It was a terrible loss for Benoit. A bettor who won parlay in this card must be the luckiest. The first round alone seems to have already made it clear that Benoit is losing. The home-court advantage doesn't apply in MMA, lol. The guy is from France, and he just disappointed the fans, who were expecting him to be the most aggressive in the fight. Or it could just be that Moicano is really in great shape despite his age.

The most amazing interview of all is what Moicano said to French President Macron  Grin I lost my bets but the interview made my day still.
I think Moicano was deep in concentration. He started way too strong that BSD might be surprised for a bit so the takedown happened and that's it.

This impressed me more.

https://x.com/KevinI/status/1840211733165592783
But his shoulder already looked like that before the fight so there's a chance it was injured more while they are fighting.

Man, BSD cannot do anything on that ground and pound, face all bloodied and when the first round is over you will definitely see it's going to be over in the next round with that big cut in his eye.
Nobody wants to end the fight like that but still Moicano was going to win it anyway even if it ended in the final round. BSD cannot see on his right side anymore and that's going to be a problem.
It was a fight night but damn, it looks like a UFC 30"?" because of the fans.

@rdbase Congratulations. That's brave taking the underdog.

Many have thought that the power of Benoit Saint-Denis is enough to defeat Renato Moicano and I aswell have bet for Saint-Denis in this fight but the underdog prevailed in this fight because Renato Moicano really outsmarted Saint-Denis he is relaxed and was really dominating a bull like Benoit inside the Octagon for me he is really well rounded I really admit that I was wrong with the age of both fighter and though that the power of Benoit Saint-Denis will prevail in the fight but the majority was wrong as Renato Moicano is a more calculating fighting in that match and I like it.

Guess I was one of those lucky bettors on this UFC Paris Grin

Moicano made more fans there with his speech than when he first arrived in France:
Renato Moicano Warns Paddy Pimblett, Conor McGregor Against Taking Fights With Him | UFC Paris
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJhsR1xOuBs

He even mentions on why he promotes bitcoin on his podcast all the time. Because he views it as way to escape from these tyrannical government where they are just enslaving their citizens.
I can name a few people who are the exact same as him but I won't get into that here as this is a UFC thread and not a political discussion.

I think I have become a fan aswell, for sure Renato Moicano has leveraged himself after his fight against Benoit Saint-Denis a well-rounded fighter but Moicano has shown his wittiness inside the octagon and I think this is another stepping stone for Moicano for me I think Paddy Pimblett will just be a walk in the park for him as the last fight of Pimblet did not go that well and for me Pimblett was exposed in that fight and checking the fight of Moicano we have seen a much calculating Renato Moicano against Benoit Saint-Denis.

I couldn't come up with that Ailin Perez on my list. 17.75 is worth it. Congrats. A few bettors also said Moicano would beat BSD. Too late to change my stance but yep the guy is very political.

Paddy Pimblett against him seems a good match compared to Connor. Paddy's fighting style has matured already. Maybe not as experienced as Moicano but must be worth watching.

Another bet for the account! Moicano did very well in the fight, leaving the Frenchman's face unrecognizable and Moicano always surprises in his final discussion. I think it's incredible that he simply isn't afraid of the fighter or the audience and says whatever comes to mind. But I'm happy with my analysis.

This coming fight night is going to be interesting for sure as I really like this fight card and right now it is starting I have bets for all fights but I only got a shot for the main card

Renato Moicano VS Benoit Saint-Denis

For this fight, both are well-rounded fighters I really like Renato Moicano but in terms of who's going to win in this fight I am leaning towards the younger fighter and that is Benoit Saint-Denis for stamina and power this fighter surely is going to last when you go with their winning with the submission for sure Moicano has only the single digit as for Saint-Denis he is both good with Submission and his stand fights are not bad either as he surely got the most power when it comes to Renato Moicano so my bet is Benoit Saint-Denis.

Nassourdine Imavov VS Brendan Allen

For sure the ground game of Brendan Allen will be tested against this fight as Nassourdine Imavov is one that has great wrestling and his stand-up is not slack either, both have the same reach and Nassourdine Imavov also has the height advantage for sure Allen will test his ground game in this fight so maybe he will finish the fight face to face and Imavov will surely not going to make that happen as Nassourdine Imavov is great with his counter-attack for me Nassourdine Imavov will win this fight.

^ They say Moicano's losses are due to the pressure fighters he encountered who also have KO power and a tank that can last 5 rounds of constant barrage. This is somewhat of a vulnerability of Moicano and BSD has this ability to last and can pressure Moicano for as long as he still standing. While Moicano is also great at grappling, the difference is how long can he last against Saint-Denis in rounds of submission attempts.

Very early UFC event happening in Paris so technically can not call it a fight night. Cheesy
Put in my bets early enough before the first fight starts:

Moicano odds had dropped a tad but does not deter me to place a bet on him as the big underdog from the very start.
https://sportsbet.io/sports/mma/matches/today

I liked Nassourdine Imavov, Bryan Battle, Allin Perez and Fares Ziam so added them for this UFC Paris as an acca.

The advertisements before the UFC Fight Night are mostly the slapping contest, if you don't like it, just press the skip button. I actually am entertained so I let the ads be finished.

Thank you for the link @rdbase.
Whenever I watch what UFC has done before and after the ceremonial weigh-ins, it gives me goosebumps. This is where we might see our idols on the road and I know some of you did see them but just could not get the words out of your mouth.

I've read a lot of comments and I know BSD is the heavy favorite for most of the gamlers but I would not underestimate Moicano if he want to win this match. Give him a good beating that could tell how dominant he is to scare the next opponent.

Gane last I heard was filming a movie and wanting to take his career in the direction of acting sort of like the rock had done.
Might have been a documentary but I wouldn't be surprised if it was of a bigscreen film since the people in France see him as superstar regardless of his loss to Jon Jones.
I believe that was when he last fought and it was in Paris aswell.
Would also expect Manon to be on this card but it is a Fight Night so this doesn't appeal to those bigger names who have already starred in UFC Main Events and won't go back down to just fighting on these type of cards.

MMA is coming to Europe this weekend.
PFL is in Scotland and UFC is visiting France for Fight Night Moicano vs Saint-Denis.
This is interest main event to watch but I notice few more fights I would like to see, one of them is Ion Cutelaba vs Ivan Erslan.
In manin event Benoit Saint-Denis has support of home crowd and small reach advantage, but it wont be that easy to win against Moicano like odds suggest.

https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/mma/ufc/ufc/renato-moicano-vs-benoit-saint-denis-66bc9d4bcf1cd0000177ae27

Whoa! So the odds are out in Sportsbet. I didn't see that the last time I checked the UFC fights. Thank you for sharing it.

x1.33 for BSD? Ergh. Too low for a profit. Moicano is being underestimated too much. But I will be waiting to see how much the submission prize will be for Saint-Denis of course. He has 9 submissions in his 13 wins of MMA and he might do it again. Like @cabron said, he has the KO power and what he did with Poirier was try to box him first with a combination of Muay Thai then go for a submission. Sadly, he didn't finish it in the first round even though he worked aggressively and got Poirier locked.

Still, if it will pay well then I might just put my money there and maybe get more than just x1.33 if ever my prediction will be spot on. Gas tank had been an issue with BSD, the strategy could be to end it quickly with a submission or be as aggressive as how he did it with Poirier to keep the opponent busy.

Poirier is one of the most skilled fighters though. BSD wasn't very successful against Poirier in that fight and then gassed out. If the same fight plan takes place on the fight night, Moicano is in a vulnerable state he has to be in good shape to last.  If BSD isn't going to make it after 2 rounds, it's his time to submit BSD.

Why is Cyrul Gane not among this card by the way? If there is any other else who can pull more users he should have been in here since this is Paris.

I don't see a clear enough difference to justify this odd for Moicano. In his last fights he has been submitted and knocked out a few times and he is also very passive in striking. But even so, I don't think it is that big of a difference. I believe Moicano will win from the 2nd round onwards by submission.

~when in reality he got there on top because he is Dana's pet.
This statement is so very true.
Dana is happy when one of his prospects from the contender's series rises in the ranks to stardom as O'Malley had done.
This makes him so proud since it was a product of his from the very start and not from some other organization.
Same with Joe Pyfer.

Hadn't checked the odds yet but it looks like Moicano is the heavy underdog in this bout.
Having underestimated Renato last time I placed a bet on him, I doubt I'll be making the same mistake twice and will be putting money on Moicano for the victory even though he is fighting on enemy ground.

Yes I agree that something is wrong with Suga Show after this loss.
He is saying he won this fight in one interview I was watching earlier this week which is insane.
Suga Sean O'Malley REACTS to Fight vs Merab "I WON THAT!" (UFC NOCHE 306)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLBgzteIFj8

Think he needs a break from the sport because he does sound unhinged.
Sean O'Malley Has a MENTAL BREAKDOWN
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUgvdNfsyhc

Anyways, we have a great card coming up next and whats weird that it is a UFC Fight Night away from the Apex and its in Paris!
https://www.ufc.com/news/moicano-sain-denis-fight-by-fight-preview-ufc-paris

This happens for people who hate losing but they still need self-control. Yes, he will definitely need some time away from the octagon to straighten things up. He should've just made that statement to himself and his team and not on either social media or the news. He obviously lost that fight.

If there's one that I would give a win or maybe a draw for performance, it's Grasso. She obviously lost due to points by takedowns but she controlled the fight while her back was on the mat. But since the point system is a big factor, there's no way she could win that fight. That's why I wouldn't say I like technical fighters because there are instances where judges could ruin the results and watching it is so boring, especially in boxing.

There's no point in him hating to lose and doing everything he can to lose. He didn't fight there, Merab did. While Omalley was comfortable with his defeat, Merab didn't stop fighting for a minute, as if his life depended on it.

That's the big difference between the two. One really wanted to win that belt.

Something is switched on in him. He said in the first days of the loss that he wouldn't be making excuses for this loss yet in the next days he claimed he was robbed because he scored more through his strikes while Merab only grabbed him and the knees didn't hurt him.

With all his claims right now, it only appears he is butt hurt realizing he isn't that special when in reality he got there on top because he is Dana's pet.

Here's how he sees the fight unfolds https://x.com/ChampRDS/status/1838274137246064965
