I also think Atalanta have a chance to win the CL, maybe a small bet on them will be worthy.

The odds are not so good anyway, they are not stupid.

    Manchester City @ 3/1
    Bayern Munich @ 10/3
    PSG @ 5/1
    Barcelona @ 8/1
    Atletico Madrid @ 9/1
    Atalanta @ 10/1
    RB Leipzig @ 14/1
    Juventus @ 16/1
    Real Madrid @ 30/1
    Napoli @ 75/1
    Lyon @ 100/1

Real Madrid has better odds LOL

Something bust be wrong here.
Well they are losing 2-1  at bernabeu which means they conceded 2 goals and they have to score at least 2 to secure the situation.

But yeah with la liga title has been in their hand real madrid will have a full focus on Champions League, there's no better chance to get a very good price on a strong team like real madrid .. now or never to put your money on them.

If real madrid win they will face juventus or lyon ,
After that between barcelona, bayern munich, napoli or chelsea which yeah the odds are worthy.
The risk is there.

PSG will probably have a problem with match fitness. I don't know how they will prepare but most of other teams will be in perfect condition going into the CL games.

Even if PSG manages to play some friendly games, it will still be hard to reach the same level as their opponents. Considering it's a one-legged contest, there is no room for mistakes or extra preparations.

That's defnitely going to be a disadvantage for PSG. On the other hand you could argue that their players will be well rested after almost 5 months without any official matches  Grin I think Bayern and Leipzig have the best time schedule for the Champions League tournament in August. They had competition practice in the Bundesliga, still had time to give their players some days off for holiday and can now focus completely on the preparation for the remaining UCL matches. That's why I see Bayern as a big favourite to get the title this season.

Bayern is one the main favorites for CL title, but one should not leave out some other teams as well, primarily City, that is in great form at the end of Premier league
i would call for Atalanta as well, they are underdogs, but great team in great form
Leipzig does not have a team that could get the title, it is too much for them, IMO

Don't forget Real,  Barcelona and Juventus.
All this clubs have a lot experience in CL and excellent players which can take responsibility and make difference in such important matches.
Barcelona and Juve didn't play well in the last matches but CL is something completely different,  new beginning and new competition.
All clubs will start from zero and all clubs have chance.
Of course,  Real is in the most difficult situation but still have chance and I'm sure they didn't give up.

Bayern is going to win the Champions League only if Lewandowski is going to be on top form in all games.
They have a great team but teams like Real Madrid or Barcelona seem to be stronger.
Lewandowski is a player that should win a Champions League title with Bayern for sure.

They are PSG though? I mean I get it they will have lack of match fitness and they will have to work harder than their opponent and will be tired pretty easily etc etc however they are not anywhere near Atlanta level in talent so they should be easily beating them.

However this is champions league, I can't say that anything would shock me, there has been so many times when the smaller team beat the bigger team to move on, even happened last year plenty of times, so I think it wouldn't be a huge shock to anyone if that happened again. PSG could probably fix that issue with hardcore training and tiring players up, if you make them run like hell constantly and train every part of their body, even if it is not match level ready, it would be quite ready to go out there and do whatever they can.

I'm not sure that they can win Champions league, but I believe that can get through PSG. In single leg format their chances becomes better. Yesterday I watched their game in Serie A and I was simply amazed to see how they are playing. They scored almost 100 goals in Serie A season. Together with Bayern, Atalanta is hottest team in Europe right now.

In almost all countries and almost everywhere in the world it seems rules to bend for the rich people.I like the way Manchester City play and they are a good addition to Champions League in every year they play there. Now they even seem to be the nr 1 contestant to win the Champions this year.If they beat Real Madrid a true opportunity for them to win the Champions League.
That is the reason why Manchester City will continue to have ambitions against Real Madrid having to win because they have strong mental beliefs and this is also a chance because in the first leg they have won and we are just waiting for the final result of the second leg will this match be sweet fruit for Manchester city or vice versa?
Hmm this is difficult to predict with a large team that has a lot of CL trophy titles.

Am not a Manchester city fan, but for any one that loves good football and -will not face Manchester city at that point- will like to watch them in the UEFA champions league, this is good tidings for the citizens the famous noisy neighbors, they will become real challengers/contenders for the UEFA champions league, well so much for teams hoping if the come in at 5th place and have a shot at an UEFA champions league spot, every team now has to fight for the prestigious top four finish.

I agree here. Not a City fan, and even as a neutral I think most people will feel they are not a really "feel good" club and remember, they still got fined 10 million euros, so that is a HUGE fine and it means they did something wrong. Not cooperating was their crime I believe and this still says a lot about who they are.

That aside, the football they play now is worth watching so on the field, we are all happier to see City play, but sadder that the rules seem to bend for the rich.

I feel that financial fair play and justice just died yesterday 😀
Everything is about money of course and now there is no limits what others clubs like Paris SG can do and how much their rich owners can invest in new players.
Small clubs have no chance in this game any more and real sport just died.
Though I am a neutral when it comes to teams that play in the English Premier League, but I was very disappointed by yesterday's decision to lift that Manchester City ban. What's the point of FFP is some rich clubs can just circumvent the imposed bans and rules?  Embarrassed
Youre disappointed because the ban on Manchester city was lifted? Are you aware that Pep also demanded for an apology?
Which shows that there are political parties in every setting around the world because overstated sponsorship revenue and breaking of information in accounts submitted to UEFA is a serious violation and shouldn't be unpunished.

Of course, it's all about money. It was like this. That's so. It will always be like that. But in a few months, no one will bother, and it will continue. Maybe there will be a report here and there.  But otherwise it will just go on like this.

if those 3 players were here today manchester united would have a very good team. Best,Law and Charlton were top players on the highest level. then the guys from manchester could dream of the championship. these 3 players with the numbers 7,9 and 10 were really great players in the past

Of course, every team wants to finish in the Champions League but they will continue to try to get through it. I really like the game of Manchester City because with the extraordinary tactics that Pep has applied here, we are also sening with the news that mancity will not be sanctioned and this make confidence for those who will continue to struggle to advance to the semifinals.

Who will be even better this season at UCL? I should have hoped for Liverpool but they were able to be conquered by other teams so they fell. damn it Embarrassed

P.S. I have nothing against City players and especially Pep Guardiola, but City shouldn't play in next season Champions league.

Just for the sake of energizing the contenders for the top four spot in the premier league, I think I'm ok with the turn out of the appeal but wished it came early so the likes of United, Leicester and Chelsea could have up their game. They all were filling relax as all were confident of ending the season in top five which could have still guaranteed them a championship spot due to the City punishment (which has just been overturned).

Maybe in the remaining three games we'll see more determination as a result of this latest development, most especially from the Leicester and Chelsea teams because they have been the most inconsistent among others in the top five.

Ps: seems Pep has one more season to try and win or defend the title, good for him.

@tomahawk9, I'm not surprised about this decision at all. Unfortunately, it's all about the money. If some small club would be in same situation as City, I can't imagine same court decision. Well, but seems that rules aren't same for everyone, especially if you have deep pockets.
