Palmer and some others arent even registered for this tournament so they will have to play the entire tournament without them. I think that even the third team of Chelsea will destroy Shamrock by 6-7 goals. There is a bog difference between these two teams and i think Shamrock will get one of the biggest losses for sure

A huge chance for the second and third choice players to have maximum minutes of game this season. Palmer and Jackson are also not participating in league cups competition this season too, they're play league games this season..

The second and third team players are good enough to win the conference league without Palmer and the rest. Although things might change when clubs from Europa league starts flooding in.

I guess last round will be full of surprise because top teams know they're already in safe zone, even they lose, it will not change anything. At the same time, teams in lower position who still have a chance to qualify will trying so hard to win.

I will not be surprised to see Chelsea vs Shamrock Rovers will end in draw.

7 goals without reply is a very painful result for LASK Linz. Even one of them was an own goal.

In this match, LASK Linz's defense line was very fragile, starting from mistakes in passing, to allowing opponents to easily enter LASK Linz's defense area, which made their tight defense seem meaningless.

LASK football team could not defend in last match and lost the match by big margin because that team could not do any goal in this match and opponent team which was Fiorentina football team, did 7 goals in this match and that was excellent performance in this match. Players of that team did back to back goals in this match and gave full effort to win this match. Sottil was the person who did 2 goals in this match and that was top performer of this match because no man did two goals except Sottil and 5 more players did goals in this match. That was totally one sided match and audience didn't like that kind of match because only one team did back to back goals and opponent team was silent.

Chelsea are really comfortable in the Conference League. They didn't even select Palmer for the squad list of league phase. Because Enzo Maresca didn't want him to get more tired in matches they can already win easily without Palmer as well. I think that it was the right thing to do too. I see them as the biggest title contender at the same time. It would be a big success for Enzo Maresca if he manages to win trophies in his first year already.

Because they are the only team in the competition playing Team B with lots of academy players, no one would praise or discuss it, but the fact that the record was set by bench players and academy players is noteworthy.


Current Chelsea Conference league registered players are not anywhere near 1b and not even half of it.

How anybody can not expect 100% from Chelsea in this super farmers league? You meet teams that never have hopes of even entering Champions League

I think its about expectations and level of club. Chelsea can't be stuck here they shouldn't even be stuck in Europa. But Fiorentina entire squad is 210M value. Chelsea is almost 1 billion

Chelsea are in their best form this season. Chelsea players are also performing well in the Premier League. If Chelsea had not lost points in a few matches at the beginning of the season, Chelsea would now be competing for the title. Chelsea are now in second place in the table. Chelsea are far behind Liverpool who are at the top of the table. Chelsea's chances of grabbing the top spot in the table are very low, although Chelsea is in second place in the table.



There is no doubt that Chelsea is the best team in the UEFA Conference League. We have seen Chelsea win all 5 matches in the UEFA Conference League. Chelsea is in great form. Chelsea players have scored 21 goals in 5 matches and conceded only 4 goals. Fiorentina can be the main obstacle for Chelsea to win the UEFA Conference League title. Fiorentina is also a very strong team.

So far, Chelsea looks like the best team in UEFA Conference League this season. They are already in the second position in English Premier League and they are fighting against third tier teams teams. I don't see a real competitor for them among the teams in this version. Ok Fiorentina is good but not superior to Chelsea which should take the title this season.

For me this isnt even the B team its a C team mostly the players that play for the reserve squad the U21 and this are so young players with lots of talent and they showed the can be counted in the future. Fiorentina just cannot go up a tournament just stuck in this one over and over again.

Hehe... seeing Enzo Maresca using his B team for this conference competition,  I never thought nor expected they'll be having a hundred percent start like, they've just won five over five games and that alone impressed me. Top performance from Marc Guii who joined from Barcelona as he was able to score two solid goals.
You know Fiorentina did came close to winning this trophy within the last two seasons? I remember vividly how they lost to Westham during one of the finals, but I can't conclude now. As much as I dislike blues, lol, they've been great,  yeah? Yeah!!

^ Yeah, I had to delete 3 posts on this last page alone (would personally like to delete most of them) for what is to me quite blatant spam, most likely using translators or machine language. When you use words like "Champagne" or "Confederations" instead of conference, you know these guys are just farmers. Not sure why Stake and others are allowing such obvious spammers. I'll take Fiorentina too -- but Chelski has to win this as a minimum result. B/C squad has no excuse with the level of competition here. Too bad we don't have many supporters of the other teams on this forum. Not so vocal, anyway. I'll try clean up more so we see the real posters.

Blablabla Chelsea, blablabla Chelsea. Come on guys we all know they're the strongest team by far. I think the 2nd closest team to them is worth less than half the squad (maybe even less I'm too uncaring to check). I mean, if they don't win, it will be a shock upset.

I'm supporting Fiorentina all the way in this competition cause all you lazy guys just talk about Chelsea   They are having one heck of a season too in Serie A btw.

I don’t see Fiorentina being equal in strength to Chelsea at all despite the fact that Chelsea is using their second team since the start of the competition and still they occupy the first place. With the form Chelsea is in no one in the competition can be compared to them although is the next team with a bit quality after Chelsea.
Chelsea should be able to win the competition easily is things keep going well for them but I am not sure if they can do that if they keep using the second team.

Chelsea target is to end well in the premier league and just as the coach said they are not yet ready to compete for the title but a top four finish is definitely important. Even as the premier league being the main target they would still keep an eye on the conference league title and try to add it in their trophy cabinet. The conference league is as important as the premier league so winning it will increase the confidence of the players.

Is there really a problem when Chelsea conceded that goal? I mean the goal came when Chelsea was already ahead with three goals in the first half of the game. Chelsea did not come from behind to beat the boys, they were actually winning from the beginning of the game until the final whistle was blown. That wasn't actually anywhere near defeat for Chelsea.

 Despite the fact that Chelsea is using the conference league to test the ability of some of their players, they are still on top of the conference league table with a gap of two points between them and the antagonist. Of course, Chelsea have the higher chance of lifting the trophy but a lot has to be done since there is no much gap separating them from the second team on the table and any match lost will drop them from the table lead.

Maybe Due to the weather condition in Astana everyone was expecting it to be a difficult game for Chelsea and also with the squad they used to travel bringing mostly dominated by the Academy boys. From the very beginning Chelsea took control as they have always don't throughout this season and it didn't take much time like you said for Chelsea to find back of the net. Marc Gui is a talent u must say, he is still very young and I see the hunger and passion in him, he is going to be a prime sticker of he is given the chance and development he requires. The first goal was all individual brilliance, he was played through by Pedro neto but he did the hard work by beating his man with skills and pace and scored a beauty of a goal. The second goal was more of an own goal but it was given to Gui.

Most of the Chelsea players where asked about the match after the game and they said it was the coldest they've played in their career. It was freezing in Astana, even the asatan goal keep had to put on a head beanie to atlest keep him warm. Chelsea academy boys really impressed me and I see why Maresca insisted that they were here because they deserve it and not because he wanted to rest most of the senior played. Good win for Chelsea as they still remain top of the Europa conference league.

In this match, Chelsea is using their third team, but still managed to win with big margin, many of the players are from Academy. If Chelsea didn't become the champion, it will be shame for them.

The good thing is Enzo aware who was the one limit or make this perform bad, it was his wife. You know many men become dumb after they're in relationship, women only give stress and unnecessary pressure to men.

As we can see, Enzo performance is really good after he choose to separated from his wife.

Palmer will not play even if the team manage to make to make it to the final, he was not registered and is not eligible to play. They have a huge club and the B team is enough to compete and win the conference league. I like how Enzo removed Palmer from all domestic cups too to only focus on league matches.

Something I would have liked to watch,
With this level of performance, even on a team B or team C, Chelsea sure shows promises more than I can say for a lot of teams. They’ve been able to get there rhythm and harmonize there play to get results from there fixtures. It doesn’t get any better than that or better than this.
Even while loosing, they could attempt a come back from a 2 goals down and still manage to get a draw or go for the win.
