There can be very exciting matches in the round of 16 matchups. If there are matches like Bayern Munich-Inter, Real Madrid-Paris SG, we can watch more exciting matches. if real madrid is playing against chelsea or PSG it will be as if real madrid had won the lottery, chelsea is in bad shape and PSG is the same thing as chelsea, they have defense problems especially PSG can't beat teams big, the real madrid would win easily
As scheduled, the first leg for the round of 16 will be on February next year. Means, there are many times for any team to change and improve. You say Chelsea and PSG is in bad shape, do you think they will always stay in bad shape?
Remember, there will be also transfer window in January where any team can improve their squad by purchasing some new players. So even if Real Madrid will be playing against Chelsea/PSG, it does not mean that it will be an easy opponent for Real Madrid.
PSG has already spent a lot of money and has good players, I doubt they bring any player that is better than the players currently on PSG, chelsea has good players too and I doubt they blush in despair for any player... chelsea is with a problem in defense maybe it's tired, but even if they get better I doubt they'll beat the real madrid, PSG don't have a chance unless they change coach and the players stop being lazy
No one knows, good players does not always fit to the team and the strategy. What I mean to say is that there is a chance for them to improve, there is still a lot of time to evaluate the team and they know what to do to improve the team.
PSG and Chelsea, they are not a small team who want to stay in bad shape without doing anything. Saying they are in a bad shape currently as a reference for the next match that will start in the next few months does not make senses for me. I might be agreed if the next match is within few days only.

Yes, Barcelona only has big names that have triumphed in the Pep Guardiola era but after that they gradually fell into a weak team like today. If there are no big players they can bring in then it is difficult for Xavi to achieve anything with Barcelona unless the players really work hard to win every match. Dembele needs time to become an important player on the pitch, but he seems to be playing far enough from goal that I only see him as an assist sender not a goalscorer. If he wants to play more freely then I believe he can be a great winger in this era.

I was amazed at Villarreal's gameplay and fascinated at the same time. I never thought they would win. They were 3-0 up in the 71st minute of match time. I think they played well, but their luck helped a lot to win this match. They have made a total of 9 shots, of which they have managed to score 3 goals. Atlanta, on the other hand, dominated the entire match, taking a total of 19 shots. Yet they did not win.
Perplexed at how Atalanta failed to win this crucial game.

With the end of the Atalanta-Villarreal match, the group stages of the champions league came to an end. An unexpected defeat came from Atalanta. Villarreal managed to win away. The match ended 3-2 and Atalanta scored 2 goals in the last 10 minutes. Maybe if they had scored earlier, they could have won a draw or a win.
Villareal have confirmed themselves to be the last club to qualify for the round of 16 after beating atlanta with a score of 2-3, since the first half began villareal looked attractive by continuing to attack and able to score quickly, I think in that match atlanta were unlucky with quick goals from Villareal and put them under pressure in the first half, after conceding 3 goals it seemed that atlanta had started to be brave enough to be active in attacking but unfortunately the two goals created in the second half were not able to make them avoid defeat to Villareal. 
I got bored when I saw that Villarreal made the score in favour of them by 3-0 until the first minutes of the second half already. But Atalanta's attempt to turn the game around was really worth watching. They scored two goals in only nine minutes and made it 3-2. And there were still at least ten minutes to go. A probable one more goal by Atalanta would change everything about this match. But it didn't happen and Villarreal beat them by this score.
A balanced game was expected, and that's what we can see. Villarreal were better in the first half, Atalanta were better in the second half. In the end, Villarreal won.

Danjuma added 1 goal in 2nd half that make it more difficult to repress back. Villarreal really impressed me. After all, leading against Atalanta 3:0 is serious thing. Especially considering that Villarreal don't score much this season. On the other hand, Atalanta defence is really poor this season, clean sheet would be big achivement for them.

They don't belong to the Champions League for now and they are already eliminated from it too.

For Barca it was all about yesterday and they played against an opponent who was already qualified. And then to play so badly, that is very sad to see although I am not a fan of Barca at all. Maybe we are prejudiced now about Barcelona as the coach change is still new. And it is obvious that they need time to develop their game plan more.
