Psg vs Real Madrid, it’s the clash of 2 heavyweights, 2 strong dominating clubs in their various domestic leagues, we all know all how powerful the attacking force that PSG is and how well the three big players can change, win or turnaround any game, but Real Madrid are favorites to me. It will be a very interesting match to watch I’m expecting a lot of action from both teams.

It will undoubtedly be a very interesting game.
I think the team that will perform better will be the one that tactically shows itself to be more organized and that managed to cancel out the opposing team. It will be a game in which the coaches will play a very important role in organizing the team.

The match between Real Madrid and PSG is like a dream final but unfortunately, due to a technical error during the draw, the two teams had to meet early in the round of 16 (even at that time Real Madrid had protested, because their match against Benfica had to be canceled). What's interesting about this match is that Sergio Ramos (former Real Madrid captain) has to fight against his former teammates, and how did Mbappe perform against Real Madrid.

I don't think the fact that Mbappe will be playing against a potentially future club will have any effect on his performance. He's not a Real Madrid player yet, and if he plays well and brings a result, PSG will definitely be happy and pleased with the player(and the player even more so, because of the extra cash), and Real Madrid will want to buy him even more. However, thanks to this match, an equally interesting one was cancelled. MU-PSG, where Messi and Ronaldo could have met. It's been a long time since their last rivalry....

What Real Madrid is protesting is not that they don't want to play against PSG, but rather that UEFA did the re-draw due to a technical error. Real Madrid wants no re-draw, and even if the re-draw is still carried out, Real Madrid asks UEFA not to change the match between Real Madrid and Benfica. Unfortunately, Real Madrid's complaint was not approved by UEFA and the Champions League round of 16 schedules will be carried out according to the results of the re-draw.

You have to wonder if that is really the case. I doubt they will mind the technical error if they got Benfica in the re-draw instead of PSG. They will be delighted like Man United when they dodged that bullet hehe.

...

PSG's squad has a lot of star players. But considering the overall condition or performance of the team, Real Madrid will be ahead of PSG. If PSG wants to beat Real Madrid then the Mesi-Mbappe-Neymar trio must play well. They have to try to strengthen the defense. PSG goalkeeper Dannarumma is talented enough. PSG will win if they strengthen their forward and defense. Otherwise, it is impossible to win against Real Madrid, Real Madrid is a very tidy team. Their strategy is excellent.
I'm not sure how Real Mardid's overall condition or performance is better than PSG at the moment. I think the latter is in better form right now since Real Madrid has not been that dominant in their last two games in La Liga.

So far, Madrid performance in the group phase has been pretty good, even though they suffered 1 defeat but they only conceded 3 goals and this indicates that their defense is strong enough, while PSG may be unlucky in the group phase because they only finished runners-up in Group A.
But over time, PSG's forward line is now very dangerous because they have formed a cohesiveness between star players, so I think we will see a team that has a pretty good defense against a dangerous attacking line, and I agree with what you say, if in In this case, the coach's ability to see conditions and design game strategies has an important role in trying to win.
Who did they lose to? To Sheriff, a team who has been to group stages of champions league for the first time and a whole roster valuation less than just one player Real Madrid has, and they lost to them team. Which shows you, are they good enough to go up with only one loss, or are they bad enough to say they lost to Sheriff? Obviously they are generally good and just one had bad game with a shocking result, but that is basically what we are seeing in elimination games.

One bad game and you are probably out. Doesn't mean that PSG won't have that bad game neither, who knows? We have seen Barcelona beat Liverpool 3-0, and then Liverpool who missed Salah, ended up winning 4-0 in return. So, we can't really say that one team or the other will win, we just need to wait and see.

I am a fan of Real Madrid in this pair and naturally I understand that Real Madrid will not wait for a home game to win. If given the opportunity, they will do it in the first match, but still, I understand that playing at home gives certain advantages and that the decisive game will be in Madrid pleases me, since Real is especially strong there.
We're in the same boat friends, but as you said being at home will always give you an advantage but not all like that I think.
Both teams still have quite good chances but of course as a fan I want them to win but on the other hand as football fans we also have to judge pretty well from every opportunity that exists.
I feel that there will always be pressure for teams that travel to their respective bases, I think because the atmosphere will be different when playing away and playing at home.

If I understand correctly, Neymar is still recovering from injury, Messi is already in the ranks, but his game is far from the one he showed in Barcelona. The only one holding the level is Mbappe, but Real Madrid have corresponding players who are consistently good, so I agree with you that PSG has more stars only on paper. These will be equal games and no one here can be considered a favorite.
I think the decision of this game will be won in the details. A well-marked corner, an incredible free-kick, or a very well-crafted play where everything goes well.
Afterwards, it will depend on the health and mental state of the players of both teams.

In turn, the bookmakers, point to the victory of PSG, because of its squad. In terms of squad, it's better than Real Madrid, there's no doubt about that.

PSG have a better team than Madrid, but as a team I just don't know yet. There are also no sick players in that Madrid team. Moreover, Messi has not shown much at PSG either. I think it's about 60-40% for PSG to advance to the next round. Madrid is in a good flow at the moment, it is also possible that Madrid will continue. It should be about time that PSG would win the title. If not this season, when should they? Messi is not going to stay forever.

You are right. PSG have more star players compared to RMA but I personally think that RMA has better team chemistry compared to PSG.

For example, the Benzema-Vinicius duo is doing insanely good this season and we already know how good the Kroos-Modric-Casemiro trio is in the middle of the park.

But PSG's front trio Messi-Neymar-Mbappe are still not having the needed chemistry and that might be a big factor.

I really didn't know there was a protest being raised, because I think everyone will always accept who their opponent is. It doesn't seem possible to have a protest because if it could be done, then at least there would be a lot of other clubs who would protest when they get tougher opponents or something like that. Matches that are considered early finals have often happened before, so for me they will still accept it without being accompanied by a protest.

What Real Madrid is protesting is not that they don't want to play against PSG, but rather that UEFA did the re-draw due to a technical error. But I'm not expecting a boring match. A match between two of the biggest teams in Europe is never boring. Yes both the teams are really good at their own attack and defense and will cancel out each other as you said and maybe we won't have a high scoring game, but the hype and thrill will be there there's no denying that and we'll get to see top-class attacking football.
It is possible because anything can happen in any match but indeed, because both are big teams, there is little chance for a boring match and no one expects that to happen. PSG basically have more star players even down to their goalkeeper, but the fact is PSG are not strong enough in defense and I really regret that result. Because if PSG could win big with clean sheets more often, then I would choose PSG to win but so far PSG have not made that achievement, so it becomes a doubt I think.

Real has a great offense, but a bad defense, psg has a great offense but a bad defense. This is the key for a great game. I can see a game where it ends like 5-2 to anyone's side, PSG probably but anything could happen. Those type of games are the most fun to watch, games where there are tons of goals. I get that 0-0 has a place in football, we have seen games where it is fun.

However, in my nation we have a joke about "watching the 90 minutes repeat of lecce-cagliari 0-0 game", because sometimes games are just way too boring and you do not want to see 0-0 in a game where you know players could have scored 5+ goals total. This is also a great game to wager 5.5+ goals as well, it almost always pays a great odd because there is rarely ever 6 goals or more in a game, sure it happens but rarely. This could be one of those days, I do not know, it could be 0-0 too, but I am going to try to wager on that.
No, I have to disagree with you,If you said RMA had a bad defense in the starting of the season,

I would have agreed with you as both Alaba and Militao were making mistakes. But now, they have really good chemistry in the back and if you look at their games, their defense looks solid. They have great positioning and also very good man-marking ability. But I am hoping for a really enjoyable game and may the best team win.

It's funny that the draw for the Champions League last 16 this season had to be done twice regardless of non-technical errors but there was a lot of speculation about this to prevent one of the clubs between Manchester United and PSG from facing each other in the round of 16. During the first draw, Madrid was supposed to be against Benfica, but Madrid's re-draw met with PSG, but I think Madrid is still ready for whoever the opponent is and I'm still optimistic that I can qualify for the quarter-finals.

PSG is considered the favorite in this pair and at the moment the quotes for the first match are as follows:‍
2,00 - 3,80 - 3,60
I think they are more or less fair, although it seems to me that Real Madrid will not be much weaker here. Real Madrid have the advantage that the decisive second leg will be played in Madrid, perhaps this will help them tip the scales in their favor.

PSG are considered as the favourite and it is normal I guess. But neither bookmakers nor people should underestimate Real Madrid ever in this matchup. Real Madrid are having one of their greatest season in the recent times. And they want to take advantage of it as good as possible. Real Madrid wouldn't play timidly in Parc des Princes. They would even aim a win here to be more advantageous in the rematch. They are very dangerous in attacking and PSG should be cautious against them.

I am a fan of Real Madrid in this pair and naturally I understand that Real Madrid will not wait for a home game to win. bookmakers give results based on their statistics
but I'm not so sure
PSG win 1.9
Read Madrid win 3.5
draw 3.8

I honestly didn't place any bets for this match, I see it as very difficult (but I hope beautiful)

That's the bumb right there. The team that is able to prove itself tactically because, both teams are really good. Infact, PSG seem to have a better squad if you look at it, when compared with Real Madrid especially at its forward in Neymar Jnr, Kylan Mbappe and Linoel Messi. Fortunately for Real Madrid, they've got a better experience with the league than PSG and that might just be all they need to win this round. It's not going to be an easy game at all as, it would mean PSG's chance to lift the trophy for the first time, having such a kill squad that needs to prove its worth.

PSG - Real Madrid would definitely be a great game. These teams both like to play an attacking football. Taking this into account, we might watch many goals in both of the games of the draw. Real Madrid are really an unpredictable team. I see them as one of the candidates of the title. If Chelsea became the champions last season when not many people were waiting for it to happen, why wouldn't Real Madrid do it too?  Grin  But it is still difficult of course. They have PSG as an opponent which are one of the biggest candidates.
