It really doesn't make sense how Uefa is making these type of decisions. The level of difference just doesn't make sense. We have seen Galatasaray end up playing against a small team, a team that didn't even have a proper pitch, and end up getting a tie because they were not used to playing in those conditions, a 200+ million euro worth team against less than 10 million one.
And now we have seen Fenerbahce playing at home at least, against a team that nobody has ever heard of, makes no sense, at least give them to Europa cup so that they could play there a bit, second of Turkish league being in conference league makes no sense. This is why the odds were terrible, sure I won my bet, but it didn't even worth it to be fair.
C'mon, dude, you want to say that main reason why Galatasaray didn't won was pitch. I don't any strong arguments in your rant - everything is fair. If Turkish league would be a bit high on UEFA ranking, their 2nd team would go to Europa league, now it's not. And if your team is good enough, there shouldn't be any problem to beat these small teams.
but most interesting is Hibernians losing in Andorra, Scottish football teams are really reaching bottom sometimes, Inter Escaldes won 2:1, and Hibernians scored in overtime to have some chances in re-match next week
last year SF, Basel is losing at home against Tobol from Kazakhstan, 1:3, still some time to play
I said many times - level of Scottish league is joke if we exclude Celtic and Rangers. Tobol win against Basel is biggest surprise for me. Seems that 2 red cards played big role, it's enough to at Tobol stats in 1st and 2nd half. They also missed penalty. It will be difficult task for Basel to make comeback.
