I watched the Manchester City v PSG match and it was quite good. I would have liked to see a better PSG in this match but I understand them too as it is really tough to have the control against Manchester City in Etihad. Manchester City had the control of the game most of the time and won by 2-1. PSG caught them by surprise as they scored first. But Manchester City still didn't back down of course and it was a well-deserved win. Congrats to them!

If you look at the EPL schedule, the relaxed play mode in the last round of the Champions League group stage will probably become more obvious to you. Liverpool will play Wolverhampton on December 4th and Aston Villa on December 11th. Given the fact that Liverpool has all the chances to become champions this year, what is the point of wasting precious energy in an unnecessary match on December 7th?

Actually there is no such thing as wasting energy it's just that they don't want to risk getting injured, Resting the main players is not a good idea because there are negative impacts they can still be played but with a shorter duration for example substitutions in the last minute between in 80-90 minutes or can play in the first half or the 2nd half.

Who's taking good note of the statistics of Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandez ??
Sine the start of the Champions League, Ronaldo has scored in all of the games, five goals in total.
Bruno Fernandez has assisted five times in all of the five game's in the Champions League.
This duo's are Superb.

But is that enough to prepare them for Chelsea? Hopefully it can happen again or it will be very difficult to repeat something. In front of them are players who are ready to perform optimally in all sides of attack and structured strategy. Meanwhile, Manchester United are still discussing how to go forward regarding the manager, who also has no legal agreement. The Manchester United camp was not only focused on the game but on the management of the Manager who barely found the final match.

Yes, there is always such a possibility that the reserve squad, having more physical strength and great motivation to prove themselves, will play stronger than the main squad, but still, in most cases this does not happen (simply because the main squad is better in all characteristics). Compared to Milan, where the entire club (including analysts and all players) will prepare for this match as for the last (which it really risks becoming), then I doubt that Liverpool will be just as strongly inclined towards an uncompromising game.

Liverpool have now indeed locked their qualification ticket with 15 points, but that doesn't mean it will make Liverpool play less serious in their last match against Milan, I think Liverpool will still be aiming for a win in that match to complete their journey this season, but as you can see say, maybe they will field some substitutes and save their core players, but that doesn't mean  will be an easy match for milan, because I think liverpool reserves player will play all out to show their prowess in that match, other than that I see if the reserve squad owned by liverpool is no less great with the quality possessed by their current main team.

Only luck that can help Milan and Atletico Madrid to be able to qualify for the next stage while Porto is included in a safe position
Milan must have difficulty defeating Liverpool and Atletico cannot do much while playing away in such condition it should be a boon for porto
Don't underestimate Atletico Madrid because I don't think they still have a chance to win the last game vs Porto just to qualify for the next round. Although I doubt AC Milan, these three team still have a chance to qualify for the round of 16 and the fight for 1 ticket will be very stressful in the last match. Liverpool are hard to beat, so Milan have only the smallest chance of qualifying compared to Atletico Madrid or Porto. I support Atletico Madrid to qualify, they look worthy to be given the chance to get to the next round.

After four weeks of having no victory, Milan have finally got their first one against Atletico Madrid in the away match. They were the far better side just as they were like this in the match in Italy until getting a red card. This time, the scenario wasn't the same and Milan finally found a goal in the last minutes and won by 1-0. And as Liverpool beat Porto by 2-0 too, Milan are only one point away from the 2nd place. By the way, they have taken the 3rd place from Atletico Madrid after defeating them.

As for the last group matches, there are Porto v Atletico Madrid and Milan v Liverpool matches. The excitement level is going to be really high. And I would really like to see Milan advancing to the next round.

AC Milan managed to get their first win in the Champions League and this allowed them to breathe a little easier before facing Liverpool in the last match, the victory against Atletico Madrid made their chances of qualifying for the last 16 slightly open, because later they only needed to beat Liverpool and hope if Atletico Madrid drew with Porto, but if Porto manages to beat Athletico, of course AC Milan will only be in third position, but if AC Milan wins against Liverpool and Athletico beats Porto, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid qualification will be determined by head to head or difference goals later.
Porto, Milan and Atlético Madrid have the same opportunity in their last match - each club to ensure qualifying as second place to accompany Liverpool who successfully came out as group winners. AC Milan will face a life and death match and must get the full three points against Liverpool, but on the other hand the match between Porto vs Atletico Madrid must end in a draw or Atletico win.

Only luck that can help Milan and Atletico Madrid to be able to qualify for the next stage while Porto is included in a safe position

Oh yeah that makes sense, I didn't think before of course Liverpool don't want to take the risk but we'll see if Liverpool play with the second squad or the main squad
Regarding Porto I believe they can qualify because they have some advantages. Let's wait for the next match.
I think Milan has a better chance of beating Liverpool than Porto beating Atletico. It just so happened that Liverpool no longer need this game and everyone understands this, and Atletico after the defeat at home from Milan will be very well tuned in to the game, I am confident after Simione in the locker room after the match, told them everything that he thinks about the players.

I don't like how Athletico Madrid are playing lately, getting bad results at the end of it all, they would win a game and get back to square one lossing vital games.
They be having less injured players at the moment, could it be from the current tactics or what ??
I don't see them getting a qualification for the next round.

AC Milan should get ready to face Liverpool and think about how they are going to beat them. It will not be an easy task by any means. But they have to make a plan and stick to it. Liverpool is currently in great form so it will be a lot harder for AC Milan to beat them.
As far as Atletico Madrid vs Porto is concerned, I think Atletico Madrid will win that and if that happens then AC Milan has a real good chance of qualifying.

yes but let's reflect, when you hope to go to the next round, because your opponent has to lose
you're not in very good shape

that is, in my opinion, even if it passes, it will be eliminated later .. much to my chagrin (obviously I'm not happy)

I think that Liverpool should play some of their bench players or maybe reserve players who need to have some playtime. As they have already qualified for the next stage and I don't think they will sweat it against Milan. But I still don't think that the match will be e even a little easier for Milan. Milan has to give it their best and not think about Liverpool taking it easy on them.

If Milan beat demotivated Liverpool in the last round and advance to the next round, it will be an impressive comeback. The situation in the group is just ridiculous now: Liverpool has more points than the other three clubs combined  Grin
An equally interesting situation in group G: the teams have 5,6,7 and 8 points, respectively.

Why would Liverpool be demotivated though? They played guys like Minamino and Origi, and also even played that youngster whoever his name is who also made two back2back debuts in EPL and UCL.

I think if I was the guys selected to play I would be motivated first to play well against a big old club in Italy and second to show my manager what he is missing out if he doesn't select me Smiley

A loss to City by PSG doesn't look that great but considering they got the first game I would say it is totally fine. The only problem is that they have a tie with Leipzig and Brugge which never really made sense to me. Leipzig doing horrible at bundesliga right now and not like how they were last season, and brugge is ... well brugge. In any case, PSG needs to do a bit better, but it is totally understandable to be failing in chemistry so far, they are going to get better and play much better together the more games they play.

Sherrif seems to actually did alright for themselves, considering they worth 10% of most stars as a whole roster, I would say getting that 2 wins was more than enough for them, now they will move to Europa and probably lose there too but getting this far is more than enough for a team like that. Aside from that nothing really worthy of talking happened, the games were pretty tame.
Even when PSG scored the first goal,I was so confident that Mancity will win the match because of the way Mancity was playing. The aggression in their play was too much, that PSG had no choice, but to concede.
Although PSG surprised me,because I thought they won't be able to get even a goal, but they scored first.

The Champions league is between Chelsea,Bayern,Mancity and Liverpool. The latter have been really impressive too,and are very aggressive in their play.
PSG's game is getting less and less with Mancity players, I don't think Messi can do anything about his attack, it's like dying in Mancity's defense, so I think PSG from a mental point of view are still not ready and dominate Mancity more confidently.
Even though PSG lost and could still qualify for the next one, I think there will be more pressure later and PSG must be ready with all their concentration so that their game stays organized.
From the kick statistics alone, it is still much different from Mancity.

Had Haaland not been injured, Ebong would have had the opportunity to play in all of the Champions League matches, perhaps we would have seen a better performance than Dortmund. Dortmund is a good team though. Yet they still rely heavily on Haaland for goals. The players are also mentally stronger and chairful when Haaland is in the team.
Dormund have to learn how to win matches, even if Haaland is playing or not. They always depends on him, and when ever he is not playing, Dormund finds it difficult scoring goals. If you observe, they dominated in their match against Sporting with 65% ball possession, but they couldn't score more goals. It seems the presence of Haaland means a lot to the players. Unfortunately, this is the end of the road for them in the Champion League this season.
