This discussion is mostly about sporting events, for instance, football.
Do you consider gamblers who bet on fewer games that they can watch to be gambling more for fun than to make money?
My answer
It is a yes for me, because fun is not just in betting on these games, but following up with these games by watching them contributes to the fun you intend to have. If you bet on so many games across many leagues that have kick-off times clashing, then you are obviously betting with more intention to make money than have fun because there is no way you are going to watch all these games at the same time.
What do you think? Is it possible for a gambler with a long bet slip to be gambling for fun?
Well, it's likely not possible that some one with a long betting slip will be gambling for fun, but there is also no guarantee or assurance that the gambler who bets on only one game he or she can watch to be gambling for fun.
Anybody can decide to gamble for fun is they so please or want to, and it doesn't really matter how many sports matched he or she decides to throw money on.
It's very possible for a gambler to bet on several games for fun, and only decide to watch that which is his or her favorite of them all, or better still, don't watch any of the games.
But overall, I do not think any body will bet on a sports game simply for fun, it's not possible because, at the end of the day, the gambler will want the team he or she placed bet on, to win, not just for the love he or she has for that team or club, but so also he or she doesn't lose his or her money.
