there are so many causes for the crypto market to go bad, especially when the economic crisis and war issues hit, the market experienced its lowest point at that time, but not all altcoins were destroyed, there were still some altcoins that really dominated at that time, but bitcoin remains the safest coin to invest at that time

Well, I bought some fractions of Bitcoin at the price of $30K, ETH at $2,100 but unfortunately they have been going downward since then. The bearish trend in the whole market is still prevailing, which greatly impacts on coin prices. Despite the bear market, Bitcoin is still holding on its ground with its price not fluctuating over the top. However, the altcoins are becoming more volatile than before and I begin to doubt whether investing in altcoins is a wise choice. Did you invest in altcoins ? What do you think of the current altcoin market ? Please let me know.

One of the skills that is required to flourish in this industry is emotional and mental health management. The market is volatile in nature and as such there would always be movements and you have to either overlook the movements or understand that it's a feature of the market. Investing in bitcoin or ethereum is a good idea from my perspective, but you need to be willing to wait for your trades to be profitable.

During inflation and the world economic crisis, Of coure this is would be affects on Altcoin especially this is a bearish market moment, don't care too much about the price as long as the coin has clear utility and fundemental, so long-term investing is the right solution for now. BTC is indeed the safest investment solution but compared to altcoins when the bullrun will increase 10-100x profits. Keep support to altcoins with new Innovation like Web3 and AI it will be new trend in the future of Cryptocurrency

the altcoin market will continue to follow the btc price, so if btc is in a downturn, and some altcoins experience an increase it won't last long because it will decrease again due to a bad market.

History repeats itself. If you are unsuccessful in buying bitcoin, the best thing for you to do is just hold on to your coins until the next cycle, when cryptocurrencies start to rise again. Believe me, you are not the only person worried about this. Altcoins really aren't the best option for you if you're that worried. Just keep bitcoin and you'll be fine.

The market is still bearish and a lot of altcoins may not survive it, that's why it is a very risky venture investing in altcoins. Some altcoins have no utility whatsoever and only relying on the community to push it.

if the altcoin you choose is ethereum I think it is a wise choice to invest, especially if you also choose bitcoin to invest, of course you just have to be patient to wait for the bullish season to come. altcoins will provide greater profits but also have greater risks as well considering the higher price fluctuations. As long as you don't invest in new projects, I don't think you're doing anything wrong even though it's still a floating minus, from your presentation, do you invest only at one price, because it would be better if you buy it in stages

Nothing happened to alt-coins, just that everything in life has session, which is the session of investment has been approached to buy and hold for a specific period of time and sell, so the Bear market has affected almost all alt-coins to be cheap to buy as Bitcoin has dropped below $30k, therefore it's time to invest more without reason it twice, because alt-coins in cryptocurrency market we soon recovered.

if you have bought and have fallen in price, keep it for a couple of years and you will see that you will also make a profit, you just have to be patient to wait. 2024-25 will be the start of the new bullrun.

Let's see how patience he was waiting for the bullish trend to come. I have been also facing the same situatiion like him but i do believe if the bullish trend will come after halving. Anyone who are in floating lose must be fully patience waiting for the bullish trend to come as soon as possible. It will be coming again very soon. I hope that we will not missing the next train.
The OP invested in good coins so at least they do not have the problems other forum members have, like those which invested in meme coins and now they are suffering huge losses, however everything depends on their ability to hold their coins even when the market moves against them, something which if we are honest it can be really difficult, as only once you have gotten enough experience you can deal with those movements without too much of a problem.

Only few buyers hold altcoins for long term profits, they don't trust the process. Unlike bitcoin, buyers can hold continuously not minding the market situation. Some altcoins can go down to zero from $15 during a bear market. So, investors find it difficult to throw in money into such coins. Hence, coins like litecoin is holding tight during this market down trend and increases alongside the bitcoin price. Other new coins with lesser market cap may not survive like the older and experienced coins; encountered multiple market changes. Bulk buying altcoins and holding them is very risky.

We can't deny that altcoins, especially meme coins these days are very hot and hyping. We can say people are making money from this situation but can't ignore the risk and losses that awaits them. Now, if you care about at least a safe investment, it is better to avoid this kind of project rather than focus on Bitcoin. Though it was not profitable short term but can be more profitable in the long run. You don't need to doubt the current situation as dumps are inevitable in the market. Might you see altcoins are pumping these days but someday, it possibly drops more.

if you run out of money you are only left investing in altcoins it is up to you to sell or hold on until it returns to a high price. but if you still have money to survive or have a real job, better not sell it now. because the time is near to see green market. yes, that's a risk that must be accepted, in June or July, maybe there will be potential for altcoins.

Everyone should know that the cryptocurrency market is highly volatile and can be unpredictable. Regarding altcoins, they can offer potential for higher returns but also come with higher risks. As far as I know, altcoins have always been more volatile compared to bitcoin, which can lead to significant gains or losses. I do not personally invest in altcoins (except for a few selected ones), but I suggest keeping up with the latest news and developments in the market to make informed decisions.

Yeah, and good for you, hopefully you are not selling any of your altcoins yet. What I mean is that you will definitely learn a lot of experience right now in this bear market. I know that 's hard to see the price as it is on red and majority of them are in -80% down.

Nevertheless, this is just a test for altcoin holders. Still a best time to accumulate solid projects (not meme coins) and then wait for the next bull run. And with that said, just HODL and just stay calm and just be mentally strong and for sure again, you will learn alot from this bear market and it will make you a stronger investors.

Altcoins are normally more volatile than Bitcoin since it has less liquidity. People investing in altcoins are those riding for profit and not with investing purposes so don't expect any long-term profit on any altcoin, especially those pre-launch scams. Pre-launch of altcoins is a Ponzi scheme on crypto in which the just use the collected capital for liquidity while they are the ones who will dump on it using their own tokens. Locking the liquidity is almost useless since the team can drain the LP with their huge chunk of the supply

Avoid presale if you want a peaceful crypto experience.

I did and why not?

Based on what you have been writing above if you have been investing your money at the peak price. the price of bitcoin has been pumped from 16k to the 30k and yeah you know what you ahve done. That's why you have been facing the lost.
I were putting my money in altcoins once bitcoin was still around 16k. Buying at the peak price is the stupidest thing that can be done by a trader and so, you have been trapped.

Think to buy when theprice was dipping to the bottom.

What do you think of the current altcoin market ? Please let me know.

It's still good. The price of bitcoin is still fluctuating but was not moving down below 25k. It can go back anytime.
Im still holding my altcoins since i were buying it at the bottom.

Indeed, all markets depend on the price of bitcoin, all altcoins will move to follow bitcoin, if you want to invest in altcoins, at least you also have to watch bitcoin movements and also follow bitcoin news, many people choose to invest in bitcoin and ethereum, but many also choose altcoins as an alternative investment for the long term, but don't forget to research all information about cryptocurrency.
