the are in full control of the match this second half. It's only a miracle that can happen in this match for Real Madrid to walk away with all three points, because their players don't have the full strength to play Liverpool tonight. More goals will come from Liverpool because Madrid defense is getting porous for them.

Liverpool is finally taking the lead after coming really closed in the first for a goal but only to be see a goal line clearance from Raul Asencio. Things will become more tough for Real Madrid now that they have conceded a goal, this squad really needs Vinicius Junior to turn the tide around but now that him and Rodrigo are not available I doubt anything will happen especially since Mbappe has not been in his very best, though he is even in the left wing today

The first half ended without scoring a goal from both teams. But Real Madrid played very well, as did Loverpool. But Madrid's victory was very important to catch up, while Loverpool only maintained their position in the standings, but Liverpool had already qualified for the round of 16, while Madrid was still fighting to qualify for the play off round.

Yeah mbappé is playing from vinicius jnr wing which I think he has been making good runs but has a poor finishing compared to vinicius jnr whose absence can be severely felt.
Liverpool has been very impressive tonight at Anfield, they've had most of the possessions more than Madrid.  Madrid are playing more of the counter attack, while Liverpool are fully in charge of the midfield with better scoring opportunities than Real Madrid so far in this first half.

So far, they're really fighting so hard not to lose this game they know what it means loosing it and I believe that's why they've fought so hard to maintain a barren draw in the 1st half, for a team like Real Madrid a draw is equivalent to losing but then, with the injury crisis they've got it would be much more tougher to win against Liverpool that's currently very inform, all their key players are very fit, therefore a draw would be more welcomed. Well, they've tried to play draw in the 1st half cause Liverpool are more favoured in that match and I was expecting them to be ahead with goals currently but then I won't be surprised if the match favours Real Madrid cause I've watched games where underdogs became victors, for instance the just concluded Stuttgart's match and that of Girona too, who would believed they'll lose their matches especially Stuttgart that conceded 5 goals. I won't be suprised if Real Madrid scores and park the bus in the second half to end the game with 0 -1, it's possible.

Pep scratching himself out of frustration is definitely an overreaction in my book. I mean he is one of the greatest managers that ever lived, there is no need to be this mad over a game, not even for a stretch of games, they will eventually figure out the issue and will do fine, no need to be this mad about it all. They have more games ahead of them, they have Liverpool game coming up now, so they need to be a bit more calm, focus on that.

This desperate look isn't a good one for them, they are Manchester City, the team that won it 4 in a row now, so they need to get that confidence back, when they do, everything will click much better and they will win their games. This game was terrible I agree, but it will pass.

What are your expectations? Real Madrid should win or what? The game is already at half time and I must say both teams have put in good performance by not allowing a goal into the net yet. The statistics of the first half of the game shows that Liverpool are in a better position to win this game than Real Madrid wining it. Three shots on target for Liverpool wit Real Madrid unable to record at least one shot on target is not encouraging. The kings of the champions league are in a very hot seat now and they will have to play better in the second half or they may end up losing the match. They’ve not been in good form and since they’re yet to recover from that, I don’t think they’re most likely going to do better than Liverpool who are currently in good form and in a better position to win this game tonight.

The first half of the match is over and it ended goalless. I enjoyed the match because it was very tensed, as Real Madrid started with an aggressive attack but they were unable to take the lead. In the last 15 minutes of the game was when Liverpool was able to put themselves into the game and they dominated it with several chances that they were unable to convert to a goal. Liverpool had more chances and was able to penetrate Madrid defense easily. I believe one of these two clubs will score in the second half. It is 0-0.

The game is fill with much tension between the two rivals with both sides playing a fast one against each other , but ultimately, Liverpool so far is enjoying a home advantage in the game as they have made excellent possession of the first half, and also gotten some of the best  chances to have the ball behind the net but the real madrid goalie Thibaut Courtois has been very good with his job of keeping the ball off from going behind.

Madrid on the one hand have really made some brilliant but  unsuccessful counterattacks too which all what makes this game so interesting that both sides are just not relenting. Wonder what the second half could have for us the fans.

Real Madrid has some problems that leads them to worse performance this season, especially in UCL competition. They need to win this match to secure their position. At least, they need to finish the league phase in play-offs zone. It will be too bad if they are eliminated in league phase, Real Madrid will be very shame because they are the king of UCL.  

Real Madrid have 6 injured players (Alaba, Militao, Carvajal, Tchouaméni, Rodrygo, and Vini). Unfortunately, all of the injured players are the main players of Real Madrid. Sure, Real Madrid will lose much their power in attacking line without Vini-Rodrygo. But I believe Mbappe, Arda Guler, and Brahim Diaz can be good alternative for the attacking line players. For Endrick, he is a talented player but not sure that he do much in UCL level.

Yep. Liverpool performed well and they played very consistently during this season. Basically, they will have a higher chance to win this game. It is not only about their stats in UCL so far, Liverpool also has a full squad for this match. They have no problem with injured players, so they can play with all their main players.

I don't think it is an open game. Both teams played very carefully in the first half of the match. I saw no much attack, both teams have small chances to score goals. Liverpool only got 3 shots on target, Real Madrid has 0 shots on target. Maybe in the second half of the match, will be some changes to increase the chance of scoring goals. Well, If there will be no much change, I guess the match will end up with a draw.  

It’s very unlikely that Real Madrid would be able to make anything out of this game. The first half haven't been an easy get goal for Liverpool but you can tell they are the dominant side on this game and have had far better chances than we can say for Real Madrid. I really hoped to have seen a goal from either of these sides by now but, it seems they both aren’t up for that just yet. Reserving most of the actions for the second half.
Both teams have been a second half team but, with Real Madrid not being in there best shape, it could as well be Liverpool’s point to keep.

This Liverpool Real Madrid game is very explosive,  no dull moment so far and I like how much pressure the Reds keep applying on Madrid and they haven't flinched either and giving Liverpool a run for their money...but they should be worry of Mbappe because those unsuccessful runs will surely pay off and they won't see it coming..

Otherwise Courtois has been the busier player of the two which should tell you who is more hungry for the win..scoreline remains at 0-0 heading to the half.

Considering that Real Madrid has only 6 points so far in the game and Liverpool has 12 points, it is a big deal for Real Madrid to take this game seriously. Even though I know that Liverpool will not accept a defeat in a home game, the trust I have for Real Madrid is making me believe that they will be able to win the game, but based on how this game is going now, I don’t think the game is in favor of  Real Madrid because they were not able to make a single attack, and it is almost to the end of the first half, although everything is capable of happening in the game. I hope the game ends as I expected. 

Because Vinicius is injured, I see Mbappe playing on the left side in this match against Liverpool, and I think that is a good position for Mbappe. But even so, I see Liverpool still dominating the match so far entering the 25th minute when writing, but there have been three yellow cards in this match, two for Liverpool players and one for Real Madrid players. Thus, at least it is proven that Real Madrid is still able to have a good performance even though many of their main players are injured. At least, my considerations may also be a little proven so far, because Real Madrid is still a strong team without having a big dependence on just a few players. Thus, the absence of several key players, in reality Real Madrid will not be weak because in reality Real Madrid is still fine with the squad available.

Liverpool is at the top of the spot right now, and I think they will do everything to win this game because they won’t want to lose this match since they are sharing the same point with Monaco, so the game is an important one for them to win so they will continue to be at the top of the table. Monaco is always leading with 1 goal against Benfica, so I think this match is an important one for Liverpool. On the other hand, Real Madrid is not that strong this season, so I’m expecting Liverpool to do everything to win this match tonight. 

I do agree that 3-0 to 3-3 was a disappointing result, even worse is that they did this within the last 15 minutes as well, Feyenoord was losing by 3-0 in 73th minute or so, and then they managed to score three to make an incredible comeback. I understand everyone is talking from the City side, they are talking about how this was a terrible game by them, but nobody I see congratulates Feyenoord for such an amazing comeback.

Yes, it's true that City played terrible but it's also true that Feyenoord, playing against the last 4 years EPL winners, playing against the team that did treble just 1.5 years ago, losing by 3-0 at Ettihad, and in the last 15 minutes they made a comeback to get a point out of them. That's a huge achievement from Feyenoord and while we do talk about City, we shouldn't forget about congratulating Feyenoord for their success, they did something amazing here and that's a very important part of the discussion, definitely a big deal.

Vini Jnr would be absent… that’s not good for Real Madrid. I get it that they’ve got some great guys but, we all know how Vini Jnr takes it upon himself to come up with those performance that could save the game when Real Madrid isn’t doing great. Now with them having to play against Liverpool in this current form of Liverpool, it wouldn’t be an easy game for them.

Talking about the problem of Real Madrid, well, the positioning and player combinations could always pose some challenge to a team. I think one of there issue right before Mbappe joined up has been, how this young squad could coordinate there play to get the best from the talents they’ve assembled. Hope they figure out themselves tonight else, Liverpool would give them a scoreline that would be embarrassing.
