I hope we see some new transfers by Roma in this month by the way otherwise the rest of the season wouldn't probably be much different for them in the league at least. But in the Europa League we never know. Maybe they can reach the finale again at least.
Your hopes of seeing Roma new recruits may come true soon because Roma have reportedly agreed to borrow Dean Huijsen from Juventus, but if you want to see Roma's great signings this season then you have to be prepared to be disappointed because Roma reportedly only has a small budget for spending players and even according to the Italian media, Mourinho is only allowed to borrow players and not buy because currently Roma is still under UEFA's Financial Fair Play supervision, so it is very difficult to see star players coming to Roma on loan, I think with conditions like now Mourinho can't be blamed if he fails to bring Roma to the Uefa league final, because with the current squad it will be very difficult for Mourinho to reach the final in my opinion and even in the league we can see how Roma are still teetering at 8th place in Serie A with only 8 wins from 19 matches, so what can we expect from Roma in the European league at the moment.?

Roma are a good side. Their manager Mourinho has some kind of special ability to raise up a team into a pretty much successful squad. Even with the loopholes they're faced with, he's still been able to help the team stand out in some games. Injury has definitely been a number one deprivation of a team's performance but the manager has been able to make do with the players and squad he's got available and even though not perfect as expected, they're not relenting in their efforts.
As Roma is a very bright club and they have been doing very well irrespective of most of there injured players they were able to maintain there performance, I really commend on there performance against Napoli because I never believe they could win Napoli on that match but however they were able to win them 2-0 and not only that match but so many of there matches they surprises me with there wining. Although they are having some difficulties on there Serie A league, it seems there main focus is not on that league because there performance is quite low compare to there performance on other leagues, however there next match is against Lazio and I believe that As Roma will be able to win that match in other to improve there position on the league.

It is a really important season for Mourinho for sure as he is in his last year of his contract with Roma. If there is no proper improvement then he will probably get sacked.

Therefore the Europa League is also extra important for Mourinho. Roma reached the finale in the previous season but got eliminated dramatically against Sevilla. Mourinho was really angry with the referee Anthony Taylor as well as you can remember. Mourinho must be seeing it as an incomplete job now so he would be ambitious for the title here. But to be able to reach the finale again they need to play much more extra than now.  Sad

Do you think Roma management will blame Mourinho for Roma's failure? I do not think so because Roma couldn't bring in the players Mourinho wanted so Mourinho's plans were hampered the situation would be different if Mourinho could bring in the players he was targeting. Even if Mourinho has to move next season it won't be because of his failure but because he wants to find a better club and with sufficient financial support, Roma is currently having financial problems which impacts their performance. We can see with the arrival of Lukaku Roma performance is slightly better and imagine if they could bring in more players.

It is the truth that Roma could have made more transfers to strengthen the squad and maybe they would do it in this month. But Mourinho would still be expected to make the team as competitive as possible in the league. Especially if they finish at a worse position than the previous season it is harder to see him extending his contract in my opinion.

It is likely that Roma management wants to see Mourinho performance this season, what the man from Portugal can offer before the club offers him a new contract extension. On the other hand, it could be that Mourinho no longer wants to continue his adventure at Roma next season, and winning the Europa League trophy this season is his main priority.

Financially, Roma could not fulfill all of Mourinho wishes in the transfer window, fortunately they were able to bring in Lukaku from Chelsea even on loan. I think the Mourinho factor, who has worked with him, made Lukaku willing to move to Roma, indeed Inter could not afford the asking price that Chelsea wanted to recruit Lukaku.

I don't think there will be any big name new recruits brought in by Roma management this January, but here Roma could show a different performance than in Serie A. It is hoped that The Special One experience on the European stage can help Roma win the title this season, however Let's see how they face Feyenoord in the play offs first.

In fact, this will indeed be a very difficult situation for Leverkusen to lose several important players, but it all depends on Xabi how he will overcome this problem and if he is the one who has had a big influence on Leverkusen's success, he certainly has other plans to maintain his performance so as not to lose the match next.
But at least we have to be sure that this problem can be solved by this great coach, even though he has to compete without important players, but there are always many ways for coaches to maintain the stability of their club and we will see later whether Leverkusen will get new players from the transfer market or just using backup players.
We don't need to worry and I really agree with what you said, if Xabi able to resolve this condition and continue to perform as usual, I will believe that Leverkusen is a strong candidate to hold the UEL trophy.

This would actually shift too much of the burden into the hands of Xabi Alonso. I think if a lot of players are absent because they have to play or want to play for their national teams, every coach has limited options and solutions to problems. When people say that it all depends on Xabi Alonso now, what can he even do when so many of his most important players are gone for an extended period of time? What would other coaches do when several of their most important players are gone?

Some of the clubs have high quality players sitting on the bench, but compensating for several absent top players is difficult. No matter how good you are as a coach, but there are limits when compensation of missing players is necessary.
yes, it is true that Xabi Alonso may not be able to do much because of the limitations of a coach's mind and indeed if all of that is given to Xabi he certainly won't be able to complete everything, but the most important thing is that Xabi definitely has a good plan to manage the existing players so they can remain consistent and Do you think that when they lose several important players, Leverkusen will be able to remain consistent and remain unbeaten?
If this question was addressed to me and I would answer it, it might be a little difficult because no matter how strong a club, will definitely experience defeat, but if Xabi is able to maintain its consistency to be unbeaten, this will be sign that Leverkusen really very strong without this club important players. able to perform truly extraordinary.
I remember that Xabi still has many ways to overcome this, all using reserve players to fill empty places after that Xabi will continue to provide training and strategies that will be used to maintain consistency.

Last season's defending champions are nowhere to be found, yes that would be Sevilla who had to return home early from the Champions League without being able to participate in the Europa League. They are very famous in the European League, because they are recorded as champions here very often. Last season they also proved that they are a club that can compete in the European League and beat AS Roma in the final. But unfortunately they are now not here to spread threats to other clubs.
This season Sevilla are very worrying, they are not like the Sevilla I saw before. They are struggling to perform well in the matches they play. In La Liga they are now 16th, which doesn't speak well for a club that has won Europa League titles before.
Every season comes with its variation such that big team could suffer losses enough to not be seen in their big name as they used to be known, Sevilla last season was very outstanding and normally we would expect they this season they will be high in the confidence as winners of the Europa last season but then they literally struggled at the UCL and was unable to get pass group stage.

Sevilla has really performed poorly this season and even in the la Liga they may stand chances of relegation if they continue in their recent form but then the January transfer window is still open if they would want to make some adjustments and probably strengthen their team to getting back on their feet via transfer of a few players who could join the team and help them make up for the positions where they are lacking. With their current form, I doubt if they would be able to do any better at the Europa if they were opprtuned to be at the Europa this season because the Europa is very competitive as compared to last season.

Sevilla has really performed poorly this season. They are very different from last season where last season they were able to appear quite competitive in the League. I was surprised that they didn't make it to the European league because we know that Sevilla is very famous in the European league. But it seems like this season they can't do much because I think they have a little problem in their squad. I remember there is a saying that an average team will usually find it difficult to appear competitive in every season. I think there is some truth to this theory with Sevilla's performance this season compared to last season.

Without Jose Mourinho as the manager of AS Roma, I don't think Roma would be regarded much as one of the top sides in this season's UEFA Europa League competition but because of the managerial experience and abilities of the Portuguese manager, many people of already considering them as major contenders to win the competition this season. Last season, AS Roma reached the final of the competition before they were beaten by Spanish club Sevilla which was the first ahd only time Jose Mourinho lost an European final. Roma are still on course to reach the final again this season and I'm very optimistic that they're very likely to win if Roma should reach the final again.

This season's campaign of the UEFA Europa League competition is more rougher than that of last season because two other high performing clubs are playing in the competition. Liverpool who are at the top of the English Premier League table and Bayer Leverkusen who are also at the top of the German Bundesliga are two clubs that's been back by majority including bookmakers to win the competition this season but with Jose Mourinho as Roma's manager, I think they have a very good chance of winning it as well

The European competition would definitely favour them, they only need to strive to win a ticket. Undoubtedly, it won't be an easy task for them scaling through, there are still tough teams in the contest and they'll only have to scale through them all before being able to lift the trophy. Well, with Mourinho, it's not really a big dream, it's actually feasible. I'd admit that the team and manager are very much compatible maybe it's the resonance that's natural or maybe Mourinho's great coaching ability at work but at the moment, the situation in the team is in safe hands and patiently and gently, they'd stride to the spots they want to be.

Actually, I think anybody would like Mourinho in their team. If you ask me, I will say AS Roma is doing good. Mourinho did bring them the Uefa Conference League trophy and looks like they will probably finish in the top 6 in this series right now. I think the only reason they are underperforming right now is due to injury. You know, 2 of his most important players, Lukaku and Dyabla were injured recently and thus they were losing some games. But I believe they will come back.
You're right about Mourinho's impact at AS Roma. He's a tactical genius, as Roma's UEFA Conference League win shows. Not only are they not leading Serie A, but injuries have plagued them. Losing Lukaku and Dybala, even temporarily, is devastating for any squad. Their top-6 finish is excellent despite these hurdles.

Dybala's return and scoring are improving things, in my perspective. Roma has the fortitude to recover. I expect them to do well in the Europa League under Mourinho. He is exceptional at teamwork and strategy under duress.

IMO, last season Sevilla's luck was so great that in the end they were even able to win the Europa League trophy. I don't mean to underestimate any of the teams from the Spanish League, but in terms of play, they are indeed very lucky. Sevilla was able to overcome the obstacles, even overthrowing Manchester United at that time. however, if at the same time United had not been hit by a storm of injuries, perhaps the situation would have been different. apart from that, Juventus was also defeated by Sevilla and As Roma in the final match. even though in fact most of the matches that Sevilla played were ugly wins, the fact is that they were able to do so with their efforts and hard work. unfortunately, this season Sevilla was unable to participate in the Europa League competition. they failed to finish in 3rd place in the group stage of the Champions League. not only that, even his position in the Domestic League is also in danger of dropping into the red zone.

Now, Sevilla has changed coaching within half a season. starting from Mendilibar, Diogo Alonso, and now handled by Quique Sanzhez Flores. in fact, I only found out after you reviewed Sevilla that now the training chairs have changed. however, it is hoped that this new coach will be able to increase the motivation of the Sevilla players. at least, Quique Sanzhez Flores has experience in managing many clubs and has also managed Atletico Madrid. the new coach has managed Sevilla in 4 matches, 2 wins and 2 defeats. let's see how things develop, whether Sevilla is able to improve itself and at least be able to finish in the rankings to get a ticket to the Europa League next summer.

Jose Mourinho is a good coach and has keep on with his leadership qualities even when coaching teams like Roma, he led the team to Eefa Conference League Victory last season, and now trying his best to see what he can do in the Europa League.
Injuries affected their performance that is why they are not yet in the top five teams of the Seria A table, but Dybala is back from injury and has already scored one goal in their ongoing match against Atalanta, I think they will soon bounce back to compete for the Europa League title together with Leverkusen, Liverpool, and others.

He's struggling regardless of his leadership and coaching skills because he doesn't have the players he wanted to be provided by As Roma, but with his experience, he is working night and day with the players he currently has.
Tjis is the January Transfer Window and they're yet to make a direct move for any big player. Jose Mourinho has done well, I feel like he should manage a big side like a national team.

Gennaro Gattuso also be involved in this competition, hopefully he goes farther than I expect him to do, he should be successful with Marseille.

Mourinho's ability to think outside the box and his dedication to improving Roma have earned him widespread admiration and countless expressions of appreciation. Jose mourinho sometimes was doing crazy thing like using the non sense strategy like when it faced a low tier club in copa italia.
Roma is lucky enough to have mourinho on its side caused by he was helping the club to win so many trophies. I can't even imagine roma without him. Roma will not able to win conference league without him.

It has been very long time since roma was winning the trophy and mourinho makes it happen. This is a very good situation for roma to bring another trophy for the club again. I do appreaciate what he was doing in roma and it's all giving a huge impact to the club.

The coaching prowess of Mourinho across Europe isn't a news because it's in the records how much he has already achieved with various teams across Europe which he has so far, so at Roma if he's able to get the team to achieving much it will definitely not be much news because we weren't expecting less of him going by his records.

Injuries has always been a great challenge to every team across every league but the ability of such team to be able to bounce back on their feet after such makes them stand out and continually maintain a good position on the league table. But then I'm still yet to be convinced about the possibilities of them been able to win the Europa this season going by their performance so far in the Europa not minding that they were able to get pass group stage they still don't look formidable enough to compete with teams such as Liverpool, Leverkusen and AC Milan who looks like the top teams in the Europa this season.
I dont want to think too highly of Mou at the moment because after all when saying he is a good coach it is a fact but on the other hand we are also certainly aware for this time saying Mou is a good coach with his performance that is down compared to his prime then obviously he is not as good as before.
He is an eccentric coach but his conservative coaching style has backfired because of the oldfashioned style of coaching that he is always proud of.

Mou is still in the play off fae and their opponent has a record that is actually quite exciting when looking at the h2h This is a big match for both and we certainly know that Feyenoord is also currently a troublesome club so now we will see whether Mou concertfative scheme can beat Feyenoord just like the previous match or not because looking at the current statistics their last 5 match ended with 3 Roma wins 1 draw and 1 loss.

Arsenal in FA Cup since winning the competition in 2020:

2021: Knocked out in the fourth round by Southampton ❌

2022: Knocked out in the third round by Nottingham Forest ❌

2023: Knocked out in the fourth round by Manchester City ❌

2024: Knocked out in the third round by Liverpool ❌

Seriously Arsenal team is struggling so hard to win matches these days. Quite obvious it is another year of no trophies for Arsenal. What the team need is total liberation and restoration.
They had the opportunity last season to win the title but in the end failed and had to accept that the title they could get had to be owned by Manchester City.
And last season should have been lesson and evaluation so that this season and next season Arsenal can get trophy that perhaps they haven't been able to have for several seasons.
Arsenal failure in the Europa League last season was also quite shame because they had to face the bitter reality where the Premier League failed and the Europa League also failed.
In the FA Cup competition itself, in the third round, they were defeated by Liverpool with score of 0 - 2, but this was a fitting defeat because Liverpool was in very good condition, in fact Liverpool itself had quite big chance of becoming Premier League champions.

We see how Arsenal develops this season, whether it will be like last season or could be much better.

Of course this will be a burden for Xabi Alonso because important players have to be absent in a long time. This will also be detrimental to Leverkusen if important players are at risk of injury so that Xabi Alonso will experience even more pressure. Indeed, all clubs definitely depend on their respective coaches if something happens. If the club experiences a decline in the coach, it will definitely also be affected because the coach has a big responsibility in building the club's performance. Maybe the only thing Xabi Alonso has to do is develop good quality in some of his reserve players so that Leverkusen continues to play consistently even though some of his players are absent for a while old.

The coach really depends on the quality of the players, and vice versa, if a player has good quality but is not developed well with a coach then his quality is the same as an average player. But since the arrival of Xabi Alonso it turns out that Leverkusen does not have star players like Bayern Munich but Xabi can still make the club consistent until now, so I think even though Leverkusen's important players are absent Xabi can still take advantage of the existing players.

Don't forget if mourinho was also bringing roma to the runner up of europa league last season. this proves that if mourinho was still worthy enough to be a good coach for as roma. he was just try to pay the bad result achieved by roma once it was facing sevilla in the final of europa league last season.
It's really surprise me to see that how sevilla could beat roma in the final and there was no sevilla this season and this can be a good momentum for as roma to get the europa league trophy this season. The next opponent of roma will not be so difficult to get passed.

Dybala and lukaku are the keys owning by roma to win the europa league this season. Roma has lost a chance to compete for scudetto in serie a caused by the domination from sevilla. Liverpool and leverkusen are the biggest obstacles for roma.
I hope jose can make roma to be even better this season. Europa league must become the main target after it was losing last season. This can be a good motivation for roma to play better than last season.
Having lukaku in the club was helping the club so much. I do appreciate all of jose mourinho's work in roma.
