Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"

Waves doesnt present any thread at all to ethereum, they will have to fight for the end of top 10 and even that would be good for waves. I dont see a sleeping blockchain like this rise so high,

Ethereum will win from Waves, because for now Ethereum gets more support and more users than Waves. So I think that Ethereum will rise very high in his price. I have also a wallet from Waves but i still got no coins in it maybe in the future i will do it, because Waves is not bad. Wink

Both of the are fine coin with great uses. Eth is a powerful coin that is literaly everwhere. Waves Will be good aswell but i am not %100 sure it will live up the hype.

Waves is worth  more than $4. You can't just deny that its too much for its development. WAVES had been traded over two years already, its hasn't been fully developed yet but you can see that the idea of some to be exchanges today are from the idea of waves itself. You just have to wait for its platform to be done and the tokens being created using the waves platform to be fully developed too.
For some reason, it reminds me of comparing the ether with such a project as neo. At the same time, they both have a number of shortcomings, which greatly impede them to take the place of the leader and to move the etherium project from the first place. Slow development in my opinion is the most important problem, however, it can be eliminated by the quality of the ideas being implemented.

I will go for Ethereum because Ethereum is the king of altcoins, and Ethereum is more promising than Waves, and i beleive that Ethereum will pump this year 2018, Ethereum now is recovering from a big dump, Buy Ethereum now, i saw a lot of potential in Ethereum this past days.

Waves and ethereum are one of the top 10 but I think both of them have potential  big altcoin.
waves have more development in platform,
and ethereum have big community, many more project use ethereum platform.

Lols, its like comparing computer with a calculator. ETH is being used by so many people. Also a choice of a hundreds ICO to run their crypto under the ethereum crypto currency. Waves needs to build first its name to get the public trust.

A difficult choice) Both of these currencies I really like. A huge part of my investment portfolio is in these two currencies. It seems to me that the Etherium is more conservative and reliable, but Waves can give more profit, I believe

Waves is just the opposite to ETH probably. What they do is develop Bitcoin scripting, do everything using contracts, it’s very fundamental but makes certain things very complicated. Waves took another road, where things are simpler, very easy to add all functionality you need using plug-ins, don’t have to code complicated contracts. Also waves focus is on mass adoption, specifically target two markets : fiat transfers on blockchain and crowdfunding on blockchain.

waves could be the next ethereum. if public confidence in waves is increasing, waves platform is not really perfect yet. we'll see later when the waves paltform is really perfect whether the platform of waves is a lot of devotees such as ethereum platform at this time or it will be more left behind from ethereum. what we are doing right now is looking forward for this, if you have money leftovers you can save waves from now on.

Waves is a very good project. But the developers of the waves too slowly created smart contracts. Etherium has become much more popular over the past time. But the waves have the opportunity to become one of the largest decentralized exchanges.

I do not think that waves can become the best-decentralized exchange, there are projects already much better than waves and develop much faster. The waves are developing too slowly and how you can compare them with Ethereum. ETH is a hundred million times more promising!

waves will not be able to take the place of Ethereum, because eth is more technological and popular.

Think of it as a good project for both, with the second goal creating the same platform for the token respectively.

ETH
1. because most coins wear an erc20 token in which the coin is developed by an ETH token
2. stable ETH price that can be made accumulated new coin ratio in price target.

Waves
there are actually waves but unfortunately in the development waves tend to be cheap so less in the interest for the developers of new and crypto tokens.

but now waves are starting to grow. It's because of the smart contract system used on its blockchain ETH, so almost all projects use ETH and sometimes there are projects that use Wallet WAVES but a little less that follow, and so far many people invest ETH.
And if every project sends our tokens directly to the Exchanger then automatically we do not know what if our tokens are in and we also do not know token into the exchanger where.

Looking at the remarks of Sasha (CEO of Waves Platform), I cannot think WAVES is hostile to Ethereum.
Rather, Waves seems to be looking for a way to coexist with ETH, just like a side chain.

Waves is a good coin and have good potential in the future but if Waves wants to replace Ethereum I think it's very difficult because of the huge price difference, Ethereum has got a lot of trust from so many people so I think it's very difficult Waves beat Ethereum.
