Can’t believe Sevilla did it again, that trophy really is theirs isn’t it.

Did anybody see the short video of Mourinho waiting in the carpark for the referee (Englishman Anthony Taylor).

That trophy is ours next season (LFC).

Sevilla once again proved that they deserve the title of King of the Europa League. The success of the Rojiblancos in blowing Roma is indeed thanks to Bono's heroic actions that deserves appreciation. In contrast to Bono, Mancini was the most unlucky player in that match, he twice caused disastrous consequences for his own team so that the title he already held had to fall back into Sevilla's hands. Yes, the defeat of Roma in the final also decided Mourinho's achievements on the European stage. And I predict Mourinho will probably leave his job soon and will return to adventure with his new team next season.
Actually Mourinho has done very well bringing Roma to the final is an achievement that cannot be underestimated that sure is impressive
it's just that luck was not on Roma side they were defeated on penalties at least they lost in respectable and have struggled
I agree with you maybe Mourinho will leave Roma next season he will look for another team and continue his impressive record.
It is not always right to hold everything to luck. Because even if Roma had lost 5-4 or 4-3 on penalties, it would have been accepted that Roma lost because of their bad luck. But while Roma lost 4-1 on penalties, it can be said that Roma lost because of their poor performance of goalkeeping. Roma's players were also very well prepared and played well throughout the game.  But eventually Roma lost due to poor goalkeeping

I would say Roma lost because of bad luck. Teams can't win unless they have good luck in the penalty shootout. I have seen many experienced goalkeepers in the past not perform well in the penalty shootout and the team lost as a result. However, the penalty shootout will become more exciting if Roma's goalkeeper performs a bit better. At the same time, Roma had to concede the goal due to Mancini's error. It was also completely unexpected. If Mancini hadn't made a mistake, maybe Roma would have won 1-0 and been champions. It is for these reasons that I say Roma can't be champions entirely due to bad luck.

It was a bad management from the referee yesterday night.Roma played better until the point Dybala was out for that Netherland attacker which was the worse player of the whole match in my opinion. The referee missed two clamorous penalties for Roma and one for Sevilla and the bad thing was that he kept saying "No penalty,no penalty",I wonder why UEFA let Premier League referees in such finals, they are not fit for when two teams of other nations play each other as they are used to another type of football in the Premier League,I am not saying they should not manage a final but not such type of referees who made the game go a different way.

I agree with you that they shouldn't use that kind of referee in a final because both teams will be focused on winning the league and will do whatever it takes to do so. Roma was very serious in the game yesterday because they knew Sevilla had the desire to win the Europa League. The first goal convinced me that Roma was fully prepared to defeat Sevilla; the only thing Sevilla has was luck.
Roma really played well, and even Sevilla will believe that they just got lucky to win the game, therefore it is not terrible that they didn't win the game since the game is either you win or you lose.

Roma are truly defeated by their own destiny. As luck would have it, Sevilla won the match surprisingly in Roma's hands.  At 55 minutes I couldn't believe myself. Because such a mistake in the final match was never expected from an experienced player like Gianluca Mancini. I didn't see Sevilla make much of an impact in the 90 minutes against Roma.  The match was tied at 1-1 despite an own goal but Roma had a disappointing performance on penalties. Only one short they got right and the rest were off target.
Yes mate, their luck didn't favor with them and the goalkeeper could not provide good support. The final match between Sevilla and Roma created huge excitement. Dybala scored 1 in the 34th minutes to give Roma ahead in the match. But that score was able to equalize with another goal through opponent team player Mancini. As a result, the match ended with Mancini 1 and Roma 1. Unfortunately when the game went to penalties Roma lost 4-1. It would have been acceptable if the loss had been 2-1 but when it was 4-1 the Roma crowd certainly did not take the defeat normally. In the final, the whole match was exciting but the ending was not good.

Sevilla are well experienced in this league and in playing the finals, they knew that it might end up to be a Penalty shoot out because the last three consecutive Europa league finals ended in a penalty shoot out. Sevilla has shown that they remain the best club and the most favourite in this league. The match was tougher than expected
Mourinho may not have predicted that the match would not go to penalties to determine who was the best. Why do I say that, because Mourinho took out Paulo Dybala and brought in Shaarawy late.
The last name I mentioned is often the decisive player in saving AS Roma.

And yes Sevilla is more experienced and better prepared in this competition than AS Roma apart from the luck factor because before the match against Sevilla, AS Roma was far from the positive results it had in the last 5 matches.

You are correct but football victory histories doesn't actually record the runners up so that why it would have better if he had found to secure that vital victory but all the same he is a wonderful manager and has tried for the club but history will record it as a famous victory for the sevilla team and this victory help them mark their seventh Europa league title which is actually a massive achievement for them.

Sevilla success in winning the seventh Europa League title in the club's history cannot be separated from Bono heroics between the sticks. Bono really deserved the Man of the Match award after Sevilla managed to beat Roma on penalties.

This success has further established Sevilla as the king of the Europa League because they have four more trophies than any other team that has ever won the Europa League trophy. This success also earned Sevilla the right to play in the Champions League next season, while Mourinho unbeaten record in the finals of all European competitions was dashed due to the best performance shown by Bono while maintaining Sevilla reputation as the King in the Europa League.
Roma and Mourinho's plan to advance to the Champions League next season ultimately failed because of their strategy of not playing openly. Sevilla has a good form as a winner even though there were some controversial moments in the match due to the referee's decisions, but it was a form of disappointment because Roma lost, if Roma won the controversy would be ignored.

I think the match was really very tight because Sevilla who came out with high spirits to win didn't give Roma many goalscoring opportunities during regular time. They succeeded not because of the decisions of the referee although some things could have changed otherwise for Roma's chances.

Apart from the drama of the referee who led the game, in my opinion Sevilla really deserved to win the final and the Europa League title this season after playing with high intensity.

Roma are really good at defending, but have difficulty building attacks because Sevilla has put strong pressure since Roma have won 1 goal. Roma were also fortunate in that Sevilla were not awarded penalty after the referee reviewed the VAR for an unconsidered offence. The result of the match is determined fairly because both teams must determine their status in the penalty round. Congratulations to Sevilla on their 7th Europa League title, I expected it.
I think it's unfair because Roma's chances of winning the Europa League this season and the first time they have to run aground due to bad refereeing for 90 minutes. Everyone knows that the referee is very problematic and the competition organizers should not give the referee the task of officiating a very important match in the final.

The two teams have a very balanced record and undeniable history, perhaps Rome is the party that has suffered the most this time. Even after the match ended, Mourinho went to the parking lot to swear at the referee and it seemed like that was also a normal attitude for a coach, especially Mourinho, who was typically very tough.

Congratulations to Sevilla for winning the Europa League this season by beating AS Roma on penalties. Again and again Sevilla proves itself that they are one of the best clubs in the Europa League by winning again. Actually from the start they weren't many favorites because previously they faced Juventus and Manchester United, but they were able to get rid of them one by one and in the end they managed to lift the trophy. At the same time their success will lead them to the Champions League next season, even if they do not get a place in La Liga.

Sevilla is always not in doubt when they are in the final and this is the 7th trophy for Sevilla to win the Europa League title and they control more than any other team.

Roma only relied on defending and waiting for counterattacks, but indeed that was not effective enough for what he was doing and always stuck when he reached the penalty box because the defender from Seville had overcome Roma's attacks several times.

In fact, there are other opinions regarding handball, judging from the VAR it is quite clear, that the referee did not give a penalty to Roma, while for Sevilla, seen from the VAR, it was not a serious violation, so the referee also did not give a penalty, if you say it is fair or not there was a penalty, only with the handball from Sevilla it was clearer.

That is the referee's decision, can not be disturbed anymore.

Roma's mentality at the time of the penalty shootout was not quite ready and Sevilla looked calmer in doing it than Roma.

I didn't expect that AS Roma could only score 1 goal in a penalty shoot-out, and that is indeed a battle of luck that will make one of the clubs have to be satisfied with the result. If in the Champions League we have Real Madrid, then in the Europa League we have Sevilla.
I will speak a little out of the context of the Europa League, yes I really regret it when Sevilla in the domestic league cannot be like in the Europa League. In La Liga it looks like they are not strong enough to stay at the top. The previous 3 seasons they could always be in the top 4 of the standings, but this season they had to be knocked out by being in 11th place, even though that could still change in the last week, but still it was a decline they showed.

SEVILLA in UEL = REAL MADRID ON UCL.

Or even better.
La Liga domination you mean Wink
Sevilla owning every team in Europa League is an interesting story, regardless of their performance in their own league.

Bono was impressive in Sevilla as he was with Morocco national football team in Qatar World Cup 2022. He, among other players, were the success story of their nation. Bono particularly saved his goalie from many opportunities and penalties attracting the attention of everyone. Congratulations again to Sevilla and their players and fans for this victory and good luck for Roma and Mourinho.

Congratulations to Sevilla for winning the Europa League this season They have consistently proven to be one of the best clubs in the game which is really remarkable. Although Sevilla was not the favorite to win the championship from the beginning Sevilla journey is full of challenging opponents such as Juventus and Manchester United. However they showed resilience and determination as they cleared those hurdles one by one culminating in a thrilling penalty shootout victory over AS Roma in the final. Sevilla success is a testament to their excellent teamwork skill and tactical prowess. Her ability to rise up under pressure is truly commendable. The victory not only brought glory to the club but also secured their place in next season prestigious Champions League. Quite an achievement for a team that may not have achieved high stature in La Liga.
Sevilla Europa League journey has undoubtedly been filled with excitement, passion and determination. Their fans must be delighted when they see their beloved team conquer Europe once again. With the glory of this victory Sevilla cemented their reputation as a force to be reckoned with in European football. We can only look forward to more great performances and achievements from this fantastic club in the future.

It's a shame, especially about Gianluca Mancini who managed to create an assist for Dybala but Gianluca Mancini also scored an own goal. Also, I got some footage, it looks like Sevilla has quite the advantage because the referee doesn't seem to be on AS Roma's side. Because there was a moment when a Sevilla player had a hand ball in the penalty box, but the referee didn't make it a penalty because the hand ball occurred in the penalty box. If so, then Sevilla again and again get lucky because after all, if the referee made a fairer decision then it looks like AS Roma will still win until the end of the match with a score of 1-0 or 2-1.
I comprehend the frustration that arises when a referee displays clear bias during a game. However, I often ponder the scenario wherein players manage to score two goals against the opposing team, only for the referee to disallow them. In such a situation, there is a strong possibility that the referee might face legal consequences and end up in jail this time.

Sevilla team win yet again the europa league crowning themselves kings of this competition it was a good final both teams had multiple goal chances and either one could've been the champion but unlucky for roma, sevilla goalkeeper bono showed a great performance especially in the penalties and he allowed his team to win the title by stoping two of them.

I liked Sevilla's attacking play too. They looked better and stronger than Roma. Luck was on their side. After Sevilla won the Europa League many things can be said, but the result has already happened Roma were weaker.

I see this game ending in 1-0 in Sevilla's favor.
I predict the match will not end in normal time. both can score, they have chances. neither will hold back with the defensive and counterattack strategy we are used to seeing.
with normal time, maybe the two will be a draw. it might even be resolved until the round of penalties. I don't see which team is more favored. both have the same opportunity.
I agree with you that most likely this match will have to be decided on penalties. They both have a chance for that, AS Roma and Sevilla will not let their opponents find the net easily, and I think both clubs will make defense their main focus. Usually when two clubs meet in the final round, and between them there are still many shortcomings, they will try to bring the match to a lucky shootout (penalties). If this prediction is correct, then mentality and luck will determine who will become the champion.
and that mentality and luck went to Sevilla. this prediction was correct and Sevilla won the penalty shootout. Roma lost many of their mainstay players by replacing them to maintain team fitness. but they can't replace the mentality of the kickers which I don't think Mourinho really counted on. That is the worst possibility because Roma played with what they had planned. now they must regret missing the special ticket to UCL.

It is not only about the missing penalty for Roma but also about referee decisions in the first half. He gave Roma some yellow cards with unclear reasons, the yellow card for Pellegrini is correct but how about a same for Sevilla and Campos should be given a yellow card because he tried to get a penalty. Then the yellow card for Mancini when a Sevilla player pulled his skirt and torn it, weird. Another card for Cristante for stupid reason only the referee knows but I am not sure it happened in the first half or the second half.

Those cards caused a lot of issues for Roma players and they had to play how to avoid a second yellow card means a red card. At least the referee is right by checking VAR, then refuse a penalty for Sevilla. I am sure without VAR, that will be a penalty because Ibanez only touched the ball shortly before he touched Sevilla player.

However, at the end he refused a penalty for Roma and even did not check VAR is not right in my opinion.

Combine all those situations, I think Mourinho is right to call the referee is like a Spanish referee.
That's right and there seems to be something wrong with the referee Anthony Taylor and this will be a source of controversy in the Europa League final AS Roma Vs Sevilla, and I also saw it very clear and hard the ball hit Loic Bade's left hand when Roger Ibanez took a free kick.
the referee should have respected Roma's wish to apply VAR and there was a foul or at least respect the decision of the Roma players. And I assume that in that match Roma won because they continued to play well and kept the score even though the players looked tired, but they were able to survive until it ended in a penalty shootout.
