I'm not sure if you know challenging it is for players if they are not winning matches despite putting effort in all you do. There is going to be pressure from the manager because he will think the players are at fault, the club will be on you guys head, the fans will be coming with different agitation and anger and the players reputations is also on the line because you will not be recognized for that season and that's not what any player dream of at the start of the season.
If everyone is seeing Erik as the failure but the team can't do anything about it then I think it's pointless for the fans and the players to be complain. If the team has not been bribe or something is going on their head, I'm very positive that by the end of this season, that guy will leave Manchester United, this is not even about if they will win or not but I'm sure they will definitely fire him and retract the contract so everyone can be happy.
Yes, my hope for Ten Hag is that he needs to be fired. The team will not grow better with him, even if he has given everything he can. Ten Hag found it difficult to increase the motivation and mentality of the Manchester United players to fight to win the match, that was something he didn't have. Another coach is expected to help Manchester United recover, but expecting them to return everything in a short time is also unreasonable.
Next season I believe Manchester United will no longer be coached by Ten Hag, unless Ten Hag is able to win the Premier League title this season. I'm sure he won't make it to my last point, so his dismissal is the most likely thing I'll hear.
If Manchester United is to continue growing and challenging at the very top, a reshuffle is clearly overdue, for the coach as well as for the players. Ten Hag has had more than two years, but the results remain wide off expectations. He did manage to steer MU to victory in the 2024 FA Cup, but that's hardly sufficient for a club as large as MU, and which always has high hopes for the Premier League title and success in European competition.
In fact, under the coaching of Ten Hag, the progression of the team appears to have stopped, with the motivation and mentality of the players proving hard to uplift. If the makeshift condition for Ten Hag to remain entails winning the Premier League, then it seems it is much too heavy and unrealistic of a target at present. MU requires a coach who can instigate drastic changes and truly harness the talents of the players rather than one who performs just well enough to remain in the club. Hence, there is no point in keeping Ten Hag.
