I know Barcelona fans don't deserve this or rather Barcelona themselves but the authorities didn't think of that at the right time because this situation didn't occur in one day. It took a long time for Barcelona to come to this situation. So let's give them time and hope for the best.

Who are those that dragged Barcelona to this mess? The board or management right?
Before we become so hopeful of resuscitation, let's ask our selves the following questions:
1. Are all the problems identified?
2. Is there a road map to solving the problems?
3. Is it right to trust the people that created the problems to solve it?
As far as I know, Barcelona's problem is more of financial than managerial.

You can be financially down as a club and still grow the best squad hurting teams in your league, at first Barcelona has a style of play that suits them and specific set of players suit's this style of play called tiki taka.
The introduction of Koeman wasn't a good one, being a Barcelona legend and not know how to implement that placed the team in a bad shape,things like this happens but the job was too big for Koeman to handle,more from a manager than financial issues...else he won't have been sacked.

Its quite a pity that i have realized they cannot really do much without Messi . Benfica messed up the good points i staked on them to win notthham forest back then and ever since then, i haven't been stable to know about their game play but for Augsburg, they ain't just gonna get over Bayern anyways i believe that Bayern,even without much sophistication will still win them

their performance was so reversed when in UCL and in Serie A. but that can be based on the fact that they have been absent from the UCL for a long time and it is certain that there will be differences when playing here and in series A.

Milan are one of the most disappointing teams in this season of the Champions League. Because their incredible rise in the Serie A was very exciting for their supporters. After many years, we were going to watch them in this big tournament. But they have got awful results so far. In the first four games they played, they got zero win and lost three of them. Their chance is not too high for even the third place now. And they are going to play an important game against Atletico Madrid away. ^ I am having good vibes about Barcelona for this match and I do think Barcelona will win. And I really think that the players are giving their 100% in every match but it's just because the management wasn't right. It can't be that players are playing with fever and the team is losing because players are not committed. But I think this will change now.

We just hope Xavi will take Barcelona to a better place.we hope he brings back glory at the club,he is a legend who did very well in his days at FC Barca,him alongside Andre Iniesta were best of friends,and they had the best midfield.Therefore,building Barca back to how they play games in those days should be Xavi's priority.
They have couple of players that can make that happen,that can determine games,so under Xavi,that game is a win win for Barcelona.

It's not really clear what to expect from Barcelona right now. The players in the team remained the same, there was no any updates, but we also know many examples when the whole problem was in the psychology of the players. Here, a lot will really depend on Xavi, how strong a tactician and psychologist he is, how much he knows how to work with players. Benfica is an excellent opponent to check if there are any changes in the team, or everything remains the same.
