You fudders do realize that it would benefit everyone to have a successful ico? I am baffled why do you guys want to sabotage it by throwing scam accusations?

It's not FUD, it's economics, there is no way they can collect any acceptable amount of money after what they did, their only option would be if the swap is for something near the 50%. How will any potential investor decide to put money after reading in this thread and learning about how they changed the rules after some people invested money already into their promises? If projects with awesome team and path sometimes don't get more than 1M, how can they expect something between 5 and 20? It's doomed to fail unless they start thinking of something near 50%

You seriously don't see the difference of "investing" to an anonymous coin without any roadmap and investing to foundation via ico that is handled trough lawyers?

Let's put a time limit on it to come back to the community with a better offer.

How about 24 hours. You know the longer it goes on people will just leave here and forget they just got fucked over and not stick around to help crush the ICO.

I think give them 24 hours to come back with a sensible way to bring in ICO funds and not destroy the support they have here.

If after 24 hours they are saying nothing or 5% still let's open start the scam thread on them and use previous history to leverage this into making sure they are pariahs to the entire crypto community for good.

Enough of these swap the rules around and not worry about destroying other peoples investment then saying tough shit you never paid us you just invested in our project? WTF investing in your shit pushes up the price and the value of the tokens you give yourself for free.

Is there something wrong with every other part of their brain accept the coding part?

So shall we say 24 hours now. Full and final best offer they are going to make to the community.

I understand if they really made 20M USD on ico then demanding 50% could be seen as too much but if they only raised 5M then 50% is good.
What in the world makes them think they can raise 20M? i mean 5 seems to be more realistic but even then that seems pretty high.

Of course with a rampant bunch of scammed vlt holders crushing it then it will hardly raise anything.

Slack don't mean shit when it come to raising a good ICO. This board is the major place for that. Explaining to a few people on slack is not like explaining to the rest of this board why they should trust them after they here about the actions here.

sounds good to me. Lets open up a thread in 24 hours, with all the facts and pictures of these guys, including that guy with pantyhose on his head (sick bastard)
on that thread we can also figure out how to get articles published about what happened here. Maybe even someone from law enforcement agency will pick it up and look into it.

The decision to run an ICO for 5-20mil € (dude, do you have any sense of reality left? 5-20 mil, for what? a yobit shitcoin?) is the worst move "jason" could do. And just devaluating users' position by 95% is an absolute asshole move.

Glad I sold at least half my position a 148k, so at least I haven't lost anything.
I'll take it as a reminder to always sell when prices are good and never get attached to a shitcoin.

5-20mil €, that guy is killing me  Grin

I guess this is a lesson we will all have to learn from this.
Thank god for scammers for teaching us lessons. where is that piece of shit Max? I wanna shake his hand
Max, its okay. you can come out of the hole now

He is in the slack playing the cult card with the "us" vs "them fudsters" and how the faithfull will have all the glory.

we should give him a break. poor Max.. people he scammed won't even give him 20 million dollars....

The least that can be said about me is that I do not understand the community and that I completely underestimated the intensity of the reaction. So, for my part, I believe I should get back to doing what I know: delivering value for the project.

I want to leave you with one final thought.

Imagine we deliver a working prototype with a test network that has a lightning network that is technically clearly superior to the Bitcoin LN.
Imagine we present a road map that shows that we know exactly where we are going and how to get there.
Imagine we publish a white paper that illustrates that we know what we are doing and that the approach is groundbreaking.
Imagine we sign partnerships with some of the world leading blockchain researchers.

How would that affect your perception of the situation? Of our decision?

This is our vision for the project.

I hope we will regain at least some of the trust that some of the investors have lost due to a lack of communication on our side.

Thank you everyone for all the time you put in to share your frustrations, and a special thank you for all the kind and supportive private messages.

Well, this is the problem, you thieving piece of shit! You are trying to exchange imagination for millions of $. You and your fellow team members know very well that it's all about technical whitepapers and execution and not about ideas and imagination, which are both worth less than 1 pound of horse manure.

I have read the Bitcoin white paper and understand the basics and the code pretty well.

regarding a blockchain programming in C# book

Have been examining blockchain development seriously, I'll for sure check this book out!

Regarding validating bitcoin addresses

Compressed and easy to understand information like that is rare!

Would have taken me days to figure out how the conversion would work step by step like that.

That last one. Holy crap. Days? Seriously? Having gone through that process myself a few years back, his comment is staggering.

So this is someone who's going to develop some new revolutionary coin?

That is my sense as well, Max Wolter came in February claiming himself as the webmaster, then he suddenly is the leader of the project. I believe Jason/John Connor left VLT, and then Alex and his buddy Max took it over for a quick exit scam.

Max Wolter
Mindaugas Kurlavicius
Sergii Shumakov
Julien Bordellier
Alexander Bremin
Gaury Antoine
Ivan Mendoza

Any of these people will step forward, and disassociate themselves from the VLT scam, now is the time.

Keep in mind that they already lied once to everyone about who they were. So that list of names becomes meaningless...

When you asked me in PM what I thought about the project, I had told you I had some "concerns". Well lets review the original "Jason" who I suspect has left the project and the account is now being used by someone else meaning they've still been misleading people. I'm actually surprised that no one has noted that awishformore is a brand new account for this coin only and yet he talks like he's been around crypto for awhile.

The arrogance of Max Wolter is just breathtaking.

This guy must have Asperger's or something.

I've never seen someone so inept and devoid of social skills.

Hey you fucking twat, you need the community's money for your ICO....that very community you're so quick to make fun of.........

Weekly Sunday update:

So 14.000,00USD worth of Servers finally arrived!
The test Setup is almost ready to go! Simulating thousands of transactions a second, network structural tests etc...
The new codebase is progressing nicely, I am reviewing each feature in the bitcoin version and reevaluating its usefulness and getting rid of technical debt, this will significantly improve network stability and efficiency.
Ones a functional version is completed, the coinswap will be initiated.
Further more remarkable graphical design progress has been made, have already decided on a new Logo and will release it with the new codebase.
Each day stepping up the game!

J.V.

Looking nice.

You guys all sucked the Big One based on this blurry ultra-lo-res pic and some sleazy shills  Cheesy

"Each day stepping up the game"...
Including a brilliant Exit Strategy that spawns a clusterfuck of cognitive dissonance.

Some advice: learn to trade obvious scams like this one and make money, never hodl just scalp  Smiley

this guys must be trolling
The fact he calls it FUD and refers to all those that were supporting things as "degenerate gamblers", eg the people actually mining the coin and keeping the network up, says a lot about him and his attitude towards supporters. Some people seem to just be clueless about when to just shutup. But then again, that sort of attitude is what you often see from those that run PnD coins. Maybe they're just young and stupid, I just don't know.

I have actually never seen coin devs so hateful and hostile to their own community. It is shocking to see it. In 5+ years here. Just keep all the evidence and show it when they go live with their ICO. I will personally pay for ads to warn people as well, when the time comes.

There you have it ladies and gents:

the guys want to get PAID

They want to get PAID to create the Bitcoin Killer....or so they say...

If we don't PAY them, they won't be able to do it.

funny thing that seems to elude them is that they are the ones who decided to start this little "endeavour".

no one asked them to come up with their so-called Bitcoin Killer.

hmmmm....

another bunch of idiots who decide to do an ICO because it's critical for them to line their own pockets while at the same time pissing on their supporters....

kind of reminds me of the PureVidz fiasco.....
