Two English clubs lost in the Champions League yesterday... Judging by Aston Villa's current game, they will also lose to Lille... I wonder if Liverpool will be able to score 4 goals against Atalanta today? I don't know why, but all the top EPL teams have terrible results... Villa can't even make a dangerous moment...

I have a little something on PAOK and Brugge BTTS.
Brugge is clearly the better overall team here, but they did waste quite a few chances in the first leg to largely put it away, including a penalty in the second half.
PAOK at home is a different beast though, they completed a comeback against Dinamo Zagreb in the 1/8 finals with a 5-1 thrashing (0:2). Those six goals are most certainly not an outlier. This season, PAOK's five home matches in Europe have produced 23 goals, or nearly five per game.
I expect an open match, Brugge has enough quality to score at least one on the counter, given PAOK's need to mount another comeback.

I have to say I am a little bit shocked about both games. I expected Fiorentina to dominate, like have a big margin victory and I bet accordingly, I did not expected this result at all. I also expected Fenerbahce to get a close victory, but that could happen. A team that is considered as one of the leading candidates to get the cup, should not be losing to Olympiacos if you ask me but that's how things are in football world, you just get what you do not expect and just move further with that.
All in all, I just believe that second legs will matter a lot more after these games, none of them looked like a guaranteed thing so it is going to be very important for all teams to get a lot more ready for the second leg game for sure.

The Europa League and Conference League are full of surprises... Some favourite teams can get really unexpected results for various reasons. Some of them are focused on an achievement to earn in their domestic league at the same time and give less importance to these tournaments. Some of them just underestimate their opponents and get surprised by them.
This was really what happened in the Plzen v Fiorentina match. I can't imagine how many people bet on Fiorentina to win especially because of its very attracting odds. I will expect Fiorentina to win home in regular time though. We wouldn't come across another surprising result I assume right?

Yes, many surprises occur in European matches, not only in the Conference League even in UCL and UEL matches some favorite teams that are considered to win are easily defeated or draw, if it only happens in 1-2 matches that is normal but this time it happened in many matches lol. As gamblers we have to be more careful in predicting the match in the second leg there may be another surprise there it would be better to watch the match first before deciding to bet. So far I favor Fiorentina and Aston Villa it seems these two teams will reach the final, while Fenerbahce is still in the grey.

It is true that Fiorentia failing to get a win was a bit disappointing that's a game they should have won without a doubt. However, Villa got the win and that was the bet I had , I put a good money on them because I honestly believe that they look like the team that can win it all and I believe that no team could be as good as team in this cup anymore.
Looking at all other games you can see that all other teams are weaker and that's the most important thing. I get that we are talking about a situation where things are not that simple, so maybe I could be wrong and I trust Villa this much but that doesn't mean that I am right, that's just what I feel that's it. Villa got the win though, so that means I am right so far and lets hope that goes on.

Olympiacos Fenerbahce to star in a few hours, well im more expecting for the super show before the game made by the fans andsurely with thousands of fireworks than the game in fact.
About the game i dont want to do some bets because we already see in the last home game of Olimpiacos against the israeli team and sucks, so.... against Fenerbahce i dont want to bet with that irregularitie.

Fenerbahçe have a really tough work to do tomorrow evening. Olympiacos are really one of tough teams to beat away.
I'm still favouring Fenerbahçe though. Especially if we see them play like the way they did against Union Saint-Gilloise they can really win. Even a draw would do a good job to finish the work home. Fiorentina have a comfortable work to do on paper. In addition to these matches there are Aston Villa - Lille and Club Brugge - PAOK too, what do you think on them?
My favourites are the home sides for those ones. Aston Villa are even the highest favoured team to become the champions.Too lazy to read so I might be mistaken but Fenerbahce's threats to withdraw from the Turkish League means they won't be a member of the FA anymore. Doubt they'll do it, at least not until the season ends, as they'll want to be in this UEFA competition (and I'm certain cannot compete if not member of Turkish FA).
Don't know how this all affects the players on field but usually a team with external issues can't focus on the pitch -- so I'm staying off them for bets.
Villa my pick too, and that's maybe the laziest assessment but they're the only team I've seen play and they're pretty special plus got a coach who knows the map of UEFA KO tournaments

Olympiacos are a really challenging opponent for us. However there is no chance for you to get an easy draw as of this stage. If we look at it objectively I think that we are one step ahead of Olympiacos but everything can happen in this matchup. There would be brilliant atmospheres to be created by the supporters in both matches. If I manage to find a ticket I will absolutely follow the match at the stadium in İstanbul/Kadıköy on April 18th. I would send photos to you.

Yeah think I saw a punter losing big on that Belgian game, mystifying for me as well that the Turks would slip at home, but if I were them, I'd be happy to use up my "loss" on home soil before the QFs. You usually need to lose a game or two to wake up the rest of the team, no better timing.
Agreed on Fiorentina, zero value for them. I really want to say this cup is Villa's to win, they certainly have the manager pedigree to do it, not sure about the personnel on field though.

I think all the teams here will have their fans imagining the best. Fenerbahce is the dark player, I think all Turkish teams at the top are capable of winning at any time of the day, at the same time even a fancy team like Villa can play like shit, so I don't know if the odds are accurate. For Villa everything seems to rely on Ollie Watkins, he was slightly injured too, gash on leg, that can spell bad things for them.

.I only check scores, but I never support, just hoping for certain results. This is mainly because I play Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League so everything is covered there

So this can't be called like one of potential final matches in this tournament. Ajax just needed to get really lucky with the draw to be able to have a chance to reach the final round.
Ajax were starting showing soe better football and improved results in the middle of seasons, but in recent weeks we see same terrible Ajax that we saw in beginning of season. Tey barely survived against Bodo/Glimt, it was difficult to expect that they can eliminate Villa. So this can't be called like one of potential final matches in this tournament. Aston Villa probably pulled the hardest team they could pull, Lille is still a decent team. To be fair at this stage all teams are quite decent compared to Aston Villa, but they still seem like the favourites. Luck on the 1-4 matchup is that the winner of Aston Villa and Lille matchup will be playing against the Fenerbahce Olympiacos matchup winner, which means that two of the highest rated teams in this conference league season, will matchup during semi finals.
So whoever goes to other side of semi finals, will face someone easier compared to what could have happened. This part is so confusing usually is that any team could lose on this round, or could win the whole thing and this is why it should be hard to bet on these.

Ajax in England now, this match is actually the most exciting one in the night to me, even in Europa the 'best' choice is Roma Brighton or Marseiile-Villareal, but none of those clubs are both recently exciting to see like Ajax-Villa, agree?
I do agree that Ajax vs Aston Villa will feel a little bit like early finals game. I am not saying that winner of that game will go on to win it all, last year I said the same thing for Barcelona vs United and I failed, but it is definitely two great teams without a doubt. If you want to watch any conference league games this season, I am sure this should be at the top of the list.I think Aston Villa may have a better chance, Ajax hasn't done so well in recent years and I think Aston Villa has been on the up lately as well. I'm glad for Fiorentina managed to qualify further in Conference League and I think no matter who they face next , they should qualify further too because I have them to reach finals this year.
