I believe Manchester United can beat Vilareal in the final. ..

I hope like you. Mental MU will remain in the best position. Even if you lose I hope it is only part of your preparation to win against Villareal. But MU should not underestimate Villareal, they have players who are ready to give up. If Mu fails in the Europa League, maybe Mu's management can consider replacing him.

I gave the example of the Champions League match PSG vs Bayern... At that time, too, everyone was sure that Bayern would win, but PSG won... Exactly the same can happen in the game Man U vs Villareal... For some reason many people believe that Man U will easily beat Villareal...
Villarreal should not be underestimated, they are a team that plays well in defense. And since the final is just one match, then anything can happen in it, say 0:0 and a penalty shootout in which anyone can win. But if we evaluate the teams by their level, then I agree that Manchester United is a stronger club and they have more chances of winning.
Villarreal is a good team. But the Manchester United team is much more stable than Villarreal. The Villarreal team will play fully defensively against Manchester. If they fail to make a counterattack, they will not be able to win the match by playing only defensive. Manchester United players have the ability to break Villarreal's defense.

But Villareal are no managing any players yet as last game in LaLiga they played full squad with important players so I have my doubts regarding Villareal taking the win but with Emery being their coach we can all expect them to pull something magical out of nowhere. On the other side , United is hungry for trophies and I'm 100% sure they will come to play their best football and probably win the trophy from a 2nd time in 3 years.

I cannot imagine any player would want to rest before the game. You want to be fit for sure and full of energy but you really want to be match fit so you are not creaky and rusty when you meet United. Huge win for Villa is also a big motivator,,, while United will be suffering a little confidence blow after losing so badly to their old rivals:)

And concerning PSG beating BAYERN, i don't really understand. Are you saying PSG does not have what it takes to beat BAYERN or they ain't in the right position to do so?

After watching this Manchester United VS Liverpool game, I've not quite convinced they have it in them.
~snip~
Yes, it was a little disappointing to the fans. But I think it will be different when they compete in the European league. They lost streak in 2 matches. Looks like OLE is really not serious about EPL? They only secure Champions League tickets for next season. The rest, they seem to focus on the Europa League because this is the only trophy that can be obtained this season. After this season maybe if they fail in Europe it needs evaluation for OLE.
But in my opinion it is not affected, bro, because the EPL League is not the same as the Champions League, even though Manchester United were defeated by Liverpool in the EPL, but I believe Manchester United's mentality has not dropped, and I believe Manchester United can beat Vilareal in the final. ..

The strongest clubs usually make it to the finals! Wink Personally, for some reason I don't doubt Man U's victory either, but still don't underestimate Villareal! I'm sure it will be a very interesting match, and perhaps unpredictable... For example PSG also beat Bayern... Cheesy
The team made it to final Manchester United won't underestimate villareal. This is the manager's first final as Manchester United coach and I'm sure he won't handle it recklessly. A final is a final and those games have their own laws. We have seen that so often in the past. A few times there were clearly one sided games but usually it is a fight until the last minute. This time I don't know, I would say Manchester is ahead, or I would have said that weeks ago but right now Manchester has a bad streak also because of their tough schedule and rotation of players.

I tip on a 60:40 chance for Manchester United and I am convinced there won't be a goal festival for either team.

...I don't think the back to back losses is going to be a contributing factor. Since during that time as mentioned above they played a lot of games.
The mental effect of those two losses is a different animal even though we call them top professionals.

...
So those losses don't really matter that much except they still end up losing to Villarreal in the UEL final.
Am I reading this right? You will only think back of those two losses when they also lose in the Finals? You are still underestimating them losses then.

I also agree with the opinion of friends, it is difficult for villareals to come out as champions, even though last night Manchester United were beaten last night by their fierce rivals Liverpool in the Premier League, it will not make United mentally down, but me too. believe Manchester United can. beat Villareal. in the final later ...
and can bring home the champions league trophy ''
we will see friends, is our prediction correct ,,,,

It seems to me that some people are underestimating the effects of the back to back losses of Man United to their momentum leading to the league's Final. It affects both the players and the manager. It's going to be a highly tactical game and I'm particularly interested on what changes Ole will make against Villareal.
The way I see it, Ole is just saving everything for the big game later this month. There's no point putting everything in pursuit of a Premier league title that Manchester City has already won. At least a lot of United fans would agree with me on that. So those losses don't really matter that much except they still end up losing to Villarreal in the UEL final. That would be way worst. Manchester United players understand what's at stake for that final enough not to let premier loss to a rival club like Liverpool hurt their mentality and ego. Not worth it. I believe Ole would throw everything at Villarreal in a bis to win his first major title as a Man Utd manager. You'd be surprised. My expectations are high.
You will probably be surprised, but Villarreal will also throw all their strength to win the Europa League, especially if Manchester United already have such a cup, then Villarreal also wants to lift the coveted cup over their heads as a winner. The opposite is true for the coaches, because while this may be Solskjaer's first major title, Emery has already won the Europa League three times with Sevilla. Therefore, for the diversity and spirit of the game, it would be more useful that if the Champions League Cup goes to England, then the UEFA Cup would go to Spain Wink

Manchester United is a more stable team than Villarreal. Villarreal have lost 3 of their last 5 matches in La Liga. They are also defeated by weak opponents. Hopefully Manchester United will have an easy win against Villarreal. My guess is that Manchester United will win the match 2-0.

total agree with you
Mancherster United is a more stable, more experienced, with better quality team..
and yes, 2 - 0 is probably result, i think isnt a funny game

bookmaker said similar, win of Manchester United
No bookmakers don't say Manchester United will win, they say Manchester United has 1/1.8=56% chances to win during the regular time. So they don't expect a victory so easy obviously. You are predicting a clean sheet for Manchester United but they disagree with you, odds are 2.24 for a clean sheet and 1.6 against on Stake.

I don't think the back to back losses is going to be a contributing factor. Since during that time as mentioned above they played a lot of games. The only change I expect them to make is not to play Fred. Once he was taken off against Liverpool they looked instantly better. Okay, some of that is due to Liverpool dropping back a little more, but they definitely looked more fluid in the middle of the field. Unfortunately, Matic didn't play all that well in the limited amount of time he had on the field.

I think that this result shouldn't mislead people. Because Manchester Utd have no chance left for the title and they are in a good condition in the table to be able to secure their position. There is a 4-point gap with Leicester in the end. I believe that they will play much better than this against Villarreal for winning a title this season.
Yeah, they don't have a chance for the title, but the teams are paid more based on their position in the league, therefore Manchester United will definitely want to hold onto that second position. I expect them to play all their remaining games at full strength (obviously ignoring their injuries).

After watching this Manchester United VS Liverpool game, I've not quite convinced they have it in them. I understand that they've played a lot recently, but this was a derby match, and they looked largely second best, especially when the going got tough.

I'd take a look at the lineups before placing any bets. If Man Utd start with Fred in the middle, I'll be going for a Villarreal win.
Even though last night Mencherter United were humiliated by Liverpool at home, I am very confident that Manchester United will be able to beat Villareal in the final.
and able to bring home the prestigious trophy``
I believe this year the European Cup and Champions will belong to the English team ...

We will see if they can switch gears again easily as they get a bit out of shape right now because of their horrific play day schedule. It is a bit demoralizing for them right now to concede so many losses after having been so confident all the time.
