Manchester United fans have high expectations of Amorim. Amorim is not old. So it is expected that he will be able to build a friendly relationship with the players. And identify Manchester United's problems. Hopefully, with the help of Amorim, we will see better performance from Manchester United in the future.

That part is good, he's a young coach, I don't know if in the future we will become stubborn and capricious old men because we don't understand the problems that people who are younger than us have at a given moment, but we must have a lot of tolerance, that was what Ten Hag lacked, I'm sure that many players told him that and he didn't like it, from then on what came were pure mistakes and he made the club look very bad in every sense, for me he was the worst mistake of the MU in history, I don't think anyone will come and do worse than him, I see a better MU, with more desire, I like how they play.

I'm expecting the arrival of new players come the January transfer hopefully, and in other to help boost the Man Utd's squad.  Amorim's football tactics is something that will take a bit of time for the players to adapt in, I'm not expecting magic to happen immediately, but with time if he's playing tactics is worth, we definitely gonna see the impact in the team but just with time, the problem of Manchester United isn't something someone would rush in, its need some time to study which strategy is going to work and which one isn't gonna work.
Amorim was already saying he would need to make some adjustments with the team in other to get the desired results and that will involve the bringing in of some new players,, one of the key players he even wanted to bring along is gyokerse who turns out an expensive deal which the management of Manchester United isn't conclusive yet about his transfer but if the need b, I believe they will get that deal through by January because the impact is such that cannot be overly emphasized.
Personally, I tend to think that Man United will only actively shop for players after the end of the season, but it is possible that they will reach an agreement with Viktor Gyokeres in the January transfer market. Every coach certainly has his own strategy, and that is why Amorim needs players who fit the needs of the strategy he wants to implement. Joshua Zirkzee seems to be sacrificed if Amorim really brings in Gyokeres, and Hujlund needs to work hard to secure his place in the front line.

Meanwhile, with the depth of the squad inherited by Ten Hag, Amorim seems to still be able to achieve his target, at least winning the Europa League trophy. His first match against Ipswich Town in the Premier League ended in a draw, we will see how he reacts in the next match against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League. On paper, Man United are very favored, considering that they will also act as hosts.

Any one seeing this current Manchester United players will definitely know that they will be a very big squad reshuffle before Amorim can actually implement his playing style properly. The two important positions that will affect this Amorim style of play is the wing backs which I think the left wing is most important and the striker position. During the weekend when Marcus Rashford started one could easily see his flaws and that he wouldn’t do that much better there other than his preferred position, as Hojlund the main striker it is more like the manager hasn’t trusted him like that maybe because they haven’t trained that much together, as for Zirkzee I don’t think he will fit Into Amorim system and as such I see him leaving Manchester United much more a likely.

As for potential new signings. He hasn’t asked specifically for Goyekeres or any, he hasn’t asked for may and also rule out January signings at the moment big we all know there jd definitely going to be a reshuffle

UEFA Europe League match Manchester United vs FK Bodø/Glimt

Ruben Amorim's debut with Manchester United was not very good after being draw by relegated team Ipswich Town in the premier league match, today Amorim will begin his journey at Europe League match by facing FK Bodø/Glimt. Actually is not easily team for Manchester United because both of teams have few points left on current standings and Manchester United have opportunity reach until 7th standings place if can secure three points.
Forget with bad result at premier league match and Ruben Amorim must improve well if won't loss his reputation after having good perform with Sporting Lisbon not only at domestic league but also in Champion league match. If loss three points have bad possibility for Manchester United to play at playoff round match because automatically qualify only the top eight standings position.

If Manchester United does not finish or fails to finish in the top eight but Manchester United only finishes in the top 24, then Manchester United still plays in the play-off round but for 1/16 or the last 32, and if Manchester United qualifies then Manchester United advances to the next play-off round in 1/8 or the last 16. Thus, it is very possible for Manchester United  to advance to the knockout round. Although there is no certainty whether Amorim has succeeded in improving Manchester United's performance, but I am sure, if only to qualify for that round, of course Manchester United still has a chance. Unless they have a target to advance to the semifinals or finals, then I would doubt it.

I'm excitedly waiting for our game against AZ Alkmaar.  Roll Eyes  We are favoured according to bookmakers and I'm thinking of a bet on Galatasaray @2.16.

A Turkish team which is Fenerbahçe have already played against AZ Alkmaar this season and they lost by 3-1. We had better be careful not to have a similar scenario.

We are technically stronger than Fenerbahçe at attacking. But we also have defensive issues. I hope this doesn't cause us trouble. I expect good performances from especially Osimhen and Yunus.

Usually clubs that are not too favored in the European League from the beginning are able to provide a surprise at the end, initially these clubs were not so glanced at in the European League and most people favored the Premier League clubs to win the UEL title but in fact the Premier League clubs are not as good as these clubs in the matches they have played so far, if we remember last season Liverpool was very favored to win the title in the UEL but they couldn't even survive until the final, and finally underdog club won the UEL title last season, in the UEL sometimes the winner is not the club that was favored from the beginning.
I don't entirely agree with you. Situations like this are not common but they are also part of what makes football exciting. That said, I believe the English teams in the Europa league this season have a strong chance of winning the title. English teams have a rich history in European competitions and can easily adapt to different styles of play. Their experience combined with their fans unwavering support and the competitiveness of the EPL prepares them for challenges in the Europa league.

At least, AS Roma only need to be in the top 25 because then, AS Roma will enter the play offs but it is still difficult for AS Roma with the situation and conditions that have not improved like this. But at least, Ranieri may be said to be still quite lucky, because he does not have to work hard to make AS Roma enter the top 25,b ecause AS Roma is already in the top 25. Thus, Ranieri should  still be able to make AS Roma enter the play offs, although the chance for AS Roma to qualify and advance further remains difficult. But at least, Ranieri still has to make his best  efforts to be able to make AS Roma back into a great team in Serie A and also in the Europa League with the fast  recovery needed.
It has been a terrible start to the season for AS Roma. They are also playing very badly in the Italian league. They also fell short of expectations in the Europa League. When Roma is mentioned, everyone thinks of the old Roma, full of success. However, Roma is far from their old performance today. They changed their manager and Ranieri is trying to pull them together a bit. I think they can stay in the Europa League in the Play-offs. The opponent they will face in the Play-offs is very important. If they beat that opponent, we will see which team will come in the top eight. Roma will find themselves in time. They are a team that can also advance to the upper rounds in the Europa League.
So far we know that the ranieri is an experienced coach and of course he can bring positive changes with his experience and strategy, in my opinion, the key to Roma's revival I think lies in their defense, so the ranieri will most likely try to improve their  defense.

If we talk about their chances in the Europa League, of course the play-offs will be the toughest challenge for them at the moment, although I believe the Rainieri will bring a lot of positive changes to Roma at the moment in Serie A, but I personally am not sure they will be able to rise and improve their position in the UEL table given the poor results they have achieved before and I think they are too late for rise.

Likewise, the match against Ipswich in the Premier League, Man United actually has a much more competitive depth. Well, as with the match against Bodo/Glimt, we cannot be sure that United will work much better. So we can see that it is not enough to just take a short time to bring United back to its highest level of play. In addition, Amorim is not like Nistelrooy who continues the system that Ten Hag previously implemented, although of course there are some changes implemented by Nistelrooy, whether it is strategy or something. Maybe if Amorim implemented the same system, United's players would only continue the gameplay like the previous coach. However, because he has different ideas and programs, Amorim tries to apply it to his team. In order to be able to run well according to Amorim's wishes, it seems that it takes time and also some changes, including rotating his players. Apart from Nistelrooy's role, as a head coach he seems to have his own way. Moreover, it is likely that both of them have different assessments, whether it is related to the system or strategy. Well, if we talk about the match against Bodo, the bookies are far favoring Manchester United even though they have not achieved an impressive game. Based on the betting exchange, United's odds have a very obvious gap compared to Bodo/Glimt, especially since Man United is playing at their home base, Old Trafford. It seems that this match is an exception, which means that United has a high probability of winning based on the betting exchange. Anyway, all of this is just my temporary assumption, we'll see later when this match is held.

Manchester United and Ipswich Town score was equal and no team won the match. Both teams did 1,1 goal in this match and that was a match of Premier League . Rashford did first goal of the match and he performed by very well in this match and we saw that player when he did goal at 2 minutes of the match and after that we saw goal from opponent team because opponent team became conscious and they did goal in this match. Hutchinson was the person who did goal at 43 minutes of the match . That match was organized in the Portman Road stadium . But Man United overall performance was good because they gave more passes in this match and their possession percentage was excellent and that was 60 percent and passes of that team were 649.

I think Manchester United will definitely be making one or two signings during the January transfer window in other to help the club new manager Ruben Amorim balance the squad but even without the arrival of a new player, I think Manchester United team is star-studded already and can be able to challenge in the biggest competitions. Ruben Amorim have only overseen one game with the team while also trying to establish his own style and in coming games, I expect the Manchester United players to get familiar with the new manager's style so they can get back to winning ways

The Manchester United players had a hard time understanding Amorim's style of play after their last game, and I believe they needed to adjust to it in order to win their game. Every manager has his style, so they shouldn't expect Amorim to stick to Ten Hag's strategy. Since that was their first game using the Amorim method, I'm confident they'll become used to it. However, I'm hoping the management will sign more players for Amorim during the January transfer.
It's a new game strategy and people shouldn't expect a perfect result immediately, because the players are not robots but humans. In the beginning, it might seems difficult for the players to understand the new strategy but like you said, gradually, they will pick up and when they have mastered it, winning will become very easy for them. I am not expecting too much from Amorim third season because he must pass through some obstacles to put the team in a good form, and that's the stage he is in currently.

Will Roma make it to the playoffs?

Roma currently in not a safe position and they will meet Tottenham, which I think high unlikely they will beat Tottenham.

However, the teams below Roma rank also unlikely to win.

Real Sociedad vs Ajax, Ajax likely to win.
Braga vs Hoffenheim, Hoffenheim looks strong recently.
FC Twente vs Union St.Gilloise, FC Twente might able to get at least one point.
Nice vs Rangers, Nice might win.

There's need 4 teams to kick Roma to not reach top 24 position, but what I listed above, only two teams are possible to win.
There are 4 more games left, so we really do not know who will do it. Roma is 20th and have 5 points, which is why I believe they are not at safe place at the moment, some teams are at safe positions, seems like 10 points could be the barrier to be in top 24, so reaching 5 more points or more in 4 games could be done but Roma is unlikely to win the next game against Tottenham, so that will be zero points, meaning they need to win some games from whatever remains.

The likely result would be that we are going to see Roma end up dropping out of top 24, and if they recover then that's great but the possibility of them not recovering is there too. With Ranieri taking the position, it looks like we should be seeing how they could do better as well, he is a great manager and should be doing fine as well. I believe they acted very quickly to find a replacement, Ranieri didn't take that much time, the moment Juric was out, Ranieri was in, so that saved them some time.

Like it or not, it will definitely happen, I mean when a team has a very great coach and brings it to a golden era, after he leaves, the coach who comes will always be in the shadow of the previous coach. Sir Alex Ferguson has achieved success with Manchester United in the past, after his era there has been no coach who has been able to bring Manchester United to the same success. The fans, management and people related to Manchester United will definitely always expect their new coach to at least be able to achieve the same success as Sir Alex Ferguson.
It's not wrong, it's a natural thing. However, with that kind of pressure on the coach becomes a challenge for them.
It's difficult to achieve the Sir Alex Ferguson era and maybe there is little chance for other coaches to be able to achieve what he gave to Manchester United. Fans and management must expect a new era for the club's success but so far no coach has been able to provide that. Amorim is expected to be able to bring about much more significant changes and maybe be able to provide better results with his hard work. I'm not that optimistic but he needs to be given a chance because changing a team to be better is not an easy job.
I think it is relatively impossible for any coach to achieve what sir Alex Ferguson achieved with Manchester United considering how so much has changed in football, the era of sir Alex is quite different from what you have now, in terms of the rules of the game, the finances, the players and so many other factors that could influence a team's performance.

If you had followed the era of Alex Ferguson, then you would notice that players do not play for the money but for the love of the game and club, the players then were very zealous and cared little about money but fame, and were ready to stake their necks in making sure that they get good results for the manager.

But that can't absolutely be said about this generation of players today. Perhaps, football was more easier then than it is now, where you now have too many new rules, and the presence of VAR. So I think sir Alex was lucky not to have encountered all of these in his time.

Tomorrow we will see again the 5th matchday of UEL. Do you have some teams that will win tomorrow's match?
I think the top teams like Lazio, Ajax, and Galatasaray will easily get the win in the match.
But there is a little doubt in the Real Sociedad vs Ajax match. Although Real Sociedad is in the bottom position of the standings, this team has the experience and unexpected performance to be able to hold a draw at home.
What do you think?

I have doubts about the "easily" part on their games honestly. Only Lyon might have such game though considering their opponent is Qarabag. I don't want to underestimate Qarabag normally but I'm afraid they aren't playing as dangerous as before in the Europa League.  Sad  Considering Lyon aren't bad at all here so far, I believe they will get a decent win away.

I agree with Ajax. Never underrate Real Sociedad. Yeah they aren't having the best season but they are always unpredictable. Look how they beat Barcelona recently.  Smiley

Lastly Galatasaray... They are really great so far. Playing AZ away is a difficult one I believe. But with Osimhen they have a serious chance for another win.

For this fixtures I can't Bank on ajax to be a have an easy game such that I will think they are going to easily win, and this is because recently their performance has been really erratic, they have not had this consistency in their performance, it's even such that they can win a game and lose the next followed by a draw, so at some point they begin to look unpredictable which is one attribute of clear inconsistency from such a team we had always known to be of good form seasons before now. Galatasaray is the only team I can believe will get some goals probably but I don't want to be too sure about their winning either.

I agree with you about Real Sociedad. Although their current performance is not good, it does not mean that Ajax will be able to easily win from them. After all, Real Sociedad is one of the teams to be reckoned with, so they have a great chance to give a big surprise in this match. They will also act as the host in this match, so this is an advantage for them to take advantage of the atmosphere that can put pressure on Ajax. They also have a target to qualify for the round of 16, so they will try their best in this match.

It's a first match of Manchester United players with their new coach, and they did not have a long time of working together like a summer pre-season training and friendly matches. The coach position in Manchester United was changed in middle of season and it brought big issues to both players and their new coach. It's not enough time to conclude that their players and a new coach find hardly to work together.

Give players and a new coach more time, like several weeks, and I think we will see better bonds among them and results for Manchester United will be improved. Sacking a current coach and hiring a new one always triggers a new transfer budget spending wave.

I'm not saying Atalanta is a weak club but I'm saying that usually the club that is favored from the start cannot perform as expected (Liverpool and Leverkusen) in many posts last season many people talked about Leverkusen and Liverpool and not many talked about Atalanta but in the end this club was able to give a surprise by beating Liverpool but even though they were able to beat Liverpool many people still favored Leverkusen to win the Europa League title because this club has created many wins compared to Atalanta in its domestic league but in reality many people made the wrong predictions.
Atalanta is not a weak club and in the last ten years, they are one of most stable clubs in Serie A. They managed to join top four of Serie A in many seasons and in season they were not eligible for Champions League, they won UEFA Europa League title in the last season. That title seems to be not a highest achievement they can have with Gasperini's era, because they are competing for Scudetto in Serie 2024 - 2025 and in Champions League, they're playing well so far. A latest big win hours ago is another strong performance of Atalanta in Champions League.

I agree with you that Europa League is unpredictable and one will hardly predict the right club to win the league. Most clubs that people thought will put their minds on, end up in a big disappointment. It's is close to the semifinals that one would be able to know the right club that's capable of winning the league.

If a team from a hidden league wins the Europa League championship this season, I would not be shocked since, unlike the Champions League, it is very difficult for anyone to predict which team will win. Even last season, nobody expected Atalanta to win the title defeating Bayer Leverkusen, who went undefeated throughout the tournament before losing to Atalanta in the final. This season, we have a lot of teams doing well in the competition, right now, I'm just interested in the teams that will move to the next round. Maybe Manchester United will make it too.
