What do you think? Is it possible for a gambler with a long bet slip to be gambling for fun?

Every gambler is different on his perspective in gambling, some just want to make money, some want to have fun regardless of the outcome, and some wants to have both.

Its better to have both because it reflects that you are responsible gambler, you are honest in thinking that you have a chance to make and at the same time, you are comfortable of the outcome and you have fun doing it.

Its better to hit two birds with one stone if you can, have fun and make money if you can, move on and do it often, and as long as you are betting with money that you can afford to lose, then gambling poses no problem in your mental health and your finances as well.

It is possible, because there are people who really loves to bet on every event they are aware of even it means they cannot watch it all at the same time. It's like they are enjoying about whether or not they made a good analysis on the odds and teams they put their bets on. Plus, they get a chance to get a good amount of win if most of the bets gets a good W. That's were excitement kicks in.
However, in my point of view, it is more enjoyable to watch your favourite team play while placing a bet as well.

Well, I don't think that gambling for fun is measured by the number selected games that a bettor has staked on. Some people will say that if gambling was just for fun, without a financial profit, only a few people will be gamblers. That's to say that sport gamblers and others are not just gambling for fun but rather for both profit and fun.
I can actually stake on five games but my only interest may be to watch only one game and that's going to be the one that my best club will play. It's still for fun and financial profit.

What do you think? Is it possible for a gambler with a long bet slip to be gambling for fun?
The feeling a gambler who is watching a game which he didn't bet on will get cannot be compared to those who watch matches they've placed bets on. This is because, those who watch matches they've staked money on will get so invested in the match that they might likely miss out on important highlights of the match. All they would be interested in is for the match end the way they want it.

I have been opportuned to watch a football match in a public place. There were quite a lot of people there and from their reactions to every goals and goal attempts, you could easily tell those who have staked money on that game. While some were cursing some footballers for spoiling their bets, others were rejoicing because they were going home with some cool cash. Only few neutral ones enjoyed the game the way it should be.

Watching games you bet on  seems like you staring at the risks you took and hoping that everything turns out fine. Emotions are high, tension built up because the outcome of the game means alot to you. Maybe there might be exceptions, and this should be for those who risk what they can afford to lose.

Do you consider gamblers who bet on fewer games that they can watch to be gambling more for fun than to make money?

My answer
It is a yes for me, because fun is not just in betting on these games, but following up with these games by watching them contributes to the fun you intend to have. If you bet on so many games across many leagues that have kick-off times clashing, then you are obviously betting with more intention to make money than have fun because there is no way you are going to watch all these games at the same time.

Gambling or betting should really be just that for fun and not for making money or simply making some wins is really just a bonus but well we do know the fact or the real deal on why people gamble or bet
most of the time is about on how they would really be able to make money and this is something which is really that a normal approach. Fun would really be just that part but the main priority would really
be that making money and this is something which is really that casual. For you to be able to make yourself that having the fun then of course you would really be sticking into those teams or players
or sports simply on which you do know on what it is. There's no point on trying out to get involved into something which you dont even know on what it is.

I remember there are streamers I used to watch who play casino gambling online and show the strategy or technique, but do we know if he only shows a demo account that's why he always wins, right? But in the reality of life as a gambler, even so, many people enjoy watching live casino online.

But when they do or imitate the live casino they have seen how the bettor wins, the situation is different and often they don't win, instead they often lose.

Betting on many match is fine as long as you familiar with the teams, even though you didn't watch the whole match, but you can still watch the highlight. What I not recommend is bet on random match where you didn't really familiar with the sports, teams, or the players, in order to reach higher odds.

Not to mention people might not have a time to watch the match, so you can't really force people to watch the match they bet.

I have a love/hate relationship with betting on matches I'm watching because
inevitably its either stress or elation, and both in most matches at the same time.

Also if I'm watching a match that I didnt bet on and my team are doing well I am
full of regret that I didnt place a bet at the start when odds could have been better....

My answer is an emphatic No!
If the person is using small amount of money and see something like that to talk among friends, it is fun is what I see about it. What makes gambling not to be fun is when the person is using huge amount of money to gamble and gotten sad after he lost. People like that will lose often and get sad again. The person can choose only one match instead. The person can also go for low odds. High odd will let people to use small amount of money to gamble. I can go for a single match with $10 but go for a long slip with $1 having 10 matches.

Everytime i play gambling especially in e-sports in tend to watch the game so I know whats the currently happening and to check if my bet are in still in a good run this will make me conclude to make a new bet so can cover up your lose in case or not and make a chill while waiting the game ends. Its give different emotions with every mistake of both sides of the teams but its fun and entertaining. Based on my experience if you are getting hype of the game sometimes if you feel lose already you don't want to watch anymore well it is a game where there's a loser and a winner but for me, I seek fun

Yes for me too.
Fewer games might also mean that he/she will watch the game which also means he will enjoy it more due to the added spice of his/her bet. I tend to cheer more when I bet and watch the game than just watch the game normally without any risked money.

About the long parlays, yes, I think you could still enjoy it. I made that kind of bet a lot of time especially same game parlays where I add stats of players that I know more about and I actually enjoy it because I was rooting for those players to make a score, rebound, or assists before the game ends.

So it goes without saying. I can't imagine how you can watch different matches at the same time. I mean, to watch with interest. Of course, you can superficially watch two or even three matches at the same time, but then it's definitely not for fun. So the answer here is unequivocal - too many bets on different matches at the same time means more a way of earning money than enjoying football. But this is also natural - it is very rare when making money is pure pleasure.  Smiley

To me watching the match one has betted on makes it all more fun and enhances the whole gambling/betting experience.
It is something I do, actually when the time of the World cup of football comes around I pick up the matches I feel interested in and get a moderate wager on them, when I wait for the game to start and relax while watching it.
It is even more fun than just watching for the sake of the love for the sport, having a stake on the match makes the dopamine and the thrill to increase and each goal (regardless of the side) can make us feel things which would not otherwise.
There will be people who bet on matches and yet they do not watch anything because of lack of time, to me those people are missing out the best part of loving an sport and betting on it.
yes many people do that. i do that too and on the other hand have a great sensation. when watching favorite team compete becomes a big hope when the match. on the other hand i don't mind betting money lost. but the team plays with good performance i enjoy the entertainment because fans have to support

Concerning football matches, I think yes, you are right. I and my friends commonly watch them in the pubs over a glass of beer, We are betting on them for a small amount of money just to have fun for every goal which adds chance to win the bet, Funny, but we have an agreement that the  winner pays the drinks we are consuming  and   as I have already said in some of my post my  friends have never thought that it is such a big deal to pay for others in the case they win.

It's not likely that a gambler with a long bet slip will be gambling for fun, in most cases it's to increase the chances of winning more money. It's not quite possible to watch the whole matches that you've bet on in a long slip or to be very familiar with all the teams. For me the fun in sports bet is where you gamble on the teams that you're familiar with, that you can analyze their style of play and their chances against another team. Some people don't like to watch live matches of the games that they've bet on, they see it as a distraction to enjoy the game while for others it's the opposite. I try to enjoy any game that I'm watching whether I bet on it or not.

The people that do this are the people that are gambling in the right way because gambling is supposed to be for entertainment and not as a source of income. I don't mean we can't be gambling to make money but we shouldn't concentrate solely on making money when gambling. Most of our bets should be for fun and watching the games as we bet can make us to be more entertained. Watching the games can give you more insight of how the game is going to turn out and this give you more privileges to make money as you watch.

You might not be available all the time to watch the match but learn to watch sport games more as you're betting on games. Having the intention of only wanting to make money without entertaining yourself is wrong. As you entertain yourself, you get to be happy in anyway that the bet turns out because you can be lucky always to be victorious.

What do you think? Is it possible for a gambler with a long bet slip to be gambling for fun?

It's obvious they are gambling for the profits. Most times we just claim to be gambling for the fun of it but actually if there wasn't any profits when it comes to gambling,  it won't be as fun as it is. Though for sport betting, we know most times we enjoy watching those match being played by our favorite team and as fans we will want to support them here from our own side. But things like  casino games and virtual games which we place out of luck and obviously profits, it's might be fun in one way though but to be truthful when we place so many different bets at a time it's just for the profits and to even increase our chances of winning.

Let's be honest for once, people who want to get fun out of a sports game will decide to risk very small money on the game, at this point they don't care if they are going to lose the money, their main goal is to have fun, they can easily decide not to risk any penny on the game too.

Those who risk mid to high amount of money aren't always ready to lose the money, the bigger part of them want to make money off the game and a very small part of them is in for the fun, in fact the fun rate is 5% to 100.

How will you even enjoy the game when you risk too much on the game? Your mind won't want the pleasure of watching the sport game unfold, your mind will focus on the money, you will probably be praying not to lose that money.

Aside from betting on fewer games, once you less prioritize winning you start to find those other pieces that make betting fun. For me one of those pieces are the interactions from fellow gamblers while watching or following the same matches.

What do you think? Is it possible for a gambler with a long bet slip to be gambling for fun?
It's possible if you know how to spend less because parlays will make you lose a lot and it takes a while to win if you're aiming for a parlay with several legs.
