Are you kidding me? A video call for verification? I don't know where did you get that idea from but basically you know that the main reason why we need to do kyc is for us to ensure the authenticity of documents and in bounty to ensure that you are not cheating. You can hire people to do verification for you if tgat idea of yours will be implemented as sending docs will be a risk for identity.

video call for kyc is a more secure way but it is also more tedious on both parties as it requires both to be online at the same time. regular kyc requires only documents. these docs can be copied from other docs in the net. that means using other people's identity as yours.
This is really a serious issue to be honest , why will it be that serious to use video as a mode of kyc all in the name of buying it hunting for a token , well the kyc issue is now becoming more serious everyday by day and many are afraid to upload their data on net for buying or hunting for token and feel not save cause they never know what could happen to their data and also don't trust the founder which I see as a fact too , and the founders also claiming the need it to stop money laundering using the funds to buy their token , so I think they both are right and who ever feel safe e should go ahead and if you don't then never give out your details.

I am thinking how that is going to work, if it is what i am thinking then it means the ICO team will have to attend to every ICO investor video call and bounty hunters as well? Video call for KYC in my own opinion is not achievable.
I agree with this, video call is not effective, if we think about more than 3000 participant bounty, do you think dev and team will waste time to doing video call to all bounty hunter?? Of course not. This also violate krypto rules which should be anonymous. One of reason people love crypto because anonymous but video call make it useless

It's hard to think how will be possible that video call will use for kyc because thousands are joining in bounties and ICO they need more team to do that so I think it will not possible because team is busy to improve their project unless they afford to pay people to make a video call in every participants. The best app to do such things is Zoom! Zoom is very good software to make a meeting or conversation with a lot of people at a time. But KYC Verification by a video call is not a good decision and it will be very hard to make actually. Because 3-4K people invest in an ICO project, more than 4K people participate in their bounty, so, how can they verify KYC by video call with everyone? This will be a lengthy and very difficult and I don't think any ICO will go through it.

The technology is evolving im not even convince about this kind of matters, Kyc video call for documentation? This is a extremely savage. Somebody will get your identity without asking your permission. We all know Artificial Intelligence is making its wave to show the world how smart technology can do to our lives.
video call for KYC will be a good thing, but it will be troublesome if implemented. the trust will be a lot of people who don't agree about it. about the only personal documents many who complained about it especially with the video call will certainly be increasingly troublesome. but this kind of stuff is pretty safe and good to be implemented.
I think yes it is possible but it depends on how big the project is and they have a valid and acceptable reason why they need to require participant to do video KYC. On the other hand if it is only small or normal project, i mean no respected big people involve or include in project, no need to do video KYC because in the first place no reason doing it and it will only consume time.
Nope. Giving away your documents to someone who you have never met is quite crazy: but calling them to give them your voice and a face? Enough is enough. I know, they would not really demand it without the forcing from the side of the government, but it is pissing me off, in my honest opinion. AML for space where is every transaction traceable? The video call for KYC is really crap, and it does not apply to the actual ICO. KYC's video call cannot guarantee to avoid cheating in the bounty, and there is a high risk of personal information being revealed, so I think identity verification is the most effective way of KYC at this time.
I think i've seen that kind of KYC, but never used it. I think it would be hard to do, especially for someone that doesn't has a good networking connection.

For me, the usual way of carrying the kyc procedure is ok and satisfactory as additional measures might not be necessary. Althoght it is a higher level of check than the regular one, however kyc does require all these stress from the ico team and also investors who might not have time or who might not be convenient with it.
I think it will be difficult to implement. I don't see any point. No one will want to show their data on the video call. It will be easier to just send your data as it is now.
No mate. I heard 1st time like that condition. surely there was a scammer. Normally the project teams are not doing that. So every time needs to secure your self.
I think it's a good idea but it has various difficulties. The project team should track on each member of bounty and sometimes it's very hard. But I think if it's a really good project they can find the way to solve it.
