Manchester United is a more stable team than Villarreal. Villarreal have lost 3 of their last 5 matches in La Liga. They are also defeated by weak opponents. Hopefully Manchester United will have an easy win against Villarreal. My guess is that Manchester United will win the match 2-0.

total agree with you
Mancherster United is a more stable, more experienced, with better quality team..
and yes, 2 - 0 is probably result, i think isnt a funny game

After watching this Manchester United VS Liverpool game, I've not quite convinced they have it in them. I understand that they've played a lot recently, but this was a derby match, and they looked largely second best, especially when the going got tough.

I'd take a look at the lineups before placing any bets. If Man Utd start with Fred in the middle, I'll be going for a Villarreal win.

@Welsh I totally agree with you because whenever I feel that he’ll redeem himself he ends up playing worst, and I hope that they sell him in the summer transfer window. Also if they start with Matic then too one should go withn Villarreal win, because Manchester United are lacking quality defensive midfielders.

Manchester United are absolutely the favorite, and this match shouldn't have too many surprises. however it is a final, anything can happen.
I just hope it's a fun game, because in the end that's what counts

Despite this, I believe that Man United will win the final. They are one of the best teams in Europe, with a good coach and tactical structure.

I also support Man United to win. Man United's game started to improve at the end of this season, even though in the match against Liechester they lost, OLE featured his substitutes.

For the final, indeed the previous 2 matches they drew but that was a very long time. In the end if after 120 minutes they draw, at the time of the penalty their mentality is very influential. Further luck follows.

It was confirmed that Clément Turpin would referee the Europa League Final between Manchester United and Villarreal on May 26.

Turpin has been an international referee since 2010, and this is the second major UEFA final he has officiated, as he served as fourth official during the 2018 Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Liverpool. Turpin will be assisted by Nicolas Danos and Cyril Gringore. The fourth judge is Slovenian Slavko Vincic, and Francois Letexier will be in the VAR room.

The games you mentioned were many years ago. Now thing are much more different for these teams. Manchester Utd of course are the much more dominant side in this final game. Villarreal will most probably rely on their defense the most. If they succeed in wearing Man Utd players out, they might have a chance for the title. It also depends on how Man Utd will play. If they have a gameplay which shows they really want the title, then Villarreal will have a really low chance.

Villarreal will certainly play in a counterattack style. And whenever possible, try to keep Man United's game in midfield, so that the ball stays out of your goal.
But, the English team, has a squad with enough quality, to overcome these difficulties.

Weak game by Arsenal, you have to give more at home if you want to advance to the final. Interesting final with Manchester and Villareal, but I think Manchester will win the final.
You're right, I also bet Manchester will win. I thought they were going to win 2-0. The history of the two teams' matches at UCL 2005 and 2008 all ended in a draw. But I think this time it is very different. MU has superior quality of players. Moreover, this is Villareal's first final in the European league. The Europa League final between Man United and Villarreal will be held at the Gdansk Arena, Poland on 26 May.

It will really be different, it's a final. And in the end there is always a winner, even if it is on penalties.  Cheesy
Hehehe that was silly but it's the truth that there will be no draws on penalty shootouts.

Returning to the topic. Villarreal will be a team that will make life difficult for Man United.

The two teams looks identical defensively if we look at the goals conceded so far. MU at 38 while Villareal at 42 after 35 games played in their respective league. It's their attacking that will tell the difference and MU seems better in that category.

The early 2000s under Wenger were so strong with two FA Cup trophies in a row and the season that brought them the title the invincibles where they didn't lose a single game. It was fun to watch them back then but these days they aren't playing a great soccer style.

I am among those who are amazed by Wenger, because Arsenal was once a very strong team in the Premier League. And I really enjoyed watching
Arsenal play when Wenger was still Arsenal coach, but now Arsenal's game is very boring. Hopefully Arsenal can immediately replace Arteta with
a new coach who has a style of play similar to Wenger, because I want Arsenal to return to the big four again in Premier League.

I sometimes wish that Aubameyand played for another club. His attacks are so powerful and efficient, he deserves to win trophies and would be better off elsewhere. Arsenal is paying him a big salary and that's what counts for most of them.

Wenger had a very gifted lineup with him which isnt the case with Arteta. All he can honestly do is motivate the players to play better at the moment.  Going back to Arsenal under Wenger, he had a squad with probably the best quality in the premier league and in every position. Bergkamp , Reyes , Ljungberg , Pires and most of all Henry. They had impressive defense as well. They were able to play fluid attacking football as most of them could make something great out of nothing.

I agree that the difference between Wenger and Arteta is not just the strategy used. However, the players Arsenal had when Wenger became coach
and managed to make Arsenal win several trophies, that's because Arsenal's players are of high quality. Especially Bergkamp and Henry,
these two players have made Arsenal the best team in the Premier League. Unfortunately, Arsenal currently have only a few qualified players,
there is no other choice Arsenal really have to bring in a lot of quality players if they want to be successful in the next season.

I agree with your opinion ,, the arsenal game is not that great, in the semifinals like we are watching the amateur league, when Wenner went the Asrsenal game was getting messy, I think the arsenal should look for new players in the next season, who will definitely sack Arteta, and look for a coach. new. . `` If Arsenal are still in Arteta's training, I'm sure Arsenal will play badly forever, and will fast for the title forever.

If Arsenal want to go back into the big four, they have to fire Arteta, because I see that Arteta is no longer able to make Arsenal play well.
After that Arsenal did have to come some new players to be able to help Arsenal rise from adversity, especially Arsenal's defense is very bad play.
So there is no other choice but to make big changes in the Arsenal team.

Yeah, I guess Arsenal disappointed a lot of people last night. Even Villareal probably did, scoreless semifinals are not the most exciting thing in football.
That includes me. I hope the arsenal can win at home. They seemed unlucky, two kicks always hit the goalpost. It was painful to prove by Unai Emery that he was a former arsenal coach. Arsenal took it wrong. Unfortunately with this failure they will not compete in Europe next season.
Ever since Arsene Wenger had left Arsenal, I don't see any improvement in the team, imagine such a massive decline to the extent of not playing in any European tournament next season, Arteta needs to be sack, alot of us were disappointed yesterday with Villarreal results, Arsenal has lost a lot of home games this season, Wenger squad was not this strong and they still qualify for champions league spot, Arsenal needs an experience coach, Allegri won't be a bad option to redeem the image of the club
Arsenal is always like that. Their playstyle does not change at all whether it is managed by Arsene Wenger or Arteta. Other teams are getting stronger and Premier league is becoming tougher and more competitive than ever. Do not blame Arteta so much. He needs time to improve and find an adaptive formula for a whole squad. Remember that Wenger has more than 20 years with Arsenal

I saw Arsenal playing style was very different when Wenger was Arsenal coach compared to now when Arteta was coach. Arteta plays too carefully
and passes more to the defense, then the player's distance is too far, so it's very easy to be hit by counter-attacks. It is only natural that Arsenal
fans end up blaming Arteta, because in my opinion Arteta always uses the same strategy, although this proved unsuccessful. Actually Arteta could
have been given the opportunity to coach Arsenal for one more season, but provided that Arteta is given a lot of money to buy some of the star
players. But this is impossible for Stan Kroenke, who has never made an injection of personal funds to help Arsenal financially. Even Kroenke was
rated as cruel for allowing 55 Arsenal staff to be fired due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. So the best solution in my opinion is still to
fire Arteta and look for other coaches who can take advantage of existing Arsenal players.

I remember those Wenger teams well. In addition to the quality he had as a coach, the players he managed to gather were very quality and were able to make great games.

Of course, these are generations of players that it is always difficult to repeat two or three times in a row. Now it takes time and the notion that the world of football is very different.

The Arsenal second leg game result proves me wrong when Saint-loup said the Villarreal than Arsenal this season but honestly the Gunners really mess up big time because they played to defense the game when Villarreal was at home and nothing should stop in the second leg to use home advantage against Villareal.
Honestly I did not expected Villareal to beat Arsenal and go to finals, Arsenal looked like a sure thing to me because they looked like the better team on paper, but apparently they are not and that is why it is certainly something interesting to watch.

I am not saying that Villareal has no chance now, but United is a much much better team, sure Arsenal looked better on paper as well and Villareal still managed to beat them, hence I could understand all the people that say "let's wait and see" but this is an easy bet for me, if I end up losing this one, I wouldn't feel bad about it because 90%+ of people will bet on United for this game for sure without a doubt. However I would love to leverage my bet and I would probably say it will be under 2.5 goals for that game, that way I do not have to know who will win and finals are "usually" not that high scoring.
Arsenal are its limits and cannot go beyond them .
The team needs names that know how to enter a match and they only need one goal.
I missed watching the game and I only check the game result which was so disappointing but I don't understand what you mean by Arsenal reaching a certain limit and cannot go beyond because history shows that Villarreal never defeat Arsenal before the way they did this season?

Leave the result and exclusion, I care about desire and persistence .. What did the gunners do in order to qualify ?! .
This is the problem of teams that do not have a titular character, no matter how tactical you master it, you will be deceived by willpower and say it.
my question now is why Arsenal have left the European Super League as they are not going to be playing any European football next season and propably the seasons that will come after because with those players that they are relaying on it will only make them sleepwalking towards disaster.
You're right about the team being sleepwalking but I believe their loss to Villarreal will serve as a warning and a lot of their fans will show how they are unsatisfied with their performance.
Failed on UEFA Europa League Arsenal become the first time without participant on UEFA Europa League or champion league for the first time, I think management have looking for new coach and retired for Arteta have failed not only in primer league but also not give anything good for UEFA Europa League, I think the same what happen with Uney Emery after failed with Arsenal and have left his position as Arsenal coach.
Everything happens for a reason and it will nice if the Arsenal team understand that, working with the manager closely maybe there's that need some change instead of sacking or remove the club management which I believe is never the solution in some cases cause the strategy planner also has a take in the club losses.
