Sleep, eat stuff you like (junk food), get away from the computer (no games, no youtube or social media (in my case this is entertaining but gives me more stress at the end of the day)), play a sport or something that requires physical activity, walk, go to a river, there are many things you can do.

Go to the gym, yoga, deep breathing, play piano, read, go for a walk. Hard to be stressed after doing any of these things.

Also reduce coffee if you're stressed it makes your body produce adrenaline and cortisol which are stress hormones.

When I have stress, I try to keep calm. I convince myself that this will soon pass and you do not need to get hung up. Stress is all just increased voltage

I usually go for a ran, dance, play relaxing music or spend time in nature, such as park or beach and drink some orange juice - vitamin C reduces anxiety

Usually, when I'm stressed, I retire to a place where I can be alone, and I meditate on the situation or situations that may be generating that stress, in order to analyze them and be able to cope with and release the accumulated stress in the best possible way.

There is a simple way to reduce nervous tension: move, do sports, do evening jogging while listening to good music.

When we are nervous, stress hormones are released into the blood – this is largely realized through trembling, increased heartbeat and other external manifestations of stress. Physical activity allows you to get rid of excess stress hormones in the blood.

«What exercises should be used to kill stress hormones in the blood?»

Any! But if you're a guy like me, here are my exercises:

1. If possible, do some arm and leg swings with large amplitude, do 5-10 squats.  Walking also helps to cope with stress -walk for at least half an hour.
2. Sometimes  it is enough to breathe properly to relieve nervous tension. Take a deep breath, filling the entire volume of the lungs with air, and then exhale slowly. It`s enough to breathe this way for 5-10 minutes to calm down.

Lots of you think it's possible to relieve stress with alcohol. Do you really think so?

I read that alcohol does not help relieve nervous tension. Scientists from the United States conducted an experiment. A group of adult men were driven into stress by making them speak in front of a large ungrateful audience.
After that, half of the participants received intravenous alcohol-containing solution. The rest of the volunteers were given a placebo.
The researchers tracked heart rate, stress hormones and blood pressure the participants of the experiment, while those were answering questions about their level of anxiety and the desire to drink again.

It turned out that alcohol reduces the release of the stress hormone cortisol, but at the same time retains and prolongs the subjective feeling of tension.

It turns out a vicious circle: a person experiences less positive emotions and wants to drink more and more.

Conclusion: exercise and do not drink alcohol when you are stressed.

And if things are really that bad, better see a doctor

Forget everything first and sleep.  You can face life better after a good sleep.  Of course...PRAY!

Yes. Prayer helps a lot.  Sometimes, you really just need to be quiet and reflect what's causing all the stress.  Surrender to God what's causing it.  Ask the wisdom on how to deal with it.
