Yes, I have an experience with video call, but it is very long procedure and you need to speak English fluently to answer all questions (about anti money laudering). So I would rather choose KYC form than video call.

KYC is against the crypto currency property because one of the main reason for the crypto currency got popular is the anonymity so if we need to provide all our information and need to reveal where we are from then it is against us right? Anyway I don't support video call for KYC if you want to know what is secured video call means then it is none other than skype.

I do not think so . Crypto is widely used because it is not governed by any agency or country. I do not trust bounty companies need KYC. I do not want my information to become public. That is dangerous for my life.

I dont remember their company website. But ETHERISC ico used that method. I remember i did my kyc verification with video call and that was awesome. Lady was really kind also.

That's BS. Anyone can appear in a video call, claim and use different name and pass the kyc. Anyone can do that but not every one can fake a passport probably. KYC (know your customer) as the name implies is all about knowing one's customers, clients or even investors. I don't know why people frown at submitting their details. For me, Video kyc isn't appropriate except you mean submitting docs and a video call.

Doing this video call for KYC will be requiring more networking resource, cause the bandwidth that are needed to do it will become enormous. I think it will not be so much effective.

I don't see the point in KYC verification now, you can ask friends or buy documents. A video call is the perfect solution for verification, since documents can be easily purchased on the Internet, even selfies with a document .

An interesting idea, for the first time I hear about this, I would not have guessed) This will be the protection against sending a fake KYC ID, because for many companies this is a real problem.That's just still have to show the documents for identification. I think this is still a way that does not give the necessary degree of security of your personal data.

i will be agreed with this only if this requirement about video or any other KYC is mentioned in the first post of bounty thread in the very beginning of any bounty campaign and i will have a choice, otherwise it is not fair.

in my opinion, verification with documents is not enough, what video call is this only for bounty hunters. maybe for investors it is still possible because they invest in large amounts. and in my opinion, not all bounty hunters can speak English, it will be a little difficult to answer the questions.

so document verification is the right choice for now.

It's better to ask them to upload a video with required things to say

I think for me KYC with videocall is a bit too far because you are not like giving me a bank account that he needs to do a videocall and i think the normal KYC is enough for me.

Actually i'm a litttle bit afraid for doing KYC because our identity will shared to anybody we don't know and also for video call, i think won't do that because that was too private

Really no, I don't think you should go as far as video call to some unknown person yourself. If no different than selling your personal identity just to get some cryptocurrency which sometime could turn into nothing.

That's a bad idea, because the customer support person will not have enough time to call the video and verify KYC. They are human, not mechanical. Therefore submitting personal documents for KYC verification is the best way

Is there an ICO that does ask for video call for their KYC?

I really think this is an overkill for a KYC process when uploading driver's license and passport document is more than enough for it. Some of us are already scared away from this KYC even from the exchanges for we all know what could happen as several identity thief had been reported.
