Croatia is definitely not a team to be underestimated in Group B and they will definitely qualify for the round of 16 as runners-up or third place in Group B.
To win the Group B, Croatia must at least be able to win 2 times with 1 draw, they will win against Albania but I doubt they can get 3 points from Spain or Italy.
That is why I think Spain or Italy have a bigger chance to become the winner of Group B and one of them will face Germany in the quarterfinals after beating 3rd place from Group A/D/E/F.



Actually, my favorite team is France. I also not sure Germany can win this one, but after checking at the schedule - it looks like they will be able to reach the final.

Rashford performance was not impressive this season so I didn’t expect to see him among the list of players called up for Euro. I was not impressed with Southgate’s choices though, there are some players not included that i was surprised of because they have had a pretty good season and deserves to be included.

Sancho is a good example, he will be playing the champions league final in a bit and since he left Manchester United he has been on fire and his performance are not so bad so i expect to see his name included in the squad.

I expected to see Harvey Elliot in the squad in place of Curtis Jones because Elliot has been more important for Liverpool this season and his contributions to their game was impressive. Jones was out injured most of the time and that didn’t allow him to have a decent season.

Also they gave an excuse about Chilwell and James not included due to injury but Luke shaw who hass been out for many weeks and still recovering was included. That doesn’t sit well to me at all.

Right? I also like it in decimal style. It is easier to read and understand for everyone.    I see it in decimal on most gambling websites as well.

You won't see Rashford there.    Because I believe he doesn't deserve it after this horrible performance this year. I appreciate Southgate's choice. There are some new names to play in an official tournament for the first time. Such as Gordon, Mainoo, Quansah, Trafford as far as I can see.

Palmer can also be considered like that though as his playing time is really not much. He has had an amazing season. 

England has a really great squad and maybe this is their time, we will see...

Damn this odds format, it hurts my brains  8 to 1, 6 to 1 etc. i can understand it easily but why 7 to 2 instead of 3.5 to 1? It seems to me that no one likes complex fractions (where the base of the fraction is not a ten but random numbers) and this format makes it easy to get confused and draw the wrong conclusions.
As for the quotes, Germany's chances are overestimated (due to the fact that they are the hosts of the tournament), otherwise everything looks logical.

Are you pretty sure that Italy and Spain will pass their group and that Croatia will not be a problem? This is the same team in which players like Modric, Guardiol, Kovacic play and which has won a medal at the world championships twice in a row.


The home team always has the support of everyone, but I hope that referees will be no main stars in this competition. The fact that someone is the host of the competition should not be any criterion for a good result, and I hope that only the game will be the one that will decide in the end.

Just three more weeks to go for the start of the tournament. This one is crucial for Germany, as they will be hoping to win a major tournament after a long gap. Lots of experience there in the German squad, with players such as Manuel Neuer (117 international caps), Toni Kroos (108), İlkay Gündoğan (75) and Thomas Müller (128) in the squad. But even then, from what I can see, England and France are the favorites as of now, and Germany is at the 3rd place followed by Spain and Portugal.

Mmmm i dont know what to really think about german team, they have so many youngs and they seem to not find the correct path yet, they only had tis good last games who surely brings some hope to the people and the team itselfs, but i feel like the german federation know the rechanging of the new generation with the old one, was not as planed.

Even though Germany only reached the round of 16 at Euro 2020, as the host in 2024 - Im sure they will be able to reach the Final.

Germany definitely will be qualified as the winner of Group A (Germany, Scotland, Hungary, Switzerland) and in the round of 16, the winners of Group A will meet the runners-up of Group C (England, Denmark, Slovenia, Serbia).
I doubt England will be finished as the runner-up Group C, that is why it will be not hard for Germany to qualify into the next round.
In the quarterfinal, it is almost certain that they will meet Spain/Italy and if they win = their opponent in the semifinal will be Netherlands or Portugal.

So with the schedule above, Im sure Germany will be in the Final of Euro 2024, with note: they have to be able to beat Spain or Italy in the quarterfinal.

Yep. Now I can’t even believe that after the end of the national championships such a big tournament awaits us. Taking into account the increase in the number of participants, this will be an easier tournament for the favorites (in the early stages) and overall I think there will be a lot of interesting high-scoring games. This guy didn't play because of an injury for a season and now he is playing in a league which nobody cares.    I wouldn't be convinced with him just because of his effort in the Saudi league honestly. I believe those good days of Kante no longer exists. I'm really happy for Zaire-Emery. He is a good talent and this is going to be his first national team experience with the main squad. 

Kante a bit surprising, but not shocking. Mendy's kinda 50/50. So I agree, not even highlight. Kante is in category of 'experienced players playing in shit leagues'. You can see also Wijnaldum who hasn't even been great since leaving Liverpool, now playing in shit league, and still getting callup. I bet a lot of Dutch midfielders are mad lol

Olise is definitely deserved, ter Stegen still made it to Germany, but I doubt he plays much.

How's Mendy and Konte's inclusion the biggest highlight from the announcement? I read that players that have picked for recently including Olise (Crystal Palace), Malo gusto who has played a pivotal role in Chelsea's rally from the 10th they have been sitting all season and are currently on venge of finishing above Man Utd in the premier — he was left out too amongst others like Moussa Diaby at Aston Villa.

Those players that were left out are my biggest highlight even though the named players are a very good bunch.

I confess that I am very surprised that they called up N'Golo Kanté to be part of the national team even knowing that he plays in a league that is outside of Europe, this shows that the coach of the French national team is leaving aside the idea that only in Europe and if he has quality in terms of football and is betting on players outside of Europe, he probably saw that N'Golo Kanté's talent is still good even though he is playing in Saudi Arabia. The question now will be to see if N'Golo Kanté will play from the beginning of the game until the end of the game or if he will just be a player who will be sitting on the bench waiting for a better player to get injured so he can play.
