There is always a chance for the fight to end in KO by Sugar, it could just be 10% but yup it's possible to hit Sterling but I have not really seen him get a clean shot either by knee or head kick. Sean has the technique of throwing a leg kick but will twist turning it into a head kick. Sean will be wrestled for the rest of the time by Aljamain. Suga getting mounted or turning his back, it will be the end of him.

In the Petr Yan fight, there are huge takedowns for Petr Yan but the wrong thing that Yan did was he did not engage in the submission you can surely see that O'Malley also give up his back on Yan which was a clear indication that Sean O'Malley was struggling for sure but still there are no follow up for Petr Yan, and on that fight some of the Takedowns of Yan was negated by the fence, because O'Malley was holding on them, so Aljamain Sterling needs to move away from the fence when he is taking down O'Malley because he will surely used that to his advantage which is an illegal move

Sean O'Malley odds have not changed since and are still showing 2.90x for the ML when I placed my bet for this weekend.

I found it to be not as high as it was earlier in the week topping 3.10x on other sites. But with the price boost Sportsbet.io offers it comes out to be about the same.
Still went with the walk-off KO by Sugah show. Wink

There was the press conference last night that was late by around 15 minutes from the original start-time but it was well worth the wait if you want to watch it here:

Actually O'Malley's odds have risen to a whopping 3.10x when I last looked last night.
Nobody is really putting much confidence in this guy to bring an upset.
Did everybody forget how Sterling received the title in the first place?
He is called the fake champion for years since he won the belt when Petr Yan did an illegal knee to a downed opponent. So many saw it wasn't a earned title. But from his fights since then, he has proven these nay-sayers wrong with I believe 3-4 title defenses since.

There was a media day yesterday to get everybody hyped for the fights.
But this to me was alot better to watch then hear the fighters just trash talking each other and thus not proving anything until they step into the octagon for Saturday's big UFC event.

Better to wait for the press conference and weigh-ins later on today and tomorrow to get more of a feel of the fighters.

Well, Stake Odds were 1.41 for Sterling and 3.10 for O'Malley, while in Sportsbet Odds were 1.37 for Sterling and 2.90 for O'Malley it sure increase but for sure the Odd were still for Aljamain Sterling, so for sure there are still many backing Sterling to win but because O'Malley has a number of Fans backing him up, well this is the result a close odds for sure, but it is OK because that will be a tasty profit whoever win this fight,

For me that Utter defeat of Petr Yan was an elaborate plan by the funkmaster himself Aljamain Sterling is playing dirty here without anyone noticing it, he is aware of the knee rules actually he memories the MMA rules in using that to his advantage he knew how hard-headed Petr Yan is that is why he knows that he is going for the Knee, after Aljo's attempts with the takedown he then goes down his knee just setting up for Petr Yan to make his mistake, for sure he is using this now even in the Henry Cejudo fight, and after that Knee great acting is surely needed,

And that is exactly why they call him "The Suga Show" because he surely doesn't disappoint in any of his matches.
Even in the first loss on his UFC record to Marlon Vera.
Sean O'Malley's Damaged Foot EXPLAINED (Sean O'Malley vs Marlon Vera)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5tdgQAZuVY

I have always bet on him for any of his matches so this one won't be any different for this weekend.
No matter whatever the odds are.
Which when I checked them early on Sunday before all the hype with the pre-press conference and weigh-ins happening this week, Sean O'Malley was at 3.00x they are quite high but I will take them even if gets to 2.50x.

That was a win for Marlon Vera and I think I already watched this well because I am always watching on TheWeasle and for me that was a total lost for Sean O'Malley Vera kick on the peroneal nerve that causes temporary numbness on the foot and then Sean O'Malley have further his injury by stumbling on his feat, and I think I have already discuss this on the other thread, but  yeah it was a total win for Marlon Vera and Chito Vera also explained that he is surely targeting the Peroneal Nerve for O'Malley to have this kind of sensation,

Actually I don't trust Sean O'Malley winning against Sterling I surely got my doubts on high alert actually but if you really like O'Malley that is on you but for sure there is a chance for the pink poddle to win this and as I have said it could be a surprise for many if O'Malley really wins, so good luck with your pick,

3.00x is definitely good if you are rooting for O'Malley why wait for it to drop, by KO I think is possible he does have a knockout power.  Becoming a champion will surely have a new face on top to be challenged. Him vs Merab Dvalishvili will probably be the next.

People bet terribly when they hate these fighters. These 2 are not the most likable guys in UFC. While Sterling is the favorite, fans are actually weighing it like Suha should have been the favorite. Well, big loss for the guys who always bank for the favorites.

Well, like I have said I don't really like both fighters but I don't hate them aswell, and I am not basing my bets on  because I don't like the guy or I really like the guy, maybe I am doing it with some fighter but for these fight my judgement is base on what is their technique, and skill for sure this is an interesting fight to watch and so much will surely happen in this fight, for me I am more interest if O'Malley will be having a great defensive wrestling in him that will be an interesting fight for sure,

^ Weili Zhang VS Amanda Lemos both wants to fight in wrestling so this is going to be a ground game for the two. But obviously, Zhang is the stronger one. I couldn't imagine she lost twice against Namajunas.

For Sterling to fight O'Malley, he will stick to his winning strategy to takedown O'Malley and slam him. Not really a fan of both but I prefer Sterling to win over this poddle.
Nice card though. Some familiar names like Marlon Vera, Pedro Munhoz and Weidman.

I really don't see Amanda Lemos having some wrestling maybe she got those submission finish but executing her own takedown I really don't see it on her and back with Zhang Weili that Rose Namajunas fight she doesn't incorporate any wrestling yet, but if Weili fight Rose Namajunas now that will be a different Story as Weili now don't even have good striking but incorporate wrestling aswell, and this is all thanks to henry Cejudo,

Just like you I am for Sterling aswell because of his wrestling because he can incorporate a fast control over O'Malley, but if O'malley could have a great level in his wrestling defense this is going to be a different story, but for sure if it was his takedown defense it is really not enough,

Funny you say that.
Because from the last preview show I watched the predictor of the fight outcomes was just saying this has got to the most uneven match-up on a fight card he has ever seen.
He is also predicting all the heavy favorites will win. Since none of the matches are even close for even odds on any of the cards.
But we all know that there is one or two sneaky fights that always produce that one acca-killer! Grin

If you are talking about Sean O'Malley could surprise us with him winning this, it could be anything is possible as Sean O-Malley surely surprises us of some of his winnings was a surprise wins, there is a chance but for me if Sean O'Malley will not adjust against Aljamain Sterling this is likely a lost for him that is for sure,

Now pretty much I am curious if Sean O'Malley can face the wrestling of Aljamain Sterling head-on, as I really don't seem to see him with some ground game, and there surely not much Submission win for O'Malley or if he can defended all that wrestling game of Sterling,

Weili Zhang VS Amanda Lemos fight is not so bad as a Co-Main Event especially this is going to be a great fun fight to really watch and what kind of wrestling Weili will now show us,

Marlon Vera VS Pedro Munhoz is what I anticipated to watch as I really like Marlon "Chito" Vera style and his kicks was really awesome, so this is a great time to watch for sure,

For sure it is going to be a striker VS a wrestler inside the Octagon and for sure Sean O'Malley will have some takedown defense going against Sterling but for sure Sean O'Malley will surely do whatever he can in order to win and well Aljamain Sterling is the same, and also using the MMA rules in his advantage just like the Disqualification win he has against Petr Yan for me it was an elaborate plan for Yan to strike him with a knee, while he is on the ground, because he's going to win with a Disqualification this is how dirty Aljamain Sterling fight while Sean O'Malley in his last fight with Petr Yan O'Malley is consistently holding on the fence, that is why Petr Yan Takedowns was not effective at time because O'Malley is Suppressing it by holding into the fence, and he will likely do this again against Sterling,

While Zhang Weili VS Amanda Lemos fight Lemos will need to prove that she can have a decent takedown defense against Weili as Zhang Weili is under Henry Cejudo's wing so for sure this is going to be a hard fight for her,

There also has been some rule changes that came out today that recognizes what has happened during the last two UFC Main Events and have addressed these issues within those fights for all bouts going forward:
https://www.mmanews.com/news/rule-changes-help-mma-fighters-who-sustain-eye-pokes-illegal-strikes

The big one is this because of how the Sandhagen fight was very boring due to not having some kind of rule put in place to avoid this happening especially during a main event:
Separating stalling fighters
The third rule approved codifyies language on referee discretion on when to separate stalling fighters.

“Positioning fighters for a restart after a foul warning, physicians examination or a point deduction:

“Intention: A fighter should never be allowed to improve their position based on fouling.

“When a fighter who is in a disadvantaged position fouls and the referee must stop the action — if it can be reasonably accomplished, the fighters should be returned to their positions after the time is taken for the warning, physician’s examination or point deduction.

“When a fighter who is in position of advantage fouls and the referee must stop the action for a warning, physician’s examination or point deduction, the fouling fighter should lose his position of advantage when the bout resumes.

Some rules are meant to be broken, "Just Kidding" but for sure what I like about these new Rules is they will have someone going inside the octagon aside from a referee but this will apply on if a fighter got cuts on the head , or injuries to stop the bleeding and to further more the fight from a doctor stoppage, the rest was all just clamoring inside my ear by I can not really understand, but eventually when I see it in action I will get used to it,

Yes danherbias07! I will be going with the upset for the Main Event come this weekend at UFC 292.
Good catch on the odds difference for the K.O by Suga Show is a more likely outcome if he does win.
Because Aljo is the submission master and that is why they call him Funkmaster Flex.

Nice rundown in the bouts on the main card owengtam09!

So you are going with Sean "Sugar" O'Malley this is really interesting actually thinking about it Sugar O'Malley might have a decent takedown defense or his wrestling defense might be great I really don't know because I haven't seen him defend a takedown at all and this is my take Aljamain Sterling versus Henry Cejudo was really something as Sterling was constantly Spamming takedowns even though Cejudo got a high level in wrestling so against O'Malley that specialize with striking this fight is pretty much hard for him as Sterling will Surely control him in the ground, as you can see I really don't see Sean O'Malley fight a guy that can shoot good takedowns but Petr Yan, and only Petr Yan and from that fight he shoots 13 takedowns and only 6 was successful, as O'Malley is having a hard time with Petr Yan what if it is against Aljamain Sterling,

I have seen those MMA rules maybe it was because of the Cory Sandhagen VS Rob Font fight, but for sure those are the new rules maybe not because of that fight but we got 5 new rules in the MMA, one was for the eye poke if I am correct, they will give more time for the fighter to recover from the eye pokes, and for the Doctor Stoppage they will put someone that will stop the bleeding in order to further the fight from getting stop, this is just the rules that I have remembered and for sure for me it can be effective,

@owengtam09 Very nice.
UFC 292. I have been waiting for that event. I didn't watch this last fight because I don't really like what is on the fight card. But this next one I would definitely not miss.

And the Countdown starts.
STERLING vs O'MALLEY | UFC 292 Countdown

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCf9SZzqsO4

Here are the odds for this fight for the main event.
Aljamain Sterling - |Winner @1.39| by KO @7.40| by submission 3.00| by decision 2.43|
Sean O'Malley - |Winner @3.25| by KO @4.60| by submission @23.00| by decision 8.20|

Do you guys see a difference? By KO. Sean is the favorite and has a chance to KO the champion. I actually double-checked it to see if I am not making a mistake.  Cheesy Well, that dude is a hard puncher so it's given.

They already made the trash talk in the Octagon. Time to put all those in their fists and see who will be the strongest and most skillful. I am truly excited for this match.

Do you guys think there will be an upset?

For sure this is going to be a banger of a fight but it is as bummer that you have missed the last event there are so many good finish it was really an awesome of a card, we just have 4 decision winnings and the rest is consist of KO/TKO and Submission wins, that is how juicy that last event but for sure this fight the fighters are pretty much well know than with the last one, so it is going to be an entertaining fight,

Here are the result of my UFC Fight Night Prediction and bets that I have posted in another thread,

Here are the results of my bet and prediction for the UFC Fight Night: Luque vs. Dos Anjos

Vicente Luque VS Rafael dos Anjos ROUND 5 DECISION - WIN

Vicente Luque is really impressive in this fight he is taking his time in giving RDA and pressuring him in this fight pretty much good takedown defense and also counter those takedowns with his own takedowns, he surely was like he is not from a brain hemorrhage at all, Luque was controlling the fight and pressuring the Rafael dos Anjos in his game for sure is a great feat for Luque, for sure Vicente Luque has gotten good from his long break has many output strikes than RDA and 11 takedowns 8 was successful to RDA's 7 takedowns with just 2 being successful for sure Luque have won the fight,

Cub Swanson VS Hakeem Dawodu ROUND 3 DECISION - LOST

Cub Swanson got an emotional win and surely he deserves this I really doubt him because of his age, and for sure I am seeing Cub Swanson in a different light because of this fight but surely Hakeem Dawodu is pretty much durable, and for me because the fight was so close I really thought that Hakeem Dawodu got more strikes than Swanson, surely because of the takedown that Cub Swanson throws that must have seen by the judges with that 2 takedowns he threw, 1 was successful and I think that has done the job, for the judges to score it to Swanson,

Khalil Rountree VS Chris Daukaus ROUND 1 KO/TKO - WIN

Just like I have said Khalil Rountree hit like a Heavyweight, that was an insane fight, and looking at Chris Daukaus flying on the ground with those scary punches of Rountree, surely all Daukaus could do is to protect his head from that nasty punch from Khalil Roundtree, it was spectacular and a wrong move for Daukaus to go down the Division,

Pretty this UFC event is a banger we got many great endings for a fight and only got 4 Decision wins, which was really something I was really sad that my fighting kitten Polyana Viana lost with a submission win an arm triangle choke by Iasmin Lucindo, Marcus McGhee has another stunning performance Da'Mon Blackshear had an incredible twister submission, and another fighting kitten that this time won Luana Santos winning against Juliana Miller with a KO/TKO win,

PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT
Khalil Rountree vs. Chris Daukaus - $50,000 bonus to Rountree

PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT
Polyana Viana vs. Iasmin Lucindo - $50,000 bonus to Lucindo

PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT
Marcus McGhee vs. JP Buys - $50,000 bonus to McGhee

PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT
Da'Mon Blackshear vs. Jose Johnson - $50,000 bonus to Blackshear

UFC news now that Dricus Du Plessis got an injury and likely will step down on fighting Israel Adesanya and so he was changed with Sean Strickland which for me just an OK fight but for sure many fans want a Dricus du Plessis to fight for sure because of the injury this is not going to happen,

Great event for the UFC fight night but I was frustrated with my result because 1 out of 3 was my win so here are my result for the UFC fight night,

Vicente Luque vs Rafael dos Anjos - LOST

Pretty much I was surprised about Vicente Luque returning like he doesn't have any Brain hemorrhage that happen to him, he got the speed and the technique on when he will attack RDA, pressuring dos Anjos in the standing and making good counter with RDA submission ground game and keeping the position for him was really a great feat for Vicente Luque, surely a unanimous win for Vicente Luque,

Cub Swanson VS Hakeem Dawodu - LOST

Close match that I was really surprised about for me it was like Hakeem Dawodu win this fight but the judges scored a unanimous for Cub Swanson, pretty much a likely suspicious win for him, and sure Cub Swanson was also surprised with this result he thought he lost this match, again he won the fight and maybe because of his wrestling,

Khalil Rountree VS Chris Daukaus - WIN

Khalil Rountree surely has the speed and he was really calm going into the fight for sure a great fighter has emerged into the Light Heavyweight Rountree looks really scary and durable surely many will have a hard time about him for this division and a former Heavyweight was destroyed in an instant like that with 1 punch and a brutal follow-up you can surely see the power in his punches,

Still, a stunning feat to make those wins, you sure have a gifted thing of making that good decision which is not my kind of thing but again it was pretty much a great thing for you in making those winnings, especially those Dustin Jacoby vs Kennedy Nzechukwu prediction I would never see that because I am all out for Kennedy Nzechukwu because of his good record with his winnings it was surely a good gamble,

I say it is just a lucky guess for my picks actually I will surely do a little research for the fights and analyze what could possibly happen and from that it is all a go I am too lazy while watching then from there just making a bet or even if I didn't watch the fight as long as I made my bet it is OK, and then going with the flow with that kind of setting, for me it is just luck and not all the time it is going to be a win,

They sure do they keep on hyping a fight that will just make our eyes hurt this will be a hilarious event

My take on this maybe Elon Musk is just hyping things and in the end, it is all just an elaborate hoax, well there are no official announcements that Zuckerberg is replying to this it is only Elon Musk that is all out on social media for me I am just curious on what may happen or could it be a stunning fight and this is going to be an unpredictable fight because this is going to be their 1st fight experience if that happens,

My Prediction and Bet for the UFC Fight Night: Luque vs. Dos Anjos that I have posted in the other thread,

For sure it will be an unpredictable fight and we are just going with what we see and what we observe, but for this one, I just go on with the flow with what I think would happen, so here are my bet and prediction going with the UFC Fight Night: Luque vs. Dos Anjos

Vicente Luque VS Rafael dos Anjos

The stake odds for this fight are 1.98 for Luque and 1.84 for dos Anjos, For this fight I really think that Vicente Luque has more power and is much faster than Rafael dos Anjos that is now 38 years old, and Luque is much bigger and has the reach advantage, a 6.0" reach difference for Luque if you likey seen the striking of Vicente Luque it is really phenomenal, but because it lacks a punch he can surely make the job done with those strike output he can get against dos Anjos, and has a great takedown defense, the only thing I am worried about Luque is his recent brain hemorrhage that likely his doctor confirms he is clear, but how I wish there is no further effect on him in his performance so I am going with Vicente Luque,

Cub Swanson VS Hakeem Dawodu

The stake odds for this fight are 2.85 for Swanson and 1.43 for Hakeem, For me I really think Cub Swanson doesn't have it anymore he is nearing his 40 years and likely just past his prime already, while Hakeem Dawodu is just still improving and even though he doesn't do much with his Julian Erosa fight for sure Cub Swanson is a good match for him, that likely he has a better speed and can likely land more output on the striking and Swanson may not take a successful takedown here because of Hakeem's takedown defense and this could be a knockout  or a decision win for Hakeem Dawodu

Khalil Rountree VS Chris Daukaus

The stake odds for this fight are 1.55 for Rountree and 2.48 for Daukaus, Now for this fight Chris Daukaus goes down a division and likely this could be a much better level for him because the power in the Light Heavyweight division will be likely lessen, and punches could be lighter for him but surely because of the level of competition now Light Heavyweights has more dude with a more technical approach and have much speed, and Khalil Rountree is likely one of have more speed even though he is not that technical this dude hits like a Heavyweight, so for sure it is a wrong move for Chris Daukaus, my pick is Khalil Rountree,
