Fenerbahçe played really well yesterday and we watched an enjoyable match.
Fenerbahçe's squad is really good this year and I think they can achieve something.
I hope they see the final this year.

Ferdi's goal was really beautiful.

There is so many games today, that's probably not worth to make deep insights about it, too much time consuming. Just sharing my bets. I go with CSKA Sofia, APOEL, Spartak Trnava, Farul Constanta, AEK Larnaka, Brugge, Osijek, Pogon and Rosenborg ML's. Then Bodo/Glimt, Ferencvaros and PAOK parlay. And going with over 2.5 goals in Ferencvaros - Shamrock Rovers, Lech - Zalgiris Kaunas, Austria Wien - Borac Banja Luka, Maccabi - Petrocub, Basel - Tobol and Brugge - Aarhus.
I know, there is lot of bets, going with low stakes, just interesting how many will pass.

Fenerbahche opponent was very weak, I'm sure that Galatasaray wouldn't have problems against them too. It's good to get such confident wins and avoid any headache in 2nd leg, considering that Turkish clubs just starting their season.

In the first leg of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League, Fenerbahçe defeated Zimbru at home 5-0. I expected Fenerbahce to get a comfortable victory at home. And so it did. At first I must say, Ferdi Kadıoğlu's goal was really spectacular. In addition to, Dusan Tadic has got honestly tremendously performance at yesterday. Also Dzeko's assist was excellent.

After seeing Galatasaray like that in the Champions League match I was thoughtful about Fenerbahçe a little as well. Because Turkish teams really surprise us even in such easy matches in European cups sometimes. Thankfully a similar scenario didn't happen for Fenerbahçe. It was absolutely a comfortable match for us. Ferdi Kadıoğlu's goal was really lovely to watch by the way. It was like all of our new transfers played an important role in this win here.

Dzeko's performance was also impressive with a goal and two assists. Maybe the opponent was weak but it is important for the players to increase their motivation more for the new season.

yeah, Turkwy dropped a lot on rankings, and Fenerbahce have to play this round against low level teams, so easy win over Zimbru was pretty much expected

Struga won over Buducnost, and Sabah won away match against RKS, it next round, winner from these two will play Partizan

intersting matches today, Ferencvaros is back after humiliation from Klaksvik in CL qualifications, Vojvodina plays on Cyprus against APOEL, seems as easy home win

Well problem was mainly Turkish club performance being very weak in last years. Turkey has only 4 spots for European football this season. In past it was always 5. We dropped a lot in ranking.
Fenerbahçe has very strong squad comparing teams that play in Conference League qualifiers in my opinion. They easily got this round I think next round will be easy as well. It will be get different only in play-offs where teams will get stronger overall.

It must be an indication that Fenerbahce's transfers so far have been spot on. Dusan tadic really played tremendously in this match. Maybe the opponent was weak but I still think it was a match where he really showed his experience and talent. The same can be said for dzeko. I can already see that these two will hurt a lot in the super league if they play like they did in this match. Besides that, a few more transfers are expected and if they come, I think they will not beat Fenerbahçe easily. Kent and syzmanski were also very good.

It was a very easy match for Fenerbahce... In general, I wonder why they got into the qualifying round and not straight into the group stages... Probably now it is the strongest club from those that play in this round... Maybe Dynamo Kiev and a few other teams of the same level... But Fenerbahce have scored a lot of goals so far and have shown that they are in great shape...

Fenerbahce will play its first match in the conference league today. Even though the opponent is an unknown team, it's best not to underestimate them. I expect Fenerbahce to get a comfortable win at home and hope for a good performance from the newly transferred players in the offense. All 4 of the attacking 4 are new signings and we can say that the expectations of the fans of Fenerbahce are high from these 4 players this season. In addition to these 4 players, we will also have the chance to see the new transfer djiku in defense. This seems to be the ideal squad as the other players are the ones whose performances we know more or less before.

Tonight, there are UEFA Conference League second qualifying round first leg. I will prefer to watch Fenerbahçe-Zimbru match. In my opinion, the favorite team is Fenerbahçe. I feel like we will watch a very enjoyable match. Fenerbahçe's starting XI against Zimbru: Altay, Osayi, Serdar, Djiku, Ferdi, Mert Hakan, Crespo, Szymanski, Tadic, Kent, Dzeko. Zimbru's starting XI against Fenerbahçe: Agachi, Gaiu, Stefan, Furtuna, Misaras, Macritchii, Dedechko, Djou, Raileanu, Alaribe, Samiev.

Nice one casper, I forgot you're from there (or neighbouring anyway) so should know these. I'll start paying attention a little later once I've got full functionality, but I really ought to keep an eye on markets for those tasty longshot odds, seem to be missing out on quite a few already.

Most of the club playing In this competition are unknown to most people that's why it seems a little difficult to predict the outcome of their games because peope barely view their games , however the only options I use in making predictions of unknown teams is making research of their previous match as well as  checking the head to head matches of the teams they're up against, the first qualifying round is over and from 25th of this month being Tuesday to 3rd of August, the second qualifying round would kick-off and I'm looking forward to seeing teams like Gent,Twente,FenerbahçeBeşiktaş,Clubrugge,Midtjylland,Legia Warszawa qualifying for the tournament

no teams from Serbia there
Maribor is from Slovenia, no teams from Slovakia either, Dudelange is from Luxembourg and Europa should be Gibraltar
but Torshavn is Faroe Island, if I am not wrong

Serbia is now at position 10, so we are skipping these early rounds in European competitions, and waiting Monday to see who will be Partizan rivals in Conference league for Group stage, we should have easier way, since we are in upper part in draw

Ireland, Luxembourg, Serbia, Slovakia, Gibraltar.

I'm only very sure of Linfield (their names are unmistakably Irish), and Europa FC were the target of my crazy bets 2 seasons ago. The rest I'm just guessing, feel free to correct me. Just like BSFL, Conference is getting us to know the fringes of UEFA club football, huh!

I know I been following for years when I actually surprised myself by recognizing some names from past seasons UCL and Europa lol

Linfield, Dudelange, Torshavn, Maribor even Europa FC!! Even not knowing where they are from, their names are famous enough for me;)

A rollercoaster of a match that was! I had Glentoran lock to advance, but they missed quite a few chances, including a penalty in the first half and a goal that was disallowed. Even that dramatic denouement couldn't save them...well, at least my lousy parlay survived.



For some reason, it reminded me of Rijeka's goal against Copenhagen, it has the same vibe!

At this stage there isn't that many results which can be called as huge upsets. Level difference between most of teams in 1st round isn't big and we barely can see somehwat big teams playing, unlike we already had in Champions league qualifiers. Some more interesting outcomes - Haverfordwest from Wales eliminated Shkendija after penalties. Their win was rated @7.50. Glentoran - Gzira game had very long penalty shootout which ended 13-14 in favour of Gzira.
In second round there will more stronger teams joining competition like Brugge, Twente, Basel and etc, also teams like Ferencvaros who were eliminated from Champions league. So, things become more interesting.

Damn, this is one of strangest own goals that I saw for a while. But even with this own goal, Dudelange still won the game and reached next round.

I barely recognise few of these teams playing in Conference League and Maribor is one of them that were able to move to the second qualifying round. The next game will be vs a team of Luxembourg and I assume they will succeed.
Puynik passed too and they will face a Swedish team called Kalmar. I think Puynik are favourite too.

The UEFA Conference League competition having been the third tier of European club competitions would definitely spring up scenes like the one in this video.
The quality of players in the competition can never be compared to that of their counterparts in the Champions League and Europa League. So it's expected to see such dramatic moments

these UEFA Conference League games are very unpredictable for me and that's why I haven't been placing bets on them, as they are strange teams so I have a lot of difficulties to get information about them on the internet, I tried to analyze some teams, but I got tired because I didn't find much information, at least I didn't find the information I wanted, but today, watching news on the channels in Portuguese, I saw the video of the ST Patrick game against Diddeleng in which Diddeleng won the game and went to another stage, so that I saw on tv was a very disputed game with 5 goals, and Diddeleng managed to score 3 goals in this game while ST Patrick managed to score 2 goals in this game

I had to go to youtube to be able to show here in this thread the moment that made me laugh a lot, man if you look at the video you will see that when Didier Desprez, Dudelange's goalkeeper, headed the ball and the ball went into the goal, people took it and started celebrating in a way that seemed to be laughing at his mistake, I saw the video many times and I can't stop laughing every time I see this video, without a doubt it will be something that will make you laugh for many years, it was a serious mistake and funny.
