It depends on what you want from this coin. If you want to get at least 500 percent profit, than you are just patiently waiting for the price to reach this point. If you are happy with 30-40 percent, you are just making orders for that price Smiley

I will definitely make a sale because the opportunity will not come a second time, especially when market conditions like this have a good chance then I will quickly take the opportunity

usually I do nothing and just wait because all my coins were invested with a long term planning. IN some particular circumstances I sell half and hold the other part for some time

I'm just looking for the opinions of others really, there's no right or wrong answer to this question.
What do you do when a coin you're holding suddenly jumps up by like 30% or whatever? do you try to sell at the peak of that spike and buy them back once it's gone back down again? or do you just keep on hodling?

I've done this several times already and it's very profitable, it's always been buying low and selling high even a spike of 20% is enough reason to sell a percentage of that coin, but if there is still profit to be made in the future don't sell all of it.

I keep the coins partly on the exchange for a short period and partly on cold wallets for a long period, if the coin has grown and it is kept on the exchange, then I sell it. What I keep in cold wallets I don’t touch, it’s fundamentally.

Most people make mistake of not going into  a trade with a target once you have a target you hardly loose. So its important to have  a target once your cpin spile to that amount you sell of immediatly without any emotional attachment and greed
Indeed, people almost buy, hold and wait, they rarely set prices to sell, and that becomes a mistake every time what they are holding starts to rise, they do not have a specific goal, more accurate, greed creates confusion between stopping and continuing for them. Therefore, we should not ask what we should do when prices rise sharply because before prices rise, we have established all decisions and actions for the situation, what we need is to look at the achievements we will receive.

There is a strong increase, but I know that there is no news. And the next increase, I will sell out if I increase 30% and will buy back at a lower price.

For me, at least 50% gain is the time when I sell my tokens. Any sudden jump in price is always the best opportunity to make profits and I usually sell 60% - 80% of my holdings. But there are certain situation that a token gets favored that it spike can last for 1-2 weeks. I hope it'll happen again this year because it's been a long time.

sell, what else do you think? if the price jumps and has been higher than the price of your purchase. if you believe the price will continue to increase you can keep holding it back, but if some analysis says the price will fall again it will be very good if you sell it.

maybe if I see the coin can still increase compared to the price I will still save my coin but, I also see the current market condition maybe if what happened to the market today maybe I would sell the coin I had and go back to buy it because of that opportunity it must be taken even if it is the smallest.

i will study the overall trend of the market. if the market is gradually rising. i will continue to wait for the right time. if the market is in a bad state. i will sell it immediately.

It depends on faith in the coin. If you hold for a portfolio, then you have to sell. If you keep for the product, then keep

if my coin jumps up to 30% of the surge I will sell it, indeed I want a higher jump because I want to make a bigger profit, but I think if the market is currently in a bad condition and can go down anytime so it's better to sell even if it gets profit not in accordance with what I want. in the future I don't know the market will rise higher or it will go down further so take advantage of the jump rather than lose it.
humans will not feel enough if they are not grateful, so think again before you lose a lot.

My decision depend on coin that i hold. If the developers team looks solid and reach the roadmap, i will keep hold for long term. Its hard to sell in this current market condition because the price always volatile and i think making 30% is good to sell and realizing our profits

Its your decision if you want to sell off or not ,if you are satisfied with the 30% spike in price then no reason to hold back ,I've tried this in the past and it backfired ,after moving the coin to exchange dump takes place and I lost little due to transfer fee

Just your coin immediately after seeing a price drop on the chart, because after a spike there will be a dump for sure so that peak can be the right time to make profits but it is impossible to predict the peaks so we just have to little smarter by choosing the next big profits opportunity.

of course I will immediately sell it, especially if I buy at a low price then from a 30% increase is a good decision to sell and this profit can be used as capital again to buy cheap coins, but unfortunately the current market does not support sales.
