Good breakdown on what happened to Bryce Mitchell after that brutal looking knockout with convulsions afterwards and him talking about it:
Sean Strickland REVEALS the reason why he ATT4CKED Du Plessis! Trump LEAVES during Colby's speech!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytwwRNoVYRQ
He had a seizure and he could not even get up for minutes. Brutal, indeed.
Well, that's Josh Emmett, he is known to be the hardest puncher in their weight class but the surprising part is how much it affected Bryce Mitchell. I only celebrated after the hard punch but when I saw him having a seizure, I was more worried because the sound of the punch was like a stone hitting the face of Bryce. I hope he is okay.
What Daniel Cormier said after the punch was right. We see this happening with kicks but not with punches, that's how damn powerful the fists of Josh Emmett are.

Shavkat Rakhmonov of course finished Steve Thompson as it was fore told in the cards getting his 18 straight win. Belal will be his next opponent? I think they should give him a better challenge than poor Belal. Come on now!
Yeah! Give him a better one. Shavkat had been finishing his opponents too early which for me means there's a mismatch. Give him something more powerful that he will try to feel the pressure of the fight. But who is there? Cheesy Usman maybe? The Welterweight Gatekeeper. Well, he has a good wrestling offense and defense which might match Shavkat but I don't know about the standing fight. Shavkat is also powerful in his kickboxing skills and I bet he will use that as a strategy against Usman considering he was defeated by a deadly kick by Edwards.

Just like what I predicted, it's either a Knockout or a Submission with Shavkat Rakhmonov. That dude is indeed paving his way to be the next champion of their weight class. Very soon Leon Edwards will meet this guy and I am now having doubts that he can retain his belt when they clash. There's no question now on why he is the most hype fighter in their division, his strength is just too much, he can even climb another weight and might still dominate it there. I mean, he is big and it's possible and he might do it someday.

That was a good strategy, he drained the gas tank of Wonderboy in the first round and I was surprised Thompson could not get out of the clinch of Nomad.
The second round was fun. Rakhmanov's corner told him not to clinch but to fight him through boxing. He didn't listen, he clinched again and found his position to ground and pound Thompson. He is like a snake coiling around the body of Thompson. He preserved that position until he got his chance for a submission.
Unlucky Thompson, 4 seconds are remaining on the clock and he could've survived that round and gotten a chance on the 3rd round.
Shavkat took the safest path through wrestling and he is the first one to submit Thompson. Nice!

I agree that Shavkat Rakhmonov is a huge guy who surely can also move in a higher weight class with no problem just like Alex Pereira, I think that he can also become a champion in the future and has a chance of having 2 belts in the same time I thought that Khamzat Chimaev can do it, but his situation right now I don't know if he can have a decent performance after his fight against Kamaru Usman which am I also having doubts aswell, for sure Shavkat Rakhmonov will just plow to this division and can move up if given some special attention of the UFC,

But clearly, Shavkat Rakhmonov just wants it slowly but surely and wants to take his time in getting into a title fight, and for sure just like Chimaev Rakhmonov is really something that can have a different strategy than his corner strategy,

UFC 296 was a good way to end the year of 2023 with a bang!
Even fireworks in the crowd with DDP getting jumped by Strickland and the aftermath of that brawl. I think I even seen Dana trying to hold back Dricus during the whole incident. Doesn't it make it look more like WWE now? Jeezus christ!

I really like the bang type of this with the UFC 296, but having a fight during a fight event with Sean Strickland and Dricus du Plessis is something for sure that will get a lot of hype, and as Dana White has said he is an a**hole in giving Sean Strickland a seat near Dricus du Plessis and I am thinking it could a for the hype and Sean Strickland landing those punches that could not hurt even a mice should award best acting, well, this is just my opinion with what happen,

Here is a video of Sean Strickland of course talking even more out of his ass than usual:
Sean Strickland THRASHES Colby Covington for his pathetic Performance, DDP rips Strickland UFC 296

A classic Sean Strickland trash-talked but when Dricus du Plessis is talking about Sean Strickland's past it surely hit a nerve on him to be so worked up like that telling Sean Strickland a bad memory of his,

My pick and prediction for the UFC 296: Edwards vs. Covington

Leon Edwards (1.61) VS Colby Covington (2.33) - WIN

There are a lot of factors why Colby Covington lost this fight but Leon Edwards was very technical moving forward in getting Covington, you can clearly see Edwards faints, and for sure his composure is there while getting Covington, those takedown attempts of Covington was no used to Leon Edwards takedown defense for sure there is no way for Covington to takedown and scramble against Leon Edwards and this is a win for Leon Edwards,

Alexandre Pantoja (1.49) VS Brandon Royval (2.65) - WIN

Even though this fight ended with a decision win over Brandon Royval, and it was a masterful class performance for Alexandre Pantoja, for sure even in a rematch with Brandon Moreno I think Moreno will have a hard time against him, Brandon Royval could have the striking output but Alexandre Pantoja has dominated the wrestling, as Pantoja throws 14 takedowns and 8 or it was successful and he also got 1 submission attempt that scores him big in this fight, while Royval throw 1 takedown and it was failed,

Stephen Thompson (5.40)VS Shavkat Rakhmonov (1.15) - WIN

Shavkat Rakhmonov really outclassed Stephen Thompson you can clearly see from this fight that it was really a one-sided fight as in terms of striking Rakhmonov has the output and the speed was really great that Thompson all they did was to defend, Shavkat Rakhmonov throws 5 takedowns and 2 submission attempts and it ended in a rear naked choke win for Shavkat Rakhmonov,

Great UFC event and here are my bet and prediction results for the UFC 296

Leon Edwards VS Colby Covington ROUND 5 - DECISION - WIN

Actually, Donald Trump was not looking proud of what was happening with Colby Covington and Covington did promise the belt would be back in America, but he got a shameful performance in front of the crowd and that is not a good showcase for sure, as Leon Edwards has done it again, those faint's was really something and he always gets Covington with those shots, even though Colby Covington has the much strike output  and even if Covington has the most takedown attempts of 10 and got 2 success over it he doesn't have any submission attempts to get himself a greater score, while Leon Edwards just got 3 takedowns but have 2 success in those takedowns and got 2 submission attempts that is why he got the score card for him,

Shavkat Rakhmonov VS Stephen Thompson ROUND 2 - SUBMISSION - WIN

Great job for Shavkat Rakhmonov and just expected that Stephen Thompson could not handle the pressure with Rakhmonov and that he could not do anything against him clearly from striking and wrestling Rakhmonov is dominant over Wonderboy, there is clearly a huge gap between their speed and strength, and those takedowns and that successful submission for sure it was a great performance for Shavkat and Stephen Thompson is not near him for sure,

Tony Ferguson VS Paddy Pimblett ROUND 3 - DECISION - LOST

Actually, I think this fight is a close one, I think Tony Ferguson did a great job aswell in his old age he can still do something like this and I think this but for sure the UFC will let Paddy Pimblett win, and I think they are not wrong with their decision as Paddy Pimblett got the most striking those takedowns was only 4 and 1 was a success for Paddy Pimblett, but even though I don't like that Paddy win this fight  the decision was correct that Paddy Pimblett did win,

My Picks and Prediction for the UFC 296: Edwards vs. Covington

Leon Edwards (1.61) VS Colby Covington (2.33)

Going for this fight Leon Edwards has the technical aspect of striking while for me Colby Covington's Striking is not that great in terms of the wresting game Colby Covington is superb in this game but for me, Leon Edwards can counter with his takedown defense as for sure he has already prepared on this back when he fights Kamaru Usman, and on their 1st fight he is good at getting Usman in the scramble so for sure his wrestling has also improved so for me Leon Edwards is very well-rounded so for sure my pick is Leon Edwards,

Alexandre Pantoja (1.49) VS Brandon Royval (2.65)

This fight, is also their rematch and a title shot for Royval, for this fight, Alexandre is pretty much good with the wrestling game, and for sure his grappling is also what he has beating Brandon Moreno, so with that in mind, Pantoja has a bigger chance, while I don't know if Brandon Royval has improved much during back then when they fight but for sure Alexandre Pantoja is a stud in this fight so my pick is Alexandre Pantoja

Stephen Thompson (5.40)VS Shavkat Rakhmonov (1.15)

For this one, Stephen Thompson has great striking, and for sure he has prepared his standing defense for this fight, as he also got a decent one, apparently Shavkat Rakhmonov is pretty much well-rounded in my opinion, he surely got the option of choosing how he could defeat Thompson whether it is on strike because he got power or submitting Stephen Thompson on this fight so my pick is Shavkat Rakhmonov,

Yeah too right @YuginKadoya !

They had a UFC 2024 Season Press Conference right before the ceremonial one for this UFC 296 event earlier in the evening last night.
It showed several fighters on the panel facing off against their opponents towards upcoming main event fight cards for the 2024 season:
UFC 2024 Season Press Conference
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVtJoje20vM

The oddest press conference ever shown was this one with Dricus and Strickland.
Just to get a handle of what went on during their heated discussion TheWeasle has a great breakdown:
Dricus was BRUTAL...Sean Strickland gets HEATED (UFC Press Conference Reaction)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gf_I08HV0pU

The final weigh-ins of the year was last night too and I think everybody made weight for once! Cheesy

Here are the one you have all been waiting for:

I have seen this Press Conference for the future fight on the UFC sure that will be a banger of an event, this is really a great event to witness, but this is a great fight for sure now here is my bet and prediction for the UFC 296: Edwards vs. Covington,

Leon Edwards VS Colby Covington

The stake odds for this fight are 1.65 for Edwards and 2.42 for Covington, in my opinion, Leon Edwards has good striking and his striking is very technical that I think he will surprise Colby Covington for sure, but Colby Covington will be aggressive on the ground and when he does Leon Edwards will be OK with his takedown defense and that is what he came prepare against Kamaru Usman his takedown defense will be solid n those situations, so my pick is Leon Edwards,

Shavkat Rakhmonov VS Stephen Thompson

The stake odds for this fight are 1.17 for Rakhmonov and 6.00 for Thompson, for this fight, there is no doubt that Shavkat Rakhmonov will be the favorite to win as Rakhmonov is pretty much dominant with the striking he has the power and the accuracy in this fight and so he will be very good on the stand-up, and mostly his ground game will be so much good aswell, while Stephen Thompson will be pretty much not having a chance here, let say he just accepted this fight because of the money so my pick is nonother but Shavkat Rakhmonov,

Tony Ferguson VS Paddy Pimblett

The stake odds for this fight are 3.60 for Ferguson and 1.35 for Pimblett, now this is a risk and a gambling bet for me, as Tony Ferguson is now in his old form even though he has good striking and has some advantage on the ground as many have thought he will be good against Khabib Nurmagomedov, as many people belive I also think that he can also be great against Paddy Pimblett, now in this case I am really biased here because I don't like Paddy Pimblett at all he also go beyond down the lever of not treating anybody good, so my pick is Tony Ferguson,

I can not see any intense something about Tony Ferguson at all but if you are talking about the tattoos on his back maybe that was the 1 that might have looked intense in my opinion anyway I really wish Tony Ferguson would win this and that David Goggins could help him both Physically and Mentally and because Paddy Pimblett is already exposed I sure think that he has a chance but he can not underestimate the baddy for sure,

Maybe I am seeing an intense aura something on Tony Ferguson but anyway, this kind of Tony Ferguson even though in his old age there is still some intimidation towards him and for me, Ferguson is just like that but I agree that Ferguson can not underestimate Pimblett even though he was exposed back on his fight with Jared Gordon maybe Tony Ferguson may have a chance but still I am not taking a chance for betting on this fight,

Actually, Colby Covington's comments on Leon Edward's father were really another level down, and looking at him he is remorseless in what he has said about it I really think he has already gone down that path where he doesn't care at all just to make a trash talk, but here is some MMA fighters tweets and what they think about Colby Covington,

the UFC 297 Sean Strickland VS Dricus du Plessis, UFC 298 Alexander Volkanovski VS Ilia Topuria, and UFC 299 Sean O'Malley VS Marlon Vera, for the future fights for the UFC, was a great juicy fight that the UFC has brought us up to March 09, 2024 and after seeing this I get excitements getting into my spine so for sure many fans could feel the same way just like I did,

Tony Ferguson is talking crazy and sure when he sits down he looks extremely energetic but there is something in him that makes the place intense for sure, and looking at him quite really intense just by looking at him, and for sure he said that he doesn't care about anybody, and he isn't spitting anything about his training and what he does in the past thing he does with his training, but for sure because of David Goggins he was more positive for sure and in this interview, he has shown it, and enjoying this just like he has said,

Leon Edwards versus Colby Covington: Trash talks in the press conference and trash talks in the face-off. It's hot. They are ready to bash each other's head. Cheesy Colby was always the one sparking up the trash talks, it seems like he ain't running out of words to say against Leon.

Undercards are mostly peaceful, they shook hands and some even hugged. But we will see once their feet are on the octagon.
Brandon Royval looks confident too but there are no changes in the odds. He is still the underdog at 2.60.

The most anticipated fighter this event I want to see is this absolute monster:
Shavkat Rakhmonov Every UFC Finish

Oh yeah. That guy is the most hyped on that card. He is just too strong and multi-talented. Strong puncher, his kick style is great with precision, he can submit in different positions, tough chin, and his takedown defense is high, we might see a Knockout here or a submission. A bright future is ahead of him and maybe after this fight, Dana white could put him in the main even against a higher-ranking fighter. I mean, fans love Rakhmonov so I bet he will make money for him.

I feel sorry for Leon Edwards while talking he just stopped talking when Colby Covington punched him the reality is that he can not win over trash talk with Covington, but for sure Colby Covington is trash-talking different fighters, Ian Machado Garry, Kamaru Usman, and even Steven Thompson and I surely love how The Wonderboy takes the Pedo Trash Talking of Colby, but for sure Tony Ferguson was the most hype in this press conference he is a Legend in this and the man I really love him to win this, and for sure if he clobber Paddy Pimblett in this fight all of the people in the arena will surely shout and chant his name that is what I am seeing happening in that event,

This card is pure fire so far even if the pre-fight presser was just Colby trying to get into the heads of everybody on the panel.
The guy even attacked Wonderboy who already knew what he was trying to do but just shrugged it off and let him do his thing. Quality man to not fire back because as everybody up there knew going in, Colby Covington is a bully.
So all Leon has to do is exactly what his coach said during the Usman fight:
"Don't let him bully you son!" Grin

We'll see how the weigh-ins goes for all fighters and hopefully no more drama so we can get to the fights without any loss casualties again as what happened to Ian Garry with the no-show.

It was funny how Colby Covington and Tony Ferguson exchanged in that press Conference and how they agreed in the end, well, surely this is going to be a big fight for sure and there is some point in the Conference that Colby Covington and Leon Edwards nearly get a fight in the press conference that is for sure, I am now looking at each fighters previous fights and looking if Tony Ferguson got some chance against Pimblett because I really want him to win this,

Indeed people are very hyped for edwards vs covington and i saw some comments about possibly fight to not go the distance @ 2.33 being a good play.

Regarding Rakhmonov

He has 4 submission finishes so far out of his 5 UFC fights.
Him to win again by submission is 2.05 odds which i dont think is worth the short odds, him winning by KO/TKO @ 3.85 might be a better play odds wise.

Other then this , Paddy vs tony will probably be the most entertaining fight as expected. 1.63 odds for not going to distance is a pretty nice play as well IMO

For sure that was a real consistency for Shavkat Rakmanov he was really a perfectionist in his art and that KO win could also be a Submission win but for sure there is a pattern in what he does so if the pattern was right KO/TKO would be the right choice but if he doesn't care about the pattern for sure it could also go with the Submission, for sure that was a great observation and a real treat in getting into betting with this,

There was an announcement yesterday that Garry would not be fighting in his match and Belal might be fighting Luque instead. Since he was the backup fighter in the first place. There was some talk I listened to while watching some update videos and according to the sources there might be some reshuffling of the contenders during the course before the fights happen.
So who knows what at this point.

I also have seen the news that  Ian Machado Garry is pulling out because of Illness, but I haven't seen that Belal Muhhamad will be the backup fighter for this fight, but for sure if that was real then Vicente Luque deserves a fight and pretty much needed a fight because he has prepared a lot for this fight against Machado Garry and he is just not making the fight and missing the fight for sure, so for sure give him Belal Muhammad on this one,

Chaos versus Rocky.
This will absolutely be a fun night in UFC 296.
Here is the countdown.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqqdG2xqdqk

My instincts tell me I have to bet for Leon Edwards but Covington as a former Interim Welterweight champion is so hungry that he will do everything to win the belt being held by Edwards. It is hot. Trash-talking is up and threats are high.  Cheesy
Here are the odds for the upcoming fights.
Edwards, Leon @1.65
Covington, Colby @2.36

It's not that bad if you win betting for Edwards so I am thinking about sticking with him and maybe getting the headshot kick.

Other fight cards are also not to be missed.
Pantoja, Alexandre @1.56
Royval, Brandon @2.60

Thompson, Stephen @5.40
Rakhmonov, Shavkat @1.18

Damn, this fight card is filled with fighters where we will probably see KO's and submission.

Actually, Leon Edwards is more convincing in winning this fight than Covington but you are right in saying that Colby Covington is more hungry than Edwards so yeah Leon Edwards can not let that and underestimate Covington, because that will not be good for him if he let that happen, and that trashy talking of his can surely get into the head of some fighters, but Colby Covington will do everything he can to win this fight as Donald Trump will surely watch this live,

Alexandre Pantoja intrigues me a lot but he has those records for nothing and at 1st you can not see how he managed to get into Brandon Moreno but for this fight maybe Brandon Royval will need to take this to another level,

While Shavkat Rakmonov was really a monster I don't know why Stephen Thompson accepts this one, but it is also intriguing to see what Stephen Thompson can do against Shavkat Rakmonov, well yes he looks like a beast but he is still human and can be defeated, for me at least that could be a great mindset for the meantime,

Seeing this video of Joe Rogan I was really sad looking at the Tony Ferguson movement really changes over the years for sure his body can not keep up now with what his brain wants him to do, and it is just so sad that Paddy the Baddy will just crush him inside the ring and if you look back on the recent fights of Khalil Rountree Jr. versus Anthony Smith you can say it was like a different thing as Smith is just 35 years old while Ferguson is at 39 now, but Anthony Smith is now a different fighter and for sure he needs to think about this he is nearing retirement,

Truth told there @danherbias07 for certain we have been waiting for chaos to erupt in the octagon and this was the matchup to make for sure!

Remember that unforgettable quote from the first Usman fight which you referred to with the headshot leg kick that knocked down the Nigerian?
"Don't let him bully you son, don't let him bully you son!"
That was from Leon's coach when he was getting off the stool during one of the rounds from their encounter.

That was the saying for a long while and just rewatched that fight and now remember how great that last round KO from Edwards was.

Massive amount of prospective fighters in this UFC weekend's fight and surely the one to not miss for the last main event of the year!

Can't wait until the press conference as you know Colby will have a hot mic and everything is bound to happen!
