Barcelona at it again, if it was another team that late challenge on Benfica player would have been a penalty, I'm surprised because this isn't the first time they are doing this in the Champions League for them. Benfica 4 Barcelona 5, Raphinha With an excellent finish to score that 5th goal.
For Juventus, I don't know what's wrong with that team and draws, they draw too many games against their opponents.
As for Borussia Dortmund, they are finished.
What a controversial winning from Barcelona. The referee should have have ended the match if he wasn't going to give Benfica that penalty. He should have allowed the match finished at 4:4, his decision to allow the match go on has cost Benfica the 3 points. The referee should have ended the match while Raphinha was running with the ball. He shouldn't have allowed him score the goal. With that goal being scored he was confused and didn't know what to do. Overall I think the officiating of the match was very poor. Lots of penalties in one match and it's not good. Uefa should invite the referee for questioning. I don't even want to comment on Dortmund match against Bologna. What a shameful loss. A team that were the finalist of last season champions League now struggling to beat ordinary Bologna. That coach deserved to be sacked tonight, what nonsense.

Barcelona getting a thrashing by Benfica before the end of first half! It's 3-1 and Vangelis Pavlidis has had a hattrick in 30 minutes. What is going on with Hansi Flick's Barcelona? Do they just train beating Real Madrid and that's it?

Let's wait and see if Barcelona can attempt to make a comeback. My joy will be that if that Over 6.5 goal pick that I made, getting won 3 more goals to go.
Meanwhile, Atlético Madrid are down to 10 men after Pablo Barrio got sent off. Time for Bayer Leverkusen to capitalize on this.
1. Barcelona is trying to make a decent comeback and the match is now 4:3 still against Barcelona. Meanwhile Barcelona is in the higher momentum than Benfica which means they are likely to equalize if the time will be lenient on them.

2. I don't see myself placing a bet of over 6.5 goals. I mean, how do you guys come up with such minds, as if your uncle is the referee  Grin

Barcelona did it again as they came from 3:1 to win 4:5. Congratulations to you for winning your bet and a big congratulations to the entire team of Barcelona they fought a good fight and I think they should be motivated by the win tonight to keep getting better in their domestic league.

Atletico Madrid also recorded a great comeback as they also come from behind to win 2:1. I wasn't expecting Atletico Madrid to win this game following their 1 man down since first half when Barrios P. waa sent off on a red card offense. Great results from the Spanish team tonight they deserve the win.

Surprisingly Barcelona showed maximum power in the second half and turned the match from a three goals to one first half loss to a three goals to five full time win. This is emotional for the Catalans, a reminder that Barcelona is superior as long as the champions league is concern. I already gave up on the match from first half because Benfica were not just scoring goals, they were oppressing Barcelona and at the same time scoring. I don't know what the Barcelona players were told or promised at the dressing some but they came back for the second half fully charged and aggressive and behold, they go the results.

What a nine goals thriller match by Benfica and Barcelona this night like who could have imagine Barcelona coming from 3:1 and 4:2 to win Benfica by 4:5 and that is to show that there is still a great strength that Barcelona possesses but it seems it works more for them outside the La Liga because that is only where they are experiencing some draw back. I really commend Barcelona for winning Benfica even though the both team defense made costly mistakes because at first it was Barcelona's defense but it later transferred to Benfica's defense and theirs became more worse than that of Barcelona. All thanks to Raphinha for giving Barcelona the surprise win

Barcelona were able each time to score and gets the draw in this epic match with 8 goals so far by both teams. This result is very disappointing for Barcelona unless they added another goal in the remaining injury time. Otherwise having 16 points is fine for them and could almost keep them out of the knockout phase.
Again and again Raphael saved Barcelona to get full points. No one expected this match to end in Barcelona winning but it was surprising how good Raphael's performance in crucial minutes could seal the victory. This was a very dramatic result and really enjoyed this match with a very pleasant victory for Barcelona. This time I was amazed by Barcelona performance.

Liverpool is in better shape, and since the start of the season, they have not lost a single Champions League game, and they often get three points in whatever game they play. And now Lille aren't very good. Liverpool will not want to lose tonight because they are playing at home, and they will do whatever to get three points and keep their record intact in the competition. PSG and Manchester City will play big games tomorrow, because no one wants to lose any points. Manchester City has begun to win games in the league, and Guadiola is fully prepared for the game, which they really need game. And psg need the game too, so know one will like to lose any point, let see how the game will end with but the game will be very difficult for psg to win Manchester City, anyone that will like to play bet is to just play both team to score, that is just what I think and the other one thinking they the game can probably be a draw games.
Liverpool is the most consistent team in the Champions League, they performed quite well by winning every match they played. In today's match, Salah et al performed well, they were able to provide pleasure for the fans who were present at the stadium because they played well and were able to dominate throughout the match. Salah opened the lead for Liverpool in today's match, he became an important player for the team in this match because he was so active in providing passes, building attacks and destroying the opponent's defense.

Liverpool didn't hold back although before this match they have already to qualify but Liverpool still had ambition want to the get the winning result from this match and Lille have done well because they were playing with very discipline but Liverpool is much better in this match especially after red card incident which caused Liverpool can score 2nd goal and makes them can collect 3 points from this match so total Liverpool has gets 7 winning streak and collect 21 points which possibly Liverpool can occupy first place until League phase ended

Liverpool actually always had the chance almost every season, but they were the ones who actually made their chances disappear because of the decline in performance towards the end, even though there was a crucial moment that could take them further. Now they have that chance again and even now they have a pretty big chance with their good performance. But one question I have is will they stay like this until the end of the season? or bad things happen so that they experience another decline at a very important moment.
I honestly don't think they'll get anywhere beyond what could bring them bad luck, or as we say here "it would be very rude" right now Liveprool is doing excellent in both the UCL and the PL, and the moment they're living in is enough for them to take advantage of it, in football you have to improve, and take more advantage when you have it, because getting to the top places sometimes isn't that difficult, the difficult thing is staying in that first place, that's where we'll see what they're made of at the moment, Liveprool is at its best and that includes its players.

Now, it's totally unbelievable that Barcelona later won and the match played over 8.5 goals. Football is a wonder of its own.

In another match, Benfica vs Barcelona where both teams scored goals because 8 goals were scored in this match. Lewandowski 2 goals, Raphel and Garcia each scored one goal. In Benfica where Pavlidis was able to record a hat-trick and one own goal from Araujo. Barcelona also performed well in this match, their position is very safe in the standings. For Benfica, of course, a draw is not their hope but Barcelona is so strong in this match.

Looks like a team had too much  from their last celebration Grin, Barcelona in their last game had a draw ( not UCL though) and today they are 2 goals behind getting back into the game…. Still first half anyways, maybe they could change things in the second half but that will be a lot of goals, at least 3 goals to win and I don’t think Benfica will allow that . They don’t need to worry too much though as whey should still be on the round of 16just that  they might get dropped to 4th or 5th position by the end of this round..
I just hope they don’t get dropped out  to knockout stage at the end  Tongue

Juventus are just something else. How can a team like that enjoy playing out draws? In all the 7 games that are playing now, it's only them that haven't registered a goal and it's not as if Club Brugge are that difficult to beat because if I'm not mistaken, this was the same club that Borrusia Dortmund and AC Milan beat well so I wonder why it's different for them.
I used to think that Juventus were always going home with one point because of how strong their defense is but the truth is they've not got good midfielders to feed them the ball. I think we would be seeing a lot of draws from them even in their domestic league. Such a poor form for them.

If I was to be told that benfica would get the upper hand in this draw I wouldn't have believe it but they have found a way and won this game and with a certain level of dominance when it comes to their conversion rate at the front of goal. Although Barcelona have made it look as if they would get a draw which is still possible seeing how easy they too can score a lot of goals.

Edit: just like I taught Barcelona have equalized and it's 4-4 now on the scoreline.

Benfica destroyed Barcelona because in the first half Benfica was already leading 3-1 over Barcelona and three hat-trick goals were created by Vangelis Pavlidis and 1 goal for Barcelona was created by Lewandowski through a penalty. Barcelona has so far dominated the game, only poor defense allowed Benfica to make deadly counterattacks and also Wojciech Szczesny who could not guard his goal well.

And if Barcelona does not immediately fix it, the chances of a goal will be even greater in the second half. And Liverpool is already leading 1-0 over LOSCE and one goal was created by Muhamed Salah in the 34th minute, while Atletico Madrid vs Leverkusen 0-1 and Atletico Madrid only played with 10 men because Pablo Barrios got a red card in the 25th minute and this is a good opportunity for Leverkusen to win this match.
Benfica are really having a nice night Vs Barcelona 4 - 2, the Hat trick hero Pavlidis has used Barcelona to get his 4 goal in the Champions League this season. Barcelona holding the ball as usual and Benfica doing the damages on the night of which is actually surprising to me because earlier on before the game, I thought it was going to be an easy win for Barcelona in Portugal but I guess I was wrong as Benfica has done otherwise.
Just in, Barcelona has made it 4-3 with Lewy scoring again from the spot lol, Barcelona are relying on penalties and luck Vs Benfica tonight LOL

Leverkusen just scored against Atletico and they are now winning.
Atletico got a missing player and it will be a nightmare for them.
Liverpool is dominationg once again they could be the 1st and only team with maxxed out points in the new era of the Champions League.
salah once again proven that this is his best season ever and ironically it will be probably his last one season with them.

Second half starting soon but many of these games has no value since the leaderboard is almost clear now.

The Atletico madrid VS Leverkusen would have been better and more interesting without the red card. I've just lost interest in watching this 11 to 10 man game, though the challenge by Barrios was quite reckless. If Atletico madrid fail to draw this game, then it is their second loss since having a long run. And while still writing, Atletico madrid just pulled one goal back to level the game. Not sure if it's a game ON for them because they are already one man down, but securing a draw would do more good than harm.

And as for Liverpool, just saw that they didn't use their usual first eleven. Not sure if this is the game that they should work hard for because they've qualified for the next round already. Salah gave them the lead, but I think we might see maybe 1 or 2 more goals. And while still writing, the Liverpool game is now 1-1.

And as for Barce, it seems they only prepare more for their El clasico games than other games. It's still 3-1, and I don't see any comeback happening here. But from my calculations, they've qualified for the next round already.

Aston Villa is currently continuing to press the match. Monaco is trying to maintain its advantage. If they can maintain this advantage, they may be able to equalize and then score the winning goal. If they continue like this, Monaco will defend well in the defensive zone and may score another goal with a counter-attack. Atalanta scored the second goal in the other match played, and the score of this match seems to have been more or less shaped. What I am curious about right now is the Monaco - Aston Villa match.
The game is now over and Aston Villa couldn’t do anything at the end. They lost the game right from the very start because of how they approached the game in the early minutes of the game. They didn’t play well from the beginning and I was very disappointed in them because i didn’t expect them perform like that I expect them to play better but they allowed Monaco to score them. They were very poor in the first half that I was not impressed and didn’t watch the second half although I thought they would equalize and end the game with a draw at least.

Bayer Leverkusen are a goal up in Madrid although i think it’s because of the red card Atletico Madrid received in the game. It will be difficult for them to find their self in the game now or even equalize, what they can do is to defend and try not to concede more goals.

Reckless challenge from Barrios, how could you raise your stud that high? After the VAR check it was the right call from the referee to have shown him the red card. Leverkusen are definitely going to capitalize on that and may be add more goals in the second half of Atletico Madrid are not careful.

Barcelona are receiving it hot from Benfica right now as they are trailing 3-1 HT, Benfica are reaping their high line apart, more goals to come in the second half, maybe Barcelona will respond or Benfica will add more, either ways, it will be a galore of goals awaiting.

That's the game of football we should be on the alert to expect the unexpected. It not a thing about Barcelona getting better only over Real Madrid. When you you're not the better team in any game to would have to risk losing points and that's what is happening to Barcelona in tonight's meeting with Benfica.

And the hat-trick scorer Vangelis Pavlidis seem to have goal scoring history with Barcelona whenever a team he's playing for meets Barca. However, it's not over yet, still have another 45 minutes to bolt up and force the game to a draw or they could come from behind to steal all three points over. Can Hansi Flick and his boys make that happen? Let see!

In another game tonight, Liverpool Vs Lille, the Reds have taking the leading position in that game with a stellar goal from the Egyptian M. Salah with an assist from Jones a great pair to that beautiful goal there in the first half.
