It was an interesting game last night, both team played like a champions. this is how a final game should be, i just felt bad for coach Mourinho for looking his first European final, Sevilla has again shown that they own this cup, winning it for eight times is something amazing, it was a beautiful night for the Spanish club.
penalty is a lucky game, any team can have it, i don't blame any players for missing the penalties.
I share your empathy for Mou. Despite his illustrious track record, biting the dust in a European final is no stroll through the park, more so when it's steeped in controversy.
And speaking of controversy, how can we gloss over the handball fiasco? Mourinho was off the deep end, and you'd struggle to argue with his reaction. Now, I don't fancy myself as a top-drawer man in black, but when such a crucial juncture is missed, it invariably sets tongues wagging. Makes you wonder, doesn't it, if the outcome might have pivoted had that decision been different? The relentless gnawing uncertainty – it's a real head-scratcher, isn't it?
But let's not rain on Sevilla's parade. They certainly gave Roma a wild ride, especially in the second act. Penalties are an altogether different kettle of fish, can't argue there. And as for the lads who messed up their kicks, let's remember – they're made of flesh and blood, just like us.
