2017 was an extraordinary year for the cryptocurrency industry. Why? because most of the investors or traders or other top crypto holders, I believe they have made a lot of profit during the bull market, the huge jump in price especially in the price of BTC makes me still believe that the golden year can repeat itself.

i don't know what you mean by golden year. if you're referring to technological advancement in the crypto space I guess it's yet to come. if you're referring to the market price, some defi already surpass the ath of btc.

It was the golden year and for me another golden year for the whole cryptocurrency market that may happen next year where there is a high possibility that we will see that the altcoin season will happen with the making of ATH of the bitcoin. Look at the altcoins nowadays wherein they keep gaining momentum in these past weeks and I believe that the first quarter of the year 2021 will be good where a lot of prices are going up.

Until now the records achieved in 2017 have not been broken, cryptocurrency took 3 years to pump up the price. Now the bullrun is back, and the majority of crypto holders expect 2021 to be the golden year of crypto.
For me 2017 was a bounty golden year, because almost all bounties that were born at that time provided satisfactory results for bounty hunters.

A golden year for me is a year where many things happened to crypto that benefited the majority of cryptocurrency holders. If there are winners, there are also losers in crypto, that is for sure. While it is true that Bitcoin achieved its all time high and it gained a lot of Bitcoin winners. There are also those who were late at the party and lost it all after the crash of 2018. So for me the golden year of crypto is not really a golden year but rather a good year of increase of the price of the said coins and tokens, and that's it.

"Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"?"

I don't think 2017 was a golden year for cryptocurrencies, it was a wild year, and only golden for some.
The golden age is yet to come.

We can do this again the golden year for the crypto or we can make better because remember we are the user so we are making the future of the crypto it's up to us if we want to see again the bull run or but I really make sure that this few months the bullish market will happen again.
The more people will buy this coming months the price will rise fast so I hope we become united to make a new golden year for the crypto.

It was very true that 2017 was the golden year for the crypto because then the cryptos are shown growth first before the Bitcoin boom. But, now the Bitcoin shown the growth to the peak but still the cryptos are facing dullness because of the uncertanity of the world acceptance for the crypto coin.

For me 2017 is the golden year of bounties. There is no trash and no scammers like today, it started back 2018 when I experienced being scammed and that is the start I lose my interest and I decided to stop for 2 years and here I am again, seeking to earn again from campaigns. Hoping that this time I will earn.

It is unlikely that 2017 should be called the golden year for cryptocurrency.  Most likely, it was a year of good opportunities for participants in the cryptocurrency market.  Judging by what many write about this time, for many it was a year of missed opportunities, since at that time most cryptocurrency holders believed that their tokens would continue to rise in value.  As a result, they fell in price by 90-95 percent, and the majority did not rise after that.  We have learned a lot from the example of 2017-2018.

This year is also good. Most ofbthe coin give very much profit and bitcoin is kind of unstoppable . But in 2017 it was very much different those who hold for a long time they take too much profit from every single big cao coins. Xrp eth touch the moon. But this year maybe bitcoin grown very heavily but we didn't see too much. But maybe we could see that in next few months who knows. I joined the market in 2017 maybe I couldn't make that much profit but that was the year huge amount of people like us join this space.

2017 was the Golden year of Crypto, But in this year I think History is Repeating. Bitcoin is almost going to touch its ATH. Total market cap is also increasing. After it Altcoin will follow to Bitcoin.

Looking at the past, the price of bitcoin that could soar, of course the future has the potential to repeat itself even higher prices, but for Altcoins I don't see such a significant price move, can't the Golden Year of altcoins be repeated like 2017?

in my opinion 2017 is the best because many ico are successful and pay bounties, I myself made an extraordinary income in 2017, but it looks like 2020 will follow 2017, now the price of bitcoin has reached its peak, which is $ 18 500.  but ico is still good in 2017 than this year.

Oh how 2017 looks like yesterday, I made some huge gains in 2017 especially from ICO, I can remember WABI giving me cool profit, just for instance. I also gambled with some funds on lending coins then, and made cool profit too. This doesn't mean 2017 is the golden year for crypto no matter the good memories. This year, we've achieved greater milestones in crypto and BTC is gaining the highest traction than ever. In years to come I believe crypto enthusiasts won't regret they invested long term in crypto, BTC and ETH especially.

2017 has been very excited for everyone because many mates made money in these days and many invested on BTC when BTC was touching $20k.
Most excited year is 2018 and 2019 because everyone knows crypto and good chance to enter in crypto field, prices were very low.
Now BTC investors are very happy few will sell because they got profit and few still holding because hyping is still on/.

At that time bitcoin reached its heyday Because  in 2017 many people were interested in becoming miners along with the increase in bitcoin prices which continued to soar until it reached its peak in 2017. Coupled with the limit for the maximum number of bitcoins in circulation is 21 million pieces, then everyone will of course try to mine and buy bitcoins on the exchange, but unfortunately this triumph did not last long and it can be said that bitcoin was at its peak just a few months after there were many frauds in the cryptocurrency world so that investor confidence in cryptocurrency investment began to weaken and in the end the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies experienced a significant drop in price.
