I do not know yet how Maresca feels about this tournament, but at the moment they do not feel there is much competition there.

Juxtaposing Chelsea and Legia Warsaw in the competition I think Legia Warsaw is a good team too but Chelsea is better and that's why I strongly believe Chelsea will maintain their winning streaks farther than Warsaw will, and not to mention, Chelsea has got a better chance of winning the league than any team in the competition.

Regardless, Chelsea ranked first when it comes to competent candidates to win the UEFA Conference league title this season. They're English elite side and wouldn't count these oppositions as tough threats. The UEFA Conference League is not consider easy as it seems, there are top rivals for the league titles, so winning becomes compulsory in all phases. Frank Schmidt is tactical, he arranged for draw points when he faced Enzo Maresca but got denial because the visitors came prepared. The heat was poured in the second halve and winning was initiated for the Blues. Complementing the stellar display of Chelsea at Voith Arena was necessary, because Heidenheim was a hard knot to crack this season, although they conceded 2 goals in the second halve.

Seriously, there's nothing special in Chelsea's yesterday victory because they are the biggest team in that conference league tournament. The only thing impressive about that match was the three points and the clean sheet. Despite playing against a low level team, they still missed too many goals due to their casual finishing. They really need to work on that aspect to maintain their dominance in the league.

Although, they kept a good line defense setting up the opponent to be on the offside but that's not the perfect way to go because it'll not always end up in their favor. The center refree and the VAR officials are some time bias and the opponents might get away with the offside goals. Chelsea should be very grateful to their goalkeeper for saving them yesterday, it might have ended in a defeat or draw for them but the goalie rescue them. He truly deserves to be the man of the match.

Then as for Nkuku, I don't actually think he is a bad player, what i sense is that he is more suited in a system that plays two attackers upfront, and that is a system Chelsea rarely use, so it hasn't been easy for him no doubt.

All this with Palmer not even on the bench, yeah, Blues will be very happy with a side competition that won't drain their UCL challenge in the domestic league. Was very disappointed with Nkunku in Prem but he seems to have found his way in Conference, good for him.

Brugge broke Scottish hearts, Kopenhagen won, Fiorentina barely did but poor Betis and Wien. Some upsets but the script hasn't gone completely off kilter in the third-tier UEFA club comp haha.

You don't expect all Chelsea's game in this competition to all be the same outcome, easy win all the time, despite that they're a bigger team than all the clubs in this competition. Scoring many goals is good but sometimes it doesn't really matter because what that counts in the end is that e points, Chelsea's performance so far in the competition is quite fair, regardless of weather they struggled to win today's game or not.

I don't think the conference league has become more competitive, but Chelsea's players did not perform well in the game. Maresca started with the players who were not considered second-tier throughout the game. The midfield was quite weak, compared to how Lavia, Enzo, and Palmer used to strengthen it. I also expected the match to end with a lot of goals because Chelsea usually scores a lot in the conference league, but after looking at their starting lineup, I noticed there would be few goals. Sancho is loving his time at Chelsea, with two assists today while playing as a left winger.

However, Heidenheim is an average team with players who lack the knowledge to turn opportunities into goals. They wasted multiple chances to equalize against Chelsea, but thanks go to Filip Jörgensen for making multiple saves to maintain a clean sheet tonight. I enjoy Maresca's style of play, however, he did not use his best players in the conference game due to their next serious match in the Premier League.
