Ruben Amorim seems to be relying on Ten Hag legacy squad until the end of the season, and will only completely overhaul his squad in June. However, a January transfer deal is possible, but they will have to let go of some existing players first to achieve their goals. If I understand correctly, Ruben Amorim position is a coach and not a manager like Ten Hag. If that is true, it will clearly limit his room to move in the transfer market. Meanwhile, fans expectations will obviously increase drastically with the appointment of Ruben Amorim, which is understandable, but I agree that fans should not expect too much in his first season.
Manchester United fans do not need to expect more from Ruben Amorim for this season because he also needs to make a good adjustment with the players and the current condition of the Manchester United team. But if Ruben Amorim is able to provide something better since this season to Manchester United, it will certainly make his name very famous and praised by Manchester United fans even though he does not have the authority to buy new players because he is only tasked with being an ordinary coach in the current Manchester United team.

But can he lead Manchester United to the Europa League trophy this season or will Manchester United fans come up with the excuse that we should give him more time at the club. There are managers that takeover the management of a club and brings them success instantly by winning them some trophies. Erik ten hag did it for Manchester United when he took over therefore Ruben Amorim have to do the same or for me he has failed. Arteta did it for Arsenal too and when managers bring success to the club then the club can give them more time to build the team to the standard that they can work with the players to bring success to the club.
Do you expect Ruben Amorim wins UEL trophy with Man United in his first season? I think it is too early to expect a big trophy, Ruben Amorim may need some adaptations on Man United. He probably won't win any trophy in his first season. It is not easy to manage a team like Man United because this team has too complicated problems. I assume we don't expect too much on him in this season. I personally only want to see Man United can finish in the top 5. If Ruben Amorim can do it, I think he is successful in this season. For UEL trophy, it shouldn't be a priority because it is something difficult to get by Man United in this season.

UEFA took a scandalous decision and usurped Beşiktaş's right to play home matches. While the Maccabi Tel Aviv match should have been played in İstanbul, it was announced that it would be played in another country. This is stealing Beşiktaş's right, on what grounds can you usurp a home game? Unfortunately, the UEFA mafia is at work again. The situation in Israel doesn't affect the away games of football teams in any way. If the situation was the other way around, the match should have been played somewhere else instead of Israel, but the match is in Türkiye, not Israel. Why is such a decision being taken? Israel has a strong lobby, but there is no proper justification for this decision. Because there is no logical explanation. Beşiktaş can beat that team anywhere, but it's not acceptable that our right was stolen in front of our eyes. Legal experts should examine this situation and a solid compensation should be obtained. This decision is harmful for us both in football and economically. UEFA should compensate us for this. The Turkish government should do everything it can against this decision and protect Turkish clubs.

It reminds me of the 22/23 season. Everyone talked about United winning the Europa League, but they didn't. Too many people are discussing only Manchester United. They are unaware that we have Roma, which is becoming the Serie A version of Manchester United.  Cheesy Cheesy

And Manchester United is still play europa league against Glimt under RVN.

I don't see any direct odds for the title right now, but here are the teams' odds of reaching the final:

Tottenham Hotspur - 2.63

Manchester United - 4.50

Athletic Bilbao - 5.00

Lazio - 5.50

As Roma - 6.00

Real Sociedad - 7.00

Fc Porto - 8.00

Galatasaray - 8.00

Eintracht Frankfurt - 9.00

Lyon - 9.00

There is obviously a direct correlation with title chances. United are much closer to Lazio, Athletic, etc. than Tottenham. You can say that Tottenham are the favorites and all the others are underdogs, and it is difficult to argue with such an assessment because Tottenham looks better than the other teams and there will be no “additions” from the Champions League this year.

You guys are too early on the  Rúben Amorim speculations on a possible Man Utd UEL trophy win. Ruben hasn't even taken the reigns yet but the debate is already getting heated. I would prefer if we wait at least till the group phase is finished and observed how well Man Utd performs in the 5 remaining fixtures. If he's going to win the UEL with Man Utd, there would be signs like Man Utd like success group stage + knockout stages before we start even talking about quarter + semis.

Hopefully what is being talked about now about Manchester United's future with Ruben can become a reality. But for the fans, I hope you don't hope too much, because if it doesn't come true, it will be even more disappointing. There's nothing wrong with hoping for something, with the note that I said at the beginning, don't be too excessive. I can't say for sure whether the players who were inherited are enough for him to make a change, or he needs until the transfer window opens to make his performance even more optimal. Because some of the players who were inherited, when Erik ten Hag became their coach, played below their best performance, and hopefully his arrival can make the players be at their best level.

Of course, we should not rush to say some things. But Manchester United needed such a refresh. Ruben Amorim is a successful name, he will definitely be of great help to the team. The team can be very successful after Manchester United makes 1-2 transfers, they have a stronger squad than the teams in this league. Of course, the players and the coach need to get used to each other, but Amorim is a coach who can do this, everything will be fine Smiley

Ruben Amorim is a good coach, and I don’t think he necessarily needs direction from Ruud van Nistelrooy to understand the situation at Manchester United or the condition of the players after Erik ten Hag’s dismissal. He’s a skilled coach with the technical know-how to connect with his players. Given that the current club captain is Portuguese, I wouldn’t be surprised if he quickly builds a strong rapport with the new team and players, allowing him to focus on the tasks ahead.

No one knows yet, because it's not a most that he can win trophy for the first time that he took over as the club intrim manager. Not being able to any any title this season doesn't mean that he will not be a good coach and win trophies in future. What Van Nistelrooy needs to focus on is creating a team with tight bond and very creative so that they can find it easy to win their opponents and also prevent defeats in most of their matches. If Manchester united did not win any trophy this season, I am not bothered if their performance improves, because they started the season poorly.

Since Manchester United sacked Ten Hag, we have to forget the chapter of Ten Hag and open the chapter of the new one who took over Manchester United. It's what you wanted we all were not happy with the former manager of Manchester United Ten Haag although it took a long time to sack this manager Manchester United still but they took a good decision if late. Manchester United's new manager is expected to take over on November 9 or 10. He will be responsible for the other team that he is in charge of these days and he will definitely try to make different plans with Manchester United. However, we hope that Manchester United will return to good performance under the hands of the current manager of Manchester United.

It seems like it will be much harder for Manchester United to win the UEL trophy because even though they have a new coach for the future and maybe Ruben needs to do some adaptation first to change the overall pattern of Manchester United's game. The group stage is not over yet and there are a few games that might have to be played so we can see how strong Manchester United are under his guidance. It is too early to speculate on that because other teams also have the same hopes of winning the UEL trophy.
You are right to a great extent but never say never as some other coaches in their first season at a team they have been able to win trophies, literally Bayer Leverkusen is an example as last season was the first time xabi was made a coach but he was able to win trophies and change the narrative of the dominance of a particular team in their domestic league so I believe it's possible with Manchester United they only may need quick adaptations to a working strategy and they are most likely good to go without having to stress much around the game.

The question is whether their new coach can live up to expectations? because now he hasn't even started his duties yet and we have to wait for that first. now the competition is still very long and is still in the league phase and there are still a few more matches left to see who will be in the next round and who will be in the play-off round to get a ticket to the last 16.
It's still too early to talk about all that, we have to be patient at least until their new coach has really handled and accompanied in every match that Manchester United will do. Now we just have to see what adaptation he will do, whether it will be fast or take more time.

I definitely agree with you on this one. I mean I don't think too many people here really believe that Manchester United is in a position to win the Europa League trophy. They may have a good game or two, but inconsistency will get them eliminated along the way or otherwise the new coach would have to be a magician and they would need a lot of luck.

In the Europa League I think a team like Lazio is more destined to win it. They may not be playing their best in the domestic league, but they are one of these teams that understand how to effectively play in these knockout competitions. A bit similar to how Sevilla did it for quite a while. Manchester United usually doesn't get very far with a single goal as they lack the cleverness and I doubt that the new coach will be able to change that drastically with the players he has at hand. As I said before, this is not quite the best team at all and they barely work as a unit.

The thing remains that so many persons want to draw their conclusions already without having to wait a few more times and see how well it goes with the players or coach, and for Manchester United it's quite understandable after having to go through all of that they had to go through in the season that passed because it wasn't a fossy one and they can't wait already to se what the new coach has got and how well he will be able to salvage that team from their said plight.

You could see that Manchester United is still not a hopeless case. It is weird, but so is Chelsea in the Premier League when they can go from top to worse and back within a week. I don't know, but every time I see Manchester United's team on paper, I still think that on some positions they could tremendously improve if they got some other players on board. It's not coming across as if the club had a concept in recent years. You could say the same about Chelsea, but they have so many players rotating that sometimes it is hard to keep track of their whole team.

But then again they shouldn't tie all these games against clubs like Twente or Fenerbahce. I understand that away from home the game against Porto can end in a draw, but they have now started with three draws, which I think could turn into a problem for them later down the road. Nothing is lost yet, but clearly nothing is won either.

Come on, not all managers are successful on their first season.

We haven't even see a match where Manchester United is managed by Amorim, we can't draw any conclusion.

Europa League isn't easy too, there are many top teams like Galatasaray, FC Porto, Lazio etc, honestly I wouldn't give any expectation they will become a champion, it's different to Europa Conference where most of the teams are mediocre.

But, I'm sure Manchester United will win in the upcoming match, PAOK Thessaloniki FC is a nothing team.

I think don't expect too much like that at the beginning, because if the reality is not as expected then you will be very disappointed. Because after all, basically Ruben Amorim also does not have much experience to be the head coach of a top  team in the Premier League, so there is still  no guarantee for Ruben Amorim to be successful at Manchester United. Because after all, about Erik ten Hag also at the beginning of his arrival it was very flattered and Erik ten Hag also at least succeeded in his first season at that time.

But after all, in reality Erik ten Hag still failed and even though he managed to make Manchester United get a trophy but Erik ten Hag was still fired. So, I think there is absolutely no guarantee about Ruben Amorim, because Ruben Amorim's experience is also limited to having good results in Portugal  and not for teams in different leagues.

It is only logical that Ruben Amorim has caught the eye of United fans, particularly given his track record. First with Braga leading them to a title, and then with Sporting CP where he led them to a league title after so many years marked Amorim as a courageous and promising young coach. For most United Fans, he represents a beacon of hope following his success story in Portugal, perhaps being the figure to restore United's lost glory.

However, it must be borne in mind that the Premier League is a different challenge—in fact, a tougher level of competition. Amorim's success in Portugal should certainly give cause for optimism, but it still takes time, and full support from the club and players. High expectations of him can be motivating—the fans need to expect much from him; they also have to give him that space to adapt without too much pressure to bear down on him because every such move brings quite a few new difficulties to overcome.

Indeed, there is no guarantee that a team with a new coach can provide a better future and even experienced coaches will also fail in a team if they have certain problems.
I mean like right now some people hope for Ruben Amorim to be able to bring MU to a higher level, that makes sense because as long as Ruben Amorim is given the freedom to recruit players and he can bring in quality players, I think the opportunity is still there even though it is not guaranteed.

And in my opinion as long as Ruben Amorim is still accompanied by Van Nistelrooy, everything will be fine and MU will soon improve.
We'll see later in the upcoming match Man United will face PAOK will be the first victory that MU gets in the European league this season.
