The Celtic - Bodo/Glimt matchup is really a candidate to become a difficult one. We know Celtic's quality already of course. But the most surprising thing here is Bodo/Glimt's incredible performance so far. As you all can remember, Bodo/Glimt destroyed Roma too by 6-1 in the group stage. It was a huge surprise for everyone undoubtedly. I think that they proved themselves even by only this game. Celtic must play very carefully in both games. Otherwise, it could be inevitable for them to be eliminated.

Both games will be competitive i personaly am impressed by bodo glimt performance this season i think right now they are stronger than celtic team as for fenerbahce and slavia i think this will depend on fenerbahce performance since they sometimes perform poorly.

I think that Tottenham weren't even caring about the Europa Conference League anyway. It can be seen obviously from their performances in the previous group stage games. And I understand them about it too. Because maybe this is a brand new tournament but this still doesn't change the fact that it has even a lower quality than the Europa League. I don't think that the players or the board are very unhappy with the final decision.

Spurs were able to confirm their dominance since the first games but they failed to do it. Although things seems to be better now for the team after Conte joining them but I think it would be better to focus on a better ranking in EPL first of all to guarantee at least EL spot next season. I think CL spot isn't an easy task for them.

They finally made their certain decision about the Tottenham - Rennes game. And they awarded Rennes a 3-0 victory. Maybe people will criticize this decision a lot as the game could have been played on a date before the next round. And I'm also criticizing them. But maybe according to the rules, this was the right call at this point. The plus side for Tottenham is that they can focus more on the Premier League now. Grin

I can understand, but I think it's never okay for a team to simply ignore a competition. If you accept to participate in it, you should try to go as far as possible. Furthermore, this theory of being a proof of little value is of little value until you win.

This is a new competition, we cannot expect that the first year will be a super important event. Now, all clubs must value it if they participate in it.

UEFA announced the decision for Tottenham, who could not play against Rennes. Tottenham forfeited 3-0. With this result, Vitesse was the team that left the group. Tottenham had a big surprise by failing to make it out of the groups in the Conference league. I was thinking of Tottenham as one of the conference league champion contenders. Their elimination made me very sad.

The Turkish team which are Fenerbahce have got a draw against Slavia Praha. Fenerbahce were really bad in the Europa League group stage. And this caused them to go down to this tournament. And this is like a second chance for them. And it is up to them to benefit from this last chance. Slavia Praha seem to be contented about this draw. But we will see if Fenerbahce will be able to catch them by surprise.

Yeah, Celtic - Bodo/Glimt should interesting. Celtic looks not very impressive, while Bodo is one of biggest surprises this season.
Fenerbahche - Slavia is more or less 50/50 game.
For Leicester it should be easy if they will look seriously in this game. Same about Marseille.
PSV are favourites against Maccabi.
Sparta - Partizan, I think Partizan are slightly better.
Midtjylland - PAOK looks very difficult to predict.
Rapid - Vitesse also very similar level teams.

We have hours left for the draw. If I take the clubs that come from the Europa League into account also, the excitement level would be higher than before for this new tournament. It is worse in quality compared to the CL and EL but it is still attracting a little as it is held for the first time ever. It would feel special to become the first champion of the ECL for most of the clubs here I think.

I agree that it would be definitely a scandalous incident by UEFA again. Maybe the conditions are not right for Tottenham now but it shouldn't mean that the Tottenham - Rennes match should be cancelled and not be played later also. There is still going to be a time period between the draws and the matches of the next stage. In this time period, they can surely play their match. Let's say that they still couldn't, then Vitesse would move on as there will be no other chance left.

Is this really the case? I'm getting informed about it newly. But this is really unfair for Tottenham I think. Just because the players got covid-19, they won't even be able to play the match vs Rennes and it will be a 3-0 win for Rennes.
