First games which are scheduled today already started and I took Maribor ML against Birkirkara, despite that first game ended 1:1 quite unexpected. Also, Panevezys ML against Milsami @2.15. In first leg Panevezys looked like a better team in general and I expect that they finally will win against Milsami.
What else - Dinamo Batumi, Vikingur ML's, and parlay of Zimbru and Shkendija @1.88. And maybe some small bets on over 2.5 goals in several games.

Maribor was playing really bad and was losing 1-0 at ht but was able to turn it around to 1-2. Birkirkara was much better in this match against Maribor but the experience of playing europe was on Maribors side and they got two goals barely in the net and passed into the next round. I had over 2.5 goals so was lucky as well

I feel like it is not going work if I tried to bet on underdogs, so I do not really try that neither but considering how low some of these teams budgets and valuations are, it is not really that much of a big difference between the underdog and the favorite at times. I know that people like to think that the difference is there, but when you are talking about a 3 million team vs 8 million team, the difference is negligible and there is really nothing wrong with that.

I hope that people realize that this is not the part where big betting starts and maybe if we wait another month then we can bet on better games. It is going to be hard and we are not going to end up with a good result all that much, we should be considering something else.

You raise a good issue regarding how club budgets and values might not always take into account the substantial performance differences between favourites and underdogs. Although there may appear to be a financial disparity, upsets and surprises sometimes happen in sports, and the underdog team may defeat the more popular one!!!The finances and worth of a club do not, in fact, impact the final result of a game. The outcome can also be greatly influenced by other elements like team strategy, player skill, motivation, injuries, and recent form. The perceived underdog frequently has a strong sense of teamwork, a disciplined defence, or a unique tactical advantage that enables them to battle successfully against more powerful opponents.

I dont know what is wrong with this tournament. All the underdogs keep on winning or at least drawing against the favorites. Balzan destroyed Domzale and with such a huge odd this is the biggest surprise yet. But Maribor had an easy match and just didnt get the win and they usually play champions league qualifications and cannot win in the first round in this weak tournament.

I don't know why we're not following buwa's strategy and just betting blind on the unerdog. Not just in this supposed Farmers league either by the way as in the premier CL, Ferencvaros lost to an opponent that was something like 13x prematch.

Worse, they lost by such a huge margin.

Now they will drop to Europa. And expect Europa favorites to drop here, allowing for even more upsets!

Probably biggest upset today is Balzan big win against Domzale away 1:4, odds for their win was @7.00. Big statement, but still wouldn't say that they're in next round 100% already. Maribor failed to win against Birkirkara, terrible performance of Slovenian clubs against might opponents from Malta. While all 3 Maltese teams didn't lost today, probably it doesn't happens often.
Vaduz loss at home against Neman is also somewhat unexpected.
Embarrasing performance of clubs from my country. Panevezys was heav favorite against Milsami, but managed to waste 2:0 lead and game ended 2:2. I see flashbacks from last year games against same opponent. While Hegelmann - it's beyond shameful to lose 0:5 at home when your opponent isn't even considered as favorite today. I think that Shkupi is only team who are 100% in next round already.

Conference League will resume later this day and I see few known names mainly Puynik that will play tomorrow, Alashkert too. The other teams are less known and some of them never heard about them. Second qualifying round will be held in a week and hopefully these games will be a bit challenging although I don't think they will be.
If Pyunik and Alashkert from all these teams is best known for you, then most likely you're from Armenia Cheesy. But seriously, from all these teams which playing today, just few have experience to play in group stage.
Not going with big bets today, mainly some over 2.5 goals and BTTS markets.
I am not from Armenia, I maybe should specified what I meant by knowing a little about these teams and barely nothing about the others Smiley
Puynik generally advance to a later stage and they won their game with 2 goals to 0 vs Trans which is expected.
Aleshkert avoided a defeat after being 1 goal down. Barely half of the matches played yesterday ended with a draw..

I know o most all of these teams and mostly its hard to make a bet on them. Pyunik has a low add and just started leading in second half. Haka match for me is a goal match and is 0-1 and we will see a lot more there. Also good favorites are Maribor and Domzale and might be the only teams worth playing on.

even with a low odd I took a risk (I say I took a risk because these games with low odds also tend to be a big trap, especially when we are dealing with European competitions where very weak teams in their leagues tend to do well playing against a strong team from another liga ) and Pyunik won the game without having faced any difficulties, on the contrary they dominated the whole game and in the end they managed to score 2 goals and came out victorious without conceding a goal, honestly I see Pyunik also managing to win the second leg game without having many difficulties again, but unfortunately I lost my bet because it was a multi bet in which there was also the Premier League Arsenal friendly game against Nuremberg which is a Bundesliga2 team and Arsenal tied the game

I was honestly very disappointed with the result of the Arsenal friendly game and losing my bet. but leaving that aside, about the other games of the conference league Alashkert drew in their game and everything will be decided in the second leg, many of these teams I never heard about them often so I confess that I have a lot of difficulties in analyzing them to place a bet , but I'm following the results to see if there's any good opportunity for me to place a bet, the next games will be on the 20th of this month

To be fair this was a game I expected Fiorentina to lose, we can't just put "Italians losing again" type of thing when they are the underdogs. I have seen Roma as the potential winner and wagered on that, and if not for the ref to do what he did then Roma would have won as well.

Unfortunately for Roma, they didn't had that and that's why it is not going to be their fault neither. On the last one, we have Inter going against the goliath, City will not end up losing that at all, of course it would have been sweet if Italy did 3/3, would have been the first thing ever but that doesn't mean that they had any chance of that. The reality is that Inter will lose too and that means that we are going to end up with them losing all of the three game.

yes
West Ham players really wanted to win it. They fought hard for it and even with all the pressure from the Italian side, they had a lucky moment and finished it well. They deserve to have a trophy after playing so well in the competition. After their first goal that came from a penalty kick, and Fiorentina equalising after, it looked like Fiorentina where going to score the winning goal, they failed. I am happy for the West Ham coach, winning this trophy must be one of the best moments in his record because he was visibly very happy and proud yesterday. The champions league final is next.
Congratulations to the ECL's newest champions, the Hammers, who performed an outstanding job in securing the title. Fiorentina showed their strength, their players were absolutely serious, particularly Amrabat, who tackled his opponents with extreme measures, but they were not lucky enough to be crowned champions, Westham fought with everything they had and will take the trophy to the London stadium with celebration from the hammers fans. The players were all cheerfully and all credit belongs to David Moyes, who deserved to be celebrated after the ECL final.

And there we have it. Italians losing already in two finals, now all hope rests with Inter in the biggest one of them all.
These are exactly my thoughts when I saw the result of the game. I "inventedt" the puzzle and so far I'm happy that all the pieces fit in the right places: City win everything they can and their winning streak is already obscenely long (don't let them try to pay off the loss to Branford! - it was a friendly game), and the Italian teams are all lose plus Inter initially has the status of an explicit underdog. If my intuition does not deceive me, then in the last game of the season we should see a tragedy for City  Roll Eyes

I know the best chances were firmly in the hands of Roma and Fiorentina, but perhaps the gods will do me a favour on the weekend, it's where all my final bets of the season (at least, in terms of calculating bankroll) will be.

Your intuition has served you well across pools and so on, I'm happy to know we're on the same page on the final game that matters most!

@LTU_btc @casperBGD For my sake, I hope you both underestimate. We'll celebrate in the UCL thread!

but seriously, Queentoshi, Westhampton??
West Ham, sorry!

it was Bowen all along, to secure a win
due to Moyes, I was backing West Ham tonight, and they won it, it was not easy, but trophies are all that is counting

Yeah Bowen sealed the deal in the 90th minute. Fiorentina were dominating a bit in the game but its the goals that matters in the end. Tough season for Hammers in PL but they managed to win a UEFA competition under Moyes. I actually at one point was thinking that Moyes will be sacked after watching the way Hammers were performing till mid-season.

looking at Italians in finals, Roma was somewhat closest to winning title before everything started, and now it seems that all finals will be lost, cannot image Inter being the force that will raise from ashes and crack City (although I would like to see that, especially if Dzeko is scoring)

Both City and Inter are looking for trebles here so I am expecting Inter put in all their energy into the finals. I also don't have much expectation from Inter but hope that they put a good fight going down in the finals making a good entertainment for us.

Did think West Ham would win it, just wish they didn't score the final goal to ruin my prediction of under 2.5 elsewhere. They should have shut the doors down after the penalty. Moyes will be having a lot of wine tonight. Have to say Fiorentina gave them a pretty good scare, but seriously, Queentoshi, Westhampton??

God, save BTC!
Not bad final with dramatic ending. In general, it wasn't most exciting and beautiful game to watch, but you can expect something similar from final. Fiorentina played better, made more moments, but I can't say that they had much more good chances to score. And in final minutes West Ham go their chance to score and didn't wasted it.
West Ham won trophy after God knows how many years. And in general, it's first serious trophy for David Moyes in his long manager career. Happy for him.
It's only sad that final got ruined a bit by some idiots West Ham fans throwing beer glasses to Fiorentina players and injured one of them.

And there we have it. Italians losing already in two finals, now all hope rests with Inter in the biggest one of them all.
And from all 3 teams, Inter is least likely to win trophy, with all respect. So, it's a bit sad that after reaching 3 European finals, Italy will end without trophies. But maybe I understimate Inter too much.

Fiorentina had chances to win, but West Ham were more lucky... Roma also had chances, but Sevilla as well as West Ham were luckier... The last final in Europe will be just as interesting... Absolutely everyone is sure Man City will win, I have no doubt about that either... But Inter still have a chance of winning... They have a good defence that can shut down Haaland and De Bruyne... It would probably be fair for Inter to get revenge for all of Italy... Grin
