Seeing the existing squad, of course, Manchester City is considered to be the favorite for the Champions League champions this season, but in the domestic league Manchester City has been beaten three times by Chelsea during the Tuchel coaching in recent weeks, including in the semi-finals of the FA Cup and Premier League, I think Chelsea seems to be will play in the same way, as the previous victory, especially the victory against Madrid shows the extraordinary courage of the Chelsea players, the majority of the current Chelsea squad is filled with young players.
I think Pep Guardiola will return to using the false-nine system of play (without a pure attacker), to face a strong Chelsea defense, but of course Tuchel's experience so far and also tactical in his style of play makes me believe that Chelsea will win the Champions League this season.
Pep Guardiola will certainly continue to learn from 3 defeats against Chelsea in the domestic league. He (pep guardiola) will not make the same mistake in the UCL final. Especially after being bought by Sheikh Mansour, Manchester City has never won a UCL trophy, now that opportunity is before them, I think Pep Guardiola will instruct his players to press Chelsea during the match, in order to achieve the target of the club owner.

Yeah, Chelsea were really good against City in this season. So they know how to beat City in this final game also. Even if Guardiola prefers a different tactic, I think that Tuchel can find another solution not to be caught off guard. I like both of these teams actually but I feel like Chelsea may win the title.

I would not say that Chelsea was so much superior to City, in the direct confrontation.
Not counting the FA Cup, which is always a competition with many suppressions and difficult to predict what will happen, both teams have a victory and a defeat.
And if we look at the number of goals scored, City have 1 goal advantage. The curious thing is that both teams lost at home.

I personally no longer hesitate to bet on Manchester City and indeed, Tuchel has been great so far, but at least the Tuchel formation is a newly formed formation with the squad they have and this is certainly very different from Manchester City.

That is true. City are much more of a team as a group. Almost all of them have been working on this project for a few years and the contractions at this time were very specific and made up the squad very well. Add the fact that that team is already 2/3 years running after this goal, winning the Champions League. Will it be this year? We will see, but they are well equipped for that.
Not only that, Chelsea also have to be vigilant because Manchester City is ripe to prepare for the Champions League final, if you see yesterday's match Kevin de Bruyne was absent against Newcastle who reportedly suffered an injury which had actually improved.
and that's one of Pep Guardiola's strategies to really prioritize the final because Bruyne is a very influential player at City.
and throughout the Champions League match City has never been beaten which in my opinion is a good advantage in the final later.

Champions League final between two EPL clubs is slightly difficult to predict because England clubs play same football partern. However, it is worthy to note that Guadiola is more wounded than Tuchel in England in terms of UCL. Pep has suffered alot in the hands of Madrid and other clubs at round 16 and 8. So, this final is like a prayer answered.  So, I give it to Guadiola.
Even if Tuchel lost the day, he had already made positive impacts in the Chelsea.
So the wounded lion will win.
It is really hard to predict that who will be the champion. Both teams have the ability to win this match. But Manchester City's players are better and more experienced than Chelsea's. I think so. So I think Manchester City will be able to win the Champions League title. And I want to bet for Manchester City's vectrory.
Of course this Final is about Manchester City and it is no longer a difficult prediction because even you are sure about Manchester City itself, it is different if you cannot make a choice and it is something that is difficult to predict. About the result, it doesn't matter who wins, because if you already have a choice then it's an easy prediction. I personally no longer hesitate to bet on Manchester City and indeed, Tuchel has been great so far, but at least the Tuchel formation is a newly formed formation with the squad they have and this is certainly very different from Manchester City.
This match will be much more competitive. It is not possible to say which team will win. Pep Guardiola is certainly experienced and he has a remarkable squad. On the other hand, Tuchel has formatted his squad exceptionally well. The team is now much more stable and able to well perform with any strong team. So it is better to bet on the team of choice in this match. Even if defeated, it will not hurt for money.

In football, no game can be seen as a guaranteed victory. Especially the English teams, which is quite common for smaller teams to surprise the bigger teams.

I believe the game will be difficult for City, but in the end it will win.
I agree with you, in the EPL, the possibility of choosing a particular club to be a winner is a difficult thing, English premier league is the hardest league ever where you may not know what will happen next, when it comes to final matches, the outcome often looks to be surprising, who ever knew that Liecester could beat Chelsea in the recent final, but the reverse happened in league game yester

I don't understand why so many people here are talking about Chelsea... In my opinion Man City looks much stronger! I think they have no problem winning the Champions League... And win home and UEFA championships... Wink

People are talking about Chelsea because they will be a really serious threat. They are much more accustomed to Manchester City's gameplay and they know better what to do to be able to beat them in this final game. It will be a really tough game so I don't see City's victory as guaranteed.
This season's final match is of course not only talking about who deserves a trophy but also the rivalry and prestige of the coaches of the two clubs is also an interesting thing to discuss, I think Pep Guardiola will apply a different strategy when facing Chelsea in the final later, because in The last two meetings against Chelsea coached by Thomas Tuchel, Pep Guardiola's tactics are very easy to break and as a result Manchester City have suffered two defeats against Chelsea, and interestingly this is the first Champions League final for Manchester City in club history, so this will certainly be a burden which is very big for Pep Guardiola and the Manchester City squad, if you look at their meeting statistics this season, I would prefer for Chelsea to win and get their second champion league trophy in the final match.

Josep Guardiola's line-up has a well-defined identity but there are still a few doubts that the Spanish coach needs to resolve ahead of the final. The doubts mainly concern the role of left-back and defensive midfielder. Oleksandr Zinchenko and captain Fernandinho performed well in the return leg of the semi-final, providing cover and leadership for the team, while João Cancelo and Rodri are more offensive
In terms of the left back position for City, I expect Zinchenko to keep his place, he is a better option than either Mendy or Cancelo at left back, Cancelo is slightly better in attack, but what Zinchenko offers the team both in defense and attack is massive. In the defensive midfield role, I'm not sure who Pep is going to start, city need strong cover in front of the defense, and that's what Fernandinho is perfect at, but Rodri has also had a superb season playing in front of the City backline, Rodri will prolly start, and if City have something to hold on to, then I think Pep will bring in Fernandinho.
Pep should be adding 2 attackers; Sterling and Aguero to screw up the defense.
If you've been watching City's matches this season, you'll know neither of this players (Sterling & Kun) will play in the UCL final, except City are leading comfortably, then they could prolly get the final 10 or so minutes, they both have lost form and aren't impressing the manager to say the least, the same can also be said of Gabriel Jesus and Ferran Torres, they are all going to be more or less spectators on the 29th.

Let's discuss the possible line-ups for the final
It could be Zinchenko as a substitution. because Pep still uses Cancelo as a starter. in the other line, Pep should be adding 2 attackers; Sterling and Aguero to screw up the defense. And Chelsea, I guess Tuchel does not change the strategy much as the semifinals, he might not be wearing pure strikers upfront, I guess Timo comes as substitution on the second round, this is time for Pulisic and Havertz to contribution in center field and in front either.

Tuchel lost one final against PSG. Recently lost another one against Chelsea and this time to Leicester. I think this one will also lose. Especially the opponent of Manchester City. The team is stronger than Leicester and stronger than Bayern. And very eager to win the Champions League.
The both teams are eager to win the CL alike, not just City, Chelsea have won it before, just once though, but I'm pretty sure they'll be eager to make it two, Pep has won it twice, but that's a long time ago, Tuchel has never won it, but went as far as the final last season, everyone involved in the final needs this trophy, for pride, bragging right, reputation, to assert dominance etc.

City have dominated English football in the past decade, it's just the CL that has eluded them thus far, quite a lot of people believe that's the reason Pep was signed, he now has the opportunity to beat his chest as the only manager in City's history to have won every major trophy for them, it's going to be an enthralling final on the 29th, but I'm of the opinion that Pep will outwit Tuchel in the end.

This is a clash of the giants in terms of their history regarding finals and achievements and failures. Guardiola wants to get rid of the saying that he can only win with Messi, Tuchel wants to make it for the first time but Chelsea is losing steam just now. I would call that bad timing but a final is still a final. For him every game from now on will be a final and he can't even rotate within the team that much or he risks to lose the routine that has been built up within his team.

Hmm I won't call neither of the teams having a giant history but most likely a good recent history but so far City did not won a single international trophy so maybe it's time for that 2012 final when Chelsea had pure luck and a Drogba in monster mood to rotate around City and take the win and the tittle. Also Guardiola really lost ages from his life trying to win the UCL again with both Bayern and now with City so maybe it's time for him as Tuchel proved that he is a future coach that probably will win his title at some point , maybe even now but like I said the odds are with City and Pep.

With giants I rather referred to their close defeats, especially Manchester City. It is not like they've never been able to win it. The ways they were kicked out were sometimes unlucky or due to their inefficiency. In almost all cases they dominated the games. I know that is not what finally counts, but still in some games for City it felt like Bayern against Chelsea and as you mentioned, Bayern lost it despite 17:1 corners if I remember correctly plus a penalty in overtime.

@mv1986 initially I thought that Manchester City would easily win it, but Tuchel has shown that he’s not a newbie and by beating Pep twice, I believe that he has gained an psychological advantage going in this fixture. Also it’s pertinent to note that Chelsea strikers are goal shy, and that’s where they may lose the plot against City, hence I’m torn on whom to wager on for this finale.

Ederson; Walker, Stones, Rúben Dias, Zinchenko; Bernardo Silva, Fernandinho, Gündoğan; Mahrez, De Bruyne, Foden

I highlight 3 players, as being very important for City:
Ederson - He is one of the best goalkeepers today. It is very effective in putting the ball in play, for example in corners. It can be an excellent way to launch against quick attacks.
Rúben Dias - Perhaps the best hires that make this season. It manages to bring security to the defense, which allows the team to feel more secure when attacking.
Bernardo Silva - You may not be a key player, but if you are at your best and on an inspired night, it will be important to build very dangerous attack moves.

Chelsea
Like Guardiola, Thomas Tuchel has a well-established starting line-up, although his men are very adaptable. César Azpilicueta could be deployed in the three-man defence, with Reece James on the right of midfield. Marcos Alonso will compete for a starting berth with Ben Chilwell on the opposite flank, while Mateo Kovačić could be the one to beat Jorginho. Regardind the strikers, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulišić could add depth while Olivier Giroud could add weight to the attack.
Mendy; Christensen, Thiago Silva, Rüdiger; Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Kanté, Chilwell; Havertz, Werner, Mount
