And in today's games Leicester City and Olympique should win without great difficulties. I also predict that PSV will win, as well as PAOK.

In the other two games, I think the teams are almost on the same level, so the games should be balanced with any team able to win, or end up in a draw.

I do my best to have interest even though my team is out.

But should we pay attention to the high odds for Bodoe/Glimt who was the one responsible for knocking out one of the big teams and is PSV Eindhoven worth betting the other way maybe with a small handicap? Asking for my stupid bet picks before I go to sleep Smiley

few interesting matches today in Conference league
for me, Partizan is playing with Sparta, solid chances to pass-through, but we had a long winter break, and just played first match on the weekend, will be tough to qualify for next round

Fenerbahce should win over Slavia, and PSV is in good form to win over Maccabi, but they have a lot of possible missing players, and odds are really low
I think that chances for both teams in Sparta - Partizan is somewhat 50/50. No way that I would bet on Partizan on away game.
Fenerbahche - Slavia is most interesting pair for me. I would like to see Slavia reaching round.
I have no doubts about PSV today, but odds isn't worth to bet.
Celtic - Bodo/Glimt might be interesting, but Bodo is another team which comes out of winter break.

@casoerBGD indeed after a long break the player’s will be rusty and that’s definitely going to affect their game, but if they can put in a spirited performance then maybe they can win or even escape with a draw. Also I have a good feeling about PSV wining, but as my funds are needed for other fixtures I’m not wagering on them tonight, however is anyone else planning to wager on them or all are avoiding this fixture.

I think roma have a better chance now to win the confederations cup compared to other teams, before i thought tottenham was a club with a big chance, but their WO loss factor made Roma to be in the forefront at this time to win the cup, besides having a good team qualified, mourinho's experience in bringing the team to victory certainly has a big role to help Roma in this regard, while leicester I have a little doubt that they can compete until the end of the competition, because their performance is quite bad this season in the league.

This is a difficult question, since Roma's main priority is the national championship and getting into the top 4, as this opens the way to the Champions League. The competition for this position is extremely high this year, so I have doubts that Mourinho will be seriously distracted by the third-place tournament. On the other hand, his ambition and desire to win at least some title will probably matter.

Had Tottenheim been or is coming (which I no longer assume), Tottenheim would have been favourites to win the Conference League for me. So for me Leicester and Marsaille are the favourites and I think that one of these two teams will win the final. Anything else would be a surprise for me personally, but we will see until then and after the first leg we will see the results.

Anything else would be a surprise? Don't forget that there are a lot of clubs to whom the conference league means much more than to Leicester for example. These teams will play and leave their lives on the pitch to win the conference league. I think it is going to be a hard competition despite so many no names participating in it.

When it comes to this new tournament, I assume that most of the teams are excited about it as they have a chance to become the first champions. Otherwise, this is not a big tournament as much as the Champions League and the Europa League. And the biggest candidates for reaching the title seems to me like Roma, Leicester and Marseille. Roma and Leicester are one step ahead comparing to Marseille. Each one of them have a really solid lineup for this tournament. And I'm having a difficulty in picking one of them to win the title for now. After seeing their performances in the next stages, it is going to be easier to make a decision.

I think that Leicester are one of the biggest favourites of the Europa Conference League title now. They have been doing really bad in the Premier League recently. And maybe they would focus on this tournament to win a title and become the first champion team of this tournament at the same time also. Maybe this tournament has a much lower quality than the Premier League but its being held for the first time makes it really attracting. And I think that the biggest threat to them in this tournament is Roma. And we never know if some unexpected team make a surprise.
As much as we want to put Leicester out there to be favorites of the tournament, I think what these guys get wrong is the fact that they use two different teams for the premier league and other competitions....if players tire out from the premier league they can not be used for such competitions such as the Europa Conference League and the other problem is that players used in this competition aren't getting game time from the EPL which could mean that they are out of form and they should not be considered as outright favorites tbh.
It's hard to determine, because Leicester may be doing their best to win the title, and if there are times when the team can put all their effort into winning one title and making sure they cover both tournaments, they may lose it by covering both, So the strategy they have for now is not bad.

If we take into account that Leicester do not believe they are invincible and do not believe that they are the favorites, that this does not affect their metallicity and above all they do not trust, because just as they are the favorites, anything can happen and they can lose , causing them to fail in everything.

I also don't like switching up the teams significantly for different competitions, but Leicester is still involved in all important competitions (only League Cup is gone). The Premier League doesn't look awesome, but there is still a way for them to qualify for the international competitions. They are two games behind compared to the top 5 teams and 9 points behind 5th. It's not the time to give up on that yet in order to be able to more strongly compete in other tournaments.

So far, mourinho has not promised a title for his first year working in Rome, but I don't think mourinho will let go of the trophies he can get for the first season, including the confederation trophy, but of course he will not make the confederations cup the main target for roma, because with the current squad, mourinho is required to be able to penetrate the champions league next season, besides that compared to the confederations cup, of course mourinho will focus his squad on the league and also win the copa italian trophy, but if everything goes well, maybe morinho can also collaborate with the coppa trophy and the confederation as a performance offering of its first season to the rome fans later.

It would be strange if Mourinho promised titles while working in Roma (although that would be his style)  Grin
As for the Italian Cup, the chances of winning it are much more illusory than winning the Conference Cup - at the moment, not one of the first 8 teams in the Italian Championship has been eliminated from it. Obviously, the level of competition for the Italian Cup will be higher than for the Conference League Cup.

Indeed, the biggest favourites to win the title of this tournament are Leicester, Roma and Marseille. I feel myself closer to Leicester and Roma. But it is really difficult to make a choice between them. I like Leicester more than Roma now actually. I see them as a more talented team when it comes to attacking and scoring goals. Roma still haven't reached the level their supporters want to see. Their inconsistency could be a big hindrance for them.

For me, the biggest candidates for the Europa Conference League title are Roma and Leicester. And according to the championship odds also, these teams are the absolute favourite teams. And I see Roma as one step ahead truthfully. I believe that they are a little more capable team than Leicester. Moreover, I would really like to see a finale between these two teams. It would be really good to draw people's attention to the game.

@lulumiya Roma isn’t performing as well as we all thought they would, but if they buy some quality player’s in January transfer window then yes their fortune may just change. Also Leicester is in a crisis just look at their past few premier league games, hence I won’t term them as favourites for now.

Perhaps it can be said that they are favorites, compared to the other clubs in the competition. Even so, I think PSV and Marseille will also have something to say in the competition. And Feyenoord too, but I don't see him able to reach the final.

The conference league is a third-tier tournament planned for slightly lower teams to be slightly better off economically.  Therefore, I do not find it logical for teams such as PSV, Marseille to participate in the Conference league from the UEFA cup.  In this case, they automatically become one of the favorite teams of the tournament.  Although Roma and Leicester are currently the favourites, PSV and Marseille came from the UEFA Europa League and became one of the favorite teams of this cup.  It's an interesting situation.

It is interesting for me to see that Marseille have a very near possibility to Roma and Leicester when it comes to winning the title. Because I really didn't like Marseille's group stage performances in the Europa League. They were too bad at defending their opponents. For example, Galatasaray destroyed them by 4-2. Maybe this is an easier tournament than the Europa League. But I still don't see them having nearly the same chance with the other two for the title.
I would say Marsielle is closer not due to them being so much better but because Roma and Leicester let people down a bit more than expected. This is why I honestly believe that they have a chance. Leicester is a good team and a solid roster but they haven't being playing like they used to and that matters a lot, whereas I believe that if they have a new manager, or just some sort of morale increase on their team, they could definitely be a better team for sure.

Let's wait and see, Roma on the other hand didn't have too much changes and were never really "that" great but because they got Mourinho everyone expected a lot from them, I do not see much changes from last year to be fair. Marsielle on the other hand is a team that is consistent and that is why they have a closer odd if you ask me, still not favorites obviously but not that much different.
