today we had games with surprising results, AZ who played against brann could not win the game, and the game ended in a draw, the most surprising thing about this game was the fact that AZ was losing and then had to run against time to score 1 goal and with that the game is tied, so things didn't go well for AZ who played at home, in the second leg the az will have to play well to win away from home, something I see being a difficult task. another surprising result was the heart game they played against Paok, in this game the heart lost, but the saddest thing is that the heart scored a goal first thanks to a penalty, but 3 minutes later the heart committed a penalty and with that they suffered a goal, making how the game is tied

things could have gone well for heart, but unfortunately they conceded another goal in the 75th minute and with that lost the game at home, and in the next round they will have to play well away from home to win, something that I doubt will happen. another surprise was the game osasuna played at home against club brugge they lost, i even expected at least a draw, looking at this scenario i doubt very much that osasuna will be able to reverse this scenario in the second leg. now talking about the favorites, aston villa that played against Hibernian, they won at home, aston villa in this game scored 5 goals, it was a comfortable victory, and in the second leg i see aston villa playing without pressure

maybe aston villa don't even need to field their best players in the second leg game. Besiktas also won despite going through difficulties in their game against Dinamo, if Besikitas hadn't been lucky enough to have benefited from a penalty and they hadn't scored a late goal they would have lost in this game, that's why I think that in the second leg dinamo still has many chances to go through to another stage if they manage to beat besiktas. eintracht could not win the game against levisk sofia, honestly i expected a little more from eintracht in this game. There are definitely some good teams, that was definitely something to look for and we are finally here and I am happy too. However, it is the conference league after all, no matter how "good" some teams get, there will always be some not so great teams as well. Look at the group stages last year, of course there were some good teams, we can name like 6-8 good teams, but the rest were there to fill up the spots and wasn't really that good at all.

I think that is the problem with conference league, we are not seeing it help out that much just yet, it is going to take some time but these 100k+ rewards do add up, and teams will get better and better, even the lowest ones will get better eventually and do better for sure.

If it wasnt for the red card it would have been a different result. Red card helped a lot and just finished a duel between Fenerbahce and Twente. Twente dosent have any hope in the second leg and they played the first half very well but it just wasnt enough for them.

Adana Demirspor are leading with 1 goal to 0 vs Genk. Indeed they scored the first goal just after 2 minutes from the starting of the second half of the game. There is still 34 minutes in the game.
Fenerbahce along with Ferencvaros, Nordsjælland and Aston Villa almost confirmed passing that stage of play-offs since they have more than 4 goals difference.
Beşiktaş got an important victory even if it is with 1 goal difference. Otherwise Partizan heavy defeat was shocking. Frankfurt and Fiorentina didn't impress at all.

Fenerbahce played very well tonight. I didn't think it would end with such a different score. It's finished 5-1.

Even though we got 1-0 behind against Twente I can say that we have managed to qualify for the groups by making good use of the opponent's having 10 players and leaving the pitch by a win like 5-1. I think that Fenerbahçe's squad is very strong for the Conference League and we are one of the favourites of this trophy this season. We have so many quality players like Tadic,Dzeko,Fred,Livakovic,Szymański.

Are you gonna bet today? For me first games are allways an avoid, i dont have so much info, asides of some teams who are very powerful playing in home games, but the odds are very low in that cases.

Rapid - Fiorentina can be a good option thinking on a win for Fiorentina side.

Partizan is back tonight, against Nordsjaelland, and odds to qualify for next round @2.59 seems as really good offer

Mircea Lucescu is the coach of Dynamo Kiev. He has previously coached Beşiktaş and the Turkish national team. There are many people in Turkey who like and respect Mircea Lucescu. From this point of view, it will be an interesting match for Beşiktaş. Old friends will meet in this match. I am sure Beşiktaş fans will give Mircea Lucescu a nice welcome. Yo chill. I think we all understand that it is Aston Villa against a team that I am hearing their name for the first time literally. So we did not expect too much from Hibernian. And yes, I did Google the name. There is no reason to actually attack @SOKO-DEKE because sometimes these teams can actually pull out a good performance. Just look at Marseille. They lost against Panathinaikos. I definitely did not hear the name before they actually won against Marseille. And football can be unpredictable.

And I do have a question. If someone does not bet, does it mean that he does not have any say about any match in football?

Agree with FanEagle, we're beginning to see some nice quality teams in this bottom tier cup, normally I wouldn't say Villa is quality but recently, they look really skillful.

Lille, Fiorentina, Bodo, Frankfurt, Fenerbahce, Besiktas. These are really cool teams to watch too.

I mean, Hibernian vs Premier League team, with odds on Aston Villa to score Over 3 goals was 1.91. What is the surprise here?

Currently, I know that Aston Villa is in good form, and I believe that Aston Villa will win the game easily with many goals, but I don't ever think that Aston Villa will have much opportunity to score up to five goals. The surprise part is that Hibernian was not able to score even a goal, which is a very poor performance. I never thought that Hibernian's team was weak like this, but today I witness it them  playing against Aston Villa.
 
As for Trnava against Dnipro, I expect Trnava to use the opportunity of the red card that was book for Dnipro during five minutes of the game and win the game easily.but seriously, Dnipro-1 tries to be strong and able to defend their red card. After first having a draw in some minutes  second half when Trnava  scored, I never expected Dnipro to equalize the goals because of the red card. Trnava had many chances to score many goals, but seriously, they were not able to convert them into goals.

Aston Villa destroyed Hibernian just too easy and already finished this duel in the first match. They can play with the reserves in the second match because they got a huge lead. Trnava had two players more and just couldnt win in the end. They had a golden chance and missed it

Looking at the matches played today, I expect Trnava and Aston Villa to be victorious. For Aston Villa, the opponent is not a very challenging team. Aston Villa is a team that has the potential to get a different win away from home in a very comfortable way. It's the 23rd minute of the match and they have a dominating style of play. They are 1-0 up and will most probably close the first half ahead. Trnava, on the other hand, will want to take advantage of their opponent being down to 10 men. The hosts will try to put the pressure on with the red card of their opponent in the early minutes and will win the match.

I think Genk is the easiest opponent compared to the others.
Fenerbahce and Beşiktaş's matches are difficult, but I think they can beat them. I hope they beat them. Next week it will be clear.

I was surprised about the result of Partizan in the first leg but they improved a little in the second leg and qualified throughout penalties. A successful day after all for them before facing a team From Denmark in the play-offs.
There is other teams that got wake up in the second leg including Rapid Wien and Midtjylland with 5 goals victories and teams that saw the table turn on their heads like Poznan and Arouca.
Dynamo Kiev survived also thanks to penalties and Austria Wien was beaten badly by Warszawa, another surprising 5 goals in the second leg.

As long as there are games to watch and names that I know, I like to watch them. Conference league is a good thing, we are finally seeing more teams, there were too many good teams that failed to exist in other leagues and that is why we ended up seeing limited amount of games from them, thanks to conference league we get to see a lot more and that is an important distinction.

I think it's quite important to make sure that we are doing as well as people hope we would and right now things are looking quite good for sure. I get that it's not going to be that easy, and I know that it will take a while, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with a bad result, we should just focus on doing as good as we possibly can.

Anyone watched the Partizan match? My team with 0-2 down in the first leg got 2-0 back in the second and won over penalties. Not a convincing game from Partizan but they pulled through in the end and will go into the playoffs. Ultras from Partizan are still not coming to the games due to their fight with the owners

Adana Demirspor will face Genk play-off round, not Olympiakos. It was a beautiful fairy tale for Adana Demirspor, but I think it will end. Adana Demisrpor is unlucky because Genk is too strong for play-off.

I think Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe were unlucky in the draw. Twente vs Dynamo Kiev are strong opponents for the playoff round. Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe and Adana Demirspor can all be eliminated in the play-off round.

I always liked to watch Croatian teams playing in the European competitions. But after BSFL and the LaLiga pool that I have joined, I like to watch other games too

Back on topic. Yes, Rijeka has passed to the next round. Didn't watch any of their two games but by the result it looks like it was a one-way game. Rijeka won 3-1 in the first game and 2-0 in the second. Fairly routinized win. Too bad that Osijek couldn't go trough too. Adana really demolished them with 5-1 victory in the first game.
