I think life is already hard, we just want relaxing. I have restarted reading books a lot, I do not have that much time, so I stopped when I started working, up until about 24 years old I did read a lot and not just for school but that was all my life, but then life took over and I worked a lot, I have restarted for the past month or so, waiting at hospitals is a great way to read, makes time pass easier.

However, nothing beats gambling as a fun way to spend some time, and it is still the best one, I can't do that all day long, I stop after one hour or so, and that is why I do other stuff like reading, but everyday I gamble at least one hour, maybe two sometimes just to have some fun. Relaxing that way on your couch is a great way to spend time.
Okay you have just explained your daily routine but from what I can see I noticed you write a lot and is like you like gambling which is not bad. Sometimes we might like to try our luck but the problem may comes from the kind of jobs we might be doing which could take enough of our time. It is very good for us to work or have something doing so we can always get funds from it to try our luck on gambling. People are really making money from gambling which we don't have to miss  that fun and the urge to keep trying our luck with the hope that one day we are surely going to make it in gambling. We all need to keep working and gambling at the same time so that everything will be balanced.

I see your habits are like me, when I'm busy waiting for something, what I do is play slots and bonanza is a game that I really like, sometimes I also play games or just watch Instagram and TikTok videos, basically I like animated images produced in slot games and if I'm lucky I'll definitely get the winning money.

For people who know how to manage their playing patterns in gambling, they will definitely not become gambling addicts, especially since gambling involves money, and usually those who are addicted to gambling will only end up falling into poverty and getting into debt.

I don’t expect to always be in profit, I just like to have fun. I bet on sports I enjoy watching to give it a bit of extra edge for me, it makes it more exciting. I don’t bet with amounts that I can’t afford to lose and that’s the way it should be for everybody.

The moment it stops becoming fun and you have more riding on it than just enjoyment, that’s when it’s a problem.

Yups, that's the mindset that should be in every gambler where they should not put excessive expectations of victory such as always expecting victory at the end of every session they do, because of course after all gambling is always about two things, namely winning or losing in any type of gambling. And often it is luck that can confirm that you will really be able to win at the end of the session, meaning that when you put excessive expectations of victory then what if the results at the end of the session lose? meaning it is clear that too much hope for victory will only increase disappointment when it turns out that the results are not as expected.

So it's better to have a neutral mindset and point of view towards gambling by understanding that gambling has the opportunity to multiply our money but also realizing that gambling has the possibility to lose our money in any amount, and by having that understanding and awareness I think it is enough to keep you making balanced decisions.

It's a question I asked myself this evening while playing a Slot game on a telegram casino.
I asked myself this question, and was puzzled for a while because I was actually confused of what exactly to answer myself, I wasn't sure if money was what I wanted from gambling, or whether I was just playing to have fun, or whether I was gambling for both money and fun.

Different people will have different thoughts because some will gamble for fun and that type of individuals will surely be wealthy and on the other side those individuals who are only interested in gambling for earning cannot fulfil their needs easily so they dive into gambling for money.

In gambling one cannot fulfil his dream because those who gamble for fun will surely stop to feel excited after examining that gambling is just for loss of money while those whose pure wish is to gamble for money will always remain in dream to earn but will fail.

And honestly, I am still confused, because I've thought of money being what I wanted, then "what is my actual target?, what amount will be enough?" is the next question I asked myself, and I realized I didn't actually have any amount in mind, and this made me conclude that money wasnt really what I wanted, but it's not fun either, cus I cant have fun if I am not winning, like I would always say, " there is no fun in losing money".

So, I thought I should throw this question to the gambling community here, maybe I could draw some ideas from your ideas and contributions.

1. What exactly do you want from gambling? Say it, even if it's something you don't think is possible to achieve.
2. What steps have you take to see if you can achieve that which you want from gambling?

Or

Are you like me? Gambling with no sense of goal, direction?

Let's have a healthy discussion.

Did you know that what is offered on gambling sites is very tempting? People bet $10, they offer wins of $1k to $10k. That's a very high multiple, the percentage reaches 1000 percent. Winning is what gamblers hope for. If gamblers say that they gamble for fun, that is a lie. Everyone who gambles wants to earn more money. However, everyone will realize when what they have is starting to run out due to addiction to the game, and they will never stop playing because they hope that there will be a big payout to recover their previous losses.

Not knowing how much you are targeting to win doesn't actually mean that you are not gambling for money. It is logical not to have a projected income from gambling activities because the results are unpredictable. So, not having a targeted amount that is enough for you is a normal reaction to the unpredictability of gambling.

I am into gambling to win and have fun. Gambling, especially sports betting, gives me a different feeling or experience than other activities. But I also have the belief that one day I will win big. I have been having some small and average wins, which also excites me, but the target is a big win.

To achieve my aim, I ensure I do accurate analysis and follow some betting platforms on social media to get more information. For me to enjoy my gaming activity, I ensure to gamble with only what I can afford to lose. It is important because putting in more funds and losing it is not entertaining.

1. MONEY or Win. Lets just be honest on here. Even if we do say that we do play just for the sake of fun then it cant really be denied.
2. There's no other way but to play literally with gambling on which you could really be able to have that odds or chance of winning.

Gambling with no sense of goal? Yes, you can if you are really that playing for the sake of fun and thrill but we do know that it would really be just that inevitable for someone to have that kind of approach
because not all would really be playing gambling for the sake of fun but rather it would really be mainly for the sake of money making on which this has always been the main goal.

The key on here so that you wont really be ending up yourself on getting wrecked by gambling is that you should really be having that moderation towards your gambling activity.
People do only mess up their lives at the moment that they dont have that kind of moderation on the time that they do play.

I really want to feel a big win from gambling, besides looking for how to get pleasure from gambling because betting activities are fun for me, but every now and then I think with a small chance I might get a big win, especially in slot games, which is Max win I have never felt. During gambling so far, the victory I felt was only limited to winning can, national and at most 300% and even then in several round purchases, I mean I want to feel it in one round of buying free spins maybe that will make my dreams come true.

But even so, the gambling that is done is quite directed and does not go beyond the limits that I myself am afraid of the risks, I gamble only when I have more money that I can bet or play at the casino, but sometimes also the gambling that I do is not directed, just releasing boredom and or looking for fun without having any goals achieved, maybe you will understand because ambition and motivation rise and fall according to the emotional state we have at that time.

Most of the people will want money from gambling and some may want both but the majority of people will hesitate to tell the truth that gaining money is the main motive for them to gamble. I don't know why people will insist that they gamble for fun but in reality, they gamble for money.
There is some kind of societal pressure or what that prevents the gamblers to admit that they want financial gains from gambling openly. There is nothing to hide and gamblers should admit openly that they gamble for money.

Also, there may be some who are not sure why they gamble, perhaps they are using gambling to spend their time and get excited gambling and hope for the winnings. Usually, it does not matter why anyone is gambling but it does matter that the gambler knows how much money he is spending and can lose while gambling. Sometime the gambler do not calculate risks and this becomes the biggest mistake in their initial part of the gambling career.

The fact is that we are into Gambling for the profit. No om would keep putting in his money to something that has such a high risk of loss. Gambling can only be fun when we are able to balance our loss with win. Aside that, most Gamblers would not want to put in their effort or money into gambling. Every gambler knows what they want from gambling, either as a means of having fun or making profit. What ever you choose to use it for, mind you that concentrating on the profits you make from gambling would make you loss so much and even become addicted to it. That's why most times a lot of people today just want to believe that they gamble for fun. We all want the profit to enable us enjoy our gambling experience.

It's really hard to say why they gamble. But from my personal opinion I understand that there are usually two main objectives in gambling. Earn or have fun pretending to play.
What I really want from gambling is the thrill of the unknown, the experience of taking risks and the possibility of significant rewards. Decision making with every bet is about strategic thinking and a lot depends on luck.
However, there are some downsides to gambling. A gambler is addicted to gambling if he keeps winning at gambling games. If the gambler cannot win repeatedly then it discourages him.

1. What exactly do you want from gambling? Say it, even if it's something you don't think is possible to achieve.
2. What steps have you take to see if you can achieve that which you want from gambling?

I believe most of my journey in gambling has much to do with the seeking to have new experiences, you know, something to tell to friends and family in the future when years passed.
In the end, gambling in alike any other experience, and experiences are to create memories, that is what I am looking forwards, to create memories worth having and sharing with others. For example, if you stepped into a casino with friends and you all have some money to spare, would it really matter whether if you all lost some money of your bankroll even after having a good night with food, beverages and pretty girls around catering you? Winning money would it make it sweeter, do not misunderstand me, but at the end of the night you all would be happy, not matter what you end up within your pockets.
It is a little more difficult to get that experience from gambling online, but still can be worth a shoot, specially of within the comfort of one's home and if one is being in company with loved ones who also like slots, dices and you have one big screen on the living room to display the gambling session on.

In summary, I am seeking for experiences stories about how I lost or won money, so I can look back to them in the future and laugh with friends about it.

In general everybody gamble to win nice amount and no one want to lose. But even they lose, they continue to gamble again and again. Why? Because they enjoy even after loosing. Gambling becomes their passion. Plus if we win by chance then our joy/emotion will be next level.  So win or lose gambling is fun or we say a bit addiction too. I've seen someone who think he can't digest food until he goes gambling whether he wins or loose no matter coz he can afford that.

Honestly, I don’t enjoy gambling when I ended up losing since the outcome always what matters to me but that doesn’t mean I can’t afford to lose money. I just can’t be happy when thinking about the lose game. I just consider it as learning experience to improve for my next game that’s why I easily overcome with it.

The hope of winning on the next game is what makes me keep coming back again on gambling. So far I’m winning more often than losing in overall of my game with this thinking so I consider this effective and right for my gambling style.

I just want to have some fun during my gambling time and that's what I want from gambling of course the fun part will be totally ruined if we consistently lose in gambling and that's why I bet in sports events because I get happy with sports betting and at the same time I earn money sometimes from my good bets.

2. What steps have you take to see if you can achieve that which you want from gambling?
First step I have taken to achieve my fun goal from gambling was to shift my focus from casino based games to sports book as that's more suitable for me and at the same time I could earn some profits with it if my research turns out to be good.

I try to research the matches where I place my bets and when research process is completed then and only then I place my bets. Most of my bets have gone good and that makes me happy, and that makes me achieve my fun part.

maybe I'm like you too. don't know the purpose of gambling that I dream of. but I don't care about all that. If I win I'm happy, if I lose I'm not burdened either.
I gamble to pay for what is fun for me. Besides my football betting habits, games like slots and card types are fun for me. once again I'm paying for the pleasure I can enjoy myself. Don't force me to look for other pleasures like playing games or going on trips.
I like to bet and I do.

True, I agree with that, because logically of course everyone does not like the name of losing money especially if it is in large amounts, while in gambling the possibility of risk will always be a very possible thing to happen, but it is a fact that gambling also provides a chance of winning to all gamblers and I believe that this chance of winning is what makes gamblers come to get involved where they expect to win in gambling to multiply the money they bring.

On the other hand in my opinion there is no enjoyment in a losing streak situation, meaning that one of the plausible reasons why they continue to gamble even though they always lose is because they are unable to accept the situation and conditions of losing so one of the reasons why they come back to gambling is to catch up on the losses they have previously experienced, and I would say that someone who comes only to seek enjoyment then it is unlikely that they will continue to gamble when they lose, it is quite the opposite that they will prefer to quit.

whenever you think about this that means you're really losing more then winning, because as a gambler first thing that comes to your mind whenever you stake a game it's all about winning and on the process you lose. Maybe you tried again like several times same thing, that's when you'll start asking yourself what do you really want from gambling. Well it wasn't your fault you're trying to know what you want from gambling, but the mistakes is from the gambler. Why? Because he/she is all after the winning immediately but not knowing that it's also a game of luck, and their are different set of gamblers in the world. People who gamble for money, people who gambles for fun and people who are trying to add up with their monthly incomes. But all I know is that they are all gambling for money,  you can't tell me you're gambling for fun meanwhile you're using your money to stake a bet. So with my opinion as long you're gambling you're really into the money that's it.

I am gambling to make profit even though, I know that the odds of making profit is very low. However, I try not to use an amount of money that will make me get emotional after a loss, so that I can still continue to gamble the next day to see if I will be lucky. Gambling is now part of me, and I enjoy the fun from it since I am a football lover and I bet on matches that I watch. Instead of me just sitting down to watch the matches, I do bet with small amount to enjoy the thrill in the game, and if I win more happiness and fun.
You seem to have clear perspective on why you gamble as compared to our OP who just does it for no reason in particular.
One thing I can tell about occasional gamblers is that, if they win , they often do so after a prediction on a particularly expected result from a match or something like the UCL finals, and other selected league final matches.
Others who just like to gamble probably enjoy trying their luck when they are very low on cash or just come into much cash.
