AC Milan has just lost in Serie A, in the UCL they still haven't get a single victory. This certainly has an effect on the mentality of Milan players. It's a tough game, and this streak of negative results will mean Milan will have to play hard in order to win. even I think Milan will lose again in this match.. I hope I'm wrong, Milan can get 3 points, at least it gives a chance to be able to play in UEL even though it failed in UCL. Is there any luck for AC Milan in these conditions?

Barcelona managed to get their first win with their new coach Xavi against Espanyol by 1-0 in the La Liga. It is time for the Champions League now. They have Benfica as the next opponent ahead. It is also going to be played in Camp Nou and this is another good advantage for Barcelona.

Playing at the Camp Nou is Barca's main weapon. They should have a better mentality. But Benfica are not a weak team they are not easy to beat. I think the Barca players are adapting to Xavi, so I wouldn't bet on a big win. Tomorrow is a revenge mission and the match is the first Debut Xavi . They should have been able to win by a margin of 1 goal. That will be the decider to qualify for the next phase.

It is also going to be played in Camp Nou and this is another good advantage for Barcelona. Their last head-to-head ended horribly for Barcelona (3-0 loss). And this is a crucial game for Barcelona to guarantee promoting to the next round of the CL. If they win this game, Benfica will lose their chance of promoting before even the last games are played. I hope that Barcelona can win this.

Judging by the last match, Barcelona cannot boast of a good game. Benfica lost big to Bavaria (but managed to score 2 goals) and after that won two big victories (in the domestic tournament). In my opinion, both teams are far from the best shape, the result of the match looks very random, but it seems to me that in any case you should not bet on the victory of Barcelona (odds 1.66) as the risk is much higher than the profit. Considering Benfica's performance, the bet on the fact that 2-3 goals will be scored in the match (odds 2.06) looks interesting.

Xavi is left with another bigger task ahead after defeating Espanyol with a narrow victory and it wouldn't be an easy task against  Benfica even with the home advantage at camp nou but Barcelona just have to secure their space for the next level in the champions league I still have some sort of confidence in Xavi something can be done to.salvage this

Many people underestimate the strength of Ajax. I would not be surprised if they can get get it into the final, depending of the drawings of course.
Can you really blame us if we don't think they can win against top teams in Europe? Great for them for doing well in their own group with a perfect record but they'll be facing tougher competitions next. We'll see how they do in the round of 16 and QF before we talk about the Finals. One step at a time.

I agree. Yes Ajax has a pretty strong team and did very well in their group so far but you also have to look at the other teams of this group. Sporting and Besiktas are only tier 3 teams in Europe at the moment in my opinion. Dortmund is a tier 2 team (just as Ajax) and in theory should be even a little stronger then Amsterdam, but when those 2 teams played against each other Dortmund was not in really great shape and did not have the momentum on their side as they had like 8 injured players including very important ones like Haaland and Guerreiro. So yes Ajax did a brilliant job so far in the group stage but we also must consider the circumstances.

Champions League group E leaves only one team slot that will qualify and be contested by Benfica and Barcelona who will compete this week, the two teams are currently only two points adrift. Barcelona is in second place with 6 points while Benfica is in third place with 4 points, two games remaining but if Benfica manage to get three points they are very lucky because in the last match Barcelona had to face Bayern. Barcelona Vs Benfica match become a life and death match for both teams to be able to ensure qualification for the round of 16 alongside Bayern, which has already been confirmed to qualify as group winners.

Ajax so far has shown a pretty good performance in both the league and champions league, although not the favorite team to win the champions league but I see if ajax might give a surprise this season in the champions league, as far as I see, this season ajax has proven if they don't may be underestimated by other clubs and I hope that in the drawing later ajax will get a balanced opponent with them.

At the moment, the odds of Ajax winning the Champions League are 20.On the one hand, these are negligible odds compared to favorites - City 4.5 and Bayern 4.95, but this is higher than Real 24.2 Atletico 33 and Barcelona 50 (lol ). I think this can be considered a significant recognition that Ajax looks very strong this season.

Messi should not be returned to the club, even if he wants to and even if he agrees to play for free. Barcelona needs to build a new team with new faces. Even the return of Alves is a step back. If Barcelona wants to go forward, then you need to boldly discard the past. Hold on to the past. will not give anything good to the team, but will only delay the development.
I knew if Messi will leave Barcelona, it will be tough on the club and it will be a worst season for them, a league that is not competitive for Real Madrid and Barcelona is now a league that is not competitive for only Real Madrid. But Barcelona at 5th on the table is not that bad, we all know how Messi is very important for the club. It will be good if the manager can set up a good new squard to make Barcelona a better club as it once was before. But I noticed Barcelona had peak performance most in Messi time.

How could they think that Messi was the problem, when Messi even said that he will play for half of his wage just to play for Barcelona. I think the board has become delusional and cannot take any decision with A straight mind.
Instead of accepting the blame for their mistakes they are looking for a scapegoat, the problem is that it does not make sense at all to blame Messi, he was one of the main reasons Barcelona has been as successful as it was, he brought a lot of revenue to the club by selling their merchandise, brought a huge number of fans which increased the revenue they got from TV rights and he did not managed the money of the club, besides by creating this kind of fight between the club and Messi they are forcing the fans to pick a side, and most of the time the fans will side with the player that has brought them so much joy over the years.
Everyone has the right to their point of view, but in my humble opinion it is extremely stupid to associate the current not the best position of Barcelona with the figure of Messi. I think Messi may well play for Barcelona not even for half of his current salary, but for one percent Wink But not now, but in a few years when the career of a football player will already be at sunset and the football player will at least want to help his hometown club, like Alves who agreed to play for the lowest salary in the club Grin Well, now, while Lionel is still in a pretty good condition, the hopes of Messi returning to the club for the sake of playing for pennies are very, very naive.

The Champions league brings the best teams from around the world together, and with all due respect Ajax are a good team but currently we have several good better teams in it as well, we have teams that are defending champions, finalists and regulars of the competition you name them and frankly  I don't see these guys anywhere near the quarters.

If we have a few names to bring on board that can possibly win it, it has to be either Bayern Munich or Liverpool...indisputable  Smiley
Still on 1st round that possible anything change can happen in the future. Ajax so far is very well together with Juventus, Bayern, and Liverpool. I believed all of them might be continue at least on the big 8 teams who qualified. but we have winter windows transfer, that is possible the big change happens when another team builds up the formation like Chelsea, City, and Barcelona. Which have perfect points isn't enough to qualify as Champion until several next months.

Just because they thrash Sporting now several people appear saying that they are the best team.
I'm kidding, I know you didn't say that, but we have several great teams with the potential to advance and reach the finals, my bets right now for each of the groups are: Ajax (obviously), PSG, Liverpool, Inter, Bayern, United and Chelsea.

There are a lot of good big teams, and the championship is just beginning, so it's hard to make a more accurate bet, only time will tell what will happen

2 days at this crucial turn, some big teams can be already out after their game.

We also have big games like Chelsea - Juventus but both teams are already in the final stage so they will not play at their 100%

Milan needs a miracle not only to pass the turn but also to get a hope in the last game in 2 weeks, it is almost impossible for them.

and if United will lose...

I think authorities cannot take the chance of spreading covid-19 at any cost. so, I think, I will watch the match without any fans rather than watching the news of some more dead people. It may be unpleasant but you have to endure at the moment.
~

it's become an advantage for barcelona itself though and but the odds for barcelona to win would be lowered due this , too bad i was hoping for barcelona to win as an underdog in this difficult situation against bayern, still the odds would be pretty high .

Barcelona against Bayern Munich is going to be an interesting match Bayern Munich just faced a loss against Augsburg. So they will be really focused in the next match and meanwhile, Barcelona is trying to redeem themselves from all the problems and hard situations. I do think that Bayern Munich is going to win that match.
Sure they are.

but im more interested in betting against the odds!
barcelona to win or draw seems pretty good one. xavi might give them a real surprise at their own home. this is indeed sounds like stupid idea but yeah thats what im doing , despite there is a lot of factor why bayern munich going to win this one easily .. but i see something else there!
a draw more likely to happened rather a win .. yet im going dor both!
