For a long time this was not exactly on those projects that I have today in my wallet. But I think that all this is not just like that, and probably I will sell and buy at these surges.

When the price of coins soars, of course, I will sell the coins that I have. And when the price goes down I will buy more coins. This is a very good strategy for making a profit. And we hope that there will be a very real surge.
that strategy makes you have to remain vigilant on the market, looking at every time the market moves. it will saturate. You have to make a price plan that suits your profits, so you just need to put up the price you want to sell.

What do you do when a coin you're holding suddenly jumps up by like 30% or whatever? do you try to sell at the peak of that spike and buy them back once it's gone back down again? or do you just keep on hodling?
I will sell my coin if it suddenly jumps up by 30% and won't buy that coin again. The reason is because I have gained profit on it already, and it is quite risky to go and invest in that coin again, hoping that the same thing will happen.

everyone has different ways and strategies for investing in cryptocurrency. if I would choose to sell then take that 30% profit and wait for the price of the coin to go down and buy again. I get a little more profit but often rather than having to wait a long time for the price to reach the peak and then sell.
You can do that plan when the assets you choose are right. because the market character of each crypto asset is different. there is better for the long term there is also a short term. we must know the market first before determining the investment strategy.

We all invest into cryptocurrencies in order to gain profits in the future so when a coin of mine increases in value after a while i mostly sell part of it and keep holding but if it's a project i really don't believe in looking at the vision of the team i just sell everything. It's better to sell it all off at some poin in time than keep holding because some coins may not rise ever gain due to some poor strategies being put in place by the team of the project.

Agree! Once your coins increase, grab that opportunity to sell it. Not everyone has the chance to earn huge profits. As for me, if my coins increase, I would definitely sell it. I won't wait again for another month or years for it to increase again. If by chance that its price increase after I sold my coins, I won't regret selling my coins. I have already earned profit, so it doesn't matter to me if it may increase again.

right, I also think like that, it will only hold a safe coin, which is bitcoin, so for the long term there are some coins that I deposit on BTTC, so that I still have hope for the future, my reason is because I am not good at analyzing

When I see the price of coins that I have in my hands, the thing I do is see the possibilities that will still happen in the future. if there is a possibility that it will be higher, I will wait until it reaches its peak.

Checking the list of previous purchases whether indeed I am suitable to make a sale or still have to wait. because of course we determine the profit we will get before making a purchase

immediately sell, this condition can be bad if we hodl and finally down. unless the market situation is stable continues to rise, then we can hodl longer.

When I coin I am holding suddenly spikes about 30%, I always see it as a good opportunity to increase the amount I am holding so I tend to sell it when the price is high and buy back when it eventually dumps, one thing I have discovered in crypto is that it's so volatile and would eventually come down even if briefly.

When I see a sharp jump in the price of 20-50% I sell half and wait for the price to drop and then buy more coins. I also see how promising the coin is.

30% is a very big profit for today's market. I would be very happy if some coins in my portfolio gave me such a profit. I would sell.

if any altcoin in my possession rise in value of 30% i would try to sell it immediately, as soon as possible with the certainty that later in time there will surely be the possibility of repurchasing it at a much lower price

I learn the hard way when I refused to sell during the last bullrun thinking market will always be rosy. A little spike at this point, I take my profit and move on or wait for dip to buy in again.

I'm just looking for the opinions of others really, there's no right or wrong answer to this question.
What do you do when a coin you're holding suddenly jumps up by like 30% or whatever? do you try to sell at the peak of that spike and buy them back once it's gone back down again? or do you just keep on hodling?

The joy of a spiked coin is unexpressable and i don’t think a large percentage of investors can always sell at the peak of a spiked price

So whenever you are in profit, cash out your profit
Then move on

As my personal experience shows, if the value of the coin jumps by 30%, then it has the potential for more growth, so I will closely monitor the rate of this coin. For example, recently we could see how the value of the BTMX token is growing, many people sold coins when their value increased by 80%, to date, their price has already increased by almost 200%.
It is indeed rare for such a coin like BTMX, what if the 30% increase is just manipulation then sell quickly before going down again.
